Mike is great, dont get me wrong. I do hope this review is taken as helpful criticism instead of negativity; but I have been going to him for years and he has restored my old Mac book, fixed my phone screens, fixed my computer hard drive, and even hooked up a printer I couldnt figure out for me. Im sorry but at one point I respected this person much like I respect my friends or family....I am AUTISTIC, I get overwhelmed by things easily and I called asking him about processors for computers since technology changed a lot since 2015. He yelled at me on the phone for no reason before I got to ask what I was needing to ask, and Im sorry Mike...but you really should remember Ive been there to help you in your time of need...TWICE! I dont ask anything of you ever but I was hurt when you couldnt even help me figure out what computers had and didnt and what I needed. I really wish you knew how hurt I was. I called to see how much it was to fix a already black screen on my laptop and see how much a part was for a computer...and I LEGITIMATELY HAVE TO BLOCK MY NUMBER TO GET AHOLD OF HIM.I am sorry if this comes off mean Mike, but I dont mean it as negativity, I want you to see it as helpful criticism. Im sorry I volunteered to help you move your shop TWICE and helped you when you needed it. Im honestly appalled that I even volunteered to help you move, not once but twice. It hurts me deeply and I trusted you....sorry.

My 7 year old HP laptop died on a recent trip, while I was trying to submit a paper for class. I brought it to Best Buys Geek Squad (they were unable to repair older laptops) and another repair shop that took two weeks just to diagnose it (also could not repair). Then I found Nisar, from SmartFix. Previously at a smaller location, he was very professional and stated that he will diagnose it within a few days. After the diagnosis, Nisar called and told me it was motherboard issue and he has tried to replace a few of the capacitors, but no luck. To mitigate this, I would need a replacement motherboard. So he did a search and found a new one with a fair price plus labor. I agreed on the price, gave him the thumbs up to purchase it, and it was repaired within few days later upon the delivery of a new motherboard he had found. I am very happy that he was able to fix it, as I needed the laptop for school work and in a reasonable time. Nisar kept me updated and in communication throughout the process with realistic timeframes. With the expansion to a larger store and better location, I recommend going to Nisar for your electronic repair needs.

I came here to have my laptop serviced. Unfortunately, they were not open during their hours of operation. I’m pretty upset because I drove quite a ways to get here just to find out the owner never stays until close and frequently leaves early. Can’t rate you on your service if you’re not there to provide it.

DON’T BE DECEIVED by their saying “my friend” because they LIE to you!In brief, they LIE to customer, UNPROFESSIONAL and can only do very basic jobs. I can’t judge whether the price is reasonable because they REFUSE to give details of the part they use. They look fine personality when you first come but become RUDE after you give your devices to them because they know they will charge you anyway.1. They lied to me and tried to fool me: My laptop had some issue. They first said they would order the motherboard from official manufacturer, so I asked them about the official website, phone or show me the email where they ordered from. Then they said they would order the motherboard from eBay. I asked for the eBay link they would order from but they refused. They said you need to choose to fix it here, pay it but don’t ask anything, or pay the diagnose fee, take it back and go somewhere else.2. They just do very basic jobs and aren’t very professional: disassembling, simple diagnose, and change the whole motherboard. So if you have something that’s easy to checked out, like screen broken, they can do it. But if there is something that need professional skill, they can’t fix it, such as advanced circuit diagnose on the board and change of the chips by soldering. They don’t have the specialized tools and can only change the whole thing.3. They didn’t response as they do the diagnose. After I sent my laptop there for a week, I called them and asked whether they had done the diagnose. They said yes and they need to change the whole motherboard. I was curious why they waited until I called them. Then I asked how much they charge for it so I could decide to continue or not. They said ok and they would response in 2 hours. But they didn’t response after that. I waited for another 4 days and called them again. They said they will response and for the second time they finally priced it.4. I can’t say whether the price is reasonable. But seems they knew there are customers that won’t be fooled easily so they speeded up the fixing work in the end. Apart from the first time meeting them, they were saying “my friends” here and there. After I left my laptop there, they become rude and bad personality.Hope this would be helpful for people who are going here to fix your electronic devices.

I wanted some upgrades done for my five year old gaming laptop - not only did they do it for a reasonable price, they did it within a timely manner and were very communicative throughout the process. My laptop is running better than ever now!

We went in ordered parts. Came in week later. He refused to sell us power chord unless we paid him left computer for labor? We didnt want labor just parts. He was extremely rude over telephone, grabbed parts out of hands instead of selling to us.? He behaves like a child throwing a tantrum. Place is disorganized, messy, cluttered. We waited a week more just ordered from Dell online. I advise anyone thinking about going here to run in any direction but here. Terrible person the owner, rude, slimey.

When I asked my the rep at local Verizon Wireless where I can fix the cracked screen on my iPhone, they said best repair shop was just around the corner, SmartFix. i walked over and the owner N replaced the screen a very low price in only 15 minutes. Since he also fixes motherboards and laptops, I asked him about fixing keyboard on my old laptop. He is friendly, honest, professional, a true electronics geek (based on all the computer parts and motherboards in various states of repair).

Expert repair and fast turnaround. My Samsung year and a half old S7s screen was starting to separate from the body. Smart Fix diagnosed that my battery was starting to expand - I was charging it to often - and was able to install a new battery and reattach the screen. It was fixed in one hour and only cost $70. I would highly recommend.

Stay AwayThis guy said he could fix my screen (both the visual and touch aspect) for around $200. I was skeptical going in as he is not in a great location. I asked him many questions about the device and what had to be done. I was specifically sure to ask that this was good quality and wouldnt break a week later. Well it did! But even before that, as he replaced the front of my phone, he cracked the back of my phone. He had to keep it longer and at that point, neither side was original. I thought it was unprofessional and he was inexperienced to have cracked the back of the phone while fixing the front. I took the phone and less than a month later while the phone was in my purse, the screen broke (only the visual screen). I went back to him to see what could be done as there was no crack or dent. He said it was my fault and something must have happened to it. This is not true at all! There was no evidence of mishandling. He just wanted more money and didnt take any responsibility for his crappy work. My screens were not laying flat and to anyone, it would have been noticeable that the screens were replaced. Do not go to SmartFix.

Scam artist, If there was a zero star I would give them that. i repair my screen and the screen fell off few days later. he wouldnt replace the screen, wanted me to pay it again to have the screen replaced because he said I damaged it and that wasnt covered under their parts and labor warranty. I am absolutely appalled at their customer services skills and their total lack of respect for the customer.

Like other negative reviews, SmartFix quickly and cheaply fixed a loose part on my laptop, and clearly told me that if the same part became loose again, he would fix it at no charge. Within ONE week, the SAME exact part did indeed become loose, and when I brought it to him, he said “no, this is something different” and said I would need to pay. NO WAY. And when we were shopping for a used iPad, he CLEARLY said he had a TWO YEAR warranty, which he said “is better than any other warranty you’ll find.” But after we bought the iPad, we asked him to write on the receipt that he has a two year warranty policy, when he smiled at us and said “Did I say that? My longest warranty is one year.” Then before we could even respond, he said “I don’t want to do business with you, just return the iPad and I’ll give you your money back.” When we went to return the iPad the next day (after erasing our data on it), he started harassing us, asking “what’s wrong with it? Why are you returning it? I never told you to return it….” And then he refused to give us all our money back!!!! At first he seems like a very friendly and accommodating person, but as soon as something goes wrong or he realizes you plan to hold him to his warranty policy, he becomes very MEAN and NASTY and completely unprofessional. DO NOT trust any warranty he offers you!!! This guy is a SCAM ARTIST – BEWARE.
