Bought a queen mattress from here in April and a couple of months later i found mold growing on the back so they replaced it with a new one not even 2 months later this mattress started to grow mold I called and they told me we did a one time exchange only for the first mattress and said there was nothing they could do for the second mattress that also grew mold.I 400 dollars the mattress should have lasted more then 2 months i have never had a mattress grow mold before. I will not buy another mattress from this place

Ive been a fan of Rich Olender since he once had his own mattress store in Schenectady. He knows mattresses! I would go nowhere else for info or the purchase of a mattress or mattress related accessories like mattress covers and pads.

Don was very helpful with finding the mattress I selected. He also worked incredibly hard to make sure my delivery was up to date, even with last minute adjustments.

Decided yesterday I was going to order a new mattress. It’s been years since I bought a new bed so I had no idea how to get it or where was the best to shop. I searched online and here popped up. I found a really affordable mattress (foam memory, soft, queen size) for $299. They had a coupon on their website for 25% off so I got it for $224!!!! Plus delivery right to my front door in less than 24 hours. only cost me total $350. Delivery men were professional & set it up for me. Even wore booties so they don’t get dirt on the carpet. Very happy customer!

Had a great experience with Tricia, my salesperson. She was helpful and guided me to the mattress I needed within my price range.On the day of delivery when the delivery truck was out of commission, I received regular communication throughout the day about changing estimates of delivery times, etc. When I finally got the mattress, the guys from the trucking company that delivered were very professional and polite. They apologized for their late delivery, and Mattress Firm refunded my delivery fee because it was so late. The whole experience with Mattress Firm, its people, and its delivery service was very positive. My first impression at Mattress Firm was with Tricia, a very helpful and knowledgeable sales lady who explained to me about the sale that was occurring, and allowed me to try out the various mattresses. I liked the way they had the mattresses organized from firm to soft, using color coding. They were also laid out in order, according to price. I was impressed enough to invite my sister, who came later in the evening with her husband. Tricia allowed them to leisurely try out several mattresses, giving helpful advice, and answering any questions they had. At times she would leave us alone for a few minutes so we could talk about things and not feel pressured. I would definitely recommend both Tricia and this store.

I do not typically write reviews, but I’m very surprised at how many positive reviews are on here and wanted to offer a different perspective. Perhaps I went in on a bad day. I had spent about a month doing research on different types of mattresses and the average price point of different options for both online and in person retailers. I was fairly sure I would pick a mattress I had found from an online retailer after reading many reviews and already having a good experience purchasing my kids’ mattresses from that brand. However, since Mattress Firm was advertising specials and sales, I figured I would visit the store and see if they had any good options. First, the sales man marched up to me with no introduction, just jumped right into asking me about what I wanted (fine, but not exactly welcoming customer service). After advising him of what I wanted and my price point, he marched me over to the “value zone” and told me I wouldn’t find what I wanted for my price. I advised that I was already looking at a highly rated mattress online, which met the criteria I was looking for. He asked what brand, then proceeded to scoff in my face, “I’ve never heard of it” and then YELL across the store to the other employee to ask if she had ever heard of it. I was ready to leave at that point. I advised him that it was in fact a reliable brand and that my kids both had mattresses from there. He then laughed and demanded to know what kind of warranty came with that product. At that point it became clear that he was less interested in earning my business and more interested in making it seem that I knew nothing and he knew everything. On my way out I learned that this sales person’s name was Marty. The other reviews on here offer him praises, so perhaps it was just an off day. But thanks to Marty I’ll be sure not to go back to that store.

My husband and i walked in and were immediately greeted by Tony who was so helpful and knowledgeable and helped us pick out the perfect mattress even though we were a bit of a challenge. He did not give up and gave us information every step of the way. We even got delivery the next day! These guys are awesome and REALLY know what they are doing, and they know their product.
