Could not be more pleased... Tried dealing with another locally owned glass shop, and could not get a windshield after waiting several weeks. However, I walked in Barton, and they had my new windshield installed within 45 minutes, at about a 30% lower price than the other place. All of the employees were helpful, knowledgeable, and professional.Could not be more pleased, and would highly recommend.

Best prices...
Drove all the way down from Texarkana because Texarkana wanted to charge me $500 for a windshield and I paid less than $200 at Barton glass? Service was fast and friendly.
Inspection done very quickly
In response to the poster below named Traci there is no one that works at Barton Glass per the woman that answered the phone when I called there today. I will, however, answer her comments. My father several years ago had Barton Glass through his insurance replace two large windshields on his Monaco motorhome. The black clauking around the windshield after the job was completed looked terrible and they were air leaks. My father contacted RV Glass Experts that contracted with Barton Glass about the quality of the work done by Barton Glass. My father drove the motorhome back over to Barton Glass at least five times only to have Gary Lipscomb, the owner, come out and slop more black windshield sealant around the corners of the windshields that his people installed. Gary Lipscomb never said I am sorry that you are having to make multiple trips over to our shop to fix our work. The motorhome suffered an overheating issue for the better part of year until that issue was fixed along with my fathers hip replacement and battle with prostate cancer,so an extra year ticked on to the clock. I called RV Glass Experts in Jan 2012 and told them that the windshields were still not right, so they asked me to have several other glass people come out and look at the windshields. RV Glass Expers had the documention of the all the calls to them regarding the quality of the Barton work. The other shops determined that during the install Barton Glass had cut the windshield gaskets that support the windshield in several places and both shops were concerned about the safety of driving down the road with windshields that could fall out. The cost to reinstall the windshields was $450 with RV Glass Experts paying $150 toward an reinstall along with providing a new gasket and my parents paying $300. Gary Lipscomb at Barton Glass knows in his heart of hearts that the windshields were not installed correctly in the first place, there was no dry rotting. When I showed Gary pictures of his work and what the windshield looks like now correctly installed Gary proceeded to raise his voice and to yell to me that other shops did not know what they were doing. It was Barton that did not know what they were doing. I have asked Gary Lipscomb to do the right the thing and that is to pay RV Glass Experts $150 and my parents $300 in a registered letter that he did not respond to. Barton maybe an old name in the world of Shreveport glass companies but I certainly would not use them for anything in future. P.S. I am sorry if this is a duplicate posting. just look at how Barton Glass looks when you arrive (terrible)
Great people, and fast service
