Been taking my cars here for years, and they have always done a wonderful job both explaining what needs to be done and completing the job. Theyve never tried to talk me into anything that wasnt necessary, and they advise me on work that may be needed soon (and what signs to look for). Plus their prices are very competitive. I have had many bad experiences with autoshops. Mainstreet Garage and Tony were the exception to this! Not only does Tony get to you quickly with a diagnosis and price to fix, he is amazing about explaining to you in detail the issue in a way you would understand. The turnaround time on repairs is also MUCH FASTER then anywhere else I have experienced and prices are exactly what I expected them to be. I highly recommend Mainstreet and wouldnt go anywhere else after the experiences they have created for me!

Main Street was great! Very professional and quick. My car died in their area, and not being from SA, I did not know where to go. I called around and everyone was booked for the week. When I called main Street, they said I could come in and immediately started ordering parts for me and opening up their schedule to help. Everyone there was very knowledgeable and friendly. They got me in my way quickly.

Main Street Garage is a great place to bring your car 🚗 for repair needs, They are so reasonable in price and the give you 💯 of the professionalism and expertise!!! Today I brought My car in to have the air conditioner fixed I was so happy that they did the service because I’ve been taking my car to this place and all our other cars since 1999 did the only place I trust and believe in them, so there was no worries when I dropped my car 🚗 off. My Jeep with just over 36K had a check engine light warning. I had it checked was told it was the thermostat. I contacted the dealership was told it was covered under the power train warranty. Upon taking it in for the repair I was told it wasn’t covered. I called around choosing Main Street Garage. The staff is informative, the price was fair and the work was completed the same day. They even called the following day when the shop was closed to see how my vehicle was. Their customer service is top notch even offering a warranty for work performed. This level of customer service is rare nowadays. I highly recommend Main Street Garage.

Ive been here a couple of times for my 2001 Ford Escape when i 1st purchased it. Mike at the front office is an awesome employee. Always gave options and even helped with DIY projects to save me money. Havent had any issues. I was always updated. Thank you Mike and Main Street for taking care of me.

My husband has used MAIN ST. GARAGE in the past and has always said good things about them. Today was my first visit for an issue I was having with my car and not only was I seen immediately without having to wait, the service manager Michael was friendly and took care of my brake light within minutes, I didnt even have to get out of my car! Being someone with little knowledge about cars, Michael was patient and informative when I had questions. Ill definitely return to them any time I need a service done on my vehicle. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I’m using my daughters account to leave this review. My (Lara Duenas) gear shift cable was loose and wouldn’t allow me to shift gears. When I called the garage, I spoke to Michael and he knew what was wrong with my car before I finished explaining it. He also helped me in arranging a tow truck to get it there. He personally repaired the issue and had my vehicle back to me before the day was over. My experiences with the staff have always been excellent and their work is top notch!

I brought our Toyota Sienna here a couple months ago for some issues that one of the Toyota dealers pointed out. I wanted a second opinion because the dealer was asking close to $3k for repairs on wheel bearings, struts and other items. Main Street Garage looked at it. They said a couple items were non-issues and the real issue to repair was going to be 2/3rds less than what dealer quoted. Main Street was quick and their entire team was friendly. Driving up you might not think it’s anything special, but the garage itself is setup well and is clean! Cleanliness reflects attitude. I’ll be bringing my vehicles back here again for any other needed repairs.

I must say that I was recommended to this shop by another customer of theirs. I was very impressed by the service and promptness I recieved. The Service Manager Michael was very nice and had such deep knowledge of automotive. I think I have found my go to shopfor all my automotive needs, they repaired my vehicle for less than half of the cost of the competitors in the area and were very informative and had the best warranty in the business. 3 years and 36000 miles, Unheard of and very impressed with the information given to myself by all the employees.

They should be ashamed of themselves. My mom tried to go get her car looked at just for them to try to take advantage of her because she doesnt know much about cars. So much for being honest, and having integrity!

Until today, I have always dreaded taking my car in for repairs or even maintenance. However, after going to Main Street Garage, I know there is a place I can take my vehicle for repairs or upkeep that wont bend me over a barrel.The staff and mechanics are friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. I received quick and effective service - and their displays of customer service have won me over as a customer on a permanent basis.Getting your vehicle repaired doesnt have to be painful, you just need to have a great auto-shop like Main Street Garage.

My wife ran over something and damaged the compartment under front bumper causing piece to scrub when driving. Bruce and the guys had it fixed in less than a hr and didn’t charge me a dime!!! The control arm and thermostat needed replaced on our vehicle. We recently relocated from PA. Bruce and all the guys were professional, courteous, and friendly. Had taken my Chevy Impala to Valmark in New Braunfels, they charged me WAYYY over priced for an issue THEY DIDN’T EVEN FIX AND COULDN’T EVEN FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG. I took it into Main St. and they not only fixed the issue completely, they had me back on the road in the same day.

I am very optimistic about my vehicle. Like many my car is my life. In this town no car means a huge set back. I made it there to Main Street, as my mother bless her soul used to be a loyal customer for years. I took it to those who know what they are doing. They were very kind, extremely helpful, very educated in the knowledge of my foreign vehicle. I had a date and time that I can not miss that requires my vehicle. I was assured that it would be ready in time. That day has not come yet but they kept in contact enough to make me feel like I am the best hands ever.Ty Michael, Steven and the other wonderful gentleman.

I was driving my mother and daughter around in my van last week and the tire pressure light came on. I ignored it thinking it was nothing and then a few minutes later I heard a terrible noise coming from the front of the car. I realized quickly that it was the right front tire which had become completely flat. We happened to be on Schertz Parkway and I discovered that I had left my phone at home. I tried to drive the car a little ways down the road but it sounded terrible. I managed to turn onto Main St and I pulled into the first Garage I could find. I’m so glad it was Main St Garage. The service manager immediately offered to help. He filled up my tire enough so that I could pull further into the garage and then he examined the tire, discovered that it had two holes in it. Then he and a technician put the spare on for me. I didn’t have the key to the wheel lock and they were able to unlock it with their own device. I was utterly grateful for their help! It was so stressful to be in that situation and they literally came to the rescue. I would highly recommend their garage. The mechanics I spoke to were polite and friendly and the service manager was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely kind!

I took my vehicle in to Main Street Garage because it would not start from time to time. Another place told me that it was the alternator but Michael quickly noticed the issue upon opening the hood. He helped me get me on my way within 30 minutes. Wow! Great service and very knowledgeable! Thanks Michael!!

I went to a different place first because it was more convenient, but the other place misdiagnosed the problem and it got worse. I was complaining about that to my boss, & he told me this is where they take our 10+ work trucks for maintenance.I went in, and they got the problem sorted out within a couple hours, & I paid about what I expected to, so the prices are fair.

A family member recommended Main Street Garage in Schertz when I needed repairs on my 2001 Corvette. That car is my baby and I hoped to find a great place with honest mechanics to work on it. Have used their services twice and the guys at Main Street are awesome. They fixed my Vette, the prices were reasonable and they even gave me courtesy rides home and back when needed. About to go back for a new problem and Im confident theyll take good care of my baby again. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

If youre looking for a car garage for your vehicle you need to not look no more this is a place to go. I lived in Schertz all my life and used all sorts of mechanics that overcharged, didnt stand behind the products, and fix things I didnt need to be fixed. Main Street fixes only what needs to be fixed, gives you a quote and stands behind what they quoted. Michael in customer service is top-notch. I have now had to fix my alternator, my brakes, air condition and all my vehicles for inspections.

Got quoted over a thousand at SChertz Car Care Center to fix my sons water pump and a couple of other things. Main St garage did it for $600 less, and its running beautifully. They had the lowest quotes of anywhere and they had it in and out on the same day. Highly recommend

Every time that I have gone they have treated me with the utmost respect and explained to me what is wrong with my vehicles and what was the best solution to fix and how to prevent the problem from occurring again. They have also given me the option to replace or repair what is recommended at the current time by the factory specs. I have no problem recommending Main Street Garage for they earned my business and respect.

After getting a rediculous repair estimate with a long list of repairs needed from another mechanic shop, she was referred to Main Street Garage. They took the time to properly diagnose the problem, repair it at an affordable rate and went above and beyond to take care of her! putting our minds at ease that she was going to be well taken care of when we couldn’t be there! Truly an amazing place with people who care and really know what they are doing and won’t run up a huge bill for unnecessary repairs! What a blessing to have found them!

This place is awesome! I ran over a deer and it messed my stabilizer bars up underneath my car and it was shaking pretty bad. I told them I wanted to have it checked out before driving back to Fort Worth and they actually were concerned about me. They took my car immediately and fixed it for me. This is the best experience I have ever had at the mechanics! I had car issues that had been fixed multiple times by a previous mechanic with no success. One day! A few hours as a matter of fact was what it took to fix most of them with this crew! They are courteous, awesome, salt of the earth people who dont treat you like youre dumb. This shop has very courteous, friendly and professional staff/mechanics! I came in approx. 20min prior to close needing my tires checked bc 2/4 of them had visible bubbles/bulging spheres on their outer walls. I was in town to visit family & abt to head back home on a 15hr roadtrip when I noticed the bad tires and they took a look at them right then & there, plus they got my car in early the very next morning to have the bad tires replaced quickly, so that I could get back on the road again w/only a small delay in my original travel plans! =) Would def recommend this place to anyone needing efficient, quality service performed on their vehicle!

After they broke a gasket told my girl three different stories about how that happened they finally owned up to it but not till they broke the thermostat and driver side door and now theres an electronic problem if we turn off the ac the engine turns off not mad about that just the lies about it coming in like that but the prices are fair.
