I am so glad I found this record store. I went in looking for a box to safely ship my sons valuable LP collection across country. I came out with a renewed sense of community. This is a tiny record store with a huge warehouse and online presence, to go with their huge hearts.When inquiring about the best way to pack LPs, employee Elvis took me in the warehouse and showed me exactly how they carefully wrap and pack stacks of records for shipment all over the world. He then offered to wrap and pack my sons collection for a nominal fee so that I could ship them myself without buying all the supplies. They didnt have to do that for me, it was purely a community service and has renewed my faith in the value added by patronizing a small business over a chain store (which would NEVER have even offered).Smartly decorated and well organized, this little store is tucked away just south of Redfield Road in the Scottsdale Airpark. A hidden gem indeed. They have been buying and selling vinyl online for over 20 years. Only in the last 2 years have they opened a physical store, and Im thrilled they are doing well. I will be back!

Super cool place to visit. The store front was not huge square footage wise but it is amazing how large of a selection of records fit in that amount of space! You can actually spend quite a while just browsing. We bought several albums while there, both new and used. Apparently they have a very large online selection as well. It is definitely worth a trip to check outif youre in the north Scottsdale area.

Great little shop. Huge supply of record collection, though most of them are online. Good selection in shop. They sell record players and equipment as well. Guys they were chill. Will stop again when the chance arises.

What a find. Elvis and Nick have a hidden gem here. Great guys and their store is incredible. I wont going anywhere else now.

The store front is awesome. Well worth the drive. They ultrasonically clean everything and accurately grade. Really impressed by the selection. All the staff Ive encountered is super friendly as well. I went in because I was in the area and needed a record cleaned, which they did for 2 bucks, and walked out with 4 vintage Jazz records and an OG beach boys 45 that Id been looking for forever. This will def be my go to when I need records cleaned and wanna dig a bit.

Had a amazing selection of vinyl! My son and I were there from 2 to 3 on 4/18 . We picked up 4 new albums. The guy working was very friendly and went out of his way to help. Great store.

Travelling through the southwest we stopped in Scottsdale for a few days, and I needed you find a record store. Found the Vinyl Record Dude and drove up to his shop.Its not in a typical strip mall, so dont be surprised when you show up in an office park. Its legit.The store front is small with a very good selection of pretty much every genre. If you dont find it in the front, he has thousands of records in the back as he primarily sells online.On to the important stuff... Price and quality. Ive shopped at record stores all around the country, and this store has some of the most reasonable prices for used vinyl. Records are graded fairly, and the owner will play it for you if you want a listen. I found an as is (like it looked bad) Rolling Stones album and he put it on his turntable and it sounded great. He even gave it an ultrasonic cleaning.I bought four albums (3 used 1 new) for about $54.If youre in Scottsdale, stop in to the Vinyl Dude. Browse, talk vinyl, buy and enjoy.

Initially went to their location in North Scottsdale only to find it was not a retail store. The man gave me an address in the north end of Phoenix for a store that carried all kinds of used stuff and they had quite a few records in the back all squeezed together. Apparently thats where the rwcord guy sells his stuff. It was difficult to flip through the way they were packed together but I got some good deals!!
