It is to my concern that Colby Pearce of Critz Mercedes Benz Inc. of Savannah, Georgia, provided me with the WORST customer service experience this weekend. Last week, I turned my car in to the company for Service A and an oil change. Although, not even a day after receiving my car back after being serviced, I experienced malfunctions in which Ive never experienced. After a long overnight shift at my job, as I got ready to start my car, it was then when I realized my key ignition would not turn on. I was unable to start my car. This caused confusion and frustration due to the fact that my car was just serviced by Mercedes Benz of Savannah and somehow not even a day later of having it returned, I was experiencing serious malfunctioning. Due to this, I had a local towing company come and tow my car at an expense to Critz Mercedes Inc. to have it once again, serviced. As soon as Critz Mercedes opening, I begun making calls. It was brought to my attention that Colby Pearce was the only service advisor attended this weekend whom which could assist me. Due to this fact, I made several calls over the hour to raise concern and even left voicemails so we could discuss the issue and have it resolved. An employee of the company, assured me that she left my name and number on stickers upon his desk in which he could refer to when he got around to calling me back. After 5 hours of waiting, I still received no call back from Colby Pearce and experienced confrontation upon arrival with the towing company. As soon as entered the company, I found Colby at his desk with no productivity which as well raised confusion as to why I had no call back. I explained to Colby Pearce of my calling and how the car malfunction was urgent. Although, he was very much nonchalant and showed no concern. It was then when he found the need to bring to my concern that Mercedes does provide free towing servicing. But, that was after the fact that I had already paid for one myself. If he had given me a call back, Im sure I would have known. Because of Colby Pearce, I as well have no transportation. In the area, I noticed there were multiple rentals outside but he explained to me that these were for next weeks customers and was unable to provide me with service from Enterprise. I was furious. Confused again as to why I could not receive one for the meantime, I could not believe this lack of concern especially when experiencing this all after receiving my car back from the company not even a day later. It is to my hopes that this issue is resolved and nobody else should go through this with the customer service of Colby Pearce.
I was in town (3 hrs) away for training & needed a Service B. They didnt have any appointments but advised me that if I dropped my vehicle off theyd fit me in & did. 2 days later, I picked my GLE350 up & was satisfied with customer service, service on my Benz & their price. Ill be returning for future services.
As a long time customer with Critz, I could not be more pleased with the level of customer service I receive in the service department as Colby goes above and beyond every time I come in. Colby and his staff are knowledgeable, efficient, honest, and most of all kind. I highly recommend traveling to this location for your service needs!
I really wish I could give this dealership 0 zero stars, but since I can’t, I’ll write a review. The customer service is terrible here. I purchased a brand new 2021 Mercedes Benz from Critz in June 2021 and by August 2021, the sound system started going haywire. It has taken an act of Congress to even get an appointment to fix the problem and get a loaner. The customer service is garbage, especially in Service. Since I’ve heard so many great things about Mercedes Benz, I decided to try one. Worst mistake ever! I feel like I’ve been taken. No one seems to be available to answer the service department until I call the Sales Department and that’s a hit and miss. Every time I call, the information is not accurate for the appointment. Not to mention, I originally referred 2 other clients of mine to them, which I regret. I’m quite sure it’s not Mercedes Benz as a whole, but this experience is just terrible. Buyers Remorse?They are really making me regret this purchase altogether. 2 months in, Im definitely thinking about trading it for a 2022 Lexus!

Do not expect to be able to make a service appointment on the phone. NEVER expect a return call from service. Will not give you a loaner car if you book online, but will offer a million excuses when you get here. Makes a Saturday great!
I arrived at service department after 5pm of a Friday afternoon, Tiffany looked at my towed car and tried her best to resolve the issue on site. She was so wonderful and helpful so that we can drive back that night. Much appreciated!

Due to Covid 19 I was not comfortable traveling to Savannah and waiting for my car to be serviced. Critz sent a driver to Hilton Head, SC to pick up my car and the driver left a loaner car for my convenience. The service was preformed and ready for return after their normal business hours. They called a driver in so my auto could be returned that evening. Also, Tiffany Small provided excellent customer service during the online check out. My husband and I own 2 Mercedes, purchased at Critz, Inc. Savannah. We pass a Hilton Head Mercedes dealership to travel to Savannah to deal with Critz, due to their customer service. Our sales person is Justin Hilliard.
I am new to Savannah and have to tried multiple times to call and even submitted a request online for information about an oil change. I have a classic 300TD that I am willing to pay more to get serviced but when a dealer cant even bother to pick up the phone (6 times I called!) or answer an online request, it makes me spend my money elsewhere. Sad, because I buy cars often and I cant imagine spending my money here. So frustrating.

Seriously the worst dealership I have been to, to include little no name dealerships.I went in for Annual services, asked them to take a chip out, After a phone call saying th they could do it for 75$ (Okay great) I am told they tried and weren’t able to, still fine (instead they did a different free of charge service) that’s great thank you, until I pick up my vehicle and the entire passenger side is cracked. I’m told someone will follow up and they still haven’t. Is this even a Mercedes Benz dealership?
This is the worst dealership I have every been to and I have purchased upward of 33 vehicles. Lets start with our first visit we showed up looking to purchase a C-class convertible for my mothers birthday. We were greeted by the salesman and we explained what we wanted, he then replied with do you know how much that vehicle cost? I dont know if he was saying that because we are a interracial family or because we wearing normal clothes, regardless of his reasoning we felt very insulted to say the least! The fact he had the audacity to even say it was just to much for me! I said excuse me and immediately my family and I requested to speak to the manager he was busy and he never came we then left very upset and went across the street to Critz BMW and they have amazing customer service and saved the day! we ended up buying 3 BMWS spending over 250K that same day. we explained to them what happened at Mercedes they apologized even though it wasnt fault. However my mom still wanted a Mercedes so 6 months later we went to Charleston SC bakers motors and bought her a loaded 90k 2019 Mercedes E450 convertible they are awesome dealership too. I would never recommend Critz Mercedes to anyone! I have never been so insulted in all my life.
My wife and I just purchased matching MB SUVs and our buying experience was excellent. Our sales representative Cam Despres was very knowledgeable on the MB line and was a pleasure to deal with. From Chris the general manager to Fiorella the business manager the process was transparent and smooth. Critz is a very honest and low key sales organization.

Newly relocated to area an on God it shouldnt be this hard to get service! At this point Im posting out of frustration! Only dealership in area an cant get appt nor a straight answer for a service appt or ability to come in an wait.. (Service B, drove to Augusta) 3 months ago incident..This week attempting to get appt for tire going flat express the emergency an been passed around voice-mails to operator since 08 this morning.. Was told leave message an we see if can help you, is it only one service representative to make appts or its a certain time frame to make appts in area I dont know about.. This cant be how you operate, help me make it make sense..
Whilst driving down to FL on I95 in our Mercedes-Benz based RV, we suddenly experienced a problem with cruise control/ABS/ESP with message to visit workshop but was already 4:30pm.As we were 125 miles from Savanna the closest M-B dealership (Critz) I called and spoke with Jack who told me to be there first thing in the morning.They promptly checked me in at 8am even though we obviously had no appointment. By 10am we were on our vacation trip again with the faulty ABS sensors having being replaced under warrantee.Thank you - Critz (Jack Todd) and M-B.

Got a flat tire driving back to Florida from Charleston and needed a tow to the nearest MB dealership. Jack Todd had us squared away in no time at all. They even recommended a lovely cafe up the block for my family to enjoy lunch while we waited.

This dealership overcharges and the job is not done correctly. I took my vehicle to fix a noise in the brakes, and by the third day it came back worse that it was in the beginning. They charged me an $89 inspection fee even though I got the repair done, and then another $32 for “miscellaneous” charges. I’m actually sad because I should be able to trust the dealership with my vehicle. My name is Teresa Nunez, and the date of service was February 18th, on a Mercedes GLK 350; I called corporate, and they said that o take it to a different dealership to be inspected, and they’ll give me another vehicle to drive while mine is being serviced. Maybe I’ll have to drive to Hilton Head Island in the future. In the meantime I feel taken advantage of, and upset that I have to spend more time and energy on this. I’m not the kind of person who gets upset at the service advisors because it’s actually not their fault, Colby lied to my face because he told me the cost would be $564, then at the time of pickup he gave me a $715 bill. I didn’t bother asking to speak to a manager because the first time I was at this dealership the situation was similar, $100 to inspect the lights! I’ll update this review once this is resolved. My daughter drives a Hyundai, and the Critz Hyundai has the same bad service, and bad technicians.
This is the second time I have visited this dealership’s service dept. They are the worst when it comes to expectations and delivering a car when they promise. Both times I got a call explaining the service and I was provided a time for completion. On both visits neither car was ready when promised and I never received an updated call or text. They clearly cannot handle the volume and they do a poor job of managing client expectations.Go somewhere else.
When I called to ask about a pre-owned vehicle, Cameron answered the phone. He communicated very politely and professionally, and it was the only time I have ever looked forward to going to a car dealership to meet a salesman. I never felt any pressure from him, and he exhibited none of the typical sleazy traits that many car salesmen have. The facility was pristine, and I would gladly purchase from them again.

Critz service department is nothing more than a band of thieves. They had my car in for service now for over 3 months with new excuses and delays everyday. They failed to ever provide a loaner car or any communication. The only time I could get an update is when I called them. The service manager is rude and aggressive. The service is terrible. I will be filing a complaint to the BBB.
I have visited a few other dealerships and worked at one, your place is kinda small but yours is the best I have visited, the Service staff is AWESOME for me the BEST !!!!!
The relationship with this dealership has been an exceptional one make us feel like we are a valued customer. The service department takes great care in returning your vehicle like they recieved it. Apart from the reasonable pricing for the types of service it is always a bit unnerving after they complete the intial inspection and submit a suggested service plan, but never the less a complete inspection is performed. Critz is our go to dealer for purchasing and service.
This is the WORST place to take a Mercedes Benz to be taken!!! They have had my car for over a month and they have not kept me updated. They have supposedly been waiting for a part the whole time.

While Delivering an Airstream Interstate Lounge to a Customer in GA., a light came on the dash, giving my customer concern. Critz Auto Group was right around the corner! This is literally the worst Mercedes dealership that I’ve even been to and I’ve visited a lot of them while searching for my new car. I did not buy my Mercedes from here because the sales person was not knowledgeable and gave me a lot of false information. Coming here to get maintenance is such a pain. No one greets you at the door and the staff that I have encountered have been quite unfriendly. It makes me want to drive hours just to get service at another dealership. The very first service that I received was almost $400 and I was under the impression that I was getting an oil change and didn’t find out until it was time to check out. I was not expecting to spend this much on service for a brand new car and no one even explained what they actually did. They were aware that this was my first service appointment so a simple explanation beforehand would have been a nice gesture. I just paid it and decided to never return here again.

Courtesy vehicle was provided for what ended up being nearly 3 full days days due to discovery items during service.The staff was very courteous, and kept me informed of progress throughout the service. Had a bad experience with issues on a recent CPO purchase from another dealer out of town. Visited Critz upon return to get them addressed.One was a dashboard rattle, which they fixed under warranty but the issue still persisted. The part they replaced was replaced by another dealer again.My biggest issue was that upon completing service, my car was scratched (driver door). I was headed to the body shop to get my rear bumper replaced / painted and Critz didn’t want to pay the estimate from Joe Hudson and stayed they never heard of them. They told me I needed to go to a body shop they use which is Mercedes Certified. I checked MBUSA’s certified collision centers, and this local place in Savannah wasn’t one of them.At the end of the day, they wanted me to either pick the car up from Joe Hudson after the bumper was complete and bring it back to them to have their guy fix the door and put me in a loaner. I was worried about mismatched paint and opted to take the alternate which was partial payment from them and I paid the rest out of pocket. I ended up paying a few hundred bucks out of pocket to fix their screw up.Make sure to do a walk around on your car if they wash it - scratches on mine were pretty deep (and in general paint got really swirled - had to have it buffed after )
I brought my Sprinter Based LTV RV in for 90K miles routine service, plus asked for Front End Alignment, and check reason for Traction Control warning symbols. They took care of everything the same day, had the parts on hand to fix the Traction Control issue and are equipped to do a Front end Alignment on my 12000 lib plus RV. I live some of the time in Savannah and about the other half of the year in California. This is one of the best MB dealerships I visit for regular maintenance on my sprinter chassis. As get problems quickly, and compared to California very reasonable prices. Hence I try to plan for Scheduled Maintenance” with this dealership, to save money and know the service will be done right the first time. After 3 years of using this dealership, I have never had any reason to return after maintenance they have performed.I have had occasions to visit several other MB dealers around the USA and Canada, and this dealership is still my favorite.
Great service. I called early Saturday morning and they got me in within 30 minutes of the call. Replaced the start battery after checking the system. Replacing the battery fixed several issues I was having unrelated to actual starting.
I believe the service shop parts pricing is too far above the national average for comparable services. Not my first choice for repair work.
Been without air conditioning in my Mercedes sprinter since July fourth. I’ve called twice to try and schedule a warranty fix and both times was told that they did not have a spot available but would call me back to schedule. This is /was my most prized work vehicle. Was proud to have it.Tough to keep a good perspective while working every day in 100 degree heat in your new Mercedes sprinter without air conditioning and other mechanical issuesNot sure if I’m not getting help because there’s no profit in warranty repairs but it’s starting to feel like it.

I always buy my Mercedes from Jackson Mercedes in Macon, but I’ve had 3 Mercedes serviced at Critz and I’ve never once had an issue. I did have one door malfunction about 4 years back on one of my vehicles under warranty and I was told it was not covered. A few phone calls and smiles and tada everything was taken care of. Keep up the good work Critz and one day I’ll stop driving 2.5 hours to Macon to buy my vehicles.P.S Thanks for all that you do in the Savannah Community
I purchased my vehicle from Critz a year ago. I made an appointment for an 11 am oil change a week in advance, notifying them at the time of scheduling that I would wait on my vehicle. I show up on time for my appointment, only to be told that I would be waiting a very long time. Apparently the service staff goes to lunch from 11-1 and would not even begin work on my vehicle until 1-meaning I would sit and wait for two hours past my appointment time before my service would even begin. This was not mentioned at the time of scheduling. I easily could have scheduled for another time or signed up for a courtesy vehicle if this had simply been communicated to me. Absolutely unacceptable.
I broke down near Savannah on a roadtrip from Florida to Pennsylvania. I got to towed in unexpectedly at 2:30am. Clearly, I had no appointment. These guys were great! They serviced my vehicle first thing in th morning the next business day and had me on my way only a few hours later. Thanks so much!
Not only a great purchase from Critz, but my first service was just as enjoyable. I really like this place. When I purchased, Justin was wonderful to deal with. Not only a great deal, but delivery went even better. I was all signed and on the road in minutes. Many miles later I came back for service. The team in service was great, they got me on the schedule last minute and had me taken care of quickly. Without a doubt Critz Mercedes will be my first stop for my next purchase.

What an amazing team!! We were on our way to visiting friends to celebrate their Moms 98th birthday, when our RV (Airstream Interstate on a 2017 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 EXT chassis) gave us a rear wheel speed sensor error that disabled all ABS and safety features. The team was able to give us an appointment for Saturday at 10am. Not only did they took our Sprinter into the service bay at 8am when we got there, they were able to fix the problem and get us back on the road before our scheduled time!! Keep in mind that this was on a Saturday when they have reduced staff. We were so appreciative of the attention and service. highly recommended!!! Thank you Jack!

On January 24, 2020, I took my 2015 CLA in for service via tow truck to diagnose the following error messages: “Service required. Do not shift gears. Visit Dealer” and “Collision Prevention Assist Plus Inoperative.” As a result of these messages, the check engine light came on, which I mentioned as a part of the service to be diagnosed. I also had them fix a recent safety recall that came out pertaining to the Communication Module Software. Prior to leaving the dealership, I stated that I would like to be called prior to any work being done in order to understand the diagnosis and authorize the repair. I was told that I would hear something Monday possibly Tuesday the latest.Needless to say, I never received a call as to what work needed to be done, the cost or a status for pick up, so I called them. I called the service number on two separate occasions. I had to call the main telephone number for sales on January 30th in order to get some assistance. After being transferred to the service department, I was informed that my car was ready for pick up that same day. I picked my car up the following day.I paid for the diagnostic fee and I was told that the other problems were resolved as a result of updating the software errors. I drove it back home which is about 40 minutes away and the car shut down while I was stopped at a light on a busy street about 3 miles from home. Luckily I was not hit during this disaster! I was able to get the car started again and made it home safely. I did not drive the car at all on Saturday. Today, I wanted to drive the car to see if it would still be an issue. I drove it 2 1/2 miles away from my home with no problem. On the way back about a 1/2 mile in, the car gives me the same error messages that were supposedly repaired, more error messages pertaining to the parking break, other lights, the return of the check engine light and shuts off on a busy street. Thankfully for me, I was able to signal for the other drivers to go around me.Now, I am back at square one. My question to you Critz is, what did you diagnose and what did you fix? The explanation that you gave me was clearly a blatant lie. You may not care but I value my life. IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO RETURN A CAR TO A CUSTOMER THAT YOU KNOW SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING! I explained this to Jack Todd when I turned this vehicle in as well as the week prior when making the appointment. I also voiced my concern when I finally spoke to someone on the phone regarding pick up of my car. I again voiced the same concern in person when I picked up my car and I was assured that everything was fine and all problems had been resolved. The service technician that worked on my vehicle is Kurt Mason according to my invoice.Critz, if your staff is unable or incapable of performing services and/or repairs you should say that to the customer upfront. If you have no clue as to what is going on with a vehicle, that should be said as well as actually finding the proper and honest action to resolve the problem. Mind you, this car does not have 40,000 miles on it yet. This car has only been serviced with this dealership. This leads me to believe that some things were “overlooked” during the past 5 years and that the hands on service was bare minimum. Now, here I am stuck looking for another dealership to properly service/repair my vehicle. You should be ashamed of the service produced and held liable for putting MY SAFETY at risk by INTENTIONALLY returning a vehicle to me that was not properly diagnosed or fixed. In addition to the piss poor service that I received, your customer service is lackluster at best. In combination with the lack of honesty, there appears to be some major ethical dilemmas. I have no problem paying for the proper work being done! All I asks is that it is actually done and done right! People, save yourself the stress, time and trouble take your vehicle elsewhere before going to Critz for any problems.

While traveling in my RV, I had some warning lights come on to get my rig to service immediately. I was able to get in first thing the next day. They fixed the problem, and got me back on the road within a couple of hours. Colby and Winne were both polite and professional. Thank you for a great experience, and your expedience of my Repair’s.
To be honest I had not heard good things about others experiences here so my husband and I said that we would take our car to Hilton Head to be serviced. But since we both work in Savannah it would be easier for us to just have it done here. We took our car there and I must say that the customer service there was great! And not to leave out Tiffany the Service Advisor there is AWESOME! So for any of our needs for our car we will come there to have it done.

Service at Crites is everything that service should be. Theyre prompt, courteous, and professional. I have lived in Dallas Texas and Atlanta Georgia. Park Place, and especially Mercedes Benz of Buckhead should aspire to such a level of service. We have two high-end Mercedes. We have never been disappointed with Crites. I cant say the same of the other two. Thank you!
Oil change and tore rotation for my Yukon Denali. Excellent customer service. Truck went in at time scheduled and completed in a reasonable amount of time, complete with complimentary wash. Very satisfied. Keep up the great work.
Luv this place! Went for an oil change and they topped my fluids, rotated my tires, and the best of all they washed my vehicle. I will never get an oil change at another place again 😊
Called yesterday for a service appointment and earliest was the 24th of November. Hire more mechanics, please. Critz MB responded to my post within 15 minutes explaining that they had recently hired two more mechanics and have an opening this Saturday. Excellent customer service.
Requested service from Sea Island, GA and was handled by Jack Todd at Critz in Savannah. Vehicle pick up and return by Monty Jones was most professional and satisfactory in every way.
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and honesty of the service department. No upsell, lies or misinformation. Better prices than the independents and other MB dealers I have used in Tampa and Wilmington,NC.
They always say out in the world not to go to the dealership...well with Critz this is not the case! They listen and really respect the client. Pricing is very fair and lets face it...to have a certified person be able to trouble shoot or tell you not to worry is awesome! My car came back fixed, clean and ready to continue down the road safely! Did I mention its 12 years old! Great place and super people to deal with ! Critz service is outstanding! No matter what problem I throw at Tiffany, she greets it with a smile and handles it immediately. I could go on and on about how well she has assisted me with my car. She somehow knew in about 10 minutes everything about where and when is the best time to get me and that is just 1 of 50 details she paid attention to. Richard had my loaner ready and waiting for me to jump in and get on with my day. We are so lucky to have that kind of old school, customer first, service right here at home in Savannah although I would easily drive farther for it. KEEP IT UP!! THANK YOU!!
Over last 15-20 years we already bought several cars from them.Several years ago when our car was on service they exchanged the loaner without our permission and with our personal belonnings which we never got back.About a couple of years ago we decided to trust the new team and purchased last car. So far, I do not see any improvement:a) the financial person did not keep her promises, first servise was not done properly, even the tires were not rotated and some other details.b) Now it is about time for the third service but we still did not get second one. Every time you call them, it does take about 20-40 minutes waiting until you get to a person who is just a scheduler, he cannot answer any questions.Very poor customer care, please, avoid this dealer if you care for your money and time.
Customer service alone is a reason to avoid this dealership.SIX MONTHS AGO - Emailed asking for more information and was told to call. Replied back to the email asking for Carfax, because it showed the vehicle had been in an accident. No reply, so I drove to the dealer and spoke with a sales person who answered my questions and I left.TWO WEEKS AGO - I was finally replied to with the excuse It was a crazy day! Really? Six months went by and you said its been a crazy day? Further in the response it said that tomorrow I would receive the info I asked for.TODAY - Still no info, but it doesnt matter anyway. Whats the point in having someone operating as your Client Representative if they dont know how to do that?Sandy Pearle - Avoid at all costs. I cant even imagine how many sales shes lost the dealership.

I have patronized Critz Buick GMC for over six years and have no complaints with maintenance of my vehicle or customer service. I genuinely adore the representatives that I come in contact with on each visit. I used to worry that I am taken advantage of by predatory auto repairmen,that leave me with an astounding repair bill and an immobile vehicle,this is not the case with this dealership. Quality and expertise is what makes this dealership so attractive to me. It is a plus to learn that the servicemen attend classes to keep up with new technology that will help to maintain my vehicle. I know nothing is perfect;however I know my vehicle is in the best of hands when I bring it in. Thanks to everyone for all you do!

These people kept my car for 8 days and charged me for something they did not even fix this is the second time I’ve had an issue with them and the service advisor is unprofessional, she didn’t even answer calls half of the time she only texts now I have to get my lawyer involved and am left with a car I can’t even drive .
