Happy with the diagnostic service and repair. I was from out of town and was wary about using a mechanic that I didnt know, but they were nice, prompt and reasonable. If we have car trouble again in Savannah, well know where to go. Super convenient for Tybee!

Have had my vehicle in twice for various issues. Each time they were professional, friendly and repairs were accomplished quickly at a fair price. They suggested optional items that needed to be addressed on my older vehicle but did not try to push unneeded repairs on me. Highly recommend this company.

I didn’t have an apt and I dropped off a trailer tire and they said they would get to it in when they could. They called shortly after and said it was done. They removed this tire and replaced it from the bed of my truck. This was service above and beyond. They had no idea I previously contacted Goodyear down the road for a tire plug and they didn’t even look at it, they just automatically said they don’t repair trailer tires. I would strongly recommend this business and I will refer them to everyone in the area.

I arrived just prior to my appointment. The service writer welcomed me and took my information right away. I asked for a time estimate and the work was done within that time frame.I will return for future oil changes and other repair work as needed. My kids and I were on vacation on Tybee Island and my daughters Forerunner started acting strangely. As it is an older vehicle and we needed to drive back to VA, I took no chances and got it in to someone to look at ASAP.Our vehicles have always been serviced by Meineke but the only shop in the area was quite a distance. I called the shop and explained our situation to Tommy and he had enough integrity to redirect me to East Coast Car Care, as their location was much closer. He assured me it was a great shop with good mechanics who do good work. I called and spoke with Billy and he was very accommodating and reassuring. I had the Forerunner towed in to be looked over. Billy called in no time and informed me that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle...maybe just some user error. (Kids 🙄) He told me to swing on by and pick her up... No charge. What a relief!!!Billy paid it forward that day and I hope he reaps the rewards of his kindness, generosity and integrity. Thank you Billy!

I brought my car in to have a tire leak repair and also decided to have my oil changed and have them fix my front window washer which was not working. ECCC was so professional and thorough & helpful. On our way out of Tybee Island my mom’s car was making a concerning noise. Her car was taken to Savannah Car Care - East Coast Car Care. They were extremely in depth with their examination of her engine. They didn’t try to sell services she didn’t need. The entire team there were so incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and respectful. We are thrilled to have worked with the owners and employees. We highly recommend them for their honesty, compassionate attitudes, and attention to detail.

Billy was absolutely cordial and professional when I came in. They are very knowledgeable about the work they perform and the work was done in a timely manner. In addition to that, they have highly efficient customer management systems in place that send you pertinent information regarding your vehicle and when it’s time for service. They were very friendly and upfront about costs. They could not just recharge the system, so they had to evacuate and refill which cost 192.00 but I did get 10% military discount. They seem honest and above board to me.

Very nice service. The gentleman that signed me in, saved me over $40 on a service I didn’t need. Most would have not said anything and charged for the unneeded service! These guys are top notch!

I was called and informed of the services (I had a list of what I knew was wrong and gave it) and I was later texted to call. I was told about the additional work that was needed and informed that there was also repairs needed that their shop couldn’t provide (engine and body work). The next day, I called to check in and was told it would be ready by closing time. Later, I was sent pics of parts of my car with notes for additional work (brakes, cabin filter, etc.) but was not asked if I wanted them to perform the work or not. It was strange. I was texted a few hours later that the next day that I could pick it up.They did the work, it was just not customer friendly.

Always a good and easy experience. All their prices for repairs are cheap and are done in a reasonable time. Never had a problem with them. They will tell you all the problems with your car without trying to upsell or get money for you.

East Coast has taken care of my Mercury Montego since we retired to Tybee in 2009. The car had about 90,000 miles and now has nearly 190,000. My A/C stopped working recently and I brought it in. Their diagnosis was that all a/c components needed replacing. Fortunately, we had only replaced the compressor once in the car’s life in 2011. No other cost. While the $1,900 for an entire new a/c system including labor was not a joyous occasion, it was needed since we plan to keep the car a while longer as a backup car for a planned new car. A/c is a fact of life in south GA and the Montego has been a VERY reliable car for its 14 year life thus far. Only worth $950 in trade in!I would describe the East Coast operation as reliable, professional, and moderately expensive. But, at 78 years old I have learned that you get what you pay for. It has been a fair exchange with them over the years.

Take your car to an honest company. I understand that auto shops need to make money, but 600 for one after market strut is just ridiculous. They keep their labor prices low and charge insane prices for parts, also they will suggest unnecessary repairs. Dont be fooled. Before you let them repair your car, just Google the cost of the part or even shop around locally. Even OEM parts are less. I understand that parts mark ups are normal, but 300 percent is just messed up.

East Coast has been servicing my car since I moved here two years ago. They are trustworthy and reliable. I love their new inspection service - so thorough and even includes pictures!

As two women that broke down on a road trip the people here were extremely kind, skilled, and helped with everything. We could not be more pleased!

I locked my keys in my trunk on a Sunday night. They came quickly, unlocked my car, and were Extremely reasonably priced! When I said i thought i would be charged over $100 for this being on a Sunday the man said we believe in helping people not ripping them off. He was very polite and gave great customer service ...even refused a tip. I will definitely do business with them again.

Customer service is Awesome!! I love that I dont have to make an appointment for an oil change, but you do have to get there early enough for walk in service. And they are quick. Ive never waited longer than 30 mins for an oil change.

I had a nail or something puncture my tire.Once I managed to get my tire to them they had it plugged in less then 10 minutes.They only charged me $15.00

I had to take my car there on several different occasions and leave it for days to a week at a time. Each time I removed my sunglasses from my car. However, the very last time I had to have it towed (again) because it was having the same issue that I took it there for originally, it was after hours and in the process of filling out the info to leave my key in the drop box, ect, I forgot to remove my sunglasses. When my car was picked up, not only did someone take my Costas (including the case for them), but a second set of glasses that happened to be in the Costa case. I called the manager at the Wilmington Island location and he assured me that none of his employees would have stolen anything and gave me an excuse stating that my car was towed to their other location off of Victory Drive and that is not a very good area and a random person (not his staff) must have gone inside my vehicle and took them. He told me that he would speak to the owner and I have never heard back either way. Regardless, it is negligence on their part. So, basically he’s saying that they left my car unlocked while in their possession? I find it hard to believe that a random person is going to come on their property during operating hours and open my car to go through it and not only take the glasses (which were in the overhead compartment), but the case for the glasses (which was in the middle compartment). They would be trying to get in and out as fast as possible. And if that’s the case, why is my car left unlocked while in their possession during and/or after hours when they are not actively working on it? Again, negligence on their part either way. I have done a lot of business with this place prior to this and this whole thing puts a bad taste in my mouth. I am disappointed that the owner did not even make an effort to contact me to find out what happened, give me an update, ect.

If you have been told you need something by another service and you dont really need it, they will let you know. I have had major repairs on my Silverado at this business. They do an excellent job and do it in a timely manner. One time they fixed a broken door handle while the truck was getting other work done. They did not charge me to repair the door nob, including the cost of the part. Another time they repaired the hood latch for free. On a a third occasion, they installed for free windshield wipers i had bought at Walmart.

Had the tie rod ends replace and oil changed, the car steering was better. But the protective pan under the car fell halfway off within 10-miles broke in half and made a hell of a noise while on the road. I brought it back they zip tie the remaining piece and said your good to go. I just looked at them and said really... the next day the 2nd half that was zip tied fell down, didnt even bother going back. really makes me wonder about the rest of their work. Will not be going back.

Had my Starter go out on my truck while on vacation on Tybee Island. I had my vehicle towed to their location.I was told it would take 6 hrs to complete and they would get to it after lunch. $900.00 later I had a new starter! I was told it took 6 hrs. Once I got back home, I spoke with several reputable shops, including 2 dealerships, and all said it could have been done in lesser time. If you are from out of town I would go else where.

After moving to Tybee four years ago started going to East Coast for regular maintenance on my 1999 Lexus RX 300. Eric, Billy, Michael and the crew just replaced the “knock sensors” and saved me the cost of a transmission rebuild. Just turned 240,000 miles and with the diligence and expertise of East Coast hope to add another 100,000. Can’t say enough good about them!🙏😀🏖

By far the worst shop in all of the land. Went there to get my truck looked at because of misfire. The “said” they replaced my spark plug and my motor was not holding compression. Took it for a second opinion and the guy pulled the spark plug to see that it hadn’t been changed when I was charged for it be. He checked the compression in which I did have it. These people are crooks and I wouldn’t let them change my oil. STAY AWAY from this overpriced sloppy work crooks. They also left test light connected under my hood.
