What a big step above Discount Tire! For one, there is actually comfortable seating. Fast, friendly service, and they do most additional services (like alignments) too. I’m so happy I discovered this place.

Down to earth, explained what was going on with the vehicle and gave multiple options for oil changes, batteries and other replacement parts.They stood behind the quality of there work and went beyond the scope of the work order by fixing and fastening loose panels and clearing codes from previous warnings lights that had not been cleared by the dealership!!Great folks and great service at a very reasonable and honest price.Ill be bringing all my vehicles here for the wide range of maintenance and care they offer.

Greg is great and helpful. He fixed the tire leaking problem and also checked whether my tires need to be rotated. The total charge is only $20. I highly recommend this place for car repair!

By far the worst most dishonest shop in AZ. Said I needed a brand new transmission, quoted me for 7 grand and when I went to Audi, they fixed 2 parts of the transmission for about 2 grand. About a month later, we took our Nissan Pathfinder in and they stated they found metal pieces in the oil and that the engine was shot and quoted us 11 grand for a new engine… but yet when asked they couldn’t pull any proof or show me the metal pieces they said they found. We took it to Nissan the following day, and Nissan couldn’t find any metal pieces and said everything was fine, and implied that C&R were making an attempt to rip us off. Awful shop, awful dishonest service. 0 stars.

Cant say enough about how happy I am once again with my experience at C&R tire on Frank Lloyd Wright. They have always been so friendly, fast, informative and honest. Ive brought my car in with a flat, needing new tires and for oil change in past - so when my breaks started making an awful sound - I was confident C&R would help me like I was a member of the family. (that is a compliment I rarely bestow) Lucky me - they got me right in and discovered it was a rock. I was prepared to spend $$ (and bet other companies would make something up) but they sent me on my way at no charge. Now who but a family member would do that? C&R - you have me, and my cars for life. Thank you!

After really awful service at a nearby shop, I knew I was being taken for a ride. The mechanic who told said the axles were practically falling off and it would cost me $3000 when I had just had a full inspection done recently and nothing was wrong with them. I couldnt believe they could go bad so fast, and there wasnt noise coming from them at all. I read the wonderful reviews for C&R Tire and took my vehicle there for a 2nd opinion. They were such straight shooters, and treated me with respect (hard to get in auto shops as a women at times). Shocker: axel are not falling off the car, but there were a few minor issues I was made aware of and Physically shown on the car. I was given a fairly priced estimate and told it did not need to happen immediately. I will 100% go back to C&R and reccomend them to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, honest shop that looks out for their customers!

This is a superlative establishment. They service all of my fleet and personal vehicles. The GM Mitch is a great guy and the rest of the team has allways been very helpful.They are incredibly competent and honest mechanics that do excellent work expeditiously, at very competitive rates. Was looking for an alignment shop and came upon C&R. I like that they offered a two wheel alignment when everyone is pushing the four wheel which I didn’t need. They did not try to upsell me and got me in and out quickly. I am happy with the work performed and will definitely go back.

NEVER AGAIN!!!! WORST PLACE EVER!!! Changed out much transmission on my Cadillac Escalade and it went out again a month later. They fixed it again and replaced the torque converter with an incorrect one and it broke my crank shaft. These are only the facts!!! WORST PLACE EVER!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Very good customer service

So it all started when I initially brought my car to C & R for an oil change. They gave me a list of things from the inspection that said things from my suspension needed to be fixed but none of them were an emergency so they didn’t need to be worked on right away. Not too long later my check engine light turned on. So I brought it back to them and they told me my engine intake air hose was cracked and needed to be replaced. That was $810. A day and a half later, as I was driving, my engine started to overheat. So I pulled over, lifted up my hood, and a part of my engine intake air hose was dangling in my car and my radiator cooling fan was broken. I thought this seemed to be a huge coincidence that I had just taken my car there and now there were multiple problems within the area they were working on and probably touching and moving things around in, in order to do work on the part I just had replaced by them. Meanwhile, Mitchell has texted me asking how the work they had done has been going for me and i explained that their work hadn’t gone well and he never replied to any of my messages. So I got my car towed back to C & R and on that following Monday, they called and told me I needed my housing thermostat and Radiator fan replaced and that would be an extra $1800. When I went to the shop to talk to them in person, I thought how much of ANOTHER coincidence it was that the person in front of me was paying for a housing thermostat and radiator fan replacement as well. I gave C & R the okay to do the work to my car because at that point, there would be no way to get my car back in working condition unless I got all of the things fixed. Which was now $2600. After I gave them the OK, I called the shop I usually go to and trust and explained everything C & R had told me and they told me that it all seemed a little fishy and that it actually sounded like I needed the thermostat censors replaced which is a couple hundred dollars cheaper. When I brought that up to C & R before that had done any work on my car, they went back on their words and what they had told me and essentially said “well actually what my technician is saying is that it’s actually doing this and not what we originally told you.” UGH. So of course I was upset at that but there was absolutely nothing I could do about it so I just said OK and continued to have them do the work on my car. When I got my car back the next day, I opened my door, and there was a tear in the leather on my seat! There was sticky stuff on it as if they attempted to glue it back together temporarily or something. This whole experience has been super sketchy and shady and I would absolutely not recommend them. The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one is because they have this nice feature that gives you an option to pay over a period of 12 months but is not a credit card and has no interest as long as you pay it within 100 days. If I can figure out how to post pictures on here, I will post a picture of the tear in my seat.

I drove immediately to C & R. Took my car right away, for testing. Gave me a lift home, and for 4 hours I dreaded a huge car financial set back. Happiness when the call came and the problem was an $18.00 melted fuse. This and all of my car issues solved by these guys speaks volumes. I would have never known the difference if they had found a much larger problem.With all that is going on, today and always, again.....TRUSTWORTHY, going on 21 years.

These guys are fairly priced, they do fantastic work, and they have the appropriate slightly annoyed look that one expects all mechanics to have. My go to mechanics

First time ever...flat tire I went to the tire shop. He gave me an estimate. But then later I realized that I might have warranty on my tire from Costco. I told them that I will go to Costco since the tire cant be repaired and I need to replace it. They offer to put air in the tire so I can drive to Costco. (It was so thoughtful of them). Later in the day I realized that the tire in not under warranty. So I drove back to C and R tire shop and purchase a new tire with warranty, at the same price as Costco. I would differently go back again if I need new tires or have a tire repair. They were professional, courteous and time efficient.

Ive been coming to C&R tire for years and have always had a great experience. They are honest and always have the customers satisfaction as their best interest. They even told me before that I would save money going through another shop for a certain car part than ordering it through them. They will continue to have my business and I recommend this shop to anyone.

After shopping around I spoke to Ashley at C&R and could not have been more pleased with the interaction. Ashley thanked me for giving her shop the opportunity, took my information and told me shed research the work I was requesting and said shed get back to me in a bit with a bid. She contacted me within an hour with a full understanding of the job and included some options as well. She did not pressure me but was clearly ready to move as quickly as I was ready. I stopped by the same afternoon and spoke directly to Ashley and met Nicholas. Together they made me very comfortable that all my needs would be met and I left my vehicle with them. The job was done to my satisfaction and in the time frame promised for the quoted price, which was better than all others. I will return without hesitation for my future service and repairs.

This place was great! They made a not so fun experience that much better! Not only did they give me a ride back to work so I didnt have to Uber, but they offered to pick me up after my vehicle was done being worked on! I was at C & R Tire on Raintree today. I always dread going to mechanics. So many times they tell me I need something I dont and try to scare me into getting it done NOW. Not so today. Ralph the owner was such a great guy! Honesty and integrity are so rare these days! Ralph not only told me what will be needed in the future, he SHOWED me! I did an intentional cost comparison between my Lexus dealer and C and R and they have easily saved me thousands of dollars. Very high level of integrity and wont sell you something you dont need. ... and Ive never had to leave my car with them overnight. Also never a follow up text asking how my car was running after the last work was completed.

Sad Im leaving Scottsdale. Ive been getting service here for 3years and not once been disappointed. Best mechanics in the central Arizona area. Honestly I wish there was one in Florida. They are honest and dont try to surcharge. If you want someone who can tell you exactly the whats wrong and fix it with out you having to go back to shop 3 and 4 times. This is the place!

I attempted to use the services at this establishment. I needed an oil change done over the course of approximately 2 and a 1/2 hours. I told them my time frame and that I needed 20 minutes to be able to drive to get my son from school. They said they could get it in and get it done.As a result, I did all of the other things I could do in the area, made phone calls, and generally wasted 2 and a 1/2 hours. The last half hour I spent waiting in the waiting room.Only at the mark when I had to leave did the manager of the establishment Just then go into the parking lot to bring my vehicle in to perform the oil change. I stopped him, and let him know that I was out of time, that its 20 minutes drive to my boys school and that I needed to go. He apologized and I told him that I had let the girl know when I check my vehicle in that I had that time constraint. She had told me some 10 to 15 minutes earlier that my vehicle was being pulled in right then.This was of course incorrect. I have no idea whether it was her fault, the managers fault, or simply things getting out of their hands. I do know that I spent somewhere between 2 to 3 hours hang around to have my vehicle not worked on.Maybe these people are dynamite in the shop, but my truck never got into the shop, its sat in the parking lot for something like 2 and a 1/2 hours without being worked on.That is whyhy I rendered a one star review, 2.5 hours wasted, no oil change.

Im revising my previous review. I wrote a review upon receipt of my truck. Since then I had a moment to look more closely. I did the service there (Rotate and balance) on my truck in preparation for a trip towing a heavy trailer.What I found...First, I got the truck home and found the rear disc pads almost down to metal, something they should have spotted immediately. I didnt have time for this and had they noticed, they could have gotten a brake job out of it. Lost business for them.Second, I had to do the brake job myself, which like I said, I didnt have time for. Upon trying to remove the tires to do the brakes I found they had used an Impact to torque the lug nuts. I had to use a 30 cheater pipe on a breaker bar to even get the nuts busted loose. Had I had a flat on the road, I would have never had the tools to do this and this would have left me stranded until I could get a tow truck out, let alone the expense of that on a holiday weekend.Fortunately, Im a competent mechanic and can fix this all myself. I did call the store and let them know they need to train their mechanics. They offered on Monday to do the brakes and torque the lug nuts properly, which I had to do myself for my trip, but why not do it right the first time? Lost a customer with 4 vehicles.

I initially found C & R Tire when calling around to check tire prices. I purchased a set of tires for my Audi A6 from them and discovered they are a full service shop. I subsequently took my Audi to C & R for the 35,000 mile service. Not only was C & Rs price about half of what the Audi dealership quoted, the customer service from Jeff and his crew is unbeatable. They took me home after I dropped the car off, picked me up when the service was completed, and followed up to make sure I was satisfied. C & R is first rate and I would highly recommend them.

Absolutely the best! I had my car towed to C & R and they called me with a diagnosis before I even had the chance to call them to let them know it was there! Needed a new alternator and battery ... and the guys at C&R reached out to the auto parts retailer I bought my last battery at and arranged for me to get a new one at no cost. Fantastic service - Ill never go anywhere else ever again.

We have a small fleet of sedans/SUVs for our limo business and have been using C&R for over 5 years. Their service is amazing and they always get us in and out fast. If our vehicles are in the shop, they arent making money so time and quality service are extremely important to us and C&R always hits the mark on both of those. We have used C&R for just about everything from new tires and oil changes to transmission and engine replacements. They can do it all!

Had no problem getting a convenient appointment for my cars oil change & was in & out quicker than expected (especially valuable since most of us are pressed for time these days), the cherry on the sundae was that there was absolutely no charge as it was part of their customer appreciation anniversary gift - that should tell you theyre pretty special - I dont know of any other auto service place that does this for their customers!!!

For a while I owned four used cars which meant there was always one of them needing an oil change, tires rotated or some type of repair. C & R fixes the problem with a guarantee. I can schedule an appointment and they will generally get my car in at the time they say. They are good guys who do good work.

Was able to schedule an appointment for a day that was convenient to me. I dropped my car off on a Friday night and Saturday at 8:30am they called me to let me know what was wrong and things that needed attention. They were very good at explaining everything and even helped find discounts for me since I was a AAA member. Jeff was super understanding about the financial aspect of the repairs and needing some time to figure out the payment aspect. Things winded up working out to where I could pay for it immediately instead of a couple of days for payday. All work was completed and picked up by 2pm. I would definitely use them again. Everyone I interacted with were super friendly & the fact that they went out of their way to even find me discounts impressed me since most times you need to research that on your own. Also, it was super close to my job so it cost the same amount to use Lyft for my dropoff and pick up of my vehicle.

I came here a few years ago after being treated rudely and dishonesty by another shop. Long story short Jeff stepped up and really put my mind and ease resolving the situation. Not only that, he billed the other shop for having to fix their work and did not charge me! 4 cars later I still come here even though its about 30 min away. I make the time because they make the time for me. Its hard to find a good, honest auto shop so when you do, hang on like I did. thank you!

I had a great experience here. The staff was friendly and the mechanics were honest. The manager went above and beyond in my opinion to help me out. After moving here from Wisconsin, both of our cars suffered. They went through my Altima and found what was wrong with it and offered the solutions to get it repaired and back on the road. Nobody likes to hear that their A.C. went out in June in Arizona, but they found the best solution to get it fixed and guarantee their work.I will bring my car back here in the future.

Worst mechanic I have ever been to, I took my Mercedes to put new tires on it and get an alignment after I professionally got a new rack and pinion on it as well as new control arms and new bushing and they showed me the new bushing I had JUST put on the car were ripped when they werent before so this shop had ripped my bushings to make some money and also told me that the rack and pinion tie rods were indexed completely centered and that there was room for adjustments for an alignment and also said that my front brake pads were put on backwards when they were not and they even bothered to mention that they will still put the new tires on even if they cant align the car! These are the stupidest mechanics I have ever been to and are just trying to make more money off rich people with nice cars thinking they dont know anything about their cars! FYI I TOOK MY MERCEDES TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID EVERYTHING WAS PERFECTLY ADJUSTED FOR AN ALIGNEMNT AND NO BRAKE PADS WERE BACKWARDS AND THAT EVEN IF THEY WERE IT WOULD NOT MATTER BECAUSE TE PADS ARE ALL THE SAME SIZE AND SHAPE AND COULD BE PUT ON IN ANY WAY. I have already reported this business and have written papers from mercedes saying there is nothing wrong with the car and I have pictures and everything of the car before and after everything that these stupid money craving mechanics did an said about my Mercedes.

After buying my used car from a private party, I drove it straight to C&R. They checked everything out and changed all of the fluids to make sure I wasnt getting a lemon. And to top it all off, I was given a discounted rate! I love my new automobile and am glad I found C&R.

Purchased new wheels and tires from a competitor, they could not solve the vibration of the front tires, took it in to C&R, solved the issue 1 time and for a very cheap price.Thank you Joel for getting me in sameday and I will bring my Subaru back for routine servicing.

Like so many others, I walked into C & R top of the morning with a problem. I had a flat and needed to be out of there early enough to drive to Tucson (2 hours away) for a meeting. Shortly after me came 3 other customers with issues that all appeared to need emergency surgery (in our own minds). I immediately simmered down after watching Jeff Mc Nulty carefully listen, de-escalate each emergency, including my own, set expectations and offer solutions. I had an immediate change in attitude. Premier customer service! I will spare details but I was all set and on the road ahead of schedule. Jeff demonstrated that the highest level of customer service still exists and C & R understands the importance of it.
