I had taken a couple of neighbors shopping at the store. One was looking for an item that was hard to find. The cashier helped us out with it and her recommendation was very helpful. I appreciate her help very much and wish I knew her name. I was unable to get it due to my own fault, not hers. I will be a regular customer at that store now.

It is one of the good dollar generals.The Manager mr mike is really nice.At one of the other Dollar General‘s I believe it was in bald knob there was a sale on some gardening stuff we used self check out. but for some reason the self check out had a glitch so we did not get the saleThe line was so long we couldn’t talk to the employee so we left we called them and told us we could go to the race Ave Dollar General where the manager helped us and and gave us money back for the sale. One of the better Dollar General‘s in the area.

This is for alot of us a wonderful place to go shopping for groceries, house cleaning supplies, meds. You name it they got it and oh my if youre into saving money by using the digital coupons its a great thing and I love saving money while being able to purchase what I need and want to shop for there. The staff is always a pleasure to chat with while checking my items out and quick no long waits. Thank you to all the friendly workers there, I love these people and the easy shopping experience all the time.👍👍👍💯

Store Associates could be more helpful and friendly. Product availability could be better. They need more staff working... lines are sometimes real long.

People need to stop buying everything up. The holiday truck isnt running this week. To give them time off for the holiday.

Store was unorganized. I bought drinks that were advertised on sale but was charged full price. I explained it repeatedly to the cashier and manager who told me I was wrong. Will not go back!!!

Dropped in looking for a quick gift. They sometimes have unique things you cant find anywhere else. Found it here! They were kitchen towels, hot pads and mitts with Bible verses on them.

Just ok. Doesnt have the inventory youd expect from a long established DG thats as big as this one is. Its clean, the ONE employee I saw was friendly. Theres just something I like better about the newer rurally located stores.

Prices are good but when busy, they only have 1 cashier so the line can get long.

Dollar General on Race St is excellent! Extremely clean, organized and spacious! Apx twice the size of most other DG Stores. You can walk down the aisles with your cart and not knock over a single display!

I am disabled and the staff got what i was looking for and took it to the register then after i paid for my items they carried them out to my car and put them in the seat for me . They were friendly and very helpful to me .

Can hardly ever go to a general and there not b boxed& other junk in the aisles. And then no one up front at cash register cause the cashier has to stock also.. um I know some people who want to work and have applied. There r a couple doll generals where police have to b called for theft and thats cause no one is ever hardly watching till its too late.. nice people but cluttered unwatched store.

Usually pretty fast about getting you thru the line, but if youre paying with anything but cash be prepared to argue with an older lady that is completely illiterate to new technology. I pay with my PayPal at these stores, and the staff there has absolutely no clue as to what magical sorcery Im using and God forbid if you have to return something. The manager there, older black haired lady, was rude to me to the point that I almost walked out if I hadnt needed my money. She kept telling me that I HAD TO TELL HER HOW TO DO IT although she is the employee and is supposed to be trained to every payment option in the store. She was rude, vagrant with her language, and made a show in front of the whole store raising her voice to me simply bc she didnt know what she was doing. It was a horrible experience and I havent shopped there since. I would rather drive the fifteen minutes to searcy than deal with the illiterate, rude, and hostile ppl I dealt with in this experience. One star. If I could vote zero I would. I do not recommend stopping unless absolutely necessary.
