Experienced technicians that know how to diagnose problems and repair them. They also have the right equipment to complete the job with. I was very satisfied with the engine put in my mercedes-benz. It surprised me that they put the engine in my car in 3 days. And with the price I was most satisfied.
Just an overall “meh” experience. Basically paid 250$ for a oil change because the AC stopped working again 5 min down the road. And now they can’t fix it because of staffing and now I have to ship the car to Arizona and don’t have time to take it back for them to “refix it “ just bummed out in general with the overall experience.
It was truly a blessing for me to have them be able to fix my 2005 Jaguar 4.2 S-type. But of course like most foreign vehicles, parts are expensive and because of European automobile craftsmanship. The labor is very expensive. The owner and service staff were very pleasant to do business with. I will am
Kyle solved my Cayennes ABS speed sensor problem SAME DAY! Thank you!
I took my car there to get repaired and when I picked it up it was not even working properly and they didnt even try to correct the problem. The mechanic just avoided me.
DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!! KYLE, IS TAKING PARTS OFF YOUR CAR CAUSING MORE ISSUES TO FATTEN HIS POCKETS. ALL I CAN DO IS WARN YOU. WE THE PEOPLE WORK TO HARD TO NOT GET THE SERVICE REQUIRED AND LEAVE WITH MORE ISSUES THAN YOU CAME IN FOR. STRAIT CON. AGAIN DONT DO IT!!!!!!!! HE OWES CUSTOMERS NOW BUT WANT COMPENSATE!!!!!!
Love these guys. They do quality work at fair prices. Did all the control arms and water pump on my BMW in a day. Wouldnt trust my car to anyone else. They never keep you waiting and it makes routine maintenance a breeze. Highly recommended if you have the German car disease.
Absolutely the best shop I have ever dealt with. He is a great guy and knows his stuff!! I was from out of town and was in serious need of help, and he took care of me right away. I was able to leave town without skipping a beat with my car running flawlessly. They kept me updated during the repair process and where very easy to contact. He gave me future suggestions and genuinely cared about my car. Best shop in the world, will be staying in touch for future suggestions!!
They found the fuel problem on my Mercedes, and fixed it without long delay at a great price. Would recommend to others. Thank you Kyle and Herman.
Took my f30 in for a oil leak I was told it was fixed and they also charged me for a oil change I didn’t want or need after Telling them I didn’t want it done. Checked the engine after driving it home, some oil residue figured it might’ve been old. Nope still leaking oil fairly heavily. it’s like they charged me 700$ just for a oil change.....
I like the job they did with my r350 very good customer service. I would highly recommend
My car battery kept dying. I am brand new to the area and nervous about finding the right shop for my BMW. I came in, they replaced my battery right away, and they were so welcoming and kind! Reasonably priced! Ted was super helpful and Cassandra in the office was a delight! I highly recommend this shop!!
Horrible experience. They will leave your car with more problems then what it came in for! Car was left with no oil and engine seized not even an hour after leaving the place. Do not come here ever! Bad experience and im not the first here to have problems from what it seems like. Horrible riff raff looking mechanic
Very honest, reasonable prices. They will tell you whats wrong, the price and let you know how long it will take to fix the problem. I would recommend them to anyone.
Kyle the owner is a great man to do business with on any European Cars...Keep living life to the fullest!
Just left Autosport in Savannah, GA and they are amazing! I just bought a 2013 Mercedes C300 up in New York and my dad and I were driving it back down to Florida where I live. We had car troubles yesterday & got to Autosport as soon as they opened this morning. Reason being, dad has a flight to catch in Florida today!! Spoke with the owner and explained our story and circumstances and he treated us with much respect and honesty! Being from out of state, you worry a shop will take advantage of you due to being from out of state & the time schedule we had. Not here! He even said he will help me find a Mercedes shop down where I live in Florida!! I highly recommend this place!!
Quality workmanship with sincere customer service.. We highly recommend this shop for all your auto needs.. They are our go to guys. You will not be disappointed. They have the knowledge and skill to have your vehicle the way it was when it had 0 miles on it.
Knowledgeable, efficient, honest and fair! They do great work and are fair in the price. Nobody likes the bother or the cost of car repairs, but the Auto Sport team is honest and they are pleasant to deal with every time---the men doing the work and Cassandra in the office.
Customer service is absolutely the best! I have never been to a mechanics shop that made me feel this comfortable! I wouldnt take a German vehicle anywhere else for service.Professional services, Top of the line equipment, Well trained staff, Great Location
I would recommend anyone with a BMW to come here! my car was repaired in less than 5hrs, he had the part on hand and I didnt have to go broke trying to pay. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the vehicles they service and not just about taking your money like some of the others.
Best work on my 2000 BMW ever. I never have to worry if I am getting the best service for my money when I take my car to Autosport. Keep my 2000 running like new!
I moved to Savannah in December of 2012 with my 2008 BMW 530. Coming from Atlanta where it was sometimes hard to find a trustworthy repair facility it was a sigh of relief to find Ted and the gang at Autosport of Savannah. Ted was very helpful with questions I had and even made suggestions over the phone! Truly one of Savannahs gems - Autosport is a great place to have work done.Did I mention they work on British stuff too?!
Inspected a vehicle I had considered buying and did a great job. They gave me the news that was contrary to what was advertised and kept me from making an expensive mistake, and even gave me a break on the inspection price because they found a couple big problems very quickly and easily. Thank you so much folks!
Staff are nice but woefully untrained. Food is served neither hot or fresh. Strike two - Not coming back
Amazing work love love if u have a foreign perfect place to go to
My husband and I have taken our VW GTI here several times. Always happy with the outcome, the staff are friendly and the mechanics are transparent and informative. On one occasion we were very happy to have come here for a second opinion after having the dealership tell us we needed a several thousand dollar repair for an oil leak, which we found out was basically non-existent and could be addressed with some preventative measures and regular maintenance. Highly recommend.
Great business. I drive a MINI Cooper, and having work done at Autosport by far beats the cost of towing to the dealership and the high dealership service rates. Ive had them work on several areas of my car, from something as small as reading and clearing fault codes to something as big as swapping the turbocharger. Every experience I have had with them has been excellent; the work is always done very well and quickly, and they never try to sell me anything I dont need. Also, the personal customer service is great; Ive been able to clarify any questions or concerns I had directly with the technicians. They even gave me a ride back downtown when I dropped the car off for service! I would recommend this place to anyone.
Kyle and Ted know what theyre doing. Prices are reasonable too.
I came in for a oil change before work. Was in and out a little over 30 minutes. The people there seem passionate about working on cars most mechanics dont want to touch (bmws/minis).
No tunning, bud service
My 2007 328xi started to make strange noises 700 miles from home the day before I had to leave Savannah.Autosport not only diagnosed the problem correctly (worn serpentine belt tensioner), and fixed it the same day for a reasonable price.Ted, the owner, then went above and beyond, making a few calls to find me a good independent shop back home in NJ.When talking to him, it was clear that he has great knowledge and passion for his business - I can highly recommend it to anybody.
Spent over $10,000 to get my sons BMW fixed. every time i got it back from them, something else went wrong. seemed like NOONE knew what was wrong or even how to fix. last time in, it was the fuse panel. 2 weeks later the car caught on fire. under the dash at the fuse panel. have told many and still do, not to carry it there. sorry, but thanks for nothing.
Just did a great job on 2010 Audi S5 clutch. I would recommend.
Terrible experience, brought BMW to have starter replaced, upon picking car up there were error lights illuminated that were not lit when the car was dropped at the shop--- the tech DID not offer to recheck his work but rather sought to deflect the mistakes made by citing other issues caused by what was at best careless work that caused the crank position sensor to be unseated. THIS created five error codes. After my son and I literally wasted several hours of our time searching the web to figure the nature of the problem, my son decided to drop the splash pan and troubleshoot the work himself. Surprisingly, the problem, as we figured, was the loose crank sensor--- we resolved it-- all of this could have been resolved if the shop had offered to put the car back on the lift and retrace the steps taken. NO EFFORT WAS MADE TO CHECK THE WORK.......do not take your car to this shop. Ted, the owner, is very understanding and pleasant, the work performed at the shop, however, needs to be done in a more professional manner.
Had my car serviced at Autosport, and because the price to fix it was so expensive, it sat there from September 2017-January 2018, when I finally picked it up, it had a vibration that progressively got worse while driving.I thought it was flat spots on the tires, or wheel bearings going bad, but once I had someone watch the wheels while I moved the car, they saw that the wheels moved on their hubs.It turns out that the mechanic at Autosport did not tighten any of the lug nuts!I’m lucky I didn’t lose a wheel. When I tried to get in touch with the owner, he was never available and none of my (many) messages were returned.
I helped this business .Their job done is sometimes not good, but improvements are also needed to protect human Rights and consumer Rights . I received two reports and i have my own negative report .If change is not done, i will press the charge and prosecute any violation of the law to help people here getting few knowledge of the law and to protect people who are in connection of the business .Anyone has the rights to do business, but unfair practices work against consumer law and the consumer rights for having the service expected .
Ted and team have always, always gone above and beyond to keep our three vintage (aka old) Volvos on the road. Its amazing they can check it out and know what your car needs. I am very thankful to Ted for always being available to work on the cars. Good service, reasonable prices, and friendly folks! Trust your cars to AutoSport of Savannah.
The staff are very knowledgeable and truly care about you and your car.
Called to see if they could work on my car because I called them in the past (timing chain) for something totally different from what is wrong with the car now. Was told back then that they dont fix timing chains. So when I called this time I just wanted to make sure they could work on it because I have to get the car towed there. Mechanic didnt even get on the phone, was told that whoever did the timing chain probably did something wrong which the timing chain was done months ago. Explained that and what was wrong with the car now and was told he still didnt want to work on car. Smh. Glad yall doing so well with business that yall can turn away a possible future customer.
Excellent service: thorough, efficient, and courteous.
I trusted these people to work on my loved E 36 M3 and am glad I did. Great work at fair prices and some good advice thrown in.
Good place and people for my BMW. Thanks.
Negative star here. Just beat your head on a rock instead of going here. Last year Ted was the owner but now its a kid who is a unprofessional, ignorant, immature jerk, not someone you want working on your prize possession. Brandi the receptionist was pleasant though.
Honest owners
On Sunday, July 4, 2017 weekend, I was enroute from Florida to Tennessee when obtaining gasoline off the interstate my 2005 Mercedes SL500 would not start. I knew it was not the battery. I was completely stranded and about helpless. A prayer was answered when I searched the internet on my smartphone and called AUTOSPORT OF SAVANNAH. Amazingly, Ted answered the telephone and stated he was at the shop for a personal reason. I got my vehicle towed to AUTOSPORT OF SAVANNAH.Ted diagnosed my problem was a STARTER and would replace once one could be obtained but not at least until Monday. Ted realizing I was stranded, personally drove me to the Savannah International Airport so I could lease a vehicle and continue my journey to Tennessee. Upon my return a few days later, my vehicle was fixed and I received a VERY REASONABLE BILL. I was more than 100% satisfied.
I really cant say enough good things about the guys at AutoSport.Today I was driving down Montgomery and my engine shut off, rendering my brakes completely useless. This was HORRIFYING so I pulled off and realized, hey I was across from a mechanic. Bad but good luck? I walked in and immediately Ted informed me of some potential issues. He picked up a gas can and walked across the street to my car to help me.Ted not only gave me what gas the shop had, but he drove me to get more and then proceeded to give me a vehicle diagnosis for free (I have been charged $75 for this at Savannah Auto...).The folks at AutoSport EXEMPLIFY helpfulness. I really could not believe how far they went out of their way to help me in such a stressful situation. I am a student and as someone who isnt local I have felt taken advantage of by a number of dealerships and other local mechanics.I have found my new go-to car mechanic and would send anyone I know to AutoSport in a heartbeat
By far, the BEST European import shop in Savannah!! Honest and great service!!!
Friendly and knowledgeable people
Good prices and service
One of the most unprofessional group of people under on roof. A bunch of hillbillies. They turned a 3 hour job into a 4 day job and made excuses the whole four days. Never once took responsible for their poor service. At the end of it, it felt like they should be paying me. They delayed my trip to Texas by 3 days. In the end I was out 3 days and $600. If you ever need a german car worked on in Savannah, Ga stay far far away from this place.
Called for a quote on break pads, no parts. Quoted me $229. What a joke!
Big disappointment. Not full service as advertised
Should have taken my car there first (Ask for Ted)
