Nick is an unusually competent and accommodating service manager. Ive owned Mercedes-Benz automobiles since 1975 and have experienced service from dealerships across the country; Nick is unique and ends up being the face of Mercedes Benz corporation for us, like all the other service agents in the Mercedes-Benz dealer network are for all the other customers. Bad service can and does ruin the experience of owning one of these machines. Hopefully Prime Motor Cars realizes his value - he is the main reason we bought our C Class from Prime a year ago, and the only reason we bring our cars to Prime Motor Cars for service. Always explains any issues, always willing to listen and try to meet our schedule. Cant say enough about how helpful Nick has been, and besides all that hes a nice guy.

One of the best car buying experiences I have had!! The sales reps were so kind and accommodating. There was never a pressure to buy anything. The dealership was very clean and even had a nice waiting area for my kiddos to hang out at and watch a kid friendly movie while the sale was processed!! Typically I have great experiences with prime, but this time was the opposite. My car went in to have the fan for the heat/ac fixed. They also told me I needed new tires (the car is one year old, purchased from them, 12k miles, and recently inspected with no issues on the tires) which means they sold me a car with bad tires.Additionally I asked for the prime protect service to be run. I was sold this by being told it would remove the pitch from my car. Come to find out that was false, and would only fix the damage the pitch does to the paint.I had also asked for a trade in value of the car. Not only did this take two days for me to get, but they ding me for the tires, which only have 12k miles on them, but they said the paint was bad - something that would be fixed with the prime protect i purchased from them. So they gave me fair value for a car which is in excellent condition, minus the ac/heat fan.They are also supposed to clean my car after servicing it. It doesn’t look vacuumed, nor was the dash wiped down and is still covered with dust. I am not impressed with me experience this time.
My experience with prime motors is years long. But I never take the way they treat their customers for granted. Had my 2018 MB in for standard 40k service. Mohammed was attentive and great to talk to. He asked if I would be interested in a discounted prepaid service plan in a balanced non pressure manner. We went through the math and it made sense to purchase. As for the service itself, no issues with the service team and was done in a timely manner.

I have owned a BMW or a Mercedes for the last 25 years so I’m familiar with the service standards usually set by these dealerships. This was the first time working with Prime and was hands down, the worst service experience I have ever had with a vehicle. They had my car for 6 days (Monday 8AM until Saturday at 3PM) before they finally, “diagnosed” it and still hadn’t fixed it. The “diagnosis” wasn’t even for what was wrong with the car. (A problem they told me on two separate occasions they couldn’t replicate and even suggested it was my imagination.) When I went on the 6th day to take it back, no one knew what was going on, where it was on the lot, or why they had kept it for so long without apology or explanation. The advisor assigned to my car was sarcastic (said to me, “I don’t know what you want me to tell you? I wish I had a better worse answer for you.”) and only communicated when I left a message insisting to know the status of my car.There was something splattered over the entire exterior of the car that took 3 car washes to completely remove. The guy at the car wash said it looked like grease.When I emailed the dealership manager with the details of my terrible experience and a request to know why my vehicle was held for so long, he responded saying that he would look into it and get back to me. That was the last I heard from him.The BEST part is that I took it somewhere else and they figured out what was wrong with it in 20 minutes. A problem that left unattended would have ruined the motor.
Roger sold me my new sprinter for my business. No pressure, professional and honest. Paperwork was prepared and executed with precision by the finance department and I was given a tour of my vehicle which is not always done by dealers today. FYI, I have bought nearly 40 vehicles in my lifetime. Well done!

No one could help me today. They only have 2 people that are capable of showing Sprinters and they were both with customers. I know it takes a lot of knowledge to turn the key to unlock the doors. Salesperson even asked the managers about someone else helping and they told me to make an appointment. Guess they are selling enough vehicles and dont need my business.

The experience was not good. When an appointment is made to replace my airbag, the understanding is the job will be done before end of day. They asked me when I arrived if I was leaving the car overnight. I had to insist I get the car back before end of day. I asked for a shuttle ride at 2pm to an elderly relative’s house to do errands, at the end of the day I asked for a ride back to the dealership. I was informed shuttles end at 3pm (even though service dept is open until 5pm) and I was going to have to figure it out for myself. After much insistence and hassle they gave me a ride back. For a Mercedes dealership, where a premium price is paid for the car and service, accommodation to the customers is secondary. They seem easily inconvenienced by their customers.

At Prime in Scarborough, Maine, I had the worst experience with a Mercedes dealership or any other dealership in my life. I was interested to buy the new 2021 S580 model, I contact Spencer Roe and he told me the car is available . I was waiting for him to provide me the price on the car. After 2 days with no answer from Spencer I send another email to him to check if he have the price on the car. Next day he send me email with excuse I am sorry for the delayed I will send you shortly . I was wait another 2 days and after that I send email to him I am not interested to work with his dealership anymore because they are not responsible . I just want to say : You guys lose a customer who want to spend on the car 130k . Thank you for the horrible service !!! This dealership is a disgrace. If I have option I will give you negative one star is too much !!!

I needed a little adjustment to the hood of our RV and called for an appointment. Upon arrival I had asked if possible to get an inspection sticker do e while here. I had noticed is was overdue by a month. The brought the RV into the shop, and checked about the sticker getting done . Moments later the Service manager came and said they would take it in as soon as possible. There was a slight delay, due to all tech’s were already busy. They got the job done in short time, and I on my way again. I find the personal are friendly and thoughtful to the customers needs. It has been a pleasure working with them and will only take our RV there for any work on the Mercedes vehicle. They are top notch.

Nicholas was flawless in handling a difficult situation. My house guest’s GLC300 warning light came on. It was Saturday and she lives in FL. When she called for an appointment, the receptionist relayed the info she had; no appointment today or next week and no loaner. I’m a customer so I called back and she suggested I talk to Nicolas. He was understaffed and would have squared her in on Saturday. We agreed on 10 AM Monday. We brought the vehicle in together. Nicholas made contact and within a short time completed the service.It may seem routine but my guest recently lost her husband and was very nervous and anxious about the car and how it was to be resolved. Juggling jobs and customers during these COVID times isn’t easy. So I appreciate the accommodations and service. And my guest is very happy.

When I first arrived, I was brought right in. Have a seat, your Service Writer will be right with you. Sam came over, introduced himself and we talked about my car and why I was there.I had received a call Tuesday morning from Prime, the gal asked me for the VIN to make sure they had the correct part. Yes, we have it here in stock. See you tomorrow.Sam asked if I was waiting and I said yes. No mention of a loaner during any of my conversations with Prime. Off he went.I sat in the waiting area over 3 hours with not a peep from Sam. I finally went up to Reception and inquired about my car. She went to find Sam. Another 20 min went by nothing. Sam came out to speak to a couple that had recently arrived. He did not acknowledge me so I went over to him when he was walking away. I inqiired about my car. He said he would find out. A few minutes later he motioned me into his office.He turned the screen toward me and started to explain what the technician found. I looked at him and asked if strut had been replaced. No, it hasnt. We need to order the part. I let him know, again, the gal called me and the part was here for my car. He asked who called me. I didnt get her name, maybe someone in Parts Dept. As for the work that needs to be done, I had this list from my mechanic that went over the entire vehicle when I purchased it a few weeks prior. Hence, why I made the appt.Lack of communication, miscommunication. Yes it happens. But now at the 4 hour mark, my car had been sitting right outside the window where I was waiting. How long? Who knows. Then to be charged $171.00 plus tax for a list of what was needed and a car wash. I was not impressed.

Just purchased my new 2021 250 CLA this past week from Prime Motor Cars, and I couldn’t be happier with the services and the professionalism I have been welcomed with. I only went to test drive the car but I ended up leaving home with it a few hours later.Robert, the manager was very welcoming and introduces us to the sales person, Sam, who made the purchasing process seem smooth and made sure that we got what we wanted and that we’re leaving the dealership happy. So I live in the Ellsworth, Maine area and had learned for the service B on my e350 wagon it should really go to Scarborough and Prime even though being 2.5 hours away from a closer dealer.Wow, I am glad I did. Mohammed Fakory was my Service Manager for the day. Kind, professional and took time to explain to me a few things that were going on with my wagon. He was sincere in his approach, extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles he leads the service of.He seems to take to the time to get to know his client and matches their needs and style to his service. I was visiting family in Maine from North Carolina and my check engine light came on in my Mercedes CLS550. This happened on a Friday afternoon and I was needing to driving back home to NC that Sunday. The service center was fully booked through the weekend, but Adam made sure I was taken care of! I brought my car in on that Friday and it was fixed by Saturday morning without interruption to my travel plans. Adam and the technician who worked on my car had the repairs done that Friday evening by staying late to ensure I was cared for! Adam called and shared the good news relieving the stress of car issues and a 13 hour drive ahead of me. I appreciate the care for my situation and service I received. The technician who did the repairs ensured I made it the drive back to NC safely. Adam called today to make sure I got home to NC and to follow up on the repairs. The quality, service, and accommodation demonstrates the care for customers, reliability, and drive to exceed expectations! Thank you Adam, the technician, and Prime Motor Cars. You all went above and beyond and if I lived in Maine I would always have my car serviced with you and would want to purchase my next vehicle from your dealership because of my experience.

They kept my car for eight days, while it sat there and thought I had the luxury of using one of their large SUVs which I chose to park in my driveway while I waited for my car. They had to order parts, then they had difficulty getting reimbursed from the insurance company. They overcharged me for things I didn’t even want. Instead I had to pay, they admitted they charge more than other places but they pay their workers well, that’s their story. When I got my Visa statement, I was not an additional $24 for who knows what. I specifically asked him not to give me A sticker as it was not even due. But they did anyway. They charged me $145 for an oil change, then another $50 for disposing of the oil and filter. I generally pay $70 for that at the VIIP. And that’s using their best synthetic oil. I asked them to find anything that might be wrong with the car and they charge me $170 for that. I had an appointment for 8:30, which is when I showed up but they did not look at the car till after 2 o’clock. They did not value my time and overcharged me, I definitely won’t be back.👎🏻

I just took my car in for its first annual service since I purchased it and couldnt have been more disappointed. While I understand that there are busy times, and figured since I had an appointment I would have been in and out in short order since I was just dropping off for maintenance. I had to wait an hour...just to drop off the car. I never received a call to tell me the car was done...and when I did call, I never received a call back. I had to call again just to make sure I could pick up the car before they closed...only to find out the work wasnt completed because their 3rd party vendor didnt show up. I understand things come up and everyone is busy, but please, if your customers have appointments, make sure they are prioritized before people who just show up or are early. Respect that others have busy lives too and keep the condescending tone in check as its not appreciated.
I purchased a used Airstream from Prime Motors Scarborough. I have worked with Scott Joys regarding warranty issues, regular maintenance, and most recently a recall regarding emissions. Scott is always on top of everything. He has followed through and communicated on all aspects and it has been a pleasure work with him.Andy W.
Another successful visit to the Prime Mercedes Service Department. Scott Joys and the Service Team did an excellent job from start to finish.The service is second to none.
Our appointment was for our Airstream Interstate camper. The problem was a restricted hot water system with very low flow. Primary suspect was the H/W mixing valve was clogged (this turned out to be true). However, the required part was not available (on back-order from Airstream), so they werent able to complete that repair. I drove 105 miles each way to bring the camper there and had to stay overnight, so I was quite disappointed about that. Knowing the part wasnt available, I wish they would have rescheduled the appointment for when theyd be sure to be able to complete the repair.The other work was to complete the Mercedes emissions factory recall, and they did a very good job with that (as far as I can tell). I hadnt been aware of that, and Scott explained the whole thing to me when we made the service appointment. I was very happy with how they handled that. Plus we got a software update that improved some of the dash display features, and a nice clean freshly washed vehicle.
Prime Motor Cars has performed warranty and no warranty work on my Mercedes Sprinter. Their work is superb and they always explain what the service entails. Scott, the service manager, goes out of his way to make sure the vehicle’s service is completed in a timely manner.
As always, this dealership has excellent communication and courtesy, and this was consistently evident with other clients that I saw in the waiting room .
Drove 40 miles and then waited an hour even with an appointment to get an appraisal on selling my 2016 Mercedes E-Class. I was then presented with an offer less than half of NADA wholesale. The car was in very good shape but not perfect by any means. I have bought and sold dozens of cars over the years and never been so thoroughly insulted. Tony was very pleasant and professional however.
Bob got me exactly the car I wanted as a special order in less than two months. The ordering, the pick-up and delivery were all seamless. He was a joy to work with as is, as always, Prime Motor.
Would definitely recommend to anyone who owns a Mercedes to go here for service. Came in just for a simple oil change and left with a full 40,000 mile service for free. They could have just charged me for an oil change and let me go but they went above and beyond letting me know that the previous owner had 1 service left on it and that they would take care of everything. Mind you I didn’t even buy my car here or at a Mercedes dealer. That to me shows they truly care for you and your experience with them. Will definitely come back for future service and purchases.

At Prime in Scarborough, Maine, I had the worst experience with a Mercedes dealership in my life. I made a service appointment to replace a tire sensor and a State inspection. I was given an 8 a.m. appointment for July 14. I dropped the car off the night before. Today, July 14, I called three times before noon To see when my car would be ready. Each time they said I had to talk with Nick, my service advisor but he was busy. I left my number, no call back from service director. Then on my fourth call, I said I just want my car back. Then I got a call back from Nick at 12.02. He apologized and said my car would be ready around 1:30. I said I will get there a little after 1 and wait. At 1:30 I asked to see Nick. Then a man came out and said we will soon get your car done. I asked for my car. I got my car at 1:40 and they had dine nothing to it. This dealership is a disgrace.
Mohammed in service is very informative and everything gets done in a timely manner. He also removes my toddlers car seat and puts it in the loaner, which is very helpful. Thanks for making service appointments go so smoothly.
This is an exceptionally well organized Mercedes dealer. I found a C300 Cab I liked on the CarGurus website, and worked with master sales person Mark Watson to get a good deal on it. I flew up to Maine, drove it, loved it and ninety well orchestrated minutes later drove it home. Despite their being nearly 800 miles from home, will buy more cars from them. Professional outfit!

They would’ve gotten a higher score but I DID NOT like being informed via email as to all that my vehicle needed and then that was how i was supposed to pick what I wanted to do without speaking to someone.I have no problem with technology. But when the work would’ve totaled up to $11,000.00 in repairs (estimated) I really think I should be speaking with a person who can answer questions.On the upside the work was done in a very timely manner which is greatly appreciated due to it being a work vehicle.Scott apologized for the electronic response.Hopefully they learn from this and call beforehand, tell me an email is coming and then we will discuss.
Car turned out fine, was told it was a quick procedure but I was there over 2 hrs.if I had known it was going to be that long I would have made different arrangements..
