This place is expensive, but the way I see it? You want great tires you know will last you, so all in all? It will pay off and to make it the cherry on the top, the warranty makes getting your car or truck or what ever it is you come to this Firestone so much more than worth coming to. The service was fast, I was treated with down to earth workers with great sense of humors. They made my day. There has been other places that Ive gone when the service made my day turn ugly. Or the product was messed up and I had a horrible time with my warranty. So to go to this Firestone was such a breath of fresh air! Thanks to you all workers from Firestone.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Found it after my car had a flat and managed to drive it to their lot. Staff refused to help me so I went ahead and asked a waiting customer for help and we changed into my spare. Only *after* one of the mechanics saw the gentleman helping me did they approach to try and get one of the nuts off. Didnt address me or my mom (both females) and didnt even bother saying a peep to us. So disappointed in what is supposed to be reliable care from a national chain.

Standard big tire company grift. Theyll promise things they cant deliver, and charge you full price for the privilege. When they inevitably mess up, their corporate policies will make sure that nothing can be done to make it right.I ordered a full winter tire replacement with a particular brand I had researched. I went with them just because theyre local and at least some of the money would go back into the community. The person who took my appointment apparently forgot to order them. When I dropped off the car and they realized the mistake, the only option they could provide was to instead use their in-house brand. No discounts or additional service were offered, despite my request, because it would require manager approval and the manager wasnt working over the weekend. Then they asked me if I wanted to pay another $100 for a wheel alignment, and had me rush over 30 minutes before closing to pick up the car. So here I am stuck with the tires I didnt order, and $500 poorer for the trouble.Firestone doesnt get another red dime from me. I hope they start empowering their employees to take responsibility for their mistakes, and replace their absentee manager. Next time Ill just go with tirerack.com or go 1 minute up the road to Express Tires.

Brought my car in to have the TPMS sensors replaced in my brand new wheels - Jonathan Lennox was the service manager. Chose this place since they are a Tire Rack recommended installer. They stripped and broke multiple bolts holding on the center caps. Then they tried to blame Tire Rack for gluing in the center cap bolts. Finally, refused to fix the problem saying the ran out of time to deal with the situation. I left the place with 1 wheel cap completely off the vehicle due to stripped bolts and another wheel with half a sheared bolt stuck in it.Jonathan said that he would follow-up later, but there was no apology and/or actual plan to make it right.This place should be avoided at ALL COSTS!

Dont book online. They cancelled my appointment 15 minutes before I was supposed to be there. Then I tried to change it to a time I could go to after work, but they wont take any appointments later than 4 despite closing at 7 even for just an oil change.

This location is really convenient for me, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was quite a long wait to have the work done once I brought my car in, but they warned me and offered to let me hang out or call me when it was done. Will definitely take my vehicle back for service.

Last fall, I initially came for a free battery check but ended up with a new car battery I did not ask for. According to the person working in the front, I signed something that gives Firestone the power to change the price or install something in the car. Which would be fine, if I was informed before I signed my signature (for the free battery check). After that I then decided to not ever go to Firestone ever again and to never recommend it.

Twice I went to their website to schedule an appointment on mlk in Seattle. The first appointment I never received an email confirming or denying and they were closed when I tried to call . The second appointment I made two days later sent me an email stating they received my request. Again I had to call the morning of to see if it was actually approved because I got a no further response. When calling the business. I was asked if I could drop off the vehicle for the entire day regardless of the appointment time I had scheduled. So from 8-4 which I couldnt do. My only question is whats the point of having an option to set up appointments if they never follow through on their side with confirming or even tending to that feature? Or abiding by the appointment time. Needless to say Im disappointed.

I booked an appointment online but when I came here, a worker here told me I had to reschedule because someone already had this time slot. He was also rude when he asked me when did I make the appointment. Is it important to ask? Then he told me it was my fault to make the appointment online. I want to give this 0 star. First time here but I had a horrible experience.Edit: I just got an email today on 4/15 about the confirmation of my appointment on 4/13. Unbelievable. I can not believe this store is still in business.

Only thing that is disappointing is they wont accept debit card for your credit card payment...cash only and if you try calling them to make a payment is only with your checking account ..dont understand why..every other place accepts debit cards for payment. The rating this business has is inaccurate. I help run a very successful construction company up north. While going to a job site in Seattle, I had both my driverside front and rear tires flattened within seconds by nails dropped on the street (not my company;).Firestone stayed open a few minutes late for me, took custody of my vehicle and by 9am the next morning they called me with a quote for the highest quality tires I have ever purchased. They were polite and courteous. Educated me on my best options and gave me a low price. I noticed that the guys there actually turning a wrench were the same guys settling my bill. That shows vertical integration and I like it.Keep up the good work guys

I took my car in to have some new tires I bought online installed, as well as get an alignment since I have lifetime alignments here. I dropped my car off around 7:45AM. They finished my car some time in the late afternoon. They also recommended I do a coolant pressure test to make sure I wasnt leaking any coolant. They said itll take about 30 minutes. 45-50 minutes later my car hadnt even been started yet. Ok, so I wait another 30-40 minutes for that to be done. Its already getting dark when we leave, sometime around 6. So, the alignment was done right, and they get a star for that. My balancing on the other hand, has not done completely right. I get steering wheel wobble at freeway speeds. I have classes in the morning, but at that time they dont have any extra staff to give me a ride to my school (which is about 5 miles away, a little farther if you go by freeway). This makes it hard for me to drop off my car and get to class. I will now be going back to get my wheels rebalanced. I have another place that does great wheel balancing and I will probably go back to him after this experience.

Worse place for customer to take their car for service especially since nobody will inform you about anything that’s wrong with your car. I had paid for a tire and then end up going home with my old flat tire just to find out that they forgot to change it and when I called all I got was the lame excuses that I’m sorry and we had a power outage bs. Staff took my money but then blamed each other for the fault. I wouldn’t recommend here to my family and friends.

Ive taken many vehicles to Firestone and usually have a fine experience. Sometimes work has to be redone, but I try to let that slide. Last time I went in I went for an alignment- they sold me on the lifetime alignment for almost $100 more than a one time alignment. Went to pick my truck up and they said they couldnt align it until I cut my tie rod ends- like sawed them down! AND they told me their lifetime alignment didnt cover camber adjustment and thatd be an extra $65 PER SIDE each time. Called Les Schwab, they aligned my truck without cutting my tie rods, AND include camber in their alignment.Congrats, Firestone- you swindled a regular customer out of $100 but lost a regular customer in the process.

This place is beyond trouble, the wait is extremely long, the customer service is poor and the work they do is horrible. I drop off my car yesterday to have engine diagnostic 24 hours later they still havent check. When I call the shop there is no one available to answer the phone. Go in person the waite is hour long to get simple question answer. I recently apply credit card and start bringing my cars but I will pay off the balance and close it so I dont have to come back here again. I hope someone is smart enough to built another shop across this one so they can go out of business.

Still waiting on a basic oil change. Had 12pm appt was on time and its nearly the two hour mark. Waiting room plays daytime soaps on tv loudly.EDIT: mentioned wait time, was told it’s an hour slot so it’s normal. I pointed out the two hour timeline; guy was surprised and mumbled ‘why did we have you here two hours’, and gave me 50 percent off. Seems reasonable.

I do not recommend this place! I was dumb enough to use them twice assuming the first service and price was just an abnormality. It was not and the second time I was told the vehicle would be ready by 1pm but it wasnt available until 2:15. I understand that we are talking just an hour and 15 minutes but you shouldnt promise something and not deliver it.

The worst! I told 5 different people I had to have the car back by 6 pm to pick my husband up from dialysis. It was almost quarter to 7. I had been reassured throughout the day that the timeline would be met. I had them look at my drivers side window that didnt work. Their estimate to fix it was too high so I paid just the diagnosis fee of $60.00. Unfortunately even though the window was up when I brought it in, it was taped with blue masking tape when I picked it up. Of course, it fell down and it rained into the drivers side. They offered to retape the window but couldnt say that it would stay up. They promise whatever will get you into the shop with no apparent system to make sure they deliver. Never again. The two customer reps women were really nice trying to make everything ok but its not enough.

Picked up my car only to find out that they didnt out the battery casing back on, just loose under the hood and left plastic covers underneath the steering wheel off. After we paid, they told us that several lights were out including both brake lights and all the lights worked going into the shop, it was just a loose connection. They wanted to keep the car for another 4 days for a simple unnecessary part that we had specified wasnt a priority. Friendly staff, but wouldnt recommend.

Had a flat on I5 in the Express lane at the worst time of day. I was in my way to see my mother in the emergency room. It took almost 4 hours for a tow truck to get me out of there and to the only shop open. This place. They could not sell me just 1 tire or a a spare so I could get to mom.

These guys are more than reasonable with price and always provide excellent customer service! If you have any questions/concerns they take the time to make sure you are absolutely pleased (or as pleased as you can get dealing with car troubles lol!) with the service provided! I never feel swindled and or taken advantage of when taking my car in for repairs/maintenance which is super important if not the only reason why I initially choose a place for service. As much as we would like to think we are progressive and treat people the same regardless of sex (and all the other protected classes of course!) that’s simply not the case or at least not what I have experienced with other facilities when it comes to servicing my vehicle. Not at this Firestone though! They have always treated me exactly the same as they would anybody else and they do not talk down to me and or patronize me because I clearly don’t know much about cars or because I am a woman. And trust me, I’ve asked a ton of questions haha! Their patience never cracks, they are always friendly, their prices are super reasonable, and whenever I get my car back it always feels like it’s running on a brand new engine again! The service/maintenance I have needed to date include the following: all new tires, new brakes, routine oil changes, other basic routine maintenance, and several diagnostic tests which included the need for repair at 30k miles, 40k miles, 50k mikes, etc. so I can only review on what I have experienced in terms of the above listed services. There have even been times when I came in because I had no idea what was wrong which usually always means an astronomical bill with endless need for repairs forcing you to put blind trust into what someone is telling you yet even in these circumstances the result was never anything super crazy expensive and I still felt confident that the repair recommended was the repair needed. I can’t recommend these guys enough! Also, last but not least, I do want to mention Dawn (I initially had the wrong name as I was thinking of her as Dawn Celeste and associated C to Cheryl, brain fart!) Anywho, Dawn Celeste who no longer works there but when she did, she was amazing too! Knows her stuff about cars and is super friendly! Everyone there is awesome and knows what good quality customer service means! Thank you Firestone on MLK! I’m a huge fan with a blabbering word of mouth! My apologies for the novel review - cheers!Please note: when I refer to myself as not knowing much about cars and being a woman I do not mean that all women do not know about cars disclaimer. I used to bring my car to Pep Boys in SODO for service; and for a while, they were fair to middling - nothing great, but nothing bad, though I began to notice that I kept returning more frequently than I wished. But, they were cheap, the mechanics were friendly (if a bit too familiar), and I didnt mind: its an older car; what did I expect? Then, one very hot summer day, I watched the temperature gauge shoot to its uppermost limit. I had just come from Pep Boys - what could have been the matter? I filled it with coolant and water to keep the engine from burning, then returned to the shop: the radiator had been inexplicably drained. Then, one day, I was driving down 99; I had just come from Pep Boys. The brakes gave out completely. Through some miracle (and setting aside false modesty, some very skillful driving), I made it back to the shop: the brake line had been inexplicably cut. I nearly died - may I please get a refund and free service? Manager: Welllllll.... I returned a couple more times, but their service became less and less trustworthy and people quit en masse. I departed. After a single encounter with Moss Alley Motors (my goodness, those folks were strange and abrasive!), I decided to try Firestone on MLK. On their first inspection, they discovered and clearly identified what the other mechanics had carelessly ignored: the bolts holding the engine in place were rusting and broken; the timing belt needed replacement; who did the work on the rack and pinion?!?; oil leaks; worn tires; broken tailpipe; and on and on. The bill was daunting, to say the least. But my poor 89 Camry wagon (which was otherwise in legendarily good shape for its age), needed a drastic make-over. And when they were done...the problems vanished. It took me a couple months to pay that bill, and finally retrieve my car, but the problems had been resolved. One and done. I returned after nearly a year away (bad, I know), and the recent problems Ive been having? Repaired under warranty. Come to a follow-up at the weekend to sort out another warranty-related problem, and youre good. The bill? Not daunting. Paid it right away. Car operated perfectly. A lot of folks gripe that this Firestone costs more - maybe even too much for some (see bromide above). But with this shop, the old maxim, you get what you pay for, rings absolutely true. They cost more, but they got the job done right the first time; they were very transparent in their services and pricing; they answered all my questions courteously; they graciously gave me discounts in addition to honouring my coupons; their work and all the parts are guaranteed; and they have thus far kept my beloved wagon rolling. So, until this shop falls into some disrepute (hopefully not involving cut brake lines), I shall be returning to get my vehicle maintained and repaired here.

Worst place, wasted my time. They made me wait 4hrs for something they can do in less than two minutes which was to check a single flat tire i brought if its fixable or i need a new tire. Told me the tire looked new they can fix it. 4hrs later which i was told will be ready, i came back, closing time he ran back tried putting air in the tire comes back tells me they cant fix it i need a new tire which they dont have. All of these he could ve done before i walked out of there and would have taken it somewhere esle and had a good tire same day. 3 times been there 2nd time gettting screwed.

Pre-arranged an appointment to have my vehicle (oil change). The total time spent waiting for service completion was 2 hours and 53 minutes (branch was busy this day and short staffed). Giving an extra star as the branch covered the cost of the oil change due to the wait time.

Well all I have to say about this matter and experience with fire stone is I brought my car in running and needed oil change(Standard oil change). Well I came back four hours later to pick up my vehicle and was told after I paid for the oil change that my car was not running and suggested to me that will do a free diagnostic test on it and let you know what the problem is called me the next day and said I need to pay $730 and some change from $26 to that had to give my car away to the junkyard.Thanks a lot fire stone

Took a tire to get a nail removed and patched. Got the tire back with the nail STILL in it and had to drive back. They refunded the cost of the patch ($20....a WEEK later) and the kicker....the agents at the kiosks were openly discussing misleading their customers. They are unreliable when it comes to walk in. They took my car for walk in and at the end of the day they called me and informed me that they could not do it that day unless the car stays there for the second day until 4 pm or book appointment. They should not have took my car if their schedule is tight. It have happened to me three times. Looking for another place to service my car because they are unreliable.
