This particular store in Niskayuna is one of my go to stores. Its closer to work, and I can get whatever I need on my way home. The people there are nice, and the manager even asked me about one of my favorites...Oregon Chai tea mix. Wow...Thanks for asking!

Great produce section. Nice variety. Really good seafood selection. Store is very clean and organized. A little pricey on some things, but you get what you pay for.

Got what i needed. I was very glad it wasnt crowded. Meat selection hasnt been the best. Self Check out was fine. I got assistance from an employee and all was well.

Why their meat is better than other supermarket? Btw, they donate a lot of food to local food pantries. I moved boxes of food from their truck to people in need myself. No joke! it is everyweek. You do the right thing for people. We support you too and shop there too. Keep it up!

We love shopping at this Hannaford! The staff are very friendly and the selection is great. But most importantly the aisles are spacious and you never feel cramped or crowded here, even when there are lots of people shopping at the same time.

Not crowded, bright and clean, wide aisles, everything I had on my list was in stock, gentleman at cash register was very friendly and courteous

I dont know that I have ever rated a grocery store before, but they are handling current events much better than their competition. To start with, aisles are wider than some other places, so that is helpful. There is sanitizer available by the carts, employees are all wearing masks or at least face shields property and they are visibly cleaning regularly. Add to that the fact that they have a great selection including a lot of local products and Im happy to drive the extra 5 minutes to come here.

Neat condition, good customers, deals and variety of goods (except for hazelnuts, they rarely have them if ever).

Had everything I needed. Prices were fair. Easy to get to.

Staff masked up. There was sanitizer and a paper towels to clean cart handles in the doorway There was an unmasked woman walking against the arrows and a young couple deliberately walking against traffic in every row on purpose. Store people were notified; but nothing was done. Store was clean looking. You have to bag your own groceries. I did not know this until my groceries were being rung up. I have trouble bagging, and lifting the bags into the cart so it was difficult. Had I known I was going to have to bag my own, I would not have stood in the long cashier line; Id have gone to self checkout where there was no line. I did see a bagger bagging at the aisle next to me; but my cashier told me I had to do mine myself. I think the store should make announcement reminders about masks and not let people shop without them. The setup seemed safe; but the few people ignoring safety rules made me regret going out shopping after nearly a month (and three months before that) of staying home without buying perishables.

Always clean and well stocked. Be wary of some of the produce here as it can be hit or miss on freshness. Very friendly and helpful staff though. I choose going here over other nearby stores because its not so crazy and everything is well organized and kept.The seafood counter is great and fresh, and the deli country had some of the nicest staff. We get their salads often. The hot wing bar is another hit or miss, there is not a lot of consistency to the prepared food there.The store has a nice alcohol selection with the major brands and some local stuff.Actually thats one of the things I like about this store is that they clearly advertise the local items in all the departments. Im more likely to buy goods produced nearby.Overall its a nice store. I just wish their produce was a bit better on freshness.

The Hannaford To Go is amazing!!! Its so easy, they load your car for you, and they are ALWAYS friendly. Ive tried the shop at home from competitors and Ive been met with attitudes and kids who make it seem like its an inconvenience to do their jobs. One even refused to bring my groceries out when I had a broken leg. Hannaford is 100% amazing and Id recommend them to anyone.

Meat always fresh as well as produce

This Hannahfors is always tidy and clean. They have a great deli area for fresh deli meats. The pharmacy at this location has always been helpful as well with any questions about medication.they have fair prices for the food and beverages they sell.

Hannaford in Niskayuna has an excellent produce dept. as well as meat dept I personally live in Rotterdam but are Hannaford is very poor in employees and attitudes, the meat is acceptable, however whoever runs the produce should be replaced a long time ago

This is a good supermarket!

This is my go-to store for literally everything. They always have fresh fruits and veggies for great prices and their health food section is unbeatable. They have a great selection of vegan, gluten free, soy free, etc. items that rivals Whole Foods, but at a more affordable price. Plus, the new app with personalized coupons is just plain fun. When I was a teenager, I never thought Id be writing such a raving review of a grocery store, but here I am. I just love this store.

Always clean, friendly associates, and well stocked

This is a nice, large store that is well arranged. They have a great produce section and pharmacy section. Its right next to Walmart too so the location is good when you have multiple errands to run.

Feel sorry for the staff. The management isnt doing anything about people shopping without masks. Dont see this anywhere else I have shopped. Will not go there again until covid 19 is over

Generally I find this Hannaford to be less expensive that Price Chopper/Market32, and less of a zoo than Shoprite, but item availability, even pre-pandemic, can be real hit-or-miss. Often times I find myself having to go to Price Chopper just to get all of the things I need/want.

Most friendly of all the local grocery stores. Much more accommodating if an item is sold out and always very clean. The aisles are noticeably wider as well, making the store feel less cramped even when busy. Their yeast donuts are solid, I need to stop eating them but Im not going to.

I dont like Hannafords rewards program. First, it requires an email but then if you dont go on your email and jump through all the hoops, theres no reward. Defective by design, makes me want to shop anywhere else.

This is my local Hannaford and it is quick and convenient. More times than not the parking lot is always full with shoppers running in and out.Lately it seems as though their shelves are not fully stocked and it takes weeks to get items back. A little frustrating when you are hoping to make certain recipes. Forces you to go to a competitor.Produce is well stocked for the most part. Seafood and butcher area is always pleasant and those associates go above and beyond. Front end is good and just underwent a remodel.Store manager, Carl, is always pleasant to deal with.

As not only an employee but also a weekly shopper, I have to say that this Hannaford stands out more than any other. Everything is always placed in a well manor throughout the store and very rarely is anything ever out of order or difficult to find and if it somehow is, someone is always close by to asisst. The service is excellent and the employees are well trained, highly professional and kind. I would recommend this store to anyone.

Typical. Sensitive snowflakes working throughout. Michelle in the deli was pretty rude to the customer ahead of me as well as me.This is what we get in customer service now with nearly 100% employment. Ppl who dont want to be working and miserable about it. Pathetic

Recent expansion of organic juices, bath products and kombucha. Will shop here rather than more expensive markets. If anything is defective they will help u return it. Some items are expired on the shelfs so make sure to check the date.

This store is habitually out of stock on staple items. When brought to managements attention you get an attitude. It has become an adventure to see if you can do your weekly shopping in one visit to the store. There is an over reliance on off site management to make stocking decisions.

I generally like this store especially the Deli. They always seem to have what I want in stock. They are a little more expensive than the big box store but its easier to get around in. They have plenty of handicapped parking and a lot of ride on carts. When I broke my foot this was a great help. Everyone on staff is friendly and helpful. My only criticism is the produce department. Not always but some of the produce can be at times a bit unclean. Be careful what you pick out there.

All staff are very friendly. Cashier Erin and manager Rob were helpful and smiling. Its worth going out of my way to shop at the Niskayuna Hannaford!

Best large grocery store in the local area. Isles are wider, produce is always fresh, never as busy as other stores and they dont have club cards, which is actually nice as those small plastic base codes have taken over my key chain.
