Absolutely phenomenal experience. The front office staff was fun and energetic and great company while the mechanic, who was amazingly thorough and knowledgeable, worked on my car. I was in the area while my sister was in the hospital, but wish I lived closer so I could have them for my regular maintenance on my car. Top notch people and service!
Terrible, at first it was all going great.. They told me everything was fine with my car other than I need to get two new tires next oil change. Then I got my car was getting ready to leave it started knocking the engine and the codes said malfunction engine and the one guy was smart knew you cant drive a car like that, the other guy says just pull it in Bay, I called my goodness he said do not let them drive finally they pushed it in and eventually fixed whatever they messed up, or didnt do was really scary when I went in had no idea that a simple oil change could result in traumatic experience, they didnt even offer anything off our my money back..Was very disappointing experience...
We use Midas Scottsdale for regular oil changes and tire rotations. Recently, I had my passenger side window motor break leaving my car wide open in the hot Phoenix summer. I was able to call ahead and go straight over, and my car was fixed in less than 24 hours. Friendly team and efficient service!
Trucks battery died. Late in the day and got a jump from Milo. Went to Midas and Lisa called several places to find my battery and Chris installed it. All were helpful and showed they cared!! Great service and friendly!

Lisa, and the entire staff that I have met are always friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up in the hospital the day after I had to drop my vehicle off for some work. When they called to tell me that my vehicle was ready for pick up, I explained my situation, and they not only told me not to worry and that it could stay at the shop till it was ready, but I also got a call from Lisa just to check on me to see how I was feeling. If thats not going above and beyond with customer service, I dont know what is. I have only taken my vehicle here for oil changes, but they had to do full diagnostics and repairs on a few things that were acting up. They shopped around for the best part prices and were so helpful through this entire experience that they now have a forever customer. Thank you Lisa and the entire Midas staff! 10/10 would highly recommend!

Bought an aftermarket straight pipe online and tried installing it ourselves and ran into some problems. It took us a little while before we realized that we couldn’t do it ourselves. We took it took Midas and they had it done in 30 minutes. Great quality everything fits perfect and sounds great. Will definitely go back to Midas whenever I run into any problems.

Have had a positive experience every time I have gone to this location. Lisa and Andrew at the front are very friendly and always willing to go above and beyond for my car needs. They are very efficient and get my car back to me as soon as possible. They dont try to overcharge or get you to do things for your car that arent necessary immediately. DONT GET AN OIL CHANGE HERE!!! If I could give negative stars, I would... Went in for an oil change and was upsold on an air filter, which actually did need to be changed. It was caked. Now I dont have a single security clip in my air filter cover, NOR my undercarriage! The undercarriage was obviously yanked down by a lazy mechanic who didnt bother to remove the engine cover before changing my oil. Now its split in multiple places, including where it attaches to the wheel well splash guards, and its become a DANGEROUS DRIVING HAZARD to myself and other motorists, if it comes completely apart while Im on the road.

Used a coupon for a full synthetic oil change at a great price. I have a tile floor and noticed oil spots where this car parks. My wife took car back in within a week and they said it was from oil spilled during change, possible. Now 3 weeks later and car still leaking. My wife works until 5 and the last appointment they schedule is 4. Why should she have to take time off for their error? Consumer complaints with corporate is so busy they have not called me back. Saving a few dollars is not worth the aggravation of using Midas.

I paid $80 for an oil change. It says they do a look over, over the vehicle during servicing. My oil is now leaking on a 2 year old professionally well maintained car. After not even 1,500 miles since my oil change I now have an oil leak. Not only is that alone, ridiculous. I was always harassed by another customer inside the waiting area. First time coming here and now it’s the only time anything has broke on my car.
This place is my new go-to place for my cars oil change. Lisa is sooooo nice and accommodating and theyre very quick. I used to go to Walmart for my oil change and used to dred it. Not anymore!

I am very sad to write this review because I have always loved Midas. They have always been professional and honest. But I recently took my car to this Midas to get an oil change. When I went to pick it up the GENERAL MANAGER told me that I needed nearly $2,500 in repairs. I needed new front end suspension and new control arms.After a few days of driving the skid plate fell off the bottom of my car. Midas must have lost some of the hardware used to properly attach the skid plate when doing the oil change. I had driven about 10 miles on the highway, once I reached my destination my skid plate was hanging on by one screw. That entire time the skid plate was rubbing up agains the inner wall of one of my tires. I brought the car back and they attempted to fix the issue, however not a single person apologized and it took weeks to get the proper parts to fix my car. If they are willing to cut corners on something this small what else are they cutting corners on?IT GETS WORSE. Because I noticed the lack of professionalism and honesty with them trying to hide a poorly attached skid plate, I decided to get a second opinion on the other issues they said I needed to address. I brought my car to a Brakes Plus (Which I highly recommend, they are a full service mechanic, they have better prices than Midas and they are upfront, honest people. Unlike the individuals working at Midas, they tell you what you need and do not lie about maintenance that is not needed.) I explained my experience with Midas to Brakes Plus and they assured me that they would tripple check my front end suspension. Brakes Plus told me that my suspension was in PERFECT working condition and shows ZERO signs of needing replacement any time soon.Do yourself and your WALLET a favor, never go to Midas. Your Car will always have issues that dont exist. It is disgusting how this location takes advantage of people.

DO NOT TRUST THE MIDAS TOUCH. I read reviews online before going and was very hopeful that I would receive excellent service. However, I am beyond disgusted with the service I received today.I went in for a tire alignment. I was told that my tire rods were frozen, and they would need to be replaced before the car could be aligned. I was initially quoted over $1000. I then said let me call my dad and went outside to do so. During this time the price magically dropped to just over $800. Before making this big purchase, I went to my dads house and had him pull off the tire to inspect the rods. They were not even touched. They are very dusty and dirty and any effort made would have been very apparent.We then went to Big O Tires under the premise that we were just needing a tire alignment and there was not even a mention of tire rods being a problem. They were able to get everything taken care of for just over $100. We also asked at the end to confirm that there was no issue and they said none.I did not get an alignment from Midas, it would have been impossible for them to do given my tire rods were frozen. It is very obvious that this did in fact not receive any decent service and was instead treated with dishonesty.Do yourself a favor, never go to Midas.
I took my car here a couple of days ago to have my AC checked and they were fantastic. They honored the price on the Groupon without me having to purchase the Groupon. They evacuated and recharged my AC and it works so much better than it did before. I am very satisfied with this location. They also had great customer service.

Ok I have a 2008 Mini Cooper S turbo, it is so much fun and I wanted to up the ante a bit...Short answer... they do CUSTOM exhaust work! Lisa hooked it up at a price I was happy with and made sure I got EXACTLY what I wanted!My story...You can go online and throw money at what some company decided gave them the best price point...OR..you go here and get EXACTLY what you want.I wanted a FULL 3 exhaust with a race cat...Im doing a K04 hybrid turbo swap and need the extra space to help the new compressor side spool up... I dont care if everyone else things 2.5 is good enough... Even without the swap in, I get the least restriction so that little turbo can spool as fast as possible, thus giving me ALL THE PONIES!Seriously awesome work. I am going to have to go back in and see if they will install an electric cutout so I can run it straight pipe or muffler sleeper status. I love the crackle and pop!Thanks Lisa!PS I would ALSO trust them to change my oil...and thats something.

They took FOREVER just to change my oil and check my brakes. My brakes were not bad and could have easily been changed for new pads. They tried to charge me over 500$ for rotors. Went some where else and got brakes for 120$. Definitely will not go back even for the oil groupon.
Another great visit today! I had my brakes done. They were done fast and for a great price. Lisa is the shop manager and she is always very friendly and informative. She goes above and beyond each and every visit which is really cool. Its so nice to be able to come into a shop and be at ease that I am being taken care of, not taken advantage of. This is my go to for all of my car care needs!
They dont enforce a mask policy and the people who work there dont wear mask either, this is shocking that they dont follow the states protocol for face coverings in public.
I had my car towed there to fix the issues and when I picked up my car they told me me the car has no problems after changing three part now and it’s fine for me to go anywhere around. But after I arrived home, the check engine light was on! Only 15 mins later! I went back and the staff told me it’s okay but just the new parts need to adjust the system so I need to drive 50 miles then it will turn off. Then I did but the battery light was on after that! I didn’t know why then went back again then they told me the alternator need to replace too. I asked them why they didn’t notice that when they did full inspection they said I didn’t ask. But the car had no problem on battery before I took it in and the check engine light was still on after many days! So not responsive...

The receptionist are excellent; especially Alex, hes super nice and very informative & helpful. They also accommodated me by helping me get my Buddy Genuine 125cc scooter fixed! They seriously rock! This place has the nicest people in it. I live in Tucson and had to make it down there asap so they took my car in after closing hours and looked at it first thing in the morning. Gave me honest opinions and really did care. Had to tow it back and they didnt charge me w dime. I wanted to give this shop the benefit of the doubt but this last service pushed me over the edge and cost me over $1600. My car was working absolutely fine before I brought it in, it just needed an oil change . They had been pushing this high mileage royal flush or whatever on me for a while because my car did have high mileage so I said okay, lets see if it needs it. They did all the service, did NOT check if it actually needed it. Just did it. When I got the paperwork back there was nothing on that sheet that indicated they even checked those lines, not to mention the battery. Which is standard with EVERY service. I got my car back and a couple days later it overheats. Another mechanic looked at and said he could tell right away what they did wrong, however I still had to tow it back to Midas since they were the ones that just did service on it. Instead of owning up to anything they proceed to tell me I have a leak in my radiator and its going to cost me another $500 to fix. A leak that I did not have before. According to them, when they fix other things, weaker areas of the car will break. Im so done with this place. They charged me over $200 to replace spark plugs on top of all that. A job that costs less than $50 at any other shop, including the dealership. I feel completely ripped off from a shop Ive trusted for some time.

Lisa is awesome! I brought my car in for the first time with a list of services another car shop told me I needed for hundreds of dollars. I told Lisa my story. She took the car and checked it out. Turns out I didnt need $250 worth of new brakes and pads and she charged me exactly half what the other place was going to charge me for the same services. I highly recommend Lisa at the Midus on 90th St in Scottsdale!

A few weeks ago I learned an axle on my car was broken during an inspection they performed with my Groupon for an alignment. Due to having cancer I was unable to afford any type of repairs at the time and they did as much as they were able to do without adding any additional charges. Today my second visit went even better. I had my axle replaced yesterday and I needed a new alignment. I noticed something was leaking but I couldnt locate what it was. So Lisa and Milo offered to perform the alignment free of charge under the warranty, and also inspect the vehicle. During the inspection the mechanic noticed a few issues and the power steering line was leaking. Knowing I could not afford any type of services the manager Lisa and Milo glanced at each other and asked if I had a few moments, Milo returned and smiled kinda me back my keys and informed me he replaced the power steering lines and he wasnt going to charge me for it, they manager Lisa stated she wouldnt bill it either and I was astonished at their courtesy and commitment to Professional Service and this community. I am a proud Scottsdale resident, and I will definitely refer any family or friend that needs Services performed to this location. Thank you Lisa and thank you my love, dont forget Manny in the back as well he also took great care of me on my first visit.
Thats place is great but the best is the shop manager her name is Lisa McFerran shes awesome and highly intelligent. She knows more about cars then most men do extremely nice young lady. Go there and ask for her, she will gladly help you..
Greg and his staff understand customer service. Last year they helped my daughter in-law with an exhaust issue. They did not even charge her for the repairs they made, they said just keep us in mind for future work. Since then we have been back several times and the service has been great.
Among the things I know very little of is cars and reviews, but what I do know, without a doubt, is that the Midas on 90th St. provides some of the best service Ive ever seen in my life. I have never dealt with such patient, generous and helpful people before anywhere! Originally got my brakes done there and have been going back ever since for just small questions or checkups. These people go out of their way to not only explain but show me, all while providing AMAZING customer service! This place truly upholds its values! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I had new tires put on few back from a Midas @ another Scottsdale location. Given great service there, I assumed to just go to the same company, but a closer location to work. Since my tire blew out first thing in the morning, I contacted Midas to see if they had the same tires I had put on the front. I was told they would have to bring it in from another location. And that it wouldnt be long, a few hours. It turned out to be 7 hrs, which had I had been informed originally that it would take that long, I could have made other arrangements to get new tires put on else where. As well as not lose time from taking off from work. Honesty goes a long way. And I gave my business elsewhere due to the fact that I had to call 3x to see where the tires were on estimated time arrival. Only for it to be delivered way longer than I was originally told.
Been here three times over the last three years. Despite whats been written by others Ive had no complaints. Have used coupons etc and there was never a problem. I dont doubt some of the other reviews and cant imagine why customers would be treated so badly...ever, but not my experience. BTW, I went to the BBB website. They rate Midas as a company A+, and, so far as I can find, dont rate individual locations. So, the F rating in some of the reviews seems suspect. Cheers.
I would avoid this place. They wanted to charge over 100 to look at my car. I went to Brake masters on Scottsdale just north of Shea which looked at them for free and told me my brakes still had a decent amount of life in them and didnt charge me. From my experience, when a place wants to charge you to look at your car for something simple, youre going for a ride. I was tempted to come back here and pay them to check it out to see if they said I needed new pads. I bet they would have.
Listen to the poor review. Consumer beware. They will try to add on additional charges even IF YOU HAVE A COUPON. It will not be respected and you WILL have to pay more money than you expect. If you like random added fees, this is your place. Fortunately they are friendly, which is why they earned one star. Professionally, this place is a HALF STAR-they do not do business correctly.Alex Larson - Took car in for 9:30 A.M, Sat, DEC 30 apt for brake pad Groupon and was told they would not put on new brake pads because they had to fix several other, semi-unrelated problems. Just had them put everything back together and got my keys. A better business will be getting my money for this.

I usually shop prices around the area and, without knowing, they generally beat the competition by 25% to 30%. Customer for life.

****NEW OWNERSHIP****The new owners are running a great shop that stands on a firm foundation of integrity. Another shop wanted to charge me for a cracked cat and to replace it. This shop found the problem was simply the heat shield welds came off. It was a simple fix that cost me less than $50.Thank you for the great customer service and I will be back!

I brought my car in for an ac repair. They had my car for several hours. They told me they changed out the freon (which I was later told by someone that you just add more if it is low). Then they attempted to change out the modular. Again something other mechanics questioned. The new modular didnt work. I was told they needed another day to diagnose the problem.I should mention right here that my ac worked while driving and didnt work at all when I left.I decided for convenience that I wouldtake the car somewhere closer to work. The next place questioned what was done and noticed my ac gauges were way off. They released some freon and the AC worked again. They said I was lucky because it could have caused a lot of damage to other things due to over heating.I ended up finding a friend of a friend that works primarily on ACs and he said that Midas put in almost two times the amount of freon needed. I am only supposed to have 1.81 pounds of freon and I had 3.18 pounds. Its not hard to find the pounds needed it is right under the hood.I was asked if Midas mentioned maybe needing a new AC kit. I said they mentioned it being 1200-2000 for a new AC kit.The mechanic said that if I had driven around for a week the way it was I would have needed a whole new kit. Thats what they were trying to do. Break it more so I needed a complete change. I didnt need a whole new kit and now my ac works great.I have used Midas before but never again. No effing way.

I wish I could give this shop a negative number. DO NOT GO HERE! I brought my car here after moving to the valley because I was accustomed to Midas doing great work. This Midas does not do quality work. First it took a week to get the suspension done. A Week! When I picked up the car I noticed the right mirror was broken. The manager swore that there was nothing his guys could have done to break the mirror and actually started blaming me for breaking it before dropping it off. After seeing he wasnt going to fix his mistake I thought as long as the suspension was fixed I would just move on as this isnt that costly of a repair.Wait it gets worse. My wife was the one who drove the car away and when we stopped she said it sounded like a bunch of loose bolts rattling around. I drove it and sure enough, sounded like loose bolts. I call the manager and tell him something is wrong. He has me drop it off and I wait ANOTHER WEEK to get my car back. Before I picked it up I asked the manager if it had been test driven (since obviously it wasnt the first time. He said it was.I picked up the car AND IT STILL HAD THE SAME NOISE! I asked him to ride with me. Within 10ft he says oh yeah, I hear the noise - thats not right. And he admitted there was no way anyone could have test driven the car and not heard the noise - IT WAS LOUD AND SOUNDED LIKE THE CAR WAS FALLING APART! So HE LIED about the test drive!Finally after 3 MORE DAYS I finally got the car back. It still had a knock in the suspension but the rattle was gone. I finally gave up and took it to another Midas for warranty work to figure out the noise. They found that it had a broken shock mount and a bad shock. The work was done in a couple of hours and done correctly at no charge.If you dont want your car trashed, if you want the work done correctly, if you dont want to waist your time, if you dont want to be lied to DO NOT GO TO THIS MIDAS LOCATION!!!!
Came in with a Groupon for a brake change with an appointment. It took them 51 minutes to even pull my car into the garage, despite having made an appointment. I definitely will not be returning. I waited for over 2.5 hours for a simple brake change.
I have taken my familys four cars to this Midas repair shop over the past few years and feel that they have always provided good, honest work. I cant imagine thinking anything but positive reviews about them. Im quite surprised by some of the reports. I think you should trust them!
Alex turned what was a very upsetting situation into a situation I could accept and handle. I understand my car needs more work, but we were able to fix the pressing problem and get me back on the road. Good job!!

Really great service and fair price. The Manager was awesome helping a senior out with a Groupon for another location. She matched the price and took the time to help him get a refund on his Groupon.

I had my oil changed at this location for the last year and was happy with the service. The Groupon I routinely use for synthetic oil changes includes tire rotation during each visit.A representative at Discount Tire recently evaluated the condition of all four tires on my Toyota Prius, and he noticed extreme edge wear on both front tires but none on the rear. He expressed doubt that, due to the abnormal tire wear, rotations were ever carried out.With regularly maintained tire pressures and a balanced wheel alignment, I have no other explanation for the improper wear on my tires than negligence on behalf of Midas to carry out rotations.Tires have 20,000 miles on 70,000-mile guarantee yet now need to be replaced as front tire edges are bald.
Went there with groupon for front brakes and they hit me with a bill for $1,527.98. I could not afford this so they said they could change front pads with no guarantee. The worst of it on top of $60.00 I paid for groupon they charged me an extra $23.77.These were not ceramic brake pads. Very disappointed.
I had come in for a break pad replacement and made an appointment. Was told the inspection part would last no longer than 45 minutes. Had a babysitter canceled on me and so I needed to leave. After already having been there for 55 minutes I let them know this and noticed they were just now taking off my wheels for an inspection. At which time I asked the person working there to have them stop and replace the wheels so that I could leave. After he came back in I then asked the same employee why they had even had appointment if the car literally sat on jacks for 50 minutes. Before he can answer the manager interrupted our conversation and even after I asked her to let me continue the conversation, she continued to talk and she still defended her actions and said I shoved a hand in her face. At which time she then told me I must go outside and wait outside in a 100°+ heat.
I was not happy with the service here. I was told it would be an 1hr or less wait, but I was there for 1 1/2 hours. I came for an alignment, but after the alignment was done I was informed that they werent able to align the front wheels any more and I would have to take it to a dealership. I inquired about the 6 month warranty and that if the car goes out of alignment that I could come back in to have it aligned. I was informed that they wouldnt do the alignment again until I took it into a dealership. I was charged for the alignment job that wasnt even done correctly! The alignment feels even worse now and when I called in to ask about it they told me that they wouldnt refund me and I could bring it back to have it alined, even though I was told by another rep that they wouldnt align it. I wont be returning to this location.
This Midas does NOT deserve ANY stars! They deserve absolutely 0 as in ZERO stars. Absolutely HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Terrible customer service!!! The only woman that was working up front SHOULD BE FIRED! I honestly hope she burns in hell for wasting my valuable time for absolutely NO REASON! I scheduled an appointment 3 days ahead of time for a wheel alignment and still had to wait over 2 hours for them to get it done because the woman working up front was ignorant as hell. She was rude, unhelpful, and extremely ignorant. When I asked how long it would take, she told me about an hour. It has been over 2 hours and Im still sitting here waiting for my wheel alignment to be done. I would NEVER return to this Midas location for any work on my car. AVOID THIS MIDAS LOCATION IF YOU WANT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! If I would have known that this was how it was going to be, I would have avoided this place AT ALL COSTS!!!BEWARE!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
The service is very good! On the phone the guy was a bit rude bit in person he was super cool.This place is a tad pricy and there are better deals elsewhere but for a quick job, theyll get it done quick.
