I gave them 5 stars earlier. Reduced to 2 now, as there is a lot of wait to even ask the questions or to make the payment. I think they need more people in the store to help the customer out as promptly as possible.

I had the most pleasant experience shopping for paint color then I had in years thanks to Jenn. It is nice to see someone so knowledgeable and enjoys her job. she is an asset and wonderful assistant manager. Thank you Jenn!

Highly recommend Jen over at the Schaumburg location. All the employees at that location are great but Jen goes above and beyond to assist in any questions I have or any problems. I’ve never been disappointed while being in that store. The customer service is amazing there. I make sure to always order my paint from there since they’re so friendly and accommodating. Been buying my paint here the last few years and it’s always a pleasant experience. The staff is very helpful and they always try to give me the best price. The paint is not cheap but top quality. It goes on like butter and the pigments are great. Even my contractor, who normally buys SW, commented several times how much he liked the paint and even the primer. I’ll continue purchasing from this store for my home projects.

Jen at the Schaumburg location is truly a paint expert. Jen helped me with a project about 5 years ago where I was looking for a metallic finish and she knew exactly how to guide me the right direction and special ordered the perfect paint for me. 5 years later, I am looking to do a similar project and this woman remembered me and my project and was able to guide me again. Highly recommend seeking her out for unique or specialty paint needs, girl knows her stuff and is super thorough and accommodating.

I want to recognize Marlon and Armando for the EXCELLENT, OUTSTANDING Customer service that I received from them today!I went to JC Licht to purchase paint for my kitchen cabinet. I was having a hard time picking colors. Marlon greeted me and was hands on to provide guidance and direction. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions and concerns.I bought the paint home and realized that my colors were off, therefore, drove back to the store to see if he could darken it...but, I spilled the paint all over the floor and myself as I walked in to the store! Aww!!!!Armando immediately rushed in and gave me towels to wipe myself and showed me the bathroom to cleanup while he cleaned up the mess that I made. Anybody would be irritated by my error, but, instead, he was very reassuring and nice about it. He didnt make a fuss nor had an attitude. He told me that mistakes happen and am glad that im ok.In the meantime, Marlon told me that he would re-make my paint. WOW! I was blown away by their behavior and gestures! You would think that if somebody made a paint mess and then wanting to change the paint color, the employees would be irate, but, instead, they were so classy about the whole thing. I was truly impressed with how they handled this messy situation. I have total RESPECT for Marlon and Armando as individuals. Their attitude and behavior are something that all employees should modeled after.I highly recommend JC Licht store in Schaumburg to everybody as not only do they sell excellent Benjamin Moore paint, they also provide Excellent and Quality Customer Service! I praise them for their professionalism and treatment of customers!PS: i went home happily with my new set of paints and now my kitchen looks like a million bucks!

During that time, I would be hard pressed to find a more complete staff, that is both knowledgeable & customer friendly than here at this location ( roselle/ wise)Marlon is the Manager, & his natural calm demeanor instantly relieves any anxiety that comes with a homeowner buying paint or choosing colors. I can say that, because I have seen it in person.Jens knowledge of all the Benjamin Moore products is beyond impressive, she has answered every question correctly, & her color matching skills are on point never a worry.Greg is like a walking encyclopedia on both Benjamin Moore products, & painting in general. I know that I can come in with a custom color, & in no time he has matched it, PERFECTLY !!From top to bottom, the staff at this store is the absolute BEST !! I’ve been coming to the JC Licht Benjamin Moore store in Schaumburg for a few years and they have always been amazing, but my most recent experience really went above and beyond.My husband and I are selling our house and needed to patch the walls the previous owners had (very poorly) painted. After two failed attempts with paint the previous owners had left us, and a disastrous experience at Home Depot, I arrived at the Benjamin Moore store pretty close to desperate. This was my last try. If this didn’t work, I would have had to repaint three rooms in my house that all used this same color. I showed them my swatch and said “I trust you guys” and they came through for me. The color matched perfectly.10/10, highly recommend, best paint, and knowledgeable, kind, helpful, and honest staff!

Standard paint store with benjamin moore exclusive brands. Lack of floor staff during the afternoon convinced me to go elsewhere.

Such a negative experience. Stopped by to buy paint and the guy working here was super rude. Told me he couldn’t help me and it would be 15mins+ because he didn’t know where “the other guy” was. Zero interest in even asking me what I needed. I’m an artist and I buy paint often. Why I prefer Home Depot because they are so incredible helpful there! Only reason I even went to this location is because it’s near my house and my client used Benjamin Moore paint which I needed for touch ups. Needless to say, I went to another location. 😐

I have always had nothing but satisfaction dealing with a gentleman in this store they always have my order ready when I call ahead of time and when I just walk in with an order they are quick to fill it. Also if I have any questions about any products or any projects that we are doing they always have the answers and they always recommend the right product. I will continue doing business with this establishment as long as I am in business. I cant say enough about how well this store is run

Excellent experience working with Joe and the rest! Ive followed Joe in his move from other stores because he is the most knowledgeable person on paint and paint products I have ever met! And I have worked with others, Pittsburgh Paints, Sherman Williams, Home Depot. I keep coming back to J C Licht and Joe at the Schaumburg store, even when its out of my way!!

I have been dealing with JC Licht Schaumburg for over 20 years, and have always had a friendly and knowledgeable experience there, I usually frequent the store at least 4 times a week. Joe, Marlon, and Greg are extremely helpful when I have questions as products change to suit the industry. This will always be my store.

The chain of these stores, years ago, use to be good place to buy Benjamin Moore paints. Unfortunately not anymore. The changes took place few years ago and its getting worse and worse. Now its comparable to car dealership. No, I wouldnt recommend it.

I wanted to thank Armando for his great job in matching 2 difficult colors for our striped foyer in our house. I initially tried HD and they could not match the color so they suggested JC Licht, and even though the paint color is over 10 years old, Armando did an awesome job getting the shine and color to be exactly spot on.

Not recommended. Small painting contractors will never get any special treatment at their store (not how it use to be years ago, under previous ownership). They never notify painting contractors in advance (how they use to do it, years ago) about their price increases coming up. Benjamin Moore paint (except prices for some of the paints)-yes, maybe.This company-not anymore.This paint stores chain went down the hill during the last few years.

As the owner of one of Chicagos busiest painting companies, its my duty to create and maintain quality relationships with my paint vendors. This store will never get our business. We have tried many times to buy products from them and it seems that the people who work here have had special training to make customers feel unwelcome and belittled. One woman planned her daughters graduation party on the phone while I stared here down from across the counter, never once acknowledging my presence, that was a 60 gallon order they lost to my number one vendor Sherwin Williams, who has gone out of their way consistently to serve me and my customers. Sherwin products are now superior to Benjamin Moore, I know this because we apply more than 1800 gallons of interior paint per month. There is no reason for us to ever consider doing business with them.
