Went to get a car today. Staff was amazingly nice. Found and bought what i was looking for. Just wish that i did not have to wait over a hour just to sign and pay for the car i was getting. Back in early May, my prized 02 Tundra was totalled. She had 245K miles on her. My wife was driving. While all that really mattered, was that she was alive and in one piece, the news of my truck was still very upsetting.While waiting for my settlement, I got busy looking for a replacement vehicle. Preferably, a Japanese truck. Initially, I was looking to downsize, as I felt I really didnt need a full sized truck, anymore. In fact, I came very close to purchasing a Nissan Frontier Nismo. I had even seen a few Tundras in good condition. Many of which, were slightly over priced.The same day I put a deposit on the Frontier, I happened to be looking through listings, and new one popped up. A jade green 02 Tundra TRD, but 172K miles. The price was right about where it shouldve been. I immediately sent an email through Farmers Truecar to the dealer, which happened to be AutoNation Subaru in Scottsdale.The Web Sales Associate, Maria responded the following Monday morning, and I went to see the truck that day. She was very friendly and professional, even sympathetic toward my situation. She was extremely helpful. She recommended signing the paperwork to get the ball rolling, as the truck hadnt even been inspected, yet, so I couldnt do much more than listen to the engine. It sounded excellent.Maria then turned me over to Darcy, their Financing Director. Ill use the same 4 words. Friendly, professional, sympathetic, and again, extremely helpful. This is where I signed the paperwork for the proposed loan, and she told me she would have the truck expedited through their processes, so I could test drive it, then make my decision. The following Friday, I test drove the truck with Maria, then it was back to Darcys office, where she had found a loan with an even better interest rate than initially planned. Everything about the truck was disclosed, and all safety issues with it were resolved by their mechanics. Amazing! I drove my green Tundra home that day. As it was so expedited, they didnt have a chance to replace the cracked windshield before I drove it home. That was taken care of last week.Huge thanks to Maria, Darcy, and their team of mechanics at AutoNation Subaru in Scottsdale for taking care of me as well as they did, without being pushy, as so many people in car sales are. I was very impressed.Also, thanks to AutoNation Subaru in Phoenix for being understanding about returning my deposit, once I settled on the Tundra in Scottsdale.Maria and Darcy, you two were awesome. Met as I drove into the service area, introduced to a technician who quickly ascertained my needs and got them process started. Tune-up was completed quickly and I was on my way. Friendly, helpful, service-driver and thoughtful team at Auto Nation Subaru.
My husband and I have two young children so spending a ton of time at the dealership isnt really an option. We worked with Lucas on a new Impreza that was in transit and explained that we would really like to limit the amount of time we would spend at the dealership. Lucas and his team were amazing and exceeding all of our expectations. Not only did they offer a fair amount for my trade, the entire process was seamless and we were in and out within about 2 hours of our arrival. I cant thank them enough for actually holding up their end of the bargain and doing what they said they would do. 👏

This was my first time purchasing a new car and I didnt know where to begin or what dealership to consider purchasing my car from. I checked out several other dealerships here in the valley, and many of the sales representatives that I met with were very aggressive and brash, and did not provide me with helpful advice in my prospecting purchase. Good new service experience. We needed a trailer hitch installed on our new Outback, was able to call and get that scheduled easily, they sent several nice reminders, and the service was in and out that day. They even nicely took care of the upcoming 6000 mile service while the car was there. Our appointment was at 7am, and they opened promptly on time, and had us on our way quickly -- we just left the car there for the day. Our advisor Steven was friendly and efficient. New trailer hitch looks great, were ready for traveling this summer!

I have come to expect great service from this organization. My service writer, Steven, has always taken great care of me and, of course, my automobile. For my most recent appointment, I arrived a little early. Steven immediately checked me in and told me how long I should expect to wait. As usual, the wait was shorter than I expected, and I was on my way. I have nothing but good things to say about the service I have received over the last 4 years with this dealership.

Only reason for four stars versus five is that after an oil change and inspection, I noticed that the rear wiper blade on my Subaru is torn and clearly needs to be replaced. Would have thought the regular service should have included wiper blade inspection.
It is everything you are looking for in a dealership. I was able to try various Toyota corollas, and there were no hidden fees that I could find. They say you get what you pay for, but in this case, I think you get a little more. :)
Sales department really nice. Our 4month old new car has been back twice to date. First time for a new battery and then because we had a puddle of water on the driver side floor. They ordered the new part and when we went for it fitted the service associate had not booked the appointment. New part fitted and one week later same issue. Speak with Subaru and it is apparently a known issue. Another new part ordered. They phone to set a appointment. Over 10 minutes listening the same message loop. Had things to do could not wait forever so we still do not have a repair date. Disappointed with the after sales is in understatement.

My son is moving to AZ and needed to purchase a car upon arrival. Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience at Camelback Subaru and with vehicle inventory being so low everywhere we were feeling a bit despaired. 😞 I reached out to 3 dealerships online and Colton from Auto Nation Subaru called me within 2 minutes! He was friendly, listened and after a few hours we drive off the lot in the car that Camelback Subaru tried to price goug us on! We are frim the midwest where people are generally just friendly and Auto Nation Subaru made us feel like we were at home! Colton would crush car sales where we are from!I cant leave the review without saying how awesome Darcey, the finance director was! She took the time to ensure he got a great rate and to help explain the different warranty options! Bait and Switch, very dishonest or at the least, terrible mistakes made to the tune of a $2000 snuck in. (They changed the warranty price and added a clear bra which he NEVER ordered and NEVER received) and never said word one, NOR did they give him a copy of the receipt, they made it sound like it was for the financing company and he already had his contract. They refuse to fix this.My husband and son went down to Auto Nation on Northsight to get his first car. They settled on a price and interest rate. They negotiated the price of the warranty to $2400. So he gave the down-payment, signed the contract, and went home with the car.Several days later he was told he had to come back because the interest rate had gone up. My husband and I were trying to let him do this himself, but that made me angry, so I called Jody Sedillo with my son on the line. He said they had no control over the interest rate, and there was nothing he could do. We could either bring back the car or sign for the higher interest.Because my son was planning to pay it down quickly, he decided he still wanted the car. He and another person went down and they signed for the new interest rate and thought that was it.Driving home after work his car engine started on fire shortly after he bought it, they kept the car for weeks. It needed a new engine (now I wonder what he got). He checked with the people he made his payments with because they were applying his extra payments forward vs. to the principal (also awful trying to get ahold of those people).Weve lived in Scottsdale, I am native, and still own a home there and Carefree area. Weve heard of bad dealers, but this kind of behavior is outright criminal. They have not returned phone calls and when we did talk to them, the attitude is shrug my shoulders and we cant help you.We have filed a complaint with the Better Business bureau.Do NOT let your child be taken advantage of. A couple thousand may not be worth your time, but it is the principal of the thing.

Marcus Andrew’s was my service advisor and I have nothing bad to say about my experience. I’ve been to multiple shops and other Subaru service centers and they have all treated me poorly or messed up on the fixes to my car. Marcus and AutoNation Subaru took care of me. They always kept me in on what my car needed, the fixes were affordable and I truly felt that they cared about me and my car. I will continue to go AutoNation Subaru and Marcus.
I wish they just told me their techs are not competent with aligning aftermarket suspenion. I told them prior about my suspension set up and they said it wouldnt be a problem. When I got there they said itd be more than your usual alignment rate, which I wish they told me over the phone but still not a huge deal. After two hours, they told me they were done. The rear was not in spec and I asked why. They told me I need to buy shorter laterial links and went to show me why on my car. When we got out there I showed him they were adjustable and thats when I realized the lock nuts werent even tightened down so its safe to assume they didnt even touch this suspenion component. They even added a miscellaneous charge on top of the already more expensive alignment. I was so annoyed but didnt want to pull a Karen so I just paid their inflated price for an improper alignment and left. Do not recommend.

You would think the manager should be available when asked, not giving to someone who really doesnt care. I may have gotten another Subaru?? No one helped. Had questions that were never answered. .......shop elsewhere. Its really unfortunate 😕

Absolutely LOVE AutoNation Subaru Scottsdale! The staff is fun and friendly but they’re also very easy going. This was my first time buying a car and I couldn’t be happier with the customer service alone. I went in nervous as hell because of all the horror stories with buying a new car and the aggressive car salesmen. I didn’t have any of those experiences. I spent hours and hours calling different dealerships about a specific car and I’m so happy they were one of the 3 dealerships that actually had it. With how I was treated over the phone, I had to visit here first. Needless to say, they were my only stop. So happy I did!! Shoutout to TJ for your patience and support!! I had a really good experience with Mike at Scottsdale Subaru. I wanted to get a skid plate put on my car, and there ended up being a few issues that held up the process. Mike was awesome and helped me figure out what I needed to do to get my plate installed! It took a few weeks but the project was completed and I felt like the team at Scottsdale Subaru took care of me the entire way.

Brought my 2017 Crosscheck in for its maintenance at the Service Department. As always, courtesy and professionalism were on display. I waited, masked and socially distanced, in the showroom. The servicing of my vehicle, fluids, brakes, tires, etc., took just over an hour to complete. When it came time to pay my bill, I was given an extra $20 off. I was reminded by the technician that I could stop in at any time for a free pit stop. This courtesy is for all Subaru owners. The only service not provided was the free car wash, but only because they were experiencing technical difficulties with their car washing equipment. However, I was invited to return at a later date for the car wash, again at no charge. They truly aim to please their customers.

He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire process a pleasure.
Very helpful when you are in the buying process. Beware, after you sign and drive away all of that ends. They act like they will help but never do. All of a sudden the sales guy doesnt have any answers. I was hoping since they have a fairly new GM things would be different. I hoped for a little honesty and integrity from AutoNation but they got what they wanted. If you are reading this and plan to visit this dealer, get everything in writing and then insist that a manager signs off on it. You will thank yourself later.
My experience here hasnt been great. I went to look for a car when I was 19 and heard Subarus are great cars. The sales man I work with was great and nice. The finance person was not. He told me I was to young for a auto loan with chase and refused to contact my bank for 4 hours. When he did chase wrote back immediately and approved my loan right there on the spot with a low APR. When that happened the finance person turned nice and worked with me. About 6 months of owning the car the ac slowly died and they replaced the blower motor. Its been almost a year and its having the same issues it did last time. They refused to look at any parts because they couldnt feel any of my problems. They said they would have to charge me to look inside. I understand thas normal but I feel strongly that if they fix the ac it shouldnt be breaking down having the same issues within the year. Ive had garbage cars before with ac thats lasted more than 3 years and good cars with ac that last more than 3 years. The Subaru dealership told me because they cant see the problem with the car idling for 20 mins that they wont do anything or check. So Im out of luck until it dies completely like it did 11 months ago and they will still charge me for it unless its the part that they replaced. Poor service and Ill never buy a Subaru again. My Subaru is a 2017 outback

I struggle with the anit-mask policy Autonation has implemented, however the manager Sara did everything she could to make me feel comfortable. She went as far asto have my car picked up/dropped off so i didnt have to be in an environment I was uncomfortable in. I really appreciated that and will be a loyal customer as long as she is there!

Having worked in this industry for close to a decade I find shameful that they would not follow the recommendation of the technician leaving the full cost up to the customer. No, cars should be ready and sent out with proper maintenance done not just a wink wink safety check/oil change. Cmon guys. Make sure to get a warranty. Good car though.

I dont buy a vehicle at a dealership too often. This being the second time for me in 7 years. The experience was really good. They worked with me and my busy schedule that day. Even calling someone in late into the evening to get us financed and out the door near or after their closing time.

Terrible service experience. Shuttle driver (Subaru employee) nearly seriously injured my 11 year-old son when he drove off in a hurry before he was even inside the vehicle. Luckily my wife who was seated in the rear seat was able to pull him in before he fell out! Driver then drove like a maniac to our destination. Upon return it was discovered that not all of the service that was listed on the invoice as being performed was completed; the tire rotation for example - which leads me to question whether or not the service was completed at all or if the recalls were actually performed. Oil cap was replaced with a different (old, worn and filthy) cap than what I showed up with, so Im sure they at least touched that. There has been no follow up to my complaints from the dealership or Subaru of America, which in my opinion, is unacceptable.

Colton helped me (and worked with me over the course of a few weeks) put together the deal that worked for my family. He also helped navigate the difficult delivery delays and even beat the deadlines we set. I can tell he cared about getting me in the car I wanted and he wasnt pushing a deal. One of the easiest/most transparent car buying experiences of my life! My husband and I were on the hunt for a 2021 WRX STI. Before visiting AutoNation Subaru, we visited two other Subaru dealerships in the area. We had a horrible experience at Camelback Subaru, where they tried to up-charge the MSRP by $7,500 ($5,000 of which was a bank fee that we were told was simply because of low inventory in town). When I finally reached out to AutoNation, I was already a bit jaded by the experience so far, but our sales associate David was incredibly responsive and transparent via email and text before we drove up to see the vehicle. He sent me a total cost that was actually based on the MSRP without any bogus fees or upgrades that we didnt need. When we arrived for our scheduled appointment, David met us at the door, and immediately let us take the car for a test drive. The purchase process was seamless. The pricing was fair with 0 surprises, and even a little discount added on. Brett in finance was easy to work with, wasnt pushy on the maintenance packages and was also able to beat the financing I previously secured through our bank. We were out the door (with our new STI) in about two hours from beginning to end. Everyone in the office was friendly and helpful. While living 5 minutes from this Scottsdale dealership we’ve been taking our 3 Subaru’s to a dealership in Phoenix for almost 10 yrs. Long story but basically we were unhappy with new car salesperson in 2013. Today I discovered I needed new wiper blades before a drive to Tuscon and Steve Russo could not have been nicer. A great Dealership, always meeting expectations, and also providing top services.I can tell you from experience that there are many lousy Chain dealerships out there that belong to bigger chains like Penske, Earnhardt and Autonation, but the Autonation Subaru Scottsdale dealership is nothing like those.Autonation Subaru Scottsdale is really a delight to deal with, we have now bought three cars through them and never had a single bad experience, they go above and beyond to make sure everything is done to resolve any customer requests.
I arrived a few minutes before opening and the first Service person spoke with me, acknowledging my being there and would be a few minutes only. My car was in, serviced and a recall notice item checked. My car did not have the recall issue. They gave me new wipers blades and off I went. Easy Peasey! Donna Rayl

3 stars is generous. Ive been taking my subaru here for 3-4 years and almost every time the customer experience is so lackluster I inevitably leave disappointed. The people who work the desk are nice, but I dont think this business is run well, that they live into Subarus value of making customers smile, being a trusted partner, or engaging sincerely in order to deliver peace of mind. Ive been left stranded without a car when they said they would call and give me a ride before closing time, charged more than I was quoted on the phone, told my car was finished just to pick it up and find it not done and that it would take another $300 to have them fix what I asked them to fix in the first place... Again nice people, but this service and business is a mess.

Low key, very knowledgeable and pleasant salesperson. Solid knowledge of relative differences among Subaru models. Was able to quickly find exactly what I wanted.One minor issue is that AutoNation really needs to set up a two-hour training program for those buying a new Outback Limited. Prodigious level of options to learn.A negative issue was the unexpected after-sales presentation of additional ongoing services and Starlink options. Both should have been discussed earlier, not when I was eager to drive the car home and after I had paid what I considered to be a fair price and been at the dealership for over two hours. While options presentations were not high-pressure, they came across as subtle pressure selling that left a bad taste in what was otherwise a professional experience.
This dealership auto repair is the best Ive ever had. I have found them to fair, honest, helpful and competitively priced. No pressure just great service. They are also on time, polite, and friendly. I will continue to take my Subaru here for repair.

Went here to buy a used car and left with a brand new 2021 Forester, thanks to Myles and Darcy!! They worked with me and my husband for hours trying to get us the best deal possible. Honestly so thankful Myles was working with us. He was so patient with me (it took me an hour to decided on just the color lol) and was never pushy like your typical salesman. When we got to finance, we told Darcy what our budget was and what rate we needed and see made it happen with no hassle! Such a pleasant experience here. I never thought I would be the first owner of any car, let alone a Forester sport!! Thank you guys for making it happen! I would 10/10 recommend!
We had a very joyful and satisfied experience purchasing 2021 Subaru Forester Sport with AutoNation. I quoted the price online and David Gonzalez Ramirez helped me with quotes on different trims back and forth. He is very polite, patient and not pushy at all, which gave me the time to decide what I really need. After going to store, we met Sales Manager Matthew Miller and Sales Associate Ryan McDonald. We negotiated with Matt and he helped us with the price we want. Ryan tested drive the car twice with us and he is super nice, patient and knowledgable. Ryan explained us the whole buying process and helped us on documentation and payment as well. Ryan is very honest and earned my trust with AutoNation.Overall, very nice and smooth experience.
Purchased a pre-owned Forester. Best customer service Ive ever experienced at any dealership. My sales advocate Colton was very professional and up front about everything. The whole process from test drive to finance was efficient and informative. I never felt pressured into buying anything I didnt want. I recently purchased a pre-owned vehicle (Honda Civic) from AutoNation Subaru Scottsdale. My buying experience included several different visits to the dealership with lots of shopping around at other dealerships as well. Throughout the course of the transaction the entire team (sales, finance, etc) at Subaru Scottsdale was exceptional. They were very low pressure and allowed me to proceed at my own pace. It also helped that they had a very reasonably priced vehicle with no dealer add-ons or excessive fees to jack up the price. I was treated as if I was purchasing a new vehicle and felt like an important customer. The difference between this dealer and many others I visited was noticeable (in a good way). If youre in the market for a new Subaru or pre-owned vehicle I would HIGHLY suggest a visit to AutoNation Subaru Scottsdale.

Very dishonest and poor customer service experience. I talked with three guys while I was there and none of them were on the same page. I even have one of them recorded on a voice memo stating he didnt agree with the other sales managers (Carl Campos) appraisal numbers that he was offering for my trade in. When I got on the phone with Carl Campos, he kept interrupting me and speaking over me, I had to ask him to let me speak. This guy was just trying to lowball me and wouldnt admit to his faults or his employees. Phony people with no integrity whatsoever.
