Estimate of $400+ only to install rear brake drums on my 2000 Chevy Prizm YIKES!! Definitely calling else where.

I have been a customer for years. They are honest and efficient.

Went in for a quote for mounts. Tried to say parts and labor is 1900 and thats a great deal. I went to subaru the dealer.. they only wanted 1350 with genuine parts and service. There quote was the same amount of hours. Whats the point going here, there isnt. Upcharge on parts and labor thats honestly terrible. In my honest opinion..They probably dont even put genuine parts just some after market trash. Just to pocket more money.

Good service. Good price. Russell the service Mgr quoted me on the phone, and then in person after briefly looking at the issue, then when I returned after the work was completed it was even cheaper! He told me he got the parts cheaper and so instead of increasing his net he likes to kick it back to the customer! Great sales line and good way to keep people coming back.

Oil change service was done quick and employees were informative with suggested maintenance from courtesy check

U go in with one issue, they suggest many other big repairs

The midas on rt 9 in Shrewsbury ma do at great job on what ever they are working on and the try to save you some money without cutting corners. I would give them a call and you try them and you will not be disappointed. The staff works with the customer to give them a really good price on what the are working on. I will be back and you will not be disappointed. Also was there on 7/11/19 Andrew went out of his way to find the lowest price that he could which he did. I had my front brakes done and he made sure that there were done right. The staff does a good job with its customers and will show if something else is wrong and they do not try to sell you something that you do not need. I will be back if I need something else done. I would recommend this shop and you will get it done right the first time and you will not leave disappointed.

These guys are hands down amazing -I always go to my machanic because I trust them, however I didn’t have time today to have them do my oil change, first time at MidasNo pressure they don’t try and over sell things or up sell . They looked at my breaks. My filters. Gave my a quote told me my breaks were fine nothing wrong with them.Again no pressure. At the end they shook my hand and thanked me for my serviceAwesome job gentlemen thank you for every thing.

Been here twice. Both times they have been very good to me and my car. Second time I went, I had them discharge my A/C and that was all. They didnt even charge me.Couldnt be happier with their service and professionalism.

Took my 88 MR2 in for an alignment and didnt realize my rear tie rod sleeve was bent. They test drove it, checked the alignment on the machine, and inspected all the suspension components. After deciding they couldnt perform the work, and finding out that the required parts werent available, they refused to charge me for anything. The manager told me just to tip the mechanic, and the mechanic wouldnt even take a $20. Very respectable guys.

Russell was the man to go to for answers and would go out of his way to help you.. but now that hes gone Im surprised they didnt make Todd the supervisor.. only reason I gave two stars is because Todd is a great mechanic but who ever is in charge now is terrible. Went in early to get something checked out only to have the manager now tell me to go to the dealership.. like gee thanks for that(Russ always tried to help you not tell you go elsewhere for small issues) I will take my business elsewhere.

I used Midas for several times because it is very close to my work. In previous times I was satisfied but I had a very unpleasant experience this morning: I scheduled a routine maintain at 9:30 and my wife and I arrived before 9:15 since she will give me a ride to work. When we arrived there were two people at the front desk and they are just returning from previous service (I guess the 7:30 slot), and the Midas people just keep talking to them without any words or attentions on us. When we asked how long we may be waiting and he just replied one minute rudely and even without a look on us. Maybe he is in a hurry but I dont understand why he is so patient and kind to other customers. We waited for almost half an hour but no one took care of us even though they have other people chatting and relaxing in the working zone. I still gave them two stars because of the previous services but I will never use them nor recommend them due to their poor custom service.

I took my car in for an exhaust replacement since that is what Midas does best. The mechanic there told me that I needed to replace the muffler and resonator. They quoted me just under $800. They ended up charging me more than double for the muffler at $260 and $230 for the resonator (just for the parts). I called another mechanic in Worcester that told me they could have fixed the entire problem at $450 including labor. I believe I was ripped off and will never go back to one of these chains. Avoid this place like the plague and find a local mechanic who you can trust.

I have visited this location countless times (have two very used cars). Every time, I have been treated fairly and with respect. Items are clearly reviewed with you. You will be shown exactly what issues you have on your vehicle (if you care to see for yourself). You will be infomred as to which issues are minor, which are of greater importance, and which should be addressed immediately. Everyone makes mistakes. This location rarely does, but if they do, they admit to it, and will make it right insisting you not pay the price. Prices seem competitive. If the job winds up being a very simple one, and takes very little time, they will often not charge you for it, especially if you are a frequent customer. They honor their own coupons without hesitation. The manager, Steve, and his entire staff is customer service oriented. I usually deal with Bobby who is knowledgeable, friendly, and mindful of your schedule and financial needs. Workmanship is top notch and their staff trustworthy. I go no place else for my car maintenance. Nice TV, coffee, clean restroom, penty of seating and free wifi, so you can work or play. Places to eat across the street if you have a longer wait. Highly recommended!

Was told I needed new pads in the rear even though its a drum brake. They apologized but that lack of expertise worried me so I just had them change my oil.I also had a co-worker have his brakes replaced here and the mechanic who worked on his car did not put the lug nuts back on his pick-up and the tire flew off on the highway wrecking the front end of his car. Im know they were paying to have the truck fixed but refused to provide a refund for the brake job. Very poor business practice after almost killing someone if you ask me. There are plenty of other shops in the area. Avoid this place

They fixed my problem quickly

Cheap but not durable. Had my headlights, pipe, and brake pads changed there one year ago. None of them in good condition now. Be caution of this.
