Today, May 1, 2021 my husbands adult daughter is autistic, aspergers, PTSD shopped at the Sebastian Blvd location (across from Burger King) and was treated with such disrespect. When she came home in tears, I went back with her to explain why she shopped so long, why she goes to the register 4 times as the manager pointed out and why she “shops” the way she does. Being a nurse/administrative professional, I thought I would go back with her to try and explain so they could use it as an educational experience for future customers. The response I got was sarcastic and how many times she went to the register, never received an apology. I turned my attention to my husband‘s daughter, told her I was sorry for their behavior and that we would never be shopping here again and the manager said that’s fine. She never offered an apology when I explained her disability I wasn’t looking for the apology but it would’ve been nice if she apologized to my stepdaughter. I’ve decided to not only write a review, I went up the road to the other Dollar General, brought my stepdaughter in and asked them if it would be OK if someone with a disability shopped there and I explained what happened. The worker, or manager stated she can shop here any time and her son had a friend who also was autistic with Asperger’s.Shame on dollar general for hiring a bad example of a manager Who clearly does not only know how to treat someone with a disability but also the parent coming in calmly explaining her disability. We are also filing a complaint. I don’t expect to hear from anybody as no one ever wants to address an issue, but a bad word goes much further than a good word in our small town. This will also be reported to the news, because the manager couldn’t simply say she was sorry. I am a marketer by trade and I know what customer service is, and no one like that should be representing a store or a leadership role.

The store was going through a remodel. Obviously very understaffed. They did have a Now Hiring sign oo the front door. The store was a disaster. Literally looked like a bomb had gone off in there, which is understandable when trying to rearrange, handle customers, and not be staffed properly. The associates there were very courteous and pleasent and the prices on the merchandise was absolutely incredible. I would recommend this store, especially once they get it back together with some order going on.

Great prices and their coupons for money off are worth saving. Sometimes prices are better than Walmart

I think Dollar Generals are all pretty much the same, a super convenience store with good prices.

We shop there all the time, not only are they conveniently located, have all you need except... fresh veggies, and fruit, which you really want to go to a grocery store anyhow, they have gifts very unique to them. Very festive and dont forget the $5. Coupons for $20 Or more ! Awsome, you save n get money coupons back too for more items. Very nice people there too. Go and save !!!

I came in for tires and got a good price. They are always nice and polite..mechanic pointed out something and took care of it by cleaning it..good people. They are always nice to me.

Was a nice visit and I found what I needed fast but when I got to the checkouts, everything went sour. The girl had an attitude and she wasnt pleasant at all. She didnt say thank you or even give a smile. She should have called out.

This dollar general in particular is VERY clean and well stocked. The employees are super nice.My only complaint about dollar general (all of them) are a wee bit higher prices than Walmart.Other than that, Sebastian dollar general is a good place to shop.

Dollar General is a great place to go and get most of your everyday items they have a lot of stores around so you can usually get what you want without having to travel all that far so anything that you might need I would highly recommend to come on down to the Dollar General and get your items here.

This store is awesome as far as the location. Prices are reasonable just like Dollar General has always been. However, this store seems extremely unorganized and the layout isnt consumer friendly and its almost as if you have to search up and down the aisles to find products. They all seem just thrown all together with the exceptions of grocery items and cosmetics.

The people are always friendly here, and they are always ready to help locate what you need in their store, they are always courteous, they let you know about the coupons you can use and what day so you can save money, and they always say have a good day when you leave.

Poor service at this store it was a coupon for $5 off for $20 purchase she scanned my card and it declined so she tried to talk to someone else to make sure that it wasnt charged on my account I know there was money on there to cover it then she rang it up again and did not give me the $5 off when she said she did and got Huffy with me because I said why is it 29 and change when it was $24 and change the last transaction she got very frustrated once again ran it through for the $5 off she was not very knowledgeable and she did not have very good customer service personality she seems like it was too much of an issue I had customers behind me and they all looked at me like I cant please you just treated you like that when you get coupons and you should be able to use them especially the amount of money that I spend in your stores I was very unsatisfied with this treatment that I received there I cant say I will visit that store again even though its closer to the other ones I just cant believe she treated me that way $5 is a big deal when your in a limited budget

This is a quick stop kind of place, cards,household products,snacks etc. There are several in the area so finding 1 close to you should be easy.

I really dislike Dollar General. Every one that I have been to is filthy. It is hard to find what I am looking for because the aisles are so cramped. Trying to get someones attention for assistance is a joke. I only go here if I am in a hurry or desperate. Stay away if at all possible!

On friday 4/5/2019 i went to 2 Dollar Genetal. Fellsmear and Sebastian. Fellsmear employees dont want to help. If there is a question about sale price they wont sell it to you. You are rung up without the item in question and sent on your way.

Great location and a fairly new facility....

Dirty, staffed by tired, overworked people. Clearly a place where their bottom line, not their customers or employees. They dont seem to care about their communities where they exist or the environment they create. There are so very many other places you can shop. Why waste your time or your dollars here?
