Second time not happy with customer service at this location. Which was corrected by service manager after completing about his employee. I was disrespected and was told that I need to wait in the wait room as he didnt have time to initiate my work order and was in hurry to go home, and it was too complicated for him, and was yelling at me from distance. All this after having an week long appointment to get my car serviced.Terrance the service manager was very nice as took over my responsibility did it himself, but he needs to train his staff and manage them well.Another horrible experience at servicing my vehicle here.Beware when you go to service your vehicle here, last visit mechanic forgot tighten the oil screw after changing oil, I had to tow my car to nearest dealer to.get it done.
Customer service is definitely last on their list. There may only be 2 customers in the line, but guaranteed 20 mins wait. The person I had the appointment with was just chatting with the coworker until he left. Then she says Can i help you?
The front the desk guy was very helpful. The technicians were as usual not super helpful. Not a fan of Toyota techs in general but these make you seem like you havent been driving a car for 10+ years. If a car was as easy as getting ride of your dentist, doctor, cell phone carrier I would find a new one. Not this Toyota in general just most. As I mentioned though the front desk person who attended my needs was great I forgot to get his name. Usually the folks who check you out and you pay for the services and pick up your keys. He walked with me to the tech, talked to me throughout it all. Good guy shouldnt be working there hell take a lot of customers pushback for Toyota which they dont deserve.
I love Darcars, more specific the Darcars in cherry hill road Silver Spring. I bought over 6 cars with them for my business. Anthony the sales person is awesome! I highly recommend you go to him because he treats his customers with care. I will always recommend this place to others.
*UPDATED* I had a great buyer experience here and I ended up with a fantastic car. However, I left a few items on accident inside the vehicle I traded in. I called several times to confirm I could come pick the items up (this is the day after the trade in) and twice was put on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on. When I showed up to get my personal items, the traded in car had already been taken to service and I presume that my GPS, apple charging cord, and aux cord were taken out because I was only returned some of my items. The customer service seems poor as well as communication. I spent well over an hour on the phone, the majority of which was spent on hold.I was contacted by the corporate office for a replacement of my items. I was sent a new aux cord and charger, no Garmin.
Went in to purchase a Corolla. Their prices were way too high. $3000.00 what they call MARK UP for shortage. Shortage in their department does NOT mean I have to pay a higher price for what I need. I will be buying from another store nearby. I am on my way.
Jessica, in the service department, was a pleasure. She was polite and professional. She emphasized with my predicament and was able to get me on my way in a respectable time.Their amenities and accommodations are very nice. I appreciated their coffee machine that doesnt use wasteful single-use packaging.

My daughter and I went to Rockville, Md Darcars and purchased her a car from them in February 2021. She has had this car for 4 months paying for a car that they can not get tags on because they do not have ownership to the car. We have been trying to get her tags and the title to the car witch they do not have and can not get. This is her first car and the worst experience ever. Every time we call it’s a different lie, she have been in a loaner car for about a month and her car is sitting on there lot as we speak now and still nothing….. SMH,At the end of the day Stop selling people cars when you do not have ownership of them. Stop taking people for granted bc what goes around comes back around. Would never recommend DARCARS to anyone. They are old fashion back door techniques salespeople. Went in to buy a car they had. They would not give me a out the door price for the car or price for trade in unless we negotiated. Told them multiple times we had our own finances. They came back with a low ball deal. Added back in the fright charge and many other fees. Gave us 2500 less for our car then other dealers and the worst thing, pulled our credit without our authorization. Finally just left and told them no thanks. Drove 2 hours north into PA and got a awesome deal with no pressure at Outten Kia. Still thinking about suing to get mark on our report removed. NEVER BUY OR DEAL WITH DARCARS COMPANY ESPECIALLY DARCARS OF FREDRICK.

The clerks were slow, however, they were polite. They also informed me that the parts I needed were out of stock, therefore, there was a three week waiting time before it would be delivered. Low and behold, I was surprized when I received a call first thing the following morning that my order was in. Bittersweet!
Different year same issue with the service department at Silver Spring Darcars Dodge. Dropped vehicle off at 7 a.m. as directed. Starting at 3 P.M. tried calling for an update, got the rep is busy he will call right back. Played this game until 6 P.M. and was told your rep went home and did not update the computer so we cant tell you anything until tomorrow. I went by their office at 6:15 p.m. . I was then informed my vehicle had not been looked at, they are running way behind and that vehicles never get looked at on the day they are brought in....that would have been helpful information when I dropped it off. They have lost my business forever.
Watch out when you see your first statement. There is a fraudulent signature on the contract document. That is not my signature. This needs to be investigated. It is cheating!!!! I dont recommend anyone to work with their finance office. Fake people trying to rip of working family!!!

We are from Pennsylvania, We looked all over for a f250 white diesel truck. We found 1 at this dealership drove 2 hrs to see it, test drove it, there was a tire sensor light on, they took it to the garage but couldnt get the sensor off,we decided to go ahead and purchase it. Coming home 1/2 hr into the trip the engine coolant light light came on so the next day called the dealer ship oh check the water and ratio amount. Then about a week later the truck started running ruff so we contacted the manager and said taking the truck to a dealership in our area. The dealership found no sensor in the tires,and no air filter or gauge in airfilter box.upon getting the bill contacted the dealer ship and explained the bill and what was found that was 707/20.We have called the manager and and service dept and anybody that would listen. As of 2/3/21we were told that this truck passed Maryland standard inspection and what Pennsylvania inspection is totally up to our states is different. We had a 30 day 3000 mile warranty so that evidently didnt play into this situation because we will not be receiving and money back on this matter.So I would advise anyone looking to purchase a vehicle from this dealership please make sure the vehicle is in in top running condition and make sure they stand behind the warranty because we got taken advantage of and we can keep the next buyer getting the same treatment we did nobody would stand behind the other kept putting on the next person totally discussed with the dealer ship and any management there will never buy another vehicle from this dealership.

The service department really cares about the customer needs. They are quick, efficient and for service advisor, Jason, was top notch.
Service reps are very knowledgeable! I did have an issue with grease from the mechanic on the interior of my door after a $2,500 repair job. Once my service rep was made aware, they gave me a rental vehicle detailed my entire vehicle. I was very happy and I recommend this place.

I had a very pleasant purchasing experience at DARCARS recently. I live out of town and have to drive a hundred + miles to the dealership. Hongyu and his manager (sorry I forgot his name) were very helpful throughout the process. They are extremely efficient in responding to all of my questions and concerns, giving helpful suggestions for document preparation and getting everything ready for the transaction. I was able to come in and out the dealership with my new car in about 2 hours. I am very impressed and will definitely buy from DARCARS again in the future.
Bait and switch kings. I made appointment to see 2 SUVs, 1 I really loved...older vehicle with rely low miles. I called 2 times before driving to Maryland to see it and 1 time en route to make sure it was still available... When I got there I was told they were both no longer available. However, it was never taken off website. So I called to make an appointment to see the SUV 3 days later and they happily made one for me.
Hello, I went to the used cars side and I was told that they good help me even if my credit wasn’t all that great. So I went there, around 10am I didn’t leave there until 7pm. I left there with no car to drive home. I even was trying to put money down, but I guess my money wasn’t enough either. If you do not have good credit or a job that pays a lot or a co signer do not go here. They will play the most games with you. While I was there I seen so much go on . How one salesman told a Latino couple that he will be right back to his desk, he did not show up at all for like two hours. Someone else had to come back and tell them that they could not help them. I was like wow, mean while I’m just sitting here waiting on someone to give me some good news. If you looking for a good car dealer that will help you I strongly suggest you go to Mr. Car. I went there and I left with a car the same day and it only took about 2 hours for everything. Hope this helps someone. #Mr.Car🎈🎈

I tried calling to get a car transported. They kept transferring me from one person to the next over and over. These people don’t know what they’re doing. Never even got to actually speak with someone. Just kept getting switched from one person to the next. Unbelievable.
I have dealt with them 4 over 20 years. Always very busy, but I take my Toyota cars there when I need expert service and dont care about the cost. If my local gas station can do the job at half the price, why bother. Most of the staff a competent and helpful.

I purchased a car on 8/2. It was repossessed by the dealer on 9/11. When i went to the dealership on the same day, no one wanted to talk to nor did anyone acknowledge me or my situation. i was treated with my disrespect! I was never notified that the finance company rejected my loan on 8/12. I was not contacted by anyone at the silver spring dealership. here it is 9/17 and they still have my down payment and my belongings. They are gamesters. No to be trusted at all. Truly poor customer service.
Took my car in for service (purchased my vehicle from a different location) and to look at an additional vehicle for my daughter who is about to turn 16. Berry is phenomenal and makes the entire car purchasing experience. I wouldn’t want to have to buy a car from anyone else. If there is ever an issue, he straightens it out immediately, and you can take him on his word when he says he will take care of it.

I am very unhappy about the service provided from Darcars Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Silver Spring. I came in for a oil change and tire rotation. I was informed that I had a hole in the wheel wall of my tire with the pressure dropping rapidly. At this point I am confused; because I drove 20 miles to the location sat in the parking lot for 15-20 mins getting my infant daughter prepared. Before handing my key over it was no low air pressure indicators.i spoke with the service manager Brain Paige who told me it was impossible for this issue to occur in their shop. A very ignorant statement from the service manager to provide a customer. As a customer all I want is a good, honest service and this location has failed to provide. I encourage all customers to avoid this location if possible.

I just spent three days emailing and calling with the digital sales representative Sandra about a 4runner they had listed on their website. The price was low for the model and I had a couple of questions to set my mind at ease. I was told they had posted it incorrectly and that I would get the correct price on the car and be set up with an appointment the following business day. Through multiple days of tracking down which dealership the car was at so that I could check it out, I finally figured out on my own that the car didnt ever exist and that it must be a virus that is causing the posting to show. I was reassured no less than three times by Sandra that the car was around and they were working on the price prior to reaching out. It goes to show you that the bait and switch is alive and well, or that the dealership has a hacker that posts a vehicle with 27 pictures, a carfax report, and all pertinent details of a car to their website to stick it to them...
Ill explain later why I gave it one star!Updated 8/1/19The reason I gave DARCARS one star is because I had recently in Feb of 2018 purchased a brand new Toyota Highlander XLE not from this dealer but a different dealer. Anyway three months in to owning this vehicle the SUV had shutdown while I was driving on my way to take my wife to the doctor for a check up due to her having surgery on her hip.Now the issue was we get to DARCARS and we explain the issue that we have with the vehicle and that the vehicle is brand spanking NEW! Literally NEW with only 1600 miles on it. STILL under warranty. Now most dealers would be like okay we should put you in a rental car so we can find out whats wrong with your car. We were offered no rental, the service guy that took our information did not listen to what I was telling him what wrong with the vehicle. Instead of the dealer calling and letting us know whats wrong with the vehicle I had to call everyday to get an update. They had our SUV for 5 days. FINALLY figured out that it was some metal shavings that happened to get in the battery area that should be clean but it happened at the plant where the vehicle was built. By the way the technicians never put the screws back on the panel under the middle row back on! No worries I took it to the dealership where I bought the car and had way better service! They even knew about the situation and was ready to get me a brand new SUV!I am however grateful for Corporate Toyota calling and handling the situation. I have had the vehicle since it has been fixed and it has worked fine.

Worse customer experience as possible from Darcars service team...thought company was a customer based organization but Im here to tell you, absolutely not!!!! First of all I had a Dodge Ram 1500 that I took in for service for mechanical issues to the Dodge dealer on Auth Way in Camp springs Md. After being advised that the problem was fixed and receiving back after 2 days...problem persisted and I had to have it TOWED to the same dealer 3 separate times for the same problem. After the third time picking up vehicle and it cutting off before I left the lot, they gave me a rental and said they would fix problem for good. 30 days later I still had the rental and I finally called Dodge customer relations and spoke with Adama...big mistake!!! Adama contacted dealer and after 2 days I received a call from Dave, service manager, saying that the problem was corrected, Dave informed me that they did nothing to vehicle for more than 30 days but after he test drove it, after receiving calls from Dodges customer relations team, everything seemed fine. I spoke with service managers Dave and Malcolm, service technician Stephan...all were no help at all so thats why I reached out to corporate customer service. I reached out to Adama again, at customer service and said how can they do nothing to the vehicle in more than 30 days, test drive it and say its fixed?? She informed me that I needed to return rental because she spoke with Dave the service manager and he informed her the truck was working, even though they did absolutely nothing. I picked up vehicle and 2 days later, same problem happened! Instead of wasting my time with Dodge again and there BS I bought a Ford!!! If you want good and knowledgable service teams...dont waste your time at Dodge in DMV area

I was told that the vehicle had no previous accidents however you can tell that the vehicle has been in some minor finder binders meaning more than one. Well they ended up purchasing the vehicle. Not a whole 24hours later the vehicle was losing coolant. Since there is a 30 day 1000 mile dealer warranty. I contacted the salesman as well as the sales manager both gave me the run around. Long story short it was the water pump and I ended up fixing the vehicle myself. Im out of pocket $300.00. Next step BBB. Buyers BEWARE. T. Jones.
