Stopped by to see if my doctor called in my prescription and was told that it wasnt there by one lady. She then told me to go to the drop off area and someone could help me more since she couldnt check in the system. I waited and no one helped me so I walked out. Seriously thinking about going across the street to Walgreens and see how they are. Not happy with the CVS on Texoma in Sherman :-(
Horrible pharmacy customer service. Had an appointment for Covid vaccine and pharmacist turned us away, stating they were out of vaccine. Then he admitted he just didn’t want to mix any more for the day and told us to come back tomorrow at 9:30. Why have appointments then?? Came back next day and there were people there with early appointments and they were told they wouldn’t start until 10:00 so it got backed-up quickly. Then we got a lecture about making and keeping your appointments 🙄🙄. This pharmacy is rubbish.
No one knows what they’re doing back there. You get shifted from one staff member to another, everyone tells you something different.
If you call them youll be on hold for maybe an hour just get hung up on. Called to clarify that I was uninsured and was told I could use good RX just to be told later when I was ready to pick it up that they wont take it because Im prescribed a controlled substance. Im uninsured and have ADHD so I guess they want me to go jump off a freaking cliff. This has been a nightmare for me. My dad died last week, I keep on losing everything, and I switched my script to CVS because I was supposed to be able to save $15 vs Walmart. I honestly want to die right now. Dont give your money to CVS.
Service is horrible! The pharmacy techs need to be trained on how to properly interact with customers without a off-putting attitude.
On hold for 45 minutes to be hung up on. Called the storefront manager but he cant get them to answer either. Had to send my wife up there just to find out if they had received my prescription yet. How hard is it to pick up a phone?

Went to this location for COVID vaccine. Was easy to get an appointment. They were well organized, quick and friendly.
Girl doesn’t write phone number. No text that prescription is ready. Call, they blame customer for their mistake. Wait in drive thru. Won’t do GoodRx in drive through. Wait inside. Pharmacist has to approve new bill. So I die waiting. I get to the pearly gates and saint Pete is like, yeah you should have just gone to Target. We get a lot of those here.

They move super slow. You can sit in line for an hour just to get one prescription. Lines are always super long. Better off using the Walgreens across the street.
8:30 pharmacist said he had 3 orders ahead of me so he would not fill mine tonight. I could come back tomorrow. Wow. Really. Good Bye CVS. Thanks for not being here when I needed you most.😔
The slowest pharmacy in the world, go anywhere else. I dont know if its the staff or the customers or some combination of the two, but I have never had a wait less than 45 minutes here.
Charges you fir the same item multiple times then gets mad at you for wanting your money back.
I arrived at 7:30 am and stood in front of the pharmacy window waiting to be acknowledged. Two pharmacists were working. Finally, after 7 minutes I spoke up and said, I just wanted to make sure you saw me. One pharmacist had looked right at me more than once, but the perforated screen was down; which I attributed to a COVID precaution. The only reply I received was a curt, We open at 8. Rather than being rude, a better response would have been something like, Im sorry, we cant open until 8.
I came in for the flu shot It was slow yet I waited 35 minutes. Honestly there are better places to go and get it
Called at 3pm to see if 3 were ready. They said an hour. Go to movie then to CVS at 6.30 and They are not ready. Cashier put in expedite in the computer. 10 people behind me. Gonna take my business elsewhere. Its like this everyday.
I was in here a total of three times in one month to pick up medicine for my wisdom teeth removal surgery. Everyone was helpful and I was in and out in less than 15.I am, however, not paying $8 for a CVS brand of heartburn medicine, when I can get the Krogers brand for $2. Exact same generic medicine.
Words can’t explain how much I dislike coming here every month for my prescriptions. Always sitting around waiting. They never have my insurance on file and it’s the same insurance every time. Horrible service.

Sent me home with the wrong medication, told me my insurance was termed when it wasn’t, put me on hold to “call my insurance” and said that my insurance wouldn’t give them any info. I called my insurance and my plan wasn’t termed and they never got a call from the pharmacy. I have fought with them for a month now to get the correct medication. They had no problem sending me home with the wrong med and blaming my insurance though.
This cvs is awesome. They always help you find the lowest cost on medications. They are such a busy pharmacy but they always are smiling. Way to go guys! My
Ive had the same prescription for 2yrs. I call every single month to remind them that on top of my insurance I have a copay card. They literally never get it correct! I mean no joke Ive called everyone I could to get it resolved and nothing ever does. Get it together!

If ZERO stars were an option that is what I would give...This is a horrible pharmacy. I have a child that takes medication for ADHD. Her medication cost was $185 however with a coupon from GOODRX the cost would have been right around $87. Due to the PHARMACY MANAGERS POLICY (NOT CVS POLICY) they would NOT accept the coupon. The lady on the phone told me I could go to the MELISSA location and they should honor the coupon. I called several other pharmacies who said they would GLADLY take the coupon because it was for ADHD medication (not pain narcotics). I will be sure to go OUT OF MY WAY to tell people about this awful experience and to take their business elsewhere.
Worst pharmacy ever!!! Manager called me and tried his best to tell me that he would NOT FILL MY RX ANYMORE Because his employees filled my script two days early, and would be calling my dr.to let him know that. Wasnt my fault your employees are not educated enough to look over a piece of paper. And the lines In the drive through are ridiculous,slow service, bad customer service.. dont go here if you dont have to.

People hold up the drive-through line when they should just go ahead and turn around and leave it they just dropped off a prescription instead of waiting on it been sitting in line for about 20 minutes and the same person is still up at the window because they were sitting there waiting on the prescription and all I needed to do was pick up one your CVS in Sherman Texas sucks

Literally the WORST service ever! First, I was told that my prescription would be ready in an hour. I go the next day to pick up said prescription, not only was it not ready to be picked up, but they informed me that my insurance would only cover it for a different supply and was told to call my doctor to have them change that. I then called to have that changed. I go back later on to pick it up, and it still was not ready after I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I go back 4 hours later, wait in line for half an hour and was then told that my prescription wasn’t covered at all. So it went from being covered at 100% at a 3 month supply to not covered at all and I left without my prescription. I will never use Cvs for anything ever again.

If I could vote zero I most definitely would. Ive been trying to get my prescription filled since 9:00 am..If you are taking Suboxone, Subutex, or methadone..and use this pharmacy because of convenience---please, im begging you, u do not want to use this pharmacy. Their slow, hardly check their emails or faxes for scripts. I wish u luck!!
These folks routinely lie on the phone about prescription readiness, whether or not theyve submitted refill requests, and what medication they even have available in store. Theyll tell you that your prescription is ready, and then wont be able to fill it for another three days. If you have any options at all, dont use this pharmacy.
They never have my prescription in stock and never order it on time for it to get here before the weekend. Even if it gets sent in on Wednesday. It is a DAILY prescription I have to take and I end up waiting three to four days every single month. Out of the four months Ive been on it they havent had it there on time once. They also call my mother about my prescriptions being ready despite the fact Im on a different insurance and live six hours away from her and have told them numerous times that isnt my number.
I came to this CVS like I always do monthly and I was the only person in line. I waited and waited and of course the pharmacy techs see me and don’t even greet me or tell me “I’ll be there with you in a moment.” No- they just continue what they were doing and ignore me. I had to clear my throat a couple of times before they even acknowledged me. A woman behind me stands behind me in line. The rude pharmacy tech Tiffany rings her up instead of me when I was there first. I had to say something like “Um I was here first and have been waiting here for a while.” The lady behind me was apologetic but TIFFANY in a very rude condescending way says “Everybody has been waiting- we are short staffed today!!” Okay like I get you might be short staffed but you don’t EVER treat a customer like they are an inconvenience. She was so monotoned with me and wasn’t very nice. I’ll continue to come to this CVS and give it another try but Tiffany needs an attitude adjustment.
It doesn’t matter what time of day there is always a long line at the drive thru and in the store and there are 10 employees working it’s ridiculous. When I go in I beat the drive thru.

Just left, my prescription has been ready 4 days but everytime I go to pick it up, long lines and only using 1 register. Horrible service, my time is valuable and they obvioisly do not care. About ready to take my business to Walgreens.
It is clear that people just complain about everything. Some of these bad reviews are up to 5 years old. My doctor called in a script to the Kroger little elm pharmacy. The pharmacist at CVS immediately called and had my information transfered while I was on the phone and told me they would have it ready in 30 minutes. They even expidied it because I showed up sooner than 30 minute time frame. CVS did an amazing job. Entitled people these days just love to complain and will never give credit when its due.Great job CVS
I wish there were an option to give no stars whatsoever. I had someone tell me to go to this CVS pharmacy to get my meningitis vaccine, when I get there, the lady working the counter was almost immediately rude. I handed her my insurance card and she said that my insurance did not cover vaccinations and had no benefits listed. I knew this wasnt right so I asked her if she knew why it was saying that, and all she had to say was thats just what its saying. So I walked off. Went across the street to Walgreens and they ran my insurance and had NO ISSUES whatsoever with my benefits and getting me taken care of, and the staff was 10000% better and more understanding than the ones at CVS. I dont recommend CVS pharmacy at all. Save your time and go across the street to Walgreens.
If you have a small prescription medicine like pain killers you need to pick up, you better take a whole day off work just to get it cause they move slower than any human Ive ever met.

Totally inept..... Called to see if prescription was ready for pickup.... Provided name, dob, and the person asked me to wait. Later she got back on the phone and asked what was it that I wanted???? I asked, are meds ready for pickup, she responded yes.... Darn, I called the pharmacy, not a feed store.

I visited this location today in the rain and cold. (12/16/2017).I went in to purchase feminine products and some alka seltzer for my cold. I get to the register and the cashier ask for my id!!! For alka seltzer...I didnt have my id because I didnt drive but when i told her i was 28 she insisted otherwise. I mean what in the world? I even sound bad bc of my congestion! its just alka selter!!!!

This is the worst pharmacy Ive ever used and I thought wal greens was bad. The employee was rude. I dropped precriptions off last nightand they tell me we close in 10 min. And might not have them done. Well these were for a child with a bad ear infection. So go and pick up this morning and then they tell me that my insurance dont cover them I tell them to transfer them to a different place and that was 5 hours ago and still no meds. They need to just shut this place down. Customers do not come first here. What has happened to service for the people. If you dont like your job find a different line of work.
Worst service I have ever experienced at a pharmacy. Staff was rude and unhelpful. They also said it would take an hour for my prescriptions to be ready and when I came back alittle after an hour they were still not ready. Won’t be using this pharmacy again.

I have to agree with the other reviews. I have given CVS its fair share, and it is horrible. Several times prescriptions not being done on time. Other times of waiting an excessive amount on the phone for a 15 second question. Just got done holding for 45 minutes to ask possible interactions between my sons medications. Done with CVS, will be transferring all my prescriptions elsewhere.
Worst place ever. Denison didnt have my sons medicine they told me to try this one. I called they said it was in stock and they would transfer the script to that store. I asked how long it would take and was told to give them an hour. A little over an hour later I went to pick up the medicine. When I got there they didnt have anything for him. They still had not called the denison cvs to have it transfered. They called denison and while on hold checked for the medicine. The guy asked if I was told it was here. I told him yes thats why Im here. He told me they didnt have it in stock. Its a bunch of crap an hour earlier I was told they had it.
Absolutley horrible pharmacy. They give you your discounts for a couple months and then out of the blue slam you with the full price claiming its with the discount. Also they screw up medicaid and claim that the medication wasnt covered making you pay for it only to find out they were lying. Do not use this pharmacy... its horrible and the staff is rude
Hopefully you dont need your prescriptions quickly! Every prescription takes them at least 2 hours to fill. Theres a reason why people need their medicine quickly! They are in pain or sick! Waiting 3.5 hours for a prescription is ridiculous!!!

Zero stars. The weekend night manager of the Sherman store is an unthinking, unsympathetic lack of a human being. My story is too long to share but be aware that this should NOT be your first choice for medications.

They are extremely slow. And the Manager Manny is extremely disrespectful if you point out he did not communicate to a parent that a medication has certain specifications, like a Prior Authorization. And then makes your child go without important medication.
