Great customer service here! If you have a nail in the tire in the red section, then they’ll repair it for free! If it’s in the other section, then you’ll have to buy a new tire but they have great prices here.

Had the tires I needed in stock and matched Costco price. Fast service too. They mounted a full set in 20 minutes. No nonsense, very busy yet still super helpful and friendly service.

Had a nail in my tire. DT opened an hour before I had to be at work, so I got there early. Guy was very accommodating when it came to me needing to leave the car for a few hours so I could get to work and come back on my lunch break, was ready to drop $100+ on a new tire but they fixed it for FREE! Communication was on point, will absolutely come back next tire trouble I have.

Great place to buy and maintain your tires. I took my car in for a tire rotation and to check the TPS and tires since the TPS light kept coming on despite resetting and checking the tire pressure is correct. They found no leaks in my tires and informed me how the TPS works in my car (its not in my tires individually like some cars) and recommended I go to the dealership service center to check the system.

I dont generally post reviews, but I just had such an excellent experience I had to commend the team! Elijah & Patrick are the absolute best!! I am not very knowledgeable on tires and after talking to a few different tire companys (costco, jiffy lube etc) they convinced me to buy the most expensive tire even though that wasnt the exact tire that would be best for me. I was all set to go until I talked to Patrick whom was SO knowledgeable and helped me pick out the perfect tire for my car and that was also affordable ! Elijah helped me once I dropped off my car and he was SO KIND! Super helpful and AMAZING customer service! I believe Patrick was a type of manager but I hope Elijah is as well as he is such an honorary and kind salesmen. Wish this business all the best and will definitely come in again!

I got here to have my flat tire and staff was friendly and helpful. By the end they found out a nail and were able to fixed it and not charged me anything!Completely recommend this place and definitely will come back anytime I have any issue!

I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience at Discount Tires yesterday. Upon arriving, the worker checking people in took one look at me and said, “Let me guess. You didn’t make an appointment.” But, I did make an appointment. I was interested in buying 4 tires for my car. I told him that I had made an appointment and the reason for my visit (which I had already filled out online when I made my appointment). He proceeded to ask me a number of obvious questions - like the make and model of my car (that I was sitting in while he spoke to me). Then, he instructed me to wait in my car. I waited for 20 minutes before deciding to leave. I had made an appointment, but it didn’t seem to make a difference, as I was treated as if I hadn’t made an appointment. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I drove yesterday in the snow (about 6 inches) and the tires performed fantastically! I cannot sing your praises enough! Please keep up the great customer service. It is hard to come by these days.

Bought and installed tires here.Customer service is a joke. After installing new tires I got a slow leak. Went to them to get it fixed and a TPS sensor fixed as well. They informed me that when they installed them initially, the tech cross treaded a lug nut. They told me I needed to make an appointment in Edmonds with another company and get it fixed. I reluctantly said fine and just wanted the slow leak fixed. They never called me when the car was done but when I called, they said it was finished. Mind you, I am walking back and forth from the hospital where I work. When I got there the TPS sensor was not fixed and it took them 20 minutes to fix it while I stood around in the parking lot. After driving home, I woke the next day and started out in the roadtrip my family and I were planning. After a day the tire pressure was low again on the same tire. It is obvious that they never touched my car at all. I have informed them about these issues and they are mostly apathetic and just tell me to make an appointment next week or drop it off for 3-4 hours. Lol. I guess thats the customer service you get when you hire a dozen 20 year old guys to run your shop. FYI Les Schwab is just down the road.....

Everything was excellent but they couldnt get one of my lugnuts off so now i have 3 new tires and one old one so now i need to find a more experienced garage like les shwab or pep boys to get my forth tire installed

Told tire would be ready Saturday, it wasnt then told Monday 9.15 appt for new tire. Told max 45 mins, car didnt even move for an hour and 15! Still here 2 hours later. Shocking service

It doesnt look like much, but the people are what make this Discount Tire superb. They have a we can do it approach. Came in after seeing another tire place and the dealer regarding a tire valve issue. those others were looking for part replacements. This Discount Tire took the wheel apart, figured out the issue, had a few recommendations and DONE! no overcharging, they are knowledgeable, professional, could make decisions with the customer on the spot. This is the one place in Seattle to take cars, Sprinters, pickups, campers, anything--theyll figure it out and get it done.

It was a worse experience with this location. I made the appointment online a week ago. They called me and told me tire i selected it is not available. I was driving, so I told I will call back changing tire. When I called back after half an hour they said, they cancel my appointment, because the tire i selected was not available. I said ok I will go to Les Schwab. But the associate said he will keep my appointment. But when I came today, after waiting a long time, the manager said I do not have any appointment. I described him all the situation but he did not do anything. I am a very busy man. So i have to wait another week to make another appointment. Very unprofessional manager............

I have been to this location about a half a dozen times and EVERY time the service has been incredible wether I was purchasing, tire rotation, or tire repair. I just had two tires repaired for no charge on tires I did not purchase at Discount Tire! They have earned my business.

This location has a great team as far as I can tell. The few times Ive had to go in they were great. Especially since I had to cancel my last appointment on such short notice.

I got a flat tire Fourth of July weekend and came here the next day when they opened. The staff took a look and patched up the tire and didn’t charge me. The next day I drove almost 1000 miles and no issues with the tire still. Staff was kind and the entire process only took about 2.5 hours.

My daughter had slow leak in tire and needed a patch. Les schwab wanted her to leave her new car overnight but the folks at Discount Tires got her in right away and fixed her tire. When she went to pick car up (2 hours later), she was astonished to learn it was free of charge! Guess where she is buying tires next time? Discount Tires at Northgate!

First time I have EVER left a review anywhere.I made an appointment for tire balance, rotation, and check for broken belts. Service seemed quick. When I got my truck back I spoke to the technician and asked about broken belts, he said that they were fine. I asked about the balance, and told the technician that he was fast. Bottom line: my tires/wheels were rotated. That was it. Original wheel weights in original locations. No balance, no check for broken belts in the tires. Oh, and he parked my truck in someone else’s lot, and left the door unlocked. Not the smartest, or safest thing to do in Northgate. There’s some pretty big liability issues for not doing the service that I asked for. I’m extremely disappointed, and frustrated by the waste of my time, and the lack of concern for my safety. If you still want your tires serviced at this Discount Tire location you might want to watch to make sure that what you asked for gets done. Last, but definitely not least, they book two appointments every 15 minutes. The technicians are overworked, and overwhelmed. I would not recommend this location.

Bought $1600 worth of tires from them and pick up a large nail in one with my tire going flat. I pull in and they tell me they dont have time for me and come back tomorrow or make a future appointment. If you arent going to help me with a tire emergency, why am I buying tires from you?Went to Lake City Les Schwab right down the road and they took care of it.

I was a loyal customer with Discount Tire for years and bought tires for many different vehicles. After having them rotate the tires on my daughters car, a 2007 Toyota Highlander, one of the lug nuts was missing and we returned to have it replaced and were told that they did not have it in stock and would not be able to order one to replace it. I took the car to Les Schwab and they had a lug nut for the car, put it on, checked the torque on the rest of the lug nuts. I will be a Les Schwab customer from now on.

The quality of work & timeliness of this shop is declining. They used to give fairly accurate estimates for how long a job would take or how many days out a tire was. Now I have to call them repeatedly just to find out if my tire’s done.They recently put a set of wheels/tires on my car without checking the air pressure.They lost the center cap off a wheel I had left with them.The “appointment times” are nearly irrelevant.I plan to try the Bellevue location next time instead, but I might be done with discount tires.

I actually like discount tire but this place in particular was kinda rude to my girl and tried to make her over pay for something that she has used in the past and never had to pay as they were trying to get her to pay that day and she even has a warranty. So i wont be letting her go to that one in the future

I had an appointment for new tires at 830a on a Saturday, showed up at 820a. I was helped immediately by two employees, one checked me in and one directed me into a stall. The sales guy inside helped me choose the right tires without pushing anything on me, he was eager and willing to help. I then waited only about 20 minutes and was good to go.Overall, super fast and super easy process. I definitely would recommend coming here in the case you need tires.

Gave my car for a summer to winter tire swap.I arrived on time for my 815am (very first appt for the day) appointment, but still had to wait for 15odd minutes. My car was taken in, and the swap was done in 30mins odd.They called on my cell asking me to come pick up the car. When I got in, realized that the TPMS had not been reset. So the car had to be driven back into the workshop.They really could benefit from an eye for detail. One thing for anyone to know- this location is always very busy so be prepared to wait for hours even if you have a prior appointmentEDIT: i visited them again for a winter to summer tire swap 2 weeks ago, and categorically asked them to reset the TPMS. On the way out, I was reassured that the TPMS were reset since I asked for it. Got home after 30mins only to realize the TPMS light is still on.Never going to this branch of Discount Tire ever again!

As far as the tires I purchased, Im happy. But covid protections need to be improved. The greater had a mask covering his chin. And the estimated wait time was 4times longer than quoted. I made an appointment and the car wasnt moved into the bay until 30 minutes after the scheduled time. These guys are working hard to install tires and make sales but they need to improve on meeting their own standards.

They were absolutely slammed when I went in and they still got my car done in an hour.

I wouldnt normally bother leaving a review, but they fixed my tire for free and rebalanced it after I ran over a screw and drove in on my spare tire. In and out in ~20 minutes. Extremely professional, organized, and friendly. I will definitely prioritize them for any future needs.

Have always had a good experience with going here the past couple times Ive needed to stop by to get something done with my tires. The associates Ive spoken with are all very polite and professionalOnly taking a star off because the last time I was there I noticed that several associates in the garage area were not wearing masks to protect themselves and others against COVID. This was mostly concerning because customers would have to drive their car into the garage instead of having an associate do it

Been going to discount tire for almost 10 years. Just moved to Seattle, and I’ve been pretty annoyed by this location every time I go in. The guys at the front desk don’t seem to be knowledgeable and just want to sell a tire. The technicians are always behind even when I have an appointment it’s about a 90 minute wait. The past two times I dropped my car off and went about my day, about 3 hours later I’d call and they’d say it’s been done for a while. Show up and my spare was just tossed in my trunk and the Jack was for some reason placed where the spare should have been not secured. Didn’t notice anything until I heard it bounce in the trunk. Completely ruined the carpet and the the trunk floor is now bent sinking down.This is frustrating because this has never been my experience with discount tire. Always courteous, always put the spare back, always honor appointment, and regardless of if I stay or leave my car always send a text.

I have mixed reviews about this place. I checking online for a certain tire and it said it was going to be available on December 21, and when I got to the store on December 24 around 12pm my appointment time, they didn’t have them in stock. When I talked to one of the guys they said they would arrive on December 25 but where closed so I had an appointment for December 26 at 9am. Come to find out the store didn’t have the tires I wanted and I was waiting for and had to buy a more expensive tires out of my price and pay range. It’s just stressful and frustrating with store details and what’s in stock and coming in twice in one week just to get tires.

I came here to get a new set of tires after I put a 2.5 lift on my truck. I was very nervous about going with a bigger set of tires as i didnt want any rubbing or do any modifications to my truck like a body chop. Carlos was very knowledgeable about wheel offsets and backspace, he got me the right tire. Thanks again Carlos!

Very poor experience. I dont typically write bad reviews but this was simply unprofessional. My truck got a flat tire overnight so I took it in to have it repaired. Evan was the guy who helped me. He was very clearly new and none of the other experienced technicians offered him any help or guidance. Subsequently, once my tire was repaired I left only to have it go flat once more less than a mile away. People make mistakes and I wasnt too upset. But when I took it back Evan as well as his supervisor and a member of their sales team were incredibly rude and condescending to me. All I wanted was to to have my tire fixed and I was treated like I was being a nuisance. Evan even ordered me to get out of the garage completely unprompted and threatened to not fix it and suggested that I just buy a new wheel. Then, in an effort to prove to me that his second repair was good enough, he dunked it in the tub of water which splashed me with murky wheel water. I kept my cool the whole time and did not cause a scene but overall it was a very poor experience and service. Evan seriously needs to work on his customer service skills. The next customer that he treats this way might not be so passive. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

The shop assistants are very enthusiastic and the working staff cooperate well with each other. The working atmosphere is very harmonious. Its very impressive .A nail was inserted into my right rear tire .They repaired the tire quickly and efficiently without any charge.

I dont have enough good words for my experience at Discount Tires - Northgate Way last Monday, 8/31/20. I had made a 1:00 appointment. When I arrived, everyone I dealt with was friendly and polite. The young man who worked with me and my red RAV4 was not only very nice, he ended up inspecting my tire, finding a leak made by a screw, patching it and charging me nothing. I couldnt believe it! (Only a few months ago at a competing tire place, I was charged $275 for one tire.) I am sticking with Discount Tire Northgate Way in the future. They are my go-to tire place. Great people - great work!

I purchased 4 run flat tires for my minivan at the Discount Tire at Northgate and they had about 25k miles/2 years when one tire developed a slow leak. I took the van back for a repair. The person there told me it will be 15 minutes. Over an hour later, I got a call telling me that the tire cannot be repaired because of a side wall issue. I asked about tire warranty and was told that it is not covered without giving me a reason why this defeat is not covered. And they did not have any suitable tire for me to buy so that I can get home. They then refused to put the tire back on, which was holding air when I took it to them. They finally put the tire back in but did not put any air in it. I had to drive a flat back home. My guess is that they screwed up taking the tire off and tried to force me to buy new tires. Run flat tires have reenforced sidewall and they don’t fail easily. Of course I cannot prove it. But what a way to treat customers. Will never go there again.

Good prices, knowledgeable staff, but some service staff may not do the best job. I had new tires installed and then one of my TPMS sensors coincidentally failed. I dont think it was at all on purpose but I think it was likely due to carelessness. A 5 year old car that suddenly has a TPMS failure at the exact time that they do their work? Yeah, right.

This location is too busy. Your reservation doesnt mean much. Prepare to wait a while. Also staff can be a bit rude cause theyre so busy.Example, I had ordered some tires but no one called me to let me know they came in. They were also nonchalant about it when I called about it.

This Shop has been a long time staple for my family and I to get new tiresTLDR: dropped off and paid for my car to get new tires. Tires were not installed and my car was broken.I will update this as my experience continues.On my most recent visit, I scheduled and paid for my tires to be replaced. Showed up for the 11:45 appt. Didnt get my car in until 12:15. No sweat, I was fine with waiting.Gave them my keys And headed back home to work the rest of the day.Within an hour I get a call my car was ready and the new tires had been put on. Fantastic. Let them know I will pick up my car around 5.I showed up, was given my keys and was told that the job was completed, and the warranty I get with the tires, etc.When I go to pick up my car, the tires were not put on AND THE PARKING BREAK WAS DESTROYED. I literally couldnt leave the parking lot.I went inside to mention that I cant even leave. They then tell me there was an issue where they couldnt even put the tires on (why call me, telling me the tires were put on, I almost left paying for tires that werent put on).We then looked into what we can do about the parking break. A few guys evaluated the issue and figured a piece of the break was destroyed on the inside.We figured out how to disengage the parking break and they out my tires on while the manager, Carlos, figures out what to do about the broken piece of the break. They later told me the technician tried to force the break without disengaging it with the button at the top of the break.I am waiting to hear back from them now. They are going to look for a replacement piece, or pay for it to get fixed.Credit where credits due, the manager Carlos was understanding and reassured me we will get this taken care of.I will update this review when the situation is resolved.UPDATE: Dont ever use this place. The way they handled breaking my car, they have lost a life long customer.

Made an appointment for 12:30 sat in my car till 1 pm. I went in for service on my tires for about the 20th time they kept losing tire pressure. This time I told them to fix the issue or in my opinion maybe they should get me a new set of tires. The amount of my time and theirs it would probably be worth the just putting a new set of tires on.The guys that work there are very nice and polite. I hope this last inspection and service does the trick or I will be back again.

5 Stars, seriously, maybe even 6 stars. First, their systems are really impressive, just from my phone call they knew me and my car and had all the information pulled up. Why is it that with a bank or cell phone company or whatever you have to repeat all your details twice or three times when a TIRE COMPANY is this organized? It really makes you think.We went through the problem with my tires (there was road damage), we made an appointment. Long story short, thanks to their protection plan/certificate (which they had all the details on in their computer) I got two new tires, pro-rated and almost for free. Incredible. No hassle, no up-sell, seriously, cool.Next, the Covid precautions are outstanding. They meet you outside, YOU drive your own car into the bay (unless you prefer not to), so no one ever touches the inside of your car. The inside has a bunch of fans running and some seating is there and widely spread apart. Theres sanitizer at every seating location. Every employee was masked up.The personnel were highly engaged, very informative, and so thoroughly helpful. There were a number of small details that everyone working there went above and beyond to help me work through. Oh, and they have a drive-thru air fill station to help people out.Absolutely outstanding. Well done!

He was attentive and quite thoughtful with any/all of my needs, and was extremely friendly and polite. It is always a bit of a stressful situation whenever you need a new tire, but Jesse was honest, did not try to push an upsale upon me, and was beyond kind & empathetic towards my situation. Also, he simply did great work on my tire. I could not have asked for anything better, it was perfect customer service.You don’t often have such positive interactions at everyday businesses, but when you do - you’ve got to stick with them. Today was my first visit here to this Discount Tire location, but it certainly won’t be the last! I would recommend this location to anyone needing tire assistance... especially ask for Jesse!

Discount Tire has been my go to for 16 years. However, the customer service at the Northgate location has really dropped off in the last few years. Numerous issues with forgotten hub rings, stripped lugs, scratched wheels and delayed orders. They have lost my business.

Chris the assistant manager went above and beyond to help me with the tires on my RV. So much so that he actually did the work himself. I was impressed. Usually managers delegate work to other people but Chris assured me he would handle it personally and sure enough he had no problem getting in there and getting it done. He rocks and this store rocks. Highly recommend

These guys are lifesavers! I have to drive so much and one of my back tires was barely hanging in there, I was praying all the way to the tire store! Please just make it to the store! (Lol) I was totally financially unprepared, but they were kind and understanding and worked with me on the price. Now I can drive away with no tire stress, and with nice tires that didnt break the bank. What a relief!

I purchased a tire online because I had a flat during the week. I was told over the phone I could come in as a walk-in and they would put on the tire that I already paid for. I come in on Saturday and was told sorry we arent taking any walk-ins anymore but I have an appointment for you on Monday at 3:15. So either I take time off work to get the tire installed or am burnt. My solution was to get the tire I paid for and take it some where else to have it installed.

This is an excellent Discount Tire location. Whenever I have an issue, the staff are always accommodating, friendly, and efficient. I came in a couple weeks ago to have my tire evaluated as it had a small leak. When I drove my car after that fix, the tire went near flat. The staff took me in right away today, expedited the fix of my tire, and were courteous throughout the entire process.This location has a text messaging system which will notify you when your car is ready. Which is helpful if you leave for a bit and potentially miss their call. I usually visit the sbux a block away while waiting. Thanks for the excellent customer service as per usual!

Make an appt ahead of time. In and out in 20 minutes, full time change. Also, the website directed me to order the wrong tires. They gave me the proper tires in the store, 30 bucks more expensive each, yet they didnt charge me!! Highly recommend!

Very unprofessional service from rude teenagers, and my TPMS light was still on after they serviced my car. Didnt explain anything to me about billing. Will not be back to this location. Two stars because they were at least fast.
