Its never fun when your vehicle has issues. I would recommend this place if it does. Certainly not the dealer! If you like saving money and not getting taken advantage of this place is for you. They work on all makes.

This is, By Far the absolute worst place, you could take an automobile, I own a race car that needed a clutch put in, I was going to supply the clutch as my health as declined as of late, they try and get you to put a deposit, all I did was ask for an estimate, I had my car towed to them, and they were shady from the get go, I ended up getting my car towed back home, I found a place called Ashleys Automotive, thank the Lord I did they seem like very honest people (thats hard to find these days), I highly recommend them, Broadmoor garage the name sounds good but the mechanic just isnt knowledgeable as they should be I was going to just take it to Ford after that until I found Ashleys.

My mom has been using this garage for years. And they have been taking advantage of her. She has a 2001 Ford escort with 95,000 miles. She had car towed because of tapping sound and it was running really bad. Well they fixed everything on the car except for what it was brought in for. When I picked it up the bill was 1500.00 and would barely stay started. I immediately went back inside to speak with Scotty the manager. When he came out he didnt really want to listen to me. he drove the car, he said it wasnt running bad. Which I knew was wrong. If they test drove the car at all they would notice something was wrong. he took me on a test drive with him. He never stopped completely at a stop sign and drove the car like a wild man. Not ever giving the car the opportunity to show the problem. Said I could leave it and he would look at it. I told him I couldnt leave it right then. well I went back a few days later the car still running bad. Talked to Scotty again. And this man doesnt want to hear what you have to say. Told him I couldnt believe that they fixed all this stuff that had nothing to do with the reason the car came in. again he tells me if I leave it he can look at it and I tell him that my mother doesnt have the money now to have the car looked at again. Told him it was doing same thing it had done a year prior when they charged her 1700.00 + dollars for things that I knew it didnt need. New alternator and battery and they had both been replaced within two years. And a plethora of other things. And when I mentioned to him about all the money they charged her last year, Scotty says and I quotethat car isnt worth that much money. I said no it isnt. So WHY did you just do $1500.00 worth of work to it and didnt even fix the reason why it came in? Why didnt you tell my mother that the car was not worth that much money? Well she said it was making a noise. Okay dude so what youre going to fix anything that might make a noise? they did stuff to that car that it did not have to have, including new strut assemblies. He says well the car was riding really rough. So freaking what. He asked me if I wanted to leave the car or not. See Ive got to use this car to get my mother back and forth to dialysis three times a week. I told him I couldnt leave it because she didnt have the money to fix it. I go up there again yesterday. He says he hasnt seen it run bad. So I drive and he says something about the idle like its no big deal. And I tell him no its way worse than that. We get back he puts it on on a diagnostic machine it gives him a code for O2 sensor. Asks me again if I want him to look at it. And I tell him I dont know because my MOTHER DOESNT HAVE THE MONEY TO FIX IT BECAUSE YOU FIXED THINGS THAT DIDNT HAVE TO BE FIXED. And Scotty says yeah we didnt have to replace all that but the car was riding so rough Sure he called her initially and told her what needed to be fixed but never explained to her what those things were. She is 80 years old and knows NOTHING about cars. And she trusts this place. so shes thinking hes fixing the problem and the car is going to be fixed and running properly. But that is far from what transpired. Then the last time the car was there she had it towed because it was making a horrible clunking sound. They fixed the brake caliper. And the car continued to make the noise. It was the inner tie rods. But they never even checked that. Clunking and clicking are 2 totally different sounds. I could go on and on. so if anybody is reading this and you have an elderly parent or loved one that uses Broadmoor garage warn them about this issue of taking advantage. So my mom has spent 3 times what the car is worth and it still will barely run. All because she trusted them. I Also noticed whoever worked on car didnt replace all of the bolts or screws that they removed. Shoddy work! I wonder if the owner will reply to my review? Looking at the last couple of bad reviews probably not. I wonder if these ppl know that there are laws against taking advantage of the elderly?

I have used them over 10 times, over 15 years, for business and personal vehicles and they are always spot on...Professional Quotes are given in advance. I dont trust any negative reviews, I trust my own eyes and experiences. They have been in business since the 1950s, you cant do that by ripping people off! Unfortunately in Shreveport, people bring junkers to mechanics and they expect miracles by fixing one thing, and they want it done cheap and yesterday.

Big shoutout to this business, Scott (owner) and Shelby (tech) went above and beyond to help me out of a really sticky situation and save me as much money as possible. Both of these gentlemen communicated with me after the work was done to ensure their high quality service, and that satisfaction was met. Lesson learned though, if you have a Honda and need engine work done only replace parts with Honda parts! Thank you so much! You guys are hard working and very kind.

I took my truck there to get a front seal put in it they told me it will be $199 to put the seal in it took them two days to take the front pulley off of my truck when they took it out they told me it was nothing wrong with my front seal that I had a crack in my timing chain Cover and that it Would cost $1600 to fix it I told them no put my truck back together they charged me $170 did nothing asked to speak to the guy Scotty they told me he was on a test drive come to find out Scottie The older guy with the beard was standing in the office behind the door when I wouldn’t leave then he came out didn’t say nothing to me this place is nothing but a rip off if I could I would give them double zeros so to anyone thinking about going now please stay away Took my truck to someone else come to find that it was my front seal got it fixed for $65 ... so again PLEASE stay away from this place just a “BIG RIP OFF “

Never again will I bring my vehicle to this BS garage. Bad judgement on my part. Overcharging and replacing parts that were perfectly fine. Or not actually replacing them at all. Hey bud wheres my old parts? Oh we turn those in because they charge a core. Well shouldnt that reflect on my bill? Shouldnt I get that core money? It was my part. And you charged me 2 1/2 times what it cost yall. And the maximum hours you can charge for labor. Even tho you probably never replaced the part to begin with. I hate my awesome honest mechanic Randy Parker retired. That leaves only one honest shop in this area, Ashleys. I hate that I ever tried Broadmoor damnit.

Very disappointed. Ive used Broadmoor garage for so long. I trusted them completely. But this last time just ruined my trust. I paid almost $1500.00 and my car runs terribly. My daughter and son in law explained everything that was done to the car. And the purpose of those things. Most of which had nothing to do with the problem the car came in for. They did refund $255.00 because they quoted a lower price than the bill was. But that doesnt help me at all. I have no way to get to my dialysis now. And cannot afford to put car in shop again. Im so disappointed. My daughter has tried to tell me they were taking advantage of me. But I didnt listen because Ive always been treated so well. Then all this happened. My son in law drove from Lufkin Texas to try to handle what my daughter couldnt seem to accomplish. And he was treated so bad. He told the girl he wanted to talk to the manager about his mother in laws car. And no one ever came to speak to him. He waited 20 minutes. He was driving my car. I feel they recognised the vehicle and basically just ignored him. Its such a shame. Our family has been using Broadmoor garage since they opened. The disappointment is great.

This place was recommended by a Chevy dealership because my truck was “too old” for them to work on. I went to Broadmoor Garage hoping they would correctly diagnose a death wobble on my front end. I was charged $370 for them to diagnose my truck and send it back to me with no taillights. I went back to them for the taillights to be corrected and I was still forced to go home without working taillights. Not only did I lose money and go home without taillights that worked before I dropped it off, I also purchased what they told me I needed and had it put on elsewhere for much cheaper than the additional $750 they quoted to fix it for. Then I spent money on the part they suggested I have replaced and it was not even necessary. The truck still has a death wobble! Don’t take your vehicle here because they only want to take your money and play a guessing game. The mechanics are outdated and might not even know as much as you know about your vehicle.

I bought a part that I wanted installed and that wasnt the case. The older gentlemen patiently corrected me and told me my car was just fine, no repair needed. I was absolutely impressed with his honesty. No doubt about a CLASS act.

I have not visited this location yet but I look forward to doing business with them! I had been recommended by a friend and when I called with some questions the woman who answered my call was really kind. She answered all my questions and she explained how they operate. She made me feel welcomed and that really made me feel valued as a potential client. I have heard nothing but great things about this garage!

Will spend my money somewhere else. Amazing how long they been in business with the customer service like that.... NEXT!

After having been married for 40 years to a mechanic/handyman and having sons that know their way around cars, it was a bit unnerving to hand over my vehicle to be worked on when we couldnt figure out the problem. But I shouldnt have worried in the least. Scotty was able to figure it out and in no time at all I was back on the road. I feel like he bent over backwards to take care of my vehicle in a timely manner and within my budget. I definitely recommend Broadmore Garage and will use them again should the need arise.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Do NOT go here for anything unless you love to get ripped off and don’t care about your money. Took my car here only because it was suggested by Triple A. I’m now leaving after over a week and nothing getting done other than an outrageously priced quote. They wanted to charge me $400 for a $100 part (not including the labor for the fix), took a week just for a QUOTE, and tried to charge me over $200 for the “tests” that they ran but with no proof of said tests. They hope that you blindly give them your money without asking any questions. We tried to give Broadmoor Garage a chance but will never come back and you shouldn’t either.Edited to reply to the response from Broadmoor:Hi, what you are saying is incorrect. I don’t appreciate your attempt to post a large comment on this public forum making it look as though I was wrong and misunderstanding the situation. The car was NOT brought in because of a check engine light at all. The car stopped driving and was brought into Broadmoor from a Triple A tow company because of that. We brought our vehicle to Euroteck because they are much more transparent with what they are doing whereas Broadmoor garage ran tests without asking, tried to charge for it, and was misleading about what was being done throughout the process. We do not wish to support Broadmoor Garage and have no need to speak to anyone on the phone to have more words twisted around about what happened.

I was very impressed with this place. Within a couple of hours of dropping my truck off, they called and gave me the details & price on what it would take to fix. They were honest and stuck to the price they gave me. Had my truck back the same afternoon. I will def be using this place moving forward.

Toyota 2009 Tacoma was sputtering and the mass air flow sensor caused the engine light to come on. They called me with an estimate which they stuck to. I added some Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner to the gas and the truck is running superbly.Thanks Broadmoor Garage.

They did an Amazing job and the staff went above and beyond what it took to repair my vehicle and the pricing was better than other competitive shops. I have now found a shop I can trust and to top it off they even sent me a thank you card after repairing my car. ☺

I would give 0 stars if it was possible. They quoted me $850 to replace my fuel pump. My fuel pump was brand new and was just replaced not even 5 months ago. Already I knew that they didnt diagnose the problem. Not only did they charge the $104 for a diagnosis, but they threw in an extra 52 dollars of tests. They had no way of proving they ran these tests nor did I authorize them to do it. Scotty ended up charging the original $104 because he couldnt prove that he even did anything. Then I called Eurotek to get a quote on a fuel pump replacement and explained to them how Broadmoor was essentially ripping me off. Eurotek called Broadmoor to see what they were charging me and Broadmoor LIED and gave them a cheaper quote than the one they told me! Broadmoor then calls me again to give me another quote thats still more expensive than what they told Eurotek! I ended up leaving Broadmoor and getting my car towed to Eurotek where they told me that the fuel pump was not even the issue. All in all do NOT go to Broadmoor Garage! They are a RIP OFF! They were going to originally charge me $850 for a fuel pump replacement and it was not even the problem! Stay away from these crooks!!! The only reason I went there is because it was AAA certified. Never again!EDIT****** THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO BROADMOOR GARAGES POSTAgain... this is a lie. My car was not brought in for a check engine light. My car was brought in because it died in a parking lot and was no longer functioning.Again... I did not sign nor authorize you guys to charge me for an extra $52 dollars of test that I had no idea that you even did.Again... your diagnostic test failed when Eurotek called me to tell me that it was not the fuel pump.Again... you did not get me a fuel pump at a reduced cost. You were wanting me to spend almost 400 dollars on a part that I did not need. I knew that my part was under warranty and I was told by the W 70th OReillys that the N Market OReillys delivers to you guys. So, I gave you the OReilleys commercial account number that I originally ordered the part under. That is the only way you helped in getting my part. Do not make it seem like you got me that part at a reduced cost, you had nothing to do with the price of the part. By the way, for anyone who is reading this. The fuel pump I ordered from ORilleys was $110 compared to the almost $400 pump that Broadmoor Garage thought they could swindle me into getting.Again... you did misdiagnose my car. Eurotek called and said that my fuel pump was not the problem.

My ball joint broke on my truck while on a job hunt. Im from out of town so imagine my frustration. Im Veteran with limited income so I was scared it would be costly but it wasnt. They gave me a great deal and great customer service. They towed my truck that afternoon and it was repaired by the next morning. If you are in a situation like mine. Go with Broadmoor.

They changed me for parts that I supplied. They chose not to do services without checking with me first. My truck was hit, or wrecked while in their possession, minor, but damaged non the less.

They ruined my tint!!! I specially asked them to inform me before putting sticker but they any how try to remove the previous one which damaged my tint !!! Also, I had to ask for the receipt....isnt store suppose to provide customer a receipt?? #IRS should look into this place closely!!! I wouldnt RECOMMEND!!!

Good garage, did a car inspection and checked the brakes.

I live in Kansas City and was looking to buy an old Ford truck from Blakely Auto Plex, without being able to look at it on my own. I had Broadmoor look over the truck to ensure that it was what the dealer had represented. Thankfully Broadmoor was much more reasonable than many of the other auto service places and they were extremely nice and easy to deal with. Im also glad they looked over the truck and provided me a complete report because the truck was not as represented by Blakely Auto Plex. I would do business with Broadmoor Garage again, anytime!
