Had an awesome experience here at Seaside Chrysler Dodge. I was given a good offer that I couldnt refuse I had even tried other places in San Jose where I was laughed at for trying to negotiate. Here I was treated way better and they where willing to negotiate, the customer service was awesome! Joel and Ivan where super cool people very down to earth very straight forward but also very helpful with negotiating the price. I got the usual stuff water, soda, popcorn. The day I went to pick up my car I was given burritos from el charrito which was super cool! Id definitely recommend this place to buy a new car.

ONLY giving one star to dealership unwilling to repair the damage or offer replacement of truck or compensation for the damages. The whole process of buying was fairly easy, besides manager had attitude when selling, saying hes staying late at work making me a favor. really though? Didnt really seem to care to sell the truck. Otherwise, they gave me a decent offer for my trade in, and even delivered truck to my house. The only problem is truck came in with interior rear glass seal damage. someone cut it and placed a duct tape over it. I either want a truck replacement, or just a seal replacement or a fair compensation for the damages. They are offering me a WHOLE GLASS replacement which is absurd. I am not replacing a new rear glass on a brand new truck.

This was our first time to visit this dealership I must say we were pleasantly surprised.1) They have their COVID-19 safety procedures very seriously. We feel very safe for doing our business over there.2) We bought RAM 1500.Our vehicle was also ready sooner than Expected. I never saw the loan procedure so smooth. My credit was also not good but I got my approval less than 15 mins. They gave us very good deal, Better than all other dealerships in California. We are from Sacramento but we will be back for our next car and will spread the word among friends how pleased we were.Thank You for treating us like family.

Jose was my salesman and he was great; sent many pics and a video. Bruce, the delivery driver was awesome! The car is in primo condition, as described. I am 6 hours from this dealer and they still delivered the car. This whole transaction was pretty scary, as I had a bad experience with a dealer in Fresno a week ago. On January 15th we took my Jeep here to have a shock replaced. They needed to order the part and it was on back-order. No worries they said, itll be about 2-3 weeks and we will call you. Fast forward to 3/1 (6 weeks later if anyone wants to keep track) and still no call. So we called them- requested an appointment for today 3/3 at 8:15 am & was told we could wait for it. Today comes, no we cannot wait for it but they will call us around 3pm once its done. 3:30pm no call. We call them and OH THE PART ISNT THERE...... 7 hours later. They arent sure who we talked to that confirmed it was in. We go to pick it up since apparently wasting our day is all we can seem to do here. Service rep told us it must have been a wrong number that we called......... Please explain then exactly how we had an appointment on the books when we arrived at 8:15am that morning? In conclusion, do not go here if you want service done in a timely manner. Do not go here if you wish to be blamed for their shortcomings. Oh and even if you talk to someone in their building be prepared for them to tell you it was a wrong number, even if that wrong number had all your vehicle history AND booked the appointment for you in their system.What. A. Joke.

Excellent customer service reps, particularly Mr. Surratt who is a true professional and should be recognized by the management team for the way he interacts with customers!Additionally, shuttle service to/from residence is excellent! I was expeditiously provided shuttle service and was promptly dropped off at my residence and similarly picked-up to be brought back to the dealership.Unfortunately (comically..) I have had to use this excellent shuttle service too many times, and had to endure multiple interactions with the excellent customer service from Mr. Surratt, as multiple successive appointments were made only to be told later that the repair was unable to be completed due to some issue. Though Mr. Surratt and the shuttle service are pleasant experiences, you can only have so much of a good thing..My experience started with coming in for an oil change early on a weekday afternoon. I was told that they were unable to get to it that day and was advised to make an appointment for the next day - which I did. Understandable, but I was under the impression that I was able to come in for an oil change without an appointment.. regardless, they were unable to get to it that day.I came back the next day at my scheduled time with no issues, but I never knew oil changes could take 1 hr 50 mins to complete. Though they were likely just under staffed, I thought having an appointment for an oil change would of designated someone to my vehicle. After leaving, I received an “Automobile Status Report” e-mail from the dealership listing multiple repairs that “require immediate attention” (would of hoped to have received this report before leaving). I called the service department the the next day and requested an appointment to repair some of the major issues listed in the report. I was given an appointment for the next day.I returned to the dealer to drop off my vehicle and was told that only a portion of the requested repairs could be dealt with due to parts needing to be ordered for one of the repairs. Though understandable, I would of hoped to have been notified before coming in so I could have just brought in my car when all requested repairs could have been completed on the same day without having to setup another appointment.I was notified the next day (Saturday) that my parts were in - I even received a letter mail the following day (Sunday) that also notified me that my parts were in and to make an appointment immediately or else the parts could be used or sent back (I’m impressed on how fast that letter mail came in.. maybe a little unnecessary, but impressed nonetheless). An appointment for the following Monday was made.On this scheduled appointment, I was told that they were unable to complete the repair due to a tier 3 technician being unavailable. I was told that there was a possibility that one would be available later in the afternoon and that I could leave my car, but was subsequently advised that the likelihood of the vehicle staying overnight was highly likely. To the dealerships credit, they were willing to provide a complimentary rental (by request). I ended up not taking up the rental and made an appointment for the following day so I could have my car for the day. I was also told that they put their hands on the part to ensure the part was actually in (a much appreciated additional check). On THIS scheduled appointment - after dropping off my vehicle and provided the aforementioned excellent shuttle service back to my residence, I received a call from the dealer that they had the wrong part and that I would have to come in another day once they received the part. I was told by Mr. Surratt, who clearly empathized with my situation, that he would not make another appointment until he had hands-on the part required for the repair.I am currently awaiting for the contact back from the dealership. The hilarity of the sequence of events is suppressing my frustration, but I would hope the dealership would be able to provide a reasonable compensation for this experience..

Had my 2016 Dodge Challenger refinanced there. I had a pay off of $11,500.00. I trusted them to do the right thing which obviously didnt happen. The amount they ended up financing was almost $10000 more than what I was trying to refinance. Somehow my $11500 payoff turned into $40,000 im sure the 23% interest charge didnt help. I called Chrysler Capital Auto to request a payoff quote which they said was $22,000. I went there to have my car serviced and decided to go talk to the finance depart about my loan they said they could refinance it again and to let them run the numbers. I decided against.it before they even gave me the final numbers. Discovered later that day that over 10 hard inquiries had been done to check my credit. BUYER BEWARE!!! READ THE CONTRACT!!

Beyond completing the necessary fixes, they completed a 4 point inspection and found a few other things that needed to be fixed and went ahead with fixing them. They were adamant about contacting our warranty company and getting the work paid for. Raya in particular knew we were in a hurry because we were traveling up the coast in our van so did everything he could to get work done that usually takes 12 hours in one day. Anthony communicated with us every step of the way and was sure to keep us updated with what was going on. What an amazing team effort! I originaly had given the Seaside Jeep Chrystler Dealership a (2-STAR) rating because for some reazon they did not honored all the discounts listed on their website at the time of my vehicle purchase. There was a second issue/reason, probably the biggest reason asside to the discount not being honored but I choose not to discuss it because Im over it and Im very happy that management was able to resolve for me.I wanted to discuss the 1st. Issue because I beleive that all advertized deals should be honored. The 2nd. Issue was probably the biggest issue and it was something so basic that I just rather not even mention so that it stays behind and forgotten without discussing circumstances or any names. After talking to management about the two issues, they determined they wanted to help and make it right for me and because they fixed the situation and made it right, the way it was suppose to be from the start, I can respect that.Big thanks to Bob Dillard for making it happen, your a good man Bob! ...My respects for you Bob!Thanks to Richard Sutton for making it right!because u listened to my sittuation and offered to help as well.Integrity is everything. .........Is key for success!

ITS A TAIL LIGHT, NOT A CUSTOM PAINT JOB! I gotta find another option because theres no way Im going back. Also, they can forget about me buying one of their new cars. This had the makings to be one of the best car buying experiences I’ve had, but to my disappointment the experience fell short. On the positive, I was traveling 150 miles to pick up a car site unseen. It was the car I wanted and had chosen. I had pre-negotiated the deal and was happy with the number agreed-upon feeling that it was a fair market price, meaning that I didn’t get a deal, but paid the market dealer rate. Two of the stipulations I had was that the car would be detailed and that there was no blemishes on the car. I worked with Eddie who assured me that there was not a single blemish on the car and that the car would be appropriately cleaned. My travels got delayed and delivered me after closing hours, Eddie & Heather stayed late to accommodate me which I appreciated. They had me in and out quickly and Heather was particularly great with moving through the paperwork with speed without pushing the additional extras that so many dealers push.I was disappointed to find that there was one blemish on the car, a dime size chip out of the front bumper which Eddie indicated he hadn’t seen and would talk to his manager to see if he could do anything about making it right, but as it was after hours nothing could be accommodated at that time, I accepted as is as I had a 150 mile drive in front of me and decided it wasn’t a deal Killer.I love and I happy with the car purchased but the disappointment continued when Eddie said there was nothing he could do to make the chip in the bumper right. Additionally, I quickly realized that the car had not been detailed and had only been cleaned, I subsequently had to pay to have the inside professionally detailed myself. Two days after my purchase I received an email from another salesman at the dealer offering the car I purchased with the identical Vin number for $1,441 less than I had paid. It took me asking three times before I got a response which was “I’ll clear it up. No problem”. It took four more follow-up attempts on my part before I got the response back from Eddie “who is this?”. Really??? I had to remind Eddie of the email and the situation to which she offered a very unsatisfactory response that I got a good deal on the car is mine and the deal was done.I am very happy with my car. I am not happy with the lack of transparency, the non-willingness to step up and make small things right or even offer an explanation. It was a transactional experience where I was left feeling like I was just a number and a paycheck.

DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM SEASIDE CJDR: They have a history of raising prices on vehicles called, Bait and Switch. I saw their ad for a Ford F150 for $12,000. I spoke with on-line sales rep (whose name I wont mention just yet) and agreed that would be the price with taxes, etc. Being over two hours away they shipped the truck to my home, I signed the papers, taking their word on the agreed upon price, and when I read the sales draft later they raised the price to $13,999. That wasnt enough for them, they then added on fees for an additional $2,000 for items Ive never heard of and certainly did not approve. I was over charged $3,893. Plus the truck arrived with a missing fuel-filler lid and a torn drivers seat. Now reading further reviews I see they have priors for frauding consumers out of money.Theres no excuse for this but just greed l, or, business is so bad theyre lying to customers and ruining their reputation over a few thousand dollars per vehicle.Follow-Up: Ive been told the dealership was going to, look into my complaint but as of Feb. 20th not one word. They dont want to have to admit they are dishonest, no word at all.

My wife and I were looking for a low mileage used truck and found one that matched our criterion on the Seaside Chrysler Dodge web site. Our sales person, Jeffrey, was knowledgeable and accommodating, but not pushy and we felt like he was a good advocate for us during the entire process. We had done our homework and had a good idea of the value for both the truck and our trade-in and we quickly got to an offer for both that was fair both ways. The Finance Director, Paul, was very gracious, and took us through the paperwork process quickly and other than an offer of extra warranty coverage, there was no after sale selling. Their follow up has been great-- they want to be sure we are happy with our purchase. We couldnt be happier-- with our new truck, and the sales process at Seaside. I was the one calling and calling, per service dept. they had no knowledge of the situation and the Due bill was not located and there were no notes in their system. After a few months I was finally scheduled for installation. Took it in and they installed tow hitch only and not the tow harness. I spoke to the manager that day and per the conversation it came up that for the model and year of my vehicle had no actual harness was available in the market and was going to be available till Nov 2018 at that point that was about 5 months away. Now Nov came still no call so called myself and again same scenario they had no knowledge of anything in their end no note in their system. Back and forth so again finally had an appointment when I got there they kept on giving excuses after excuses. They reschedule it because no actual tech was available and adviser and manager told me to come back a few days later to drop off car and get a loner since it will take all day. To my surprise get there talk at the time my appointment was scheduled 7:30 am (30min drive from home) and manager told me I had to receive a call from adviser to confirm there was a loner car available. So technically my appointment was in their system and front desk guy checked me in without issues. So basically since no loner car is available i can’t do anything since per them it’s an all-day task. So again i lost time from work and now they service manager is saying that why are we just bringing in car if car was purchased in May 2018. Again I told him that harness was not available until Nov and it’s been back and forth calling and them not knowing what’s going on so basically they are the ones without any communication. I dont recommend this place go somewhere else, plus really think about it regret buying a Jeep with all these issues should have gone with another Make

No star at all. My truck was returned to me today in very poor condition. I noticed my truck had been ransacked by whomever serviced my vehicle. The reason for service was ignition. Since when did opening all the compartments in my truck have anything to do with replacing the ignition. I am livid and am looking forward to speaking with a manager. Also the old part was left in the truck, which I understand but did it also mean taking every part to this ignition and stuffing it between the seats?. Like really, couldnt put it in a box and place on the ground. 😲😲😲😲😲😲

If I could give them zero I would.Basically we were given a total bait and switch scam. Initially we found the car we wanted on the internet. We agreed on a price (via texting) with Rodney Golden. We drove 3 hours to see the car. My husband took the day off from work. We arrived and drove the car. We were then given the paper work to review (after sitting alone at a desk for 60 minutes) it had the final price $1000 higher than what we had agreed on in writing. We verbalized our surprise and showed them the texts with Rodney and the deal that we had made prior to our 3 hour drive. They said that price was impossible to honor as the dealership would lose money. They then sent Rodney over to talk to us. He didnt seem the least bit surprised, never apologized and said it must have been a mistake and stated that there was no way he could honor that deal. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS IN WRITING. We were completely disgusted. We were then offered to split the difference after they initially refused to move off of the sticker price. We were so exhausted and upset after driving 3 hours and waiting almost 2.5 hours by this time, that we acquiesced just to close the deal and get out of the dealer as fast as possible. Then after another 1 hour wait we were able to sign our documents.Stay away from this dealership!!! They are total scam artists.Remove review

Service department is a nightmare. Problem with Promaster was not diagnosed correctly until warranty had expired and I was charged for repair. Service rep claims he did not get phone messages, so I sent emails...7 in total over a three week period that were ignored. Various features on the dashboard became nonfunctional after they upgraded software and they have failed to fix all and wont tell me if I will be charged for repairs. Lies, lies, and more lies.

I had a really bad experience with them ESPACIALLY JEFF, I called before i go to there store and we agreed on a price for a car and because i live in Orange County i had to drive 6 hours to get there. And guess what !! When i got there everything has changed they ignored that they have accepted my offer nevertheless they did not have any proof that the car was inspected before they offer it for sale i kept asking for the papers that shows what was inspected in the car but all i can hear is we dont sell any car that had any kind of damages on it and when you ask for a proof they just jump to another thing trying to get out of this subject. At the end you have to be careful when you go there and TRUST NO BODY !.

We decided at the last second to just glance at the cars here, as we were drawn in by the appealing prices they had on the smaller Fiat 500s (the Pop, I believe.) Well, just a couple hours later, we drove off the lot in a brand new Fiat 500x, with a fantastically priced lease, and complete confidence and trust in the staff here. We specifically worked with Steven (one of the salespersons a.k.a. Steve), Bobby, and Paul in financing. They were all very helpful. Steven was very patient with us, and did not pressure us at all into anything. Bobby was Paul was more than willing to explain any of the portions of the financing to us, and we greatly appreciated his honesty and openess. The paperwork itself took only about an hour and we might have been out faster if we didnt test drive a couple of cars. We effortlessly traded in my vehicle, which ended up having a good amount of positive equity, and applied that towards the lease. Bottom line, if youre looking for a good vehicle, great lease, and helpful service, give this place a shot. Check it out!

We had an appointment at 9:30 for a recall issue on the airbags. We dropped the truck off and ran errands and ate lunch. By 12:30 we started to wonder whats going on. My husband calls and they hadnt even started on the truck. They said that by 2:30 they would have more info. Really? Three hours and nothing has been done? Well we head over by 2:30 and still they havent done anything. That means in 5 hours we left our truck to be serviced and got nothing done! These people are the worst! Dont take you vehicle to be serviced here!

This dealership needs to be shut down. We have had multiple issues trying to get our oil changed and we finally had to speak with the GM since our issues were not getting resolved with the service advisor or service manager. The GM, Mr. Woods proceeded to tell my husband who is active duty military that he pays our salary and belittling the military in every way possible. I’m appalled that instead of trying to take care of the customer and remedy to issue at hand, he decided it was fit to ask for my husbands commanding officer instead and continue to belittle a service a member. Please do yourself a favor and find another dealership!!!!!!!!!

Slimy and UNTRUSTWORTHY corporation. They DO NOT care about their customers. They take shortcuts in repairs and they DO NOT take responsibilities for their actions. I came here to fix a noise in my transmission and a sticky clutch. After 4 months and over $3000 in repairs they returned my truck in WORSE condition than I had brought it in with paint damages, unsafe repair and full charge. My next mechanic told me they DID NOT BOLT MY TRANSMISSION IN ALL THE WAY, THEY INSTALLED THE WRONG CLUTCH, THEY REFUSED TO WORK WITH ME. I went as far as taking the owner to court where they lied under oath and took me for more than $3000 and almost a year of inconvenience. DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER

Unfortunately they aren’t winning any awards here... Poor service, seemingly undermanned in service and over staffed in sales (without new customers to back it up), unfriendly and sometimes unprofessional staff, frequently passing blame to other personnel rather than owning it themselves and making it right, repeated poor experiences seem to be the trend here.I have been here about 6 times as part of the free oil change program with Mopar for a Ram 1500 we purchased in another state through Chrystler’s “Friends and Family” program. In doing so, I have experienced their many shortcomings and toxic environment firsthand.2 hour oil changes and no communication throughout the process are commonplace, I had an appointment for new tires which I was asked to reschedule upon showing up only to sit for 4 hours at my makeup appointment 2 days later before being told that my tires had not arrived and my scheduled oil change was not performed-leaving me to take my business to Sullivan Tires across the street, their complimentary shuttle drivers are rude and unprofessional-where I recently witnessed one of them openly and unapologetically using many profanities and F words at another employee who went on break early during a project-in front of other customers seeking help, I had a recall performed there in which I was out of a vehicle for nearly a month before getting it back, and took the shuttle myself which was littered with debris on the inside and not the greatest experience. If in the market for a new vehicle or service, I’d recommend going elsewhere unless you’re able to capitalize on the manufacturer programs and dont mind the substantial wait/lack of communication.

Brought my truck in for warranty work. Told them window switch fails when temp heats up. They couldnt recreate problem. I went home and turned on heater and BAM problem occurs. Take it back and now their looking at it. Seems odd they didnt try turning the heater on to warm up the inside of the brand new $70k truck that shouldnt have this problem....will update based on the customer service I receive.UPDATE: Parts are on order. The service department was really understanding of my concerns. Got my truck in immediately and after a bit of waiting offered me a loaner. Took about an hour to diagnose. Unfortunately I wish this would have happened when I first dropped off my Truck. My time is valuable to me. I have to say that Joe in the service department was very nice and did apologize for the inconvenience. I raised my rating and will revise again based on follow up service.UPDATE. Was lied to by Joe. Service sucks. Stay away......go to Gilroy, Salinas or Santa Cruz. Truck is still leaking oil at 7k miles...

I went in to get my brakes repaired because they were squeaking and they said it was dust. They cleaned it off and I picked it up. a couple days later it squeaks even worse! Repair it right the first time! Also, I called and asked if I could drop off my car a little early for repair-not to get it repaired early, just to drop it off. They said they would have an adviser call me back, which is ridiculous, it is a simple question! My car would literally just sit in a parking space until ready to be repaired. The adviser never even called me back. They need to get their act together!

Other Dodge dealers should visit and take some notes. Seaside Dodge really cares about customer service and it shows. I drove my Viper up the coast a couple weeks ago and a broken clutch cable bushing left me stranded between Big Sur and Carmel Highlands. After limping into the dealer on a Sunday (parts and service were closed), a salesman named Zein noticed that we needed some help. He got the car signed in and offered us a ride over to the Enterprise across the street. When we discovered Enterprise was closed, he called the airport location and drove us all the way to the airport! Wow! We rented a car and were on our way.The next day we were helped by a service adviser by the name of Leo, who was equally helpful. While the part was not available due to a recall, he had a really nice technician see if anything could be done. It didnt work out and we had to head home. A couple days later he was able to get the car back in order and onto a truck transport to be delivered to us back down in Los Angeles, keeping me updated along the way.The team at Seaside made a really horrible experience a lot easier to handle. I was really impressed by their professionalism and positive attitude throughout. And I really want to stress that the Chrysler Corporation should take a look at what this dealer is doing. This is literally the first positive experience Ive had at ANY Dodge dealer. You all sell some really great cars and should be providing this level of service along with them. Thanks again to everyone at Seaside Dodge!

Only been in for service checks but this place is not the best. They never have a rental car available and after each service my car is never washed. I’d accept better from a Jeep dealership. Recommend going elsewhere.Unfortunately, I went back to this dealership a few more times (mostly because i live right near it), and over and over again Joseph Duncan was unable to get oil changes done in less than 90 mins, incapable of getting me a rental, and incredibly condescending. I even spoke with the service manager about how I waited 6 hours for an oil change, and he acted in the same manner as Joseph Duncan--they dont know the first thing about customer service! I advice all those in this area to take the 25 min trip to Watsonville where you and your jeep will be properly taken care of.

Subpar experience with the service department for the following reasons:1) Not enough loaner vehicles available. Had to wait a week for a loaner to be available so I can set up an appointment.2) I was asked to remind/check with the service advisor for loaner availability. Really?? If I owned the business, I would not have customers remind my employees.3) A 30-minute recall (based on the TSB) required me to drop off the vehicle for the entire day. This tells me very little planning goes into the scheduling process.4) There happened to be another outstanding recall on my vehicle at the time of service (I learned that the same day through a letter from Chrysler). The service department did not bother to check for that so now I have to go back again.5) They didnt even wash my car after they performed the service. Really?Bottom Line: I will be looking for a more professional and organized dealership.

This Business Is Not BBB Accredited. The reason for being accredited by the Better Business Bereau is advertise honestly, build trust, tell the truth, be transparent, honor promises, be responsive, safeguard privacy and embody integrity. I am not sure why this business would not be a member other than the oppisote of all of the above. They are not honest, trustworthy, dont tell the truth and are not responsive. Beware before buying from this dealer. I have learned from my mistake of buying vehicle from them recently. Mark R. Seaside CA

Its a cruel world. Things went from bad to ugly...We were there on a Saturday and walked around the showroom with nobody acknowledging us at all. So, theyre too swanky to greet people and yet too cheap to provide a half-decent refreshment area. They had a MESSY display of hot chocolate packs and a coffee maker with NO CUPS. On top of that, they have a pathetic excuse for a kids area. Choose your poison, disease-ridden toys or potentially hazardous lightning mcqueen chairs.Nevertheless, the worst part had to be the MANIPULATIVE and CORRUPT practices of the men there. One salesman literally added $1000 to the vehicle purchase price and tried to make me sign it. Always read carefully! Another man, see screenshot (JOSE), harassed and insulted me through text messages about rushing payment. This is just one preview, but he also verbally shared that he has 20 other transactions waiting as if Im supposed to do anything about his precious time. If you dont know what CUDL is, NEITHER DO THEY! I had a pre approval and was treated with disrespect and unprofessionalism.
