We had the team at Dynocomp add a supercharger to our 4Runner and custom tuning. They were very timely and professional and after 2 months there are no issues. It runs great with a massive improvement in towing power. Great place to have work done.

This is the best tuning shop hands down. Before knowing about them, I built LS 6.0 for my Suburban and have been to other tuning shops with no great results. After finding Dyno comp Richard tuned it perfectly never ran so strong, Richard and Carlo are very professional they took time to answer my questions. They are very friendly and professional, I recommend them highly. Like I mentioned I have been to three previous tuners and spent thousands of dollars with bad results. I brought my SS to Dyno-Comp about 5 months ago after speaking to past customers and research, and to this day I’m still impressed.I was surprised to see what I would get out of my car, and for the price. Honestly, I thought they were being overly optimistic about the results; nope, the power I’m making now is incomparable to before and its got a great balance of torque.Months after the work was done I’m still treated like family and receive continued support on minor tweaks. To top it off their customer service was outstanding and rarely what you see these days.I won’t take may car anywhere else. Came in with my second WRX.. Had Stage 2 installed just as my previous WRX and requested a Custom Map tune. 4 days later the motor blew. The vehicle had 2700 miles on it and the Pistons welded themselves to the walls. I fought and ran this all the way up to Subaru of America claims because I didnt believe it was the tune. They had an Independent third party inspector in charge of the report and the only thing I was told in an email was, Tune had put increased internal pressure, loads and stress on components that SOA did not intend. New motor and shop time added up to $7600 after I spent $1350 for install and the tune. Im stuck in a grey area of He said.. She said.. regardless.. Id have to side with Subaru when they say the custom map tune is what caused the failure.. but they wont share the actual report.. which I was dumbfounded, didnt agree with and ran it up to Subaru of America again... still no report.. If I had to do it again I wouldve asked more questions but, I also really depended on the expertise of the Tune Shop and what they can and cant do with custom tunes.

Brought in my Cobb Stage 1 Fiesta ST for a downpipe, intake, and an ethanol based tune with a flex fuel sensor. This place is the real deal and blew my expectations out of the water. Very professional and answered my tons of questions with pleasure. Will absolutely be back to do business again and I highly recommend as you really do get your money’s worth. Amazing work

I visited Dyno-Comp to get a baseline Dyno reading before I make some modifications to my roadster. Everyone was extremely pleasant and friendly - even able to accommodate a request to get a Dyno reading within just one days notice. Richard (the owner) did the pulls on the car and was very easy to work with.

Great work from these guys, had a rollbar and harness put in on my Shelby. For such a tricky install, they did quite well; and their quote was bang on!

Cannot say enough about the DynoComp Team! I initially showed up with battery issue, and they hoped into action. Had a great experience with my 2019 f150. New Down pipes, tuned, stage 2 cold air intake, bed cover, leveling kit and Ngauge. Truck runs great and they have been great about answering questions after everything was done. Going back for tires and rims! Would highly recommend to anyone.

I waited a while to write this review to see if what they told me was true... anyways, I purchased an Evo x a little over 2 years ago and it was running poorly. I was told great things about dyno comp so I took it here for an inspection. Upon bringing it to them, they explained that the car was in terrible shape and would need lots of repairs. They said it wouldn’t last long and said I’d probably be looking at a rebuild in the near future. On top of that, when I asked about tuning, they said I needed an accessport to tune my Evo... really? This isn’t a Subaru, anyone who owns an Evo knows that accessports are the last thing you want over an open source tune. That’s besides the point, 2 and a half years later, 40k miles later, 300 extra hp later, and a better tuner, the car is running amazing and pulls strong. I took it to another shop after they told me this and they said it was complete bs and that there was a few minor issues in my tune due to the previous owner removing parts from it but nothing detrimental. Long story short, if you have an Evo, steer clear of these people. They clearly have no clue what they’re talking about when it comes to evos or just Mitsubishi in general.

Went in for a tune and left with a slower car than before. So basically I spent 1,600 to get my car tuned down. Called numerous times and talked to Tyler and asked him if I can talk to Richard the owner. Its been months and I still havent been able to get ahold of Richard and Ive called over 10 times. Very disappointed because if I would have known that they would tune my car to make it go slower and pay 1,600 dollars I could have got my son some clothes or something. It took me over a year to save that kind of money and these people at Dyno-comp think everyone is a millionaire or something. I regret taking my car to them and I will never recommend them to anyone . Ill save up another year or two and take my car somewhere else and maybe Ill have my car back performing the way it was in the first place.

First time I came here was back in 2006 with my STI and Richard did a ton of work to that car for me time after time, then I came back in 2014 with my 5.0 GT mustang and did a ton work and I never had any issues with anything I was always happy and satisfied every single time I left, unfortunately my 2014 GT mustang got t-boned a while back and I never got another one until now I am finally looking for a new one and as soon as I get one that is the first place that I am going to come to and I will come and see Richard for upgrades and any other custom work I always have and I always will

The first 5 minutes we were there, the owner bragged about everything hes ever done. He then bragged about being able to drive and start anything. 2 minutes after getting into my dads car.....he flooded it. And couldnt get it started again. Which is okay...it happens. He then looked under the hood. He saw ZERO computer equipment. All mechanical fuel injection, and I guess he got scared, because we never saw him again. No offer to help. No offer of anything. Once we voiced our let down. He called the cops on us and told us to leave his property. WOW.Needless to say, Hes a keyboard mechanic. If the computer cant tell him whats wrong with your car, hes pretty much useless. Take it for what its worth.

I am new to the industry and have learned over the past two years that a lot more goes into an engine that I ever knew. I have learned to understand and have a new respect for tuners. Upon the first visit to DynoComp I was intrigued and curious. The prices in my opinion were high because it was my first time walking into the tuning industry.Within the past for five years I have begun to lose trust in most companies because of bad experiences. When I initially took my car to dynoComp I had no problems but was hesitant. The problems arose after I blew my engine. I was without my car for a period of roughly 3 months. My engine had to be sent back and forth to California two times for a rebuild. This was the fault of bad communication with long distance Accompanied by my impatience. I’ve learned that rushing a tuner or mechanic Will have its consequences due to prioritization, irritation or lack of caring due to the pressure of our “want it now” culture.After this incident I was constantly researching and learning more and more about my vehicle. The truth is from what I have learned is no mechanic or tuner knows every answer because of constant innovation and growing knowledge. new ways to make these vehicles faster and more reliable. The education never stops with these individuals.Drain this whole process I called many mechanics and multiple tuners asking different questions to understand more about how these vehicles work. I took it upon myself to install some of my own aftermarket parts and unfortunately failed in doing so because of my lack of understanding how these complex and intricate systems work.I took a lot of Frustration out on the tuners and Colleagues With immature action. Dynocomp has been around for quite some time and are the top 20 in the nation for a reason.I plan on doing more business with them in the future Knowing that the job will be done correctly. Even if they don’t always have the exact answer I’m sure they can find it somehow that’s why they do business so well. I have also learned that when it comes to aftermarket parts on a vehicle and the engines themselves Will all have their own personalities.Truthfully I don’t think a star matters as far as rating is concerned.At the end of the day the experience, knowledge and confidence is what builds trust over time bringing the person back.I came back because of research and more understanding for the whole picture. I gave four stars because it’s come to this point in taking this long.Overall Daniel Comp is actually a really good company because if they weren’t they wouldn’t be in Business.I’m tired of seeing negativity four views which is why I didn’t add a lot of details because there’s no need for it figure out your own experience.This is an update from a year ago. I am posting this because of my aftermath mechanical knowledge. It turns out dynocomp did not correctly or completely inform me about some parts that were installed. Their truth was highly inaccurate even after I came to them less than a month after their second attempt to fix my issues. I was never given new valve seals with the new engine nor new valves. These were causing oil burning issue and lack of performance. This was a 3k dollar fix completed by subiworx in Tempe. Dynocomp deliberately used the same valve seals and OEM valves after tuning my engine to “430” whp. These numbers were flawed. From a top tuner in Arizona this is unacceptable and worth letting all car enthusiasts know. Choose you mechanic and tuner wisely. My car runs great now but I will never return to this company again.m my

They tuned my Hyundai Accent, that needed a tune due to fully custom exhaust and cold air intake. Thoroughly diagnosed the problems my car was having and found out that all my o2 sensors are bad. They replaced them and even did a nice cable management on it. Little dissapointed with the power gain tho, but quality work make up for it. Kinda know they are low-key hating on Hyundais tho. But only tuners i found in arizona that tune Hyundais. Will be coming back if needing a tune.

Lives up to the title as one of the best tuning shops in America. They have so far tuned our 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo, 2013 Bmw M3, 2014 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, as well as our 2014 Ferrari 458. I suspected that my 2015 Ecoboost Mustang wasnt running its best lately, so I took it to DynoComp to see if they could set things right. I hoped that the DC technicians could help me realize the true potential of my car now that I had finished some significant hardware modifications. After installing a 3 MBRP turbo-back exhaust, cold-air intake, huge intercooler, and upgraded BOV, I loaded an off-the-shelf tune through my Cobb Accessport. From what I could tell, that Cobb tune made a noticable but less than impressive difference in the performance of my Stang. So, I socked away a few hundred bucks and took it out to the DC wizards in Scottsdale a couple months later. DynoComp owner and tuner extraordinare, Rich, had my car for the afternoon. When I picked it up that evening my little 4-banger was a whole new animal! It was now putting down 405 hp and 435 lb/ft of torque. This was close to a 30% increase over both of the stock numbers. I headed home on a test drive and what I felt under my butt confirmed what the Dyno printout had shown. This thing is truly bananas and now gives many Yote powered Mustangs a genuine run for their money. Thank you DynoComp!

Would highly recommend not going here. Have taken my car here dozens of times, some major repairs and some minor. Have recieved moderate customer service throughout the time however not anywhere near what you would expect for how much you’re paying. Had third gear replaced by them, went to go pick up my car today & it looked cleaner, was told one of the employees drove it through the car wash. First off I understand the act of kindness, however I take pride in my car & have had it professionally paint corrected, & now there are swirls all over the place from the drive through car wash, & most frustrating of all, I home & one of my wheels was freshly curb rashed. I am %100 confident that it was not me as I take extremely good care of my car, notice any time any damage occurs, & am the only driver of my vehicle. Would have also preferred being asked before taking the car out, very disappointed, have had numerous bad experiences here & would not recommend.

The work was alright but they will always try and change priced to make more even if nothing else was added 1250 dyno tune they added 180 afterwards even though its a simple tune even said up front..

Do NOT come here for Tunning!If your car needs tunning or runs on E85 DONT COME TO DYNOCOMP!!!!!! RUN AWAYThis is an honest review, I’ve spent close to 15k at dyno comp on my bmw built and they could not get it to work. I originally brought it in because they positioned themselves as BMW experts, and the car kept throwing check engine light each and every single time I got it back from them, it was converted to run E85 on flex tune and was misfiring each morning after I got it back. The final straw came when Dynocomp stayed and I have this as evidence on their receipt... that morning misfires may happen and in their words is “Normal”. Carlo and Richard there told me to clear the codes when that happens. Can you imagine your car misfiring and going into limp mode each morning and the shop that works on it is telling YOU to clear the codes yourself. Dynocomp stated their other BMWs do the exact same thing, that’s a joke! I took my car to a different tuner who found all kinds of issues with Dynocomp tune that had to be fixed. My car NEVER misfires on start ups and runs 100 times better. Take my advice and take your hard earned money else where.

Richard is the man. Every single employee is friendly as well. He worked on my celica with a outdated Power Fc which almost no one else would touch. Though we had the problem fixed first time.. it acted up again, He had me bring it back in and got it running right for no charge. Also decide what the heck throw in a tiny tune. Glad I did, drastic changes, different car, more power and smooth curve. Highly recommend these guys for mechanical or tuning. Little pricey, but perfection follows quality .

Ive gotta say Im absolutely enthralled with Dyno Comp. I put my Miata on coilovers and took it to the Big O Tires down the road from (who I trusted at the time) me for a simple alignment. After getting my car back and it driving no better (worse if anything) I decided that I was going to take it here where a lot of my friends had brought their cars for tuning and were overly satisfied with the service and work they received. They were quick to get me started from the moment I walked in and quick to get my car back into my hands rather than the normal countless hours youd spend waiting at any other shop. Mike was completely professional and very thorough with how he explains things. Im not sure of the name of the tech who worked on my car there but he is also outstanding as the car drives straight as an arrow now, considering how low it is, and he was extremely detailed and specific in his notes which is more than appreciated. The biggest thing I can appreciate as well was that there was no obvious sales pitch at the end for trivial items or services. They have earned my respect, my business, and my trust. This place is fantastic.

Got a protune from here on my WRX. Car was knocking and on start up would sit at 3k. Also threw a CEL. My base map from AWD Tuning in Texas ran better than the “tune” I got here. When I asked about the 3000RPM startup Rich told me his tune is solid and I must have a vacuum leak. Got a tune from a near by reputable shop and all the issues are fixed. The “vacuum leak” that they blamed it on was actually them setting the startup that high. My new tune resolved that issue. Also had lots of knock on my dyno comp tune. Would not recommend at all.

Im in the Air Force and recently bought a new 2015 subaru wrx(base model) and wanted a little more power! I was looking at the Cobb Accessport which is a tuner but I felt that wasnt going to be enough to and I was impatient and didnt want to wait for shipping to be honest. I called these guys up and turns out they had my tuner in Stock and they had a wealth of knowledge about my car. After checking out their website I got sold on the fact that Ill just go stage 2 on my upgrade and called them up and AGAIN they had the jpipe(downpipe) for my car in stock as well as the Cobb intake! So I figured theyd have to schedule me out way far in advance but no the very next day they said they can get me in and it happened to be a Friday and I told them i dont want you to have to stay late just for my car and the owner said no no dont worry about we are here for you and its no prob If we stay a little bit after i ended up going in early and they were able to install everything perfectly plus part of what I wanted was a PRO TUNE and well needless to say I got a PRO TUNE my car is a hell of a lot louder and has quite a bit more power !I was extremely please with how these gentleman did business! They all had positive attitudes and all seemed to know quite a bit about cars which was great! I will definitely be going back for more mods in the future!

Ive had two cars done at DC. First one was a 2013 STI which they made into a 400WHP dream! I recently brought in a 2012 Evo X and Rich worked his magic and made 315WHP and the car is smooth as butter! I have always been treated with respect and have never been talked into something that wasnt needed. Rich and the guys know their stuff! I trust them with any of my cars. Rich only cares on how much your going to pay for your car. He only has knowledge for a subaro nothing else! Germans car? He gets his softwares from An exotic dealership all the way from Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates). Which is not even competing with other good shops that upgrade german cars in the middle east. They are the worse! Every time i wanted to reflash for a racing event i would pay 500-800$ just for a reflash. When weistec and other german shops wont charge you a dollar! They are salesmen who only care about money not customers satisfaction yet, no power.

Took my 2013 Supercharged Audi RS5 in for a overheating problem. The car was at their shop for a total of 24 days. Turns out it was a broken water pump. They replaced the water pump but couldnt get the car to start because of a faulty starter. I had it towed to the Scottsdale Audi to see if it was covered under warranty because Dyno Comp thought they could hook me up and what not. Needless to say the dealership was waiting on a OK from Dyno Comp to go ahead with the replacement for 4 days(on top of the car being in the shop for 24 days already). So for 4 days it sat there at the dealership. I ended calling up the dealership and taking care of it myself. Then I get a bill from dyno comp and on the bill I get charged for a belt that I had in my trunk that they used...after asking what that was about I was told that the bill was automatically sent out after 24 days....????.....so I get the new starter installed at Audi and a week later I get a call from dyno comp asking if I got the car and how they would like to go over the car and finish a few things up. There were bolt heads that were stripped, my manifold paint job was ruined (wasnt spray painted, f****** idiots), and a cover panel was broken. After pointing this out to Rich and their marketing guy(Anoeil) several times they agreed to fix it (the whole time they tried cutting me off and trying to distract me). I got no apologies for the inconvenience or anything. During the whole 24 days for a water pump I was calling and getting updates so the receptionist knew my phone number and I could here her say my name in a whisper. Im talking about I called maybe 2-3 a week because they kept saying it would be done this week. While visiting scottsdale to look at a Land Rover I stopped in to the shop with my girlfriend. I went back with the marketing guy(Anoeil) to look at my car. When I got back to my rental car to leave my girlfriend said she heard Rich ask the receptionist if I was in the back. She said yes and Rich (while he was with a employee or customer) said what an annoying little fuc*....needless to say I wanted to do something. This shop is horribly unprofessional and filled with people that dont care unless you are in their inner circle. They gave me the run around and never owned up for their mistakes. Stay clear and go across the street to another shop!This is the fourth time Ive had to repost this review...Update 11/20/2017I have the car get an upgraded fuel pump and the current tuning company has just informed me that DYNO COMP used so much silicon in the bolts they werent threaded properly. They also used the wrong hardware and shaved my supercharger instead of using the correct hardware. This has cost me an additional $1,575.00 in labor to fix their mistakes.

A little spendy, but they do top notch work.

I had Dyno-Comp work on my //M5, I was shocked at how cheap it was compared to the gains.Five stars to the Dyno-Comp Team

Very poor service. Asked for a track alignment, max camber.... and they gave me not even - 1 deg of camber!! I knew something was wrong when I corded the outer edge of my left side tires after one session. Went to a different shop where they showed me the before and after settings....I would not trust Dyno-Comp with any of my cars.
