I recently bought a 2021 Land Rover Evoque here and had a fantastic experience from the sales to finance process. Buying a motor vehicle should not be something that you approach with fear and trepidation. After dealing with a horrible experience at Landrover Bedford, NH service department, I was extremely appreciative of Landrover Scarborough’s professionalism…specifically with DAN BABB. What we dealt with at Bedford Landrover is too long to explain in detail. But our car broke down in Maine whilst on vacation (after being serviced improperly in Bedford 5 days prior). Lucky for us, it was towed to the Scarborough location. Dan Babb was EXTREMELY helpful in that he actually cared about our situation and did an amazing job making sure the problem was resolved correctly. I inquired about a lease special they currently have and, conveniently, that specific Range Rover Velar was no longer available. I’m not sure if I am going to purchase or lease so that wasn’t really an issue as they had a close match to what I am looking for on their lot. However, I was then told that since I am in NY, they won’t sell to me (purchase or lease) because I am outside of their “market area.” I literally emailed back to confirm that what the sales person said was true and they would not sell me a car-he confirmed it was true. I have never heard of such a thing. The sales person I dealt with was extremely short and rude, also. They were not willing to discuss anything unless I came into the dealer which is strange consider Covid. If I were to come tomorrow with cash, they wouldn’t sell me a car. I will gladly take my business elsewhere.

Pleasant experience as always, very professional, I enjoy going there for service and I live about 100 miles away. I received a loaner which was very convenient, though the appointment didnt take very long for the annual service. I will always bring my Range Rover Sport SC here for service.

Overall bad experience in trying to purchase a Range Rover. After two months of trying to work with them I gave up, found the exact brand new Range Rover I wanted and purchased it out of state. Everything was done remotely, no hassle and easy delivery to my home. If you are having a tough time with them, recommend looking through the main Land Rover website and search through their inventory. Buying out of state was easy.

I have changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars as a result of their efforts.*****Travelling through Maine, and I tried several times to schedule service for my 2004 Discovery and was hung up on or phones just rang until they were disconnected. Tried for 20 minutes. I guess this place doesnt need any business?? I got as far as introducing myself and saying I have a LR D2 and that was the extent of it.My dealership in Scottsdale Arizona would never do that!If you have a communications hardware problem, please fix it. If you have a personnel problem, please fix it.Very disappointed.

Haven’t had service like this since I lived in Cali where dealerships had to compete for your service (Jaguar, LR, BMW, Audi, Mercedes). Maine’s different as there is only one dealership in the area for these brands. They are good people and their service is the best I’ve received since moving back.

The entire experience was great. Called Debbie at 12:21PM on May 25. We spoke about a vehicle on the website. We talked about one vehicle that I was very interested in and that my wife and I would be over within the hour to look at it. I am very happy with my Range Rover Evoque. Recently had a schedule oil change/maintenance check along with needing a sticker. I was provided with a vehicle to use when my car was being serviced which was very much appreciated. I received a call updating me when my car would be finished. During this call I was informed that my car needed new windshield wipers and that they replaced them because I couldnt get a sticker without them. This was done without my permission and felt before adding this to my bill I should have been contacted to approve the cost. The wipers cost $82 which was something I hadnt allowed for. My car came back to me washed, vacuumed and looked great.

Since we started having them service our Range Rover, we have experienced a very helpful and professional staff. I will plan to buy our next vehicle from them because of the great and reasonable service . Thank you, Charlie

Just got gutted $400 for an oil change and air in the tires, total scam. I was going to trade out the XJ here this summer but not a chance now. You need ethics to earn my dollar.

Excellent experience. The true definition of service from a service department. Prompt return calls updating me on the status of the warrantied repair on my vehicle and delivery to my door when it was complete.

Bought a range rover yesterday. Paul in sales is the only reason Im not giving a 1 star review. Terrible customer service from manager and finance manager; no respect, no thank you for your business, not even a hand shake. Doesnt seem like they are interested in actually closing deals and building any customer loyalty. Entire experience was rather bizarre.

Prompt service; very knowledgeable and anxious to help with teaching me the technology in my 2018 Range Rover. I recommend the team at Land Rover Scarborough highly!

Dislike this place very much. It has nothing to do with sales but the service department is lacking. The manager only helped when seriously pressed. Our car need a part and it was going to cost $1800 used. I said that was ridiculous and he said, Its a Range Rover. Didnt even look up our account until we were pissed then finally noticed we had an extended warranty.

I book my appointment by email, show up and they take me right in every time. It takes a little bit of time but they check everything and so I feel confident my car is safe to drive and as a bonus its clean when I leave.
