First time taking our 428i convertible to someone outside of BMW. Rear brakes were metal on metal, way overdue for an oil change and needed the proper TPMS sensors as Costco put the wrong ones in. I called in the morning and they had all the work complete and had me out by the afternoon. I also brought the car in filthy and to my surprise, they did an amazing job cleaning it. They also noticed the A/C was running low and filled it for free. Although I asked to have all 4 brakes done, the front still had life in them so they held off doing them instead of making extra business for themselves. Great communication and wonderful to work with. All I can say is wow. We will definitely be back.

Its hard to find a trust worthy mechanic for a BMW that actually knows their stuff. Yeah the dealership is here but they have outrageous prices for the same level work. Glad I found this place. Friendly local business with even friendlier employees. If I could give them more stars, I would.

Jeff, his wife, and the more than able mechanics are well trained, up to speed, and most importantly for me....HONEST AS THE DAY IS LONG. These are great people and I wholeheartedly recommend them. Car was running rough, so I asked the dealership during an oil change if they could look at it. $200 just to run the diagnostic. I called MBMW and they had me in the same day and out in 20 mins with a working vehicle for 60% of what the dealer wanted just to tell me the problem (new coil). Fair, fast, and knowledgeable. Thanks so much, and expect all my future repair business!

Excellent customer service and experienced technicians.Jeff was very helpful and understanding.I was travelling to Monterey and had ordered and shipped a set of front seats to Monterey Bay Motors for installation. This isnt standard work but they took the job on and put in extra effort to make it all work when the seat belt tensioners were giving fault codes.I could not be happier with their work. If I lived in the Monterey area, they would be the only place id take my BMW.

These guys are the best in the business. I wouldnt take my BMW anywhere else. Reasonable rates, highly knowledgeable, and way better than the dealership.

These guys are the absolute best for BMW work in the area (and conveniently located about 200 feet from the BMW dealership). Their work is great, and will cost you 1/3 to 1/2 of what youd get charged at the BMW dealership. One time, they even compd me 4 hours of labor because what they thought to be the fix wasnt the complete fix, and they wanted to make things right. Completely unexpected! Incredibly knowledgable staff. (And, they have candy at their front desk!) ...

I had these guys do a pre purchase inspection and being an out of state buyer I needed someone I could trust. The guys at Monterey bay motorworks came through for me. I would recommend their shop to anyone.

I have only had my vehicle worked on there once, but that one visit was all I needed to know that this is the place I will always bring my car when it needs maintence and is in need of a servicing. My car came back immaculate and purring like a puma.I used to go to the dealership but on two different occasions I have had some rather dissapointing results.After taking my car to the dealership for the Takata airbag recall, there was a dent/bend in the interior aluminum trim. The other was a slight dent and scratch after having an Inspection 2 done.As my vehicle is starting to age, and I refuse to get trade it in, this is the place I will be bringing it until I give it to my kids. Long story short, You will save money, and have peace of mind by choosing Monterey Bay Motor Works.
