I purchased a 57th Presidential Inaugural License Plate for $125.00, and the license plate was packaged poorly (without any reinforcements) and arrived damaged and bent up.The loriferber.com website advertised an identical license plate still in stock, so I naturally inquired about a replacement. I was told to send the damaged plate back, and I paid for return postage. But first, being a collector, I carefully straightened out the damaged license plate, for which I was complemented by the business for the straightening work, thereafter.When I received the replacement, Id been sent a 56th Presidential Inaugural license plate, instead of a 57th Inaugural, as Id originally purchased... but at least that one arrived well packaged and in perfect condition.When I informed the business of this additional error, I was then told that theyd thought by mistake that the two license plates were duplicate items, and did not realize the difference, although the graphic is completely different on these two plates. Therefore (or, so they thought) they only had the original damaged license plate to offer me back, at this point, as a replacement. No offer of discounting the original item was made.In fairness, Lori apologized several times by email, and I found no bad reviews of the business at all. But all communication was by email after things went wrong, and none of my phone calls were returned.UPDATE: Turns out LoriFerber.com did have a replacement 57th Inaugural License Plate, after all. She (or someone else at the business) had sent the replacement to me, and didnt even remember theyd sent it, nor remembered having had it in the first place... because they also sent me back the damaged item again, as well.So now I was in posession of two identical plates (the one previously damaged, plus the replacement which arrived in mint condition, despite a repeat offense of completely inadequate protective packaging).Being honest, I phoned the business to inform them of their doubled order replacement, and they confirmed that it was another blunder. So this time around they will be sending me out a mailing label for me to return their previously damaged item... yet again!As I said above, the replacement item made it this time without any damage, but it was still NOT packaged to prevent damage such as had already occurred... the previously damaged item, however, that was packaged quite well!I dont understand how a reputable business could have repeated this mistake, and risked damaging my replacement license plate... and the only replacement available, as it turns out.Three negative points:1. I dont understand how a business that deals in long time sales of Presidential memorabilia would not have sought to protect my original purchase with adequate packaging, and repeated the exact same risk with the replacement item?2. I dont understand how a collectables dealer would not know the diffetence between the 57th and 56th Presidential Inaugural License Plates?3. And I dont understand how all of this could transpire at the fault of the business, and a customer not be offered any kind of financial discount for all of this, nor be reimbursed for my additional shipping costs of returning the damaged item, the first time?Personally, this was Not a good first experience for me with this online business, not at all! So I probably will not trust attempting to do business with them again in the future.

I have ordered from Lori Ferber Collectibles several times. I find their prices fair and the service excellent. Items are safely packed and shipped quickly. They have access to items that are often not available from other vendors. Their website is well set up and ordering is safe and secure.
