I went to this Dollar General late last night around nine to buy my baby some vanilla milk I bought the silk milk and some soda and maybe another item I bought them with a gift card I remember complaining to the lady about not having a glade plug-in that was less than five dollars but the milk that I bought was all spoil so today I called the store I talk to the assistant manager she told me that they have a policy where they can’t refund any money back for grocery items unless I have a receipt I told her that I got paid for with the gift card and I said no way you can pull up with using the gift card she basically told me they had to talk to the store manager I told her that that is for customer service and they need to do better because there’s no way that milk should be that rotten and no one knows it that means that the meat and other items in those coolers are just as bad I can get someone else sick because the almond milk show the expiration date of 1115 or 1111 but anyway I will not be Buying any items like that again it will only be maybe tissue but Giving my experience I may never go back in that store

Every store that I go to there is only one associate working and thats not supposed to be because thats dangerous. The one I went to on yesterday there was no one working in the store and because of that people was just walking out with the stuff. The whole time I am just steady shopping to the point that another manager from another store came in to shut the store down. So I couldnt even check out. They have been like this for years. They need to do better.

The staff is always great but the line is always terrible. I try to go on my lunch break but I always end up late coming back. Some customers just walk out and you can tell they are on their lunch break because of their uniforms and how quickly they try to get in and out.

This place is never open on time. Its interesting how such a major store can open as they please with no accountability to adhere to the posted times. I only go in here if its my last resort... needs a new manager HORRIBLE. I would close before I let the current manager reflect my business

I love the dollar store. It has just about everything you need for really good prices most of the time

It seems that most Dollar Generals on the Southside could use some extensive cleaning. The shelves barely have anything on them. I had not been there in a while. I wont return anytime soon

A very nice store that is centrally located in the the city. It is less than a grocery store, but far more than a corner convenience store. It does not have a pharmacy, but does have a large collection of over the counter products. Its dairy selection is also plentiful.

There is a guy that works the most of the nights now and he really moves the line and always nice.

Never have anything in stock there store is alwYs empty looking

Staff was very nice and knowledgeable about their current on hand inventory. As a former retail associate, that was impressive. Most stores you go in the employees cant tell you if they have something in stock or not. These guys arent those employees, they know it all. 👍

If your looking for inexpensive junk food chocolate candy, cookies, crackers, etc. This is the place.

The two girls that work at this store are wonderful! They keep everything stocked and clean and are helpful and friendly. This is the best dollar general in sav.

This particular store was always in disarray. Something happened, under new management, I dont know but now its wonderful fully stocked, clean and not clutter. Great job you guys!!

The store had piles of junk in the aisles that needed to be shelved. Products were not where they were suppose to be. The floor was a grimy black dirty especially the corners. Service was very very slow. Staff seemed to just make the motions

Im always coming here. The store was recently remodel! It looks great. very organized and clean. Friendly people work here! They are always nice to me.

Store is nice and neat, things are easy to find. Line was very long but help came quickly and the two cashiers got the line down in less than five mins. Awesome store!

This store was very well kept and wonderfully clean. The store manager is a totally different story!!!!!! I was in this store three times in one day! I witnessed he be very nasty to one customer who only asked a simple question. She was very rude and nonchalant to my husband who also asked a question about Lysol. The third time I went in the store about three to four hours later, there was a young man who worked for the Pepsi corporation in the store. He was unloading merchandise and walked to the back of the store where the store manager and I were. He asked where the restroom was. To which the manager replied “ it’s outta orda” she never once looked at the guy. So he asks “you serious???” She says “yeah Um serious! I ain’t playing. You can go to subway and ask dem if you can use they bathroom but this one outta orda!”Like who in their right mind speaks to customers like dirt?! If we don’t come there you won’t have a job!!!!!!!

It’s past 10am on a Saturday morning and thislocation is CLOSED. Along with the Apache Ave. location. Very inconvenient for customers who are trying to shop.

This is one of my favorite Dollar General locations staff is usually helpful and friendly and always available store is pretty clean but most importantly theres always plenty of parking and easy access from the main roads surrounding it! Who doesnt love Dollar General for their low prices and great deals!

Affordable I call these the poor mans Walmart highly recommend

I love this location because the people who work here always greet me and ask how my family is. DeJon is a sweet heart!!! Only problem I have with this store is they only have one person on the register at any time and the lines can back up. But other than that Its pretty gravy.

Cashier did not bad an eye when I entered. Store was low on a lot of stock and, in disarray. On appearance, it seems there is no one in charge who cares about the condition of the store or greeting customers etc. Needs some attention and improvement.

All Dollar Generals are supposed to be open until 10:00 and every time I go to this when they close early. This is the third Time I went there at 9:30 and they were closed

Fairly Clean store but was not a hospitable or pleasant visit. The staff was about as friendly as a brillo pad on freshly sun burnt skin. I dont think they spoke a word to me even though I asked questions pertaining to some things on sale.I wont find a need to stop here again. The are plenty of other options where I know my business or I mean arent ones business would be far more appreciated. Skip this one. Find some where else.

Ive NEVER been to such a clean and organized Dollar General! I was so impressed and actually shopped around instead of trying to get away from the chaos and dirt most Dollar General stores have.

We pulled up at this location at 9:45pm and my husband walked up to the store as the doors were locked so he came back to the car I looked at my watch add it was 9:47 So Im like no they close at 10:00pm so I told him to knock on the door, sho another customer pulled up as she gets out and walks up to the door next to my husband, so I called inside the store and the lady said we lock the doors at 9:50, I told her no because weve been out here since 9:45 so come open this door and she did with her rude talking ass. I was trying to refill a card, as was just arriving in Savannah as it could only be loaded at a Dollar General.

Quick stop but no greeting upon enter or come again upon leaving; not a big selection of drinks. They did have an awesome sale on coke products (what was there)

When you need something cheap and quick this is the place .

I waz at this location on november 1 at 540 in line when a young man walked in an the lady behind the counter waz being rude to him ...come to find out he waz a new employee that just started there ...so he didnt say anything an walked away ...well the lady behind the counter continued to tell all of us in line about how rude he waz disrespectful ..an i didnt see no disrespect from him. really that. Should have been behind closed doors away from us customers.. She is very nasty an said she cant wait to leave this job she hates this job .but this is not the first time with this lady she is always rude does not greet me when i walk in the door ..i asked her when i waz checking out are you ok cause she looked pist at the world. She said im ok thats just how i look ..no smile no conversation nothing just nasty..... i will not return to this location
