We were on vacation and my brakes were failing and I called them at 730am and they took me at 830am. They replaced all of the pads and 3 rotors plus new serpentine belt and had us back on the road at 200pm. Excellent crew and very professional.

We were on vacation in the area and the water pump failed on our 2006 Chevrolet Express 3500 RV camper. Luckily I was able to drive it there leaking, and I checked in at about 830am Saturday, with no appointment, because it was unexpected, and they had it fixed by about 4pm the same day, and we were able to pick it up and sleep in it that night, which was excellent! They said that they had some cancellations, so maybe we got lucky on the timing, but still amazing service either way! Replacement water pump, coolant, and both radiator hoses was about $850 - totally worth it, and their excellent service saved our trip, so highly recommended! Thank you!

They saved me from a nightmare of brake failure. In a day the brakes are great and able to handle a very important job towing back home.I don’t really write reviews but felt motivated this time because of the urgency and the response.

I went in for a nail in a new tire on a new car. Had I been at home, I would have put a $20 plug in it. Though deep in the tread,, they said it was considered a sidewall. I conceded that they cant go against policy.The tech said he had my tire in stock, so I agreed to the $227 tire. I have your tire and I have your size tire are not the same. Now I have 3 new Dunlap Sport tires and 1 that Ive never heard of. Thats a problem.

Quoted me what they thought was needed was then when I went to pay they took off things I didn’t need and had a super fair price. Honesty was amazing, great group of guys there my car feels better than I bought it. 10/10 would go again

I came in and made an appointment for a tire repair at which point I asked if it matters what sort of car I have. They told me it doesn’t matter, just come in tomorrow. When I came in the next day, they told me they can’t fix my car.

This mechanic is simply looking to upsell and is unreliable. I brought my car in for tire back tire changes early in the morning and it took nearly the whole day to get the car back. Another time I had my brakes done. Thereafter, I had nothing but brake problems: steering wheel shaking. Additionally, my wife had engine work done. Less than a month later the car had engine problems. Midas is not a place for mechanical work. Go to professionals.

I had recently given this place 5 stars but now I regret it and now I give 1 star why? It happens that I paid 1000 dollars to repair my car they told me that the problem was solved and today it turns out that my car is worse before the engine started and today it does not even start I made many calls and they never answered me today it turns out that they want me to pay one crane to take it to their workshop and to be able to check it. I mean, they want me to pay even more money for something that they made worse instead of solving it ????? And maybe they want to charge me a lot more money for checking the car again? They should give me a solution at least

The best place to get your Uber or Lyft inspection these folks are very honest and trustworthy.

Had appointment set for 10am. Told vehicle will be ready in a couple of hours. Called 2hrs later and vehicle hasnt been touched and all of a sudden there was 2 more vehicles in front of mines. Was told at 1p that it would be another couple of hours. Not acceptable when you set an appointment for an alignment that only takes about an hour at 10am and not able to get it done. Poor Service for sure.

Guys were rude when I rolled in with a sliced tire. Its fine that they couldnt patch it and didnt have a tire I could purchase but they had -- zero -- interest in helping me even before they saw the tire. 2 stars because the service bay was clean and organized (from the parking lot anyway) but the service sucked.

Midas did an amazing job with our exhaust on our Premium Plus 2020 GMC Sierra SLT. Tony, their welder, did exactly as I asked so I can hear that 5.3 liter V8. His welds are pretty clean and he mandrel bent the pipes so the air can flow smoothly which ensures the exhaust doesn’t sound cheap and raspy. Well done guys and they’ve change the oil in both of our Mustangs as well. We trust them with our babies and highly recommend this crew in this Midas shop to anyone that’s looking for trust worthy technicians to work on their car or truck!

I was very impressed with Midas Seaside, they were professional and highly competitive with the competition. They replaced my entire exhaust system for only 2/3 the price others were quoting. They finished on time and actually charged me less than the originally estimated. I would highly recommend this location and the staff is excellent to work with.

I delivered my car around 8:30 a.m. and the work was completed before 11 a.m.( I had my brake fluid and transmission fluids changed.) I was given a ride home and picked up when my car was ready. I found the Midas team to be professional and knowledgeable.

They are easy to work with. Able to schedule appointments with easy. I don’t feel like they are trying to squeeze anything extra into my services. Extremely pressure free.

I went in for an oil change and they checked my car without charging more, found 3 more issues 2 of which are pretty important. That’s quality as well as professional work and one can’t ask for more.

The customer service was good but they messed up on the tune up.As soon as the cars engine warmed up it began running rough. The check engine light came on, signaling for me to head to Auto Zone to use their diagnostic tool.The printout said cylinder 1 misfiring, indicating either a mis-gapped or damaged plug or a damaged spark plug wire.Tomorrow i take it back in so they can fix the problem they caused.

I like the service they do a great job even though sometime they need to be reminded to do the oil change complementary tire rotation.They forgot mine today 😅 other wise everything is fine.

Amazing customer service! Got lucky to find them being out of town. Came in to figure out the dragging piece of metal shield on the bottom part of my car. They did everything so quick!! DO NOT BEING YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!!I finally learned my lesson and I’m not bringing my car here ever again.I had them change belts and prior to that my entire car broke down the next day. It was squealing (misaligned belts) and I took it back to them for diagnostics and of course they charged me and said it was something else despite them not fully checking my car (the reason why because my lights were still on with codes and didn’t even try to specifically say the reasoning). My car is still out of commission and it’s been 2 weeks. Hope this helps some of you!

I always get my oil change here, it’s a great value to have them rotate my tires, refill liquids and do a visual check with the oil change. They’ve never pressured me into getting unnecessary work done, and never mind if I want to get work done at another establishment. The workers are always kind and professional as well!

I purchased four new UniRoyal tires with installation and wheel alignment from my local Midas center in Seaside, California in March, 2020. I incurred rough ride and returned to dealer for help. Midas re-balanced all the tires and we tried again to no avail. We all suspected a bad tire in the mix so Midas in Seaside then replaced the appropriate tires and now the vehicle rides beautifully. Throughout this ordeal, Midas, in particular Robert and Brad worked tirelessly to make sure I was happy with their service and products. They never questioned my observations nor argued that they had done all they could. I could not ask for better or more honest service. I would visit them again for my automotive needs.

Robert and the staff at the Seaside Midas have been the nicest and most helpful staff when it comes to auto shops. I don’t know much about cars and my case was a new one but they were more than understanding and helped me out immensely and took the time to carefully explain to me what happened and what I needed to do. I highly recommend to anyone who needs any auto repair!

One of the only business’ i know that doesn’t try to mooch people for their money. they’re honest, fair, and reliable when it comes to keeping your car in mint condition. after a failed attempt at jiffy lube, they were very nice and inspected my car for free to set my mind at ease. i will be recommending midas to family and friends.

Brad was there a few minutes late on a Saturday tying some loose ends up and answered my panic check engine light phone call (after driving cross country) Got me in the shop first thing Sunday morning.The guy who ran the diagnostics on my car was super informative and gave me an option to buy some time so I could spend it with my son sightseeing for my remaining visit.They were able to get my parts in for repair within 2 days and completed the work in an extremely efficient manor.Another guy even shuttled me to the UPS store so I could tie up my loose ends.Definitely a good place to get your vehicles work done and not a shady shop (especially considering my own mechanic back home texted me to make sure I made the trip out here ok.)Thanks Midas Team!Highly recommend!

They have good prices. I normally go to Salinas, but this is now closer to home. My appointment was at 8. I arrived at 8:05. I left close to 10. Thats way too long for an oil change. I waited and was reading. I had to remind them about my car before they started.No issues on the oil change. Just the time. They are also friendly. I heard them routinely offer discounts to other clients.

If your In Monterey and need car repair or maintenance this is the best place to go!!!I have not posted a 5 star review of a auto repair business ever. But Midas certainly deserves one here. Long story short I broke down. AAA suggested Carmel Towing take me to a tire shop since they were open on Saturday. The driver said I would be better off at Midas I said fine since they are the other 5 star company that Friday night. And they did an amazing and incredibly honest job. Prices were more then fair and I have drive another 2 thousand miles since.

Great professional service in a timely manner. Have been going to them from tires to brakes to repairs over 25 years and they are fair, knowledgeable and totally reliable and trustworthy.

Went there to get brakes checked after bad brake job elsewhere. Found all the problems and fixed them correctly. The fact that took the time disassemble all the parts to find the problems we had. Will be going again with a different car for other services soon.

Brought my truck here a couple of times for oil changes and every time they recommended more work. This most recent time they recommended the serpentine belt be replaced, when I picked it up I asked for the old belt when they were charging me for the replacement and came back with this story of how the belt was the new belt was the wrong size so they put the old one on and would schedule an appointment for the new one. Went to get a second opinion and was told my serpentine belt is fine. Starting to doubt they actually did the work I had done previously with them. If you go here definitely ask for proof they did the service.

I went to Midas last year when not many auto repair businesses were open due to the pandemic then.They inspected my Van thouroughly, prioritized a long list of major & mior repais that were thousands of dollars less than another well known quality, professional auto shop I think most Dearly of!Midas was everything they are & more!They really helped me by suggesting I apply for synchrony bank credit. I was approved for $1,000.00 within a few minutrs. Along with $1,000.00 cash & the credit I was able to get my Van reliable, safe& back on the road.I may have had to wait many months to save that much being disabled & on a very fixed income having no other credit.I since have been able to use this card at midss & other places while on the road for repairs. food, automotive parts & accessories building up my credit significantly!I can not stop telling all whom I know how good these people are to their customers & eachother. Very pleasant, and courteous staff. They provided me a ride to and from the shop. They were very busy so it took an hour or so longer than I expected.

Very thorough, honest shop. They could have charged me for tire balancing but when the mechanic determined that balancing wasn’t the issue with the wheel vibration at freeway speeds there was no charge for the attempt. I have been to this Midas location 3 times previously and will continue getting my car serviced there.
