I absolutely love these places. Owned and operated for God only knows how long by the people that envisioned what it still is today, hospitable, warm, very home-like atmosphere. The have a huge variety of side dishes, offer breakfast at any hour. I had the Western omelette, with home fries covered in chili, every bit of it was good. Their menu prices alone would bring most back, the care they show their guests...the icing on the cake. That you all for a wonderful experience.

If you like home cooked food this is the place for you... To have a daily buffet which is very good.. fried Chicken on Wednesdays is excellent they also have fried Chicken on Sunday... If you like a good Hoosier giant tenderloin this is a place for you...

Its dinner food, the kind you would expect at the price points $.$$, its also been around forever, lots of locals go here just to talk and visit for breakfast or lunch.Home town joint, lots of old friends reconnecting, catching up, family style place. Overall worth it for breakfast, servers have a sense of humor, nice place to go.Definitely recommend if you enjoy talking to random people about everything, feel free to join a conversation, or just quietly enjoy your meal.

I absolutely love this place! Food is great. People are interesting and super nice. For such a small place. It has a BIG HEART!. You actually feel like walking into Grandmas kitchen for breakfast or supper.

I highly reccomend. It reminds me of my Grandmas house, and they have really good food for cheap. My little sister loved it and shes such a picky eater so that definitely says something. Waitresses are always super friendly and welcoming. I always love going there 💙💙💙

Cool little diner, was in town on business. Excellent choice. I had their stardust tenderloin at the waitresses suggestion. Super good as were the hand cut onion rings! Friendly staff nice atmosphere if im ever in the area will eat again!

There is a reason why this place has been in business for so many years, and why so many during those years have come and gone-quite simply they serve great food. By far they serve the best biscuits and gravy, and one of the few places that still serve fried potatoes. I think this has become a lost art. Service is great and prices are very good too. Forget the rest and come eat the best!!!!

I absolutely love this place, very hometown, we recently moved to Shelbyville, bought a home here had to try out all the local places. Met Shirley the owner and we absolutely love the owner, actually all the staff here is just very friendly and so welcoming. My husband and I have not had anything here we have not loved!!! Great food and great service all around.

This is a nice Mom and pop place that has been around for over 50 years. The owner is always friendly, the food is good and the waitress remembered me even though I hadnt been there in over a month. I highly recommend this place.

Good food, made fresh and at very reasonable prices. Staff was friendly and very family like. The tenderloin was hand pounded and breaded after we ordered. They even left mine a little thicker as requested.

Awesome food. We called in an order and wow. For the price there was a ton of food. And it was so worth it. And on top of it all they have breakfast all day. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Everything was fresh and ready for pickup within 15 minutes of calling it in.

First time visiting.Very nice people, Miss Shirley, the owner, was watching to make sure that everything is good. She runs the register so she talks to all of the customers.Little bit of a hole in the wall, but tenderloin, fries and onion rings were all very good.Will return.

Today was my first and last visit to this cafe. It’s obvious that more care is given to the locals. My mother and I sat and waited for refills. The service was horrible and subpar. All customers SHOULD be treated equally as the locals. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

All ways go here when in Indiana. They have great food. Little Mom & Pop place. Love their Tendlerloin sandwiches. Service is good and building is clean. Very homey and lots of local customers. Will go back.

Environment was nest with lots of historical pictures on the wall but the food left something to be desired. Maybe it is more of a breakfast place since i order lunch but i did see some of the breakfast food on others tables and it didnt look tasty either. I suppose it could be good but if it was anything like my food i highly doubt it.Maybe this is more of a pie and coffee meeting place:(

Great service from a very nice staff. Fresh home-style cooking from breakfast to dinner (only open til 1pm on Sundays). I can recommend the tenderloin and fries, but the breakfast plates looked great too.
