This is the second time I have used these guys and I have been so happy. I got an awesome refurbished MacBook Air for about half the cost of what I would have paid at another retailer. (It seems brand new). They also have great customer service!

Purchased MacBook Pro through Amazon. It arrived in perfect condition, although the courier left my $1600 package sitting outside my front door without requesting a signature! Very happy with Gainsaver service and 90-day warranty - the charging cord fell apart after 1 month, they shipped out a replacement within 24 hours, and it arrived in Canada within 4 days.

I am very disappointed with gainsaver customer service. UPS packaged and shipped a return to them. Gainsaver claims that the computer arrived to them damaged. But Gainsaver refuses to work with UPS or with me to resolve the issue. I paid $1500 for the computer and all gainsaver can tell me is that they are sorry. Attached is a picture I took at the UPS store before they packaged and shipped the computer...no damages.

Awful experience. A friend of mine bought an imac from gainsaver. After a couple of weeks it crashed. He shipped it back to them using UPS. They said the computer arrived damaged. Gainsaver refuses to work with UPS to resolve the issue. Their customer service is very very poor.

Awful experience purchasing through Overstock. Paid $1,500 for a MacBook Pro, less than a month in, it has hardware issues. Gainsaver said to take it to Apple. All Apple stores are closed because theres a global pandemic (which Im sure theyre aware of). No apologies, no offer to fix, exchange, or refund. Had to make a claim through PayPal. Hopefully well get a refund that way.Update: Overstock is refunding :)

Bought a $1000 macbook pro (2015) and after a year of the purchase it wont turn on anymore. It was the only time I purchased anything from gainsaver without getting a warranty on it. Coincidence? Hmmm..

You get what you pay for. Bought two refurbished MacBooks and both of them have continuously failed. Keep in mind there is NO warranty and their refurbished products. You are on your own and the repairs have added up on BOTH products I purchased through them. Will never buy from them ever again. Very evasive when I called to ask about warranty. Buyer beware.

My small business bought a laptop from them on March 11th. We paid to expedite and sent a check image to save 4%. The order sat on Being prepared for far too long and when we called we were told there was an issue with the computer. Then they tried to sell us a different computer with less than we wanted, for more money. We said no, please cancel the order. Order was cancelled, check never sent. Weve called every week and have been told to place a service request online. All we get is a canned response that the check is being processed.Well be taking this up through legal channels. Obviously, this company is a scam. I WISH I had read the reviews and BBB information before buying from them. We spent $1,700 and could possibly never see that again.

I placed my order for two computers, they sent me a confirmation followed by an email apology saying that they are a HUGE company and sell on multiple e commerce sites so the laptops i purchased are not available and wanted me to buy other laptops brand. i asked them to cancel the order and refund me. it has been over 3 weeks and still never refunded me.

Unfortunately, the company appears to practice bait and switch. I saw on their website that the Apple computers I was needing were in-stock. I called their sales number to confirm they had three (3) of those computers in stock, which the salesperson confirmed. I then placed an order via their website. The following day I received an email explaining that they do a second quality check on their computers prior to shipping and that all THREE computers failed. The email went on to state that I would be receiving a replacement quote for similar hardware. I later received a quote for hardware that was manufactured a year prior to the equipment I had originally ordered and was actually more expensive. I checked their website and it turns out that the equipment I originally ordered was still in-stock, but $200 higher than the price I had ordered yesterday. They do not have any live customer service reps, you can only correspond by the messaging system on their website. I tried to get them to explain why they would not ship me the hardware I ordered, since it appears that they have it in-stock even though it was priced higher than yesterday. I also inquired how all THREE computers could have failed inspection, that seemed very odd. I later got a quote, for older hardware with less RAM for the same price as the newer hardware ordered earlier. I asked again why they couldnt ship me the hardware I ordered since they have it in stock. Instead of an answer, I simply got a cancellation email. Obviously they do not stand by their prices and they dont care enough to even talk to their customers when a problem comes up.

Have great selection of products and are a reliable service! Planning on buying a second laptop from them soon! Would definitely recommend!

Total nightmare of a company. First computer had a huge scratch on the screen. Returned it. Second wouldnt stay on. Returned it. Third computer was scratched and would not stay on. Returned it. Finally quit and despite 4 customer service tickets opened requesting a refund (returns were well-within the warranty window), yet they NEVER issued it. I finally had to dispute the charges with my credit card and Gainsaver wrongfully told my bank that I didnt include the power cable and mouse in the return(?!?!?!). All quality and warranty promises from this company are bogus. Pay the couple of extra bucks, buy elsewhere, and RUN from this scamming company.

This place is a joke. My husband chose a Apple laptop from their used selection. He was leaving town for work. He had me place the order. I receive a call that that computer did not pass inspection.Would I be interested in another model. I was not. They suggested looking at the website and choosing one from there. They are always changing and updating the selection. Caught with my husband. Who is on the road at work. He provides me with another choice. I call them back. Surprise, that one is not available also. But, our suggestion is available. Well, that was not what my husband wanted. Wasted half the day and canceled the order. The attitude of the operator was so poor. And the company failed on a few levels itself. I would never recommend doing business with this bunch. Husband came in. Went to a much better website. Found what he wanted. Ordered it. And when he got home from his next run. His new, old laptop was there. No fuss, no muss when you deal with a reputable outfit

***Buyer BEWARE*** This company is a scam! They post pictures of newer model computers to get you interested so I purchased a I mac. When I received it I realized the false advertising and I asked them to send out a call tag so I can return the computer. THEY took forever to respond! When they did respond they have a list of reason for not giving a refund and the most obvious is in red type and extra large It states that if the computer has any damages they will keep the full price you paid with no refund.Finally I shipped the computer in its original packaging back to gain saver They said that the computer was damaged but only a slight bend in the stand the actual computer it self worked perfectly I never used it.They informed me after waiting 2 months for my refund that there will be no refund because UPS must have damaged the stand while shipping. I then asked them to file a claim with UPS since they supplied the call tag it has nothing to do with me. They have not refunded my money and are fighting hard to keep my full purchased amount. This is horrible business and no human everything is done over the internet which makes it impossible to get anything settled and they purposely are taking over 4 months now and I still do not have my refund! Do business with MAC or other company with real live people. This company is a joke and a scam DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY THEY WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF one way or another!

When I decided to get a MAC computer, the MAC mini fit my needs great! Moving files from my older desktop was a breeze. I am glad I paid for the shipping insurance and extra diagnostics - its worth every dollar. Plan to get a Backup HD next from GainSaver!

I have had some great finds from Gainsaver, however my father-in-law purchased a computer and they mailed him the wrong one. Gainsaver is refusing to make it right. Super dissapointing. 👎

I purchased an Apple Time Machine from Gainsaver several years ago. It was like new and installed easily on my iMac. After it had been backing up my Mac for about 2 years, it saved my data when the hard drive failed on the iMac, so I was very glad I had made the investment!

Bought my mom a macbook for her birthday and the laptop was in excellent shape and perfect for her. The laptop came pretty fast and hasnt had any problems and she has had it for about more than a year now. Love gainsaver!!!!! Now I need to get one for myself so I can use it to further my youtube channel.

This is our third computer from Gainsaver and have been satisfied with each purchase.

I have had nothing but problems with this company. The first MacBook we ordered, we did not receive the model ordered. Since the model we received was close to what was ordered, and, my wife did not want to hassle with a return, we didnt pursue. Figuring it was a simple mistake, I ordered a MacBook for myself, and also didnt receive the model I ordered. I actually received a better model that what I ordered. However, all things considered, I still would have rather received what I ordered. Not learning my lesson, I sold my 13 MacBook to GainSaver, and it took 40 days to get a check. This after having to open 3 customer service tickets, continued follow up, and a BBB complaint.

They will only try to scam you by sending you a defective unit and then make it impossible to get a refund. Read the dozens of consumer complaints like mine: The laptop I bought because it was scratched and wouldnt stay turned on. After returning the computer, they refused to answer my 4 refund requests... yet still fought my credit card dispute on bogus claims that I didnt return the mouse. Shop elsewhere.

Scam, stay away, they sell Apple laptops that are still linked to old users accounts, these laptops get remotely locked and tagged as stolen.
