Last month my husband and I visited Ethan Allen in Skokie and worked with Maria Louise on numerous visits to purchase a sofa/chairs and more to outfit my sunroom/living room. Unfortunately, we didnt buy, but not due to Maria Louise. In fact, she jumped through hoops to help us - knowing we were indecisive and a bit unorganized re our needs.Wanted to give Maria Louise a shout-out. She was kind, attentive, detailed and gave more customer service than Ive seen in many - especially while on our quest to redecorate our home. Should my husband and I revisit our redecorating needs, we will certainly return to Ethan Allen.Coming from a family owned restaurant and knowing the need to win hearts and minds via customer service - your gal, Maria Louise, lived up to our expectations. We have bought numerous furnitures and furnishings from Ethan Allen for many years and have never been disappointed. The workmanship of the furnitures are excellent. The latest furniture I ordered was a Buffet. I am very happy and satisfied with it. Its Classic and dainty. Very well made.

I bought my entire new living room here. Custom fabric on chairs is absolutely gorgeous and well constructed. I bought the Emerson Chairs. I also bought a leather ottoman and two Demilune chests. All were delivered when promised. The store designer worked seamlessly with my designer. I am very pleased with Ethan Allen. Stylish, Classic and of high quality.

What kind of BS is going on with this location (Skokie)? The sign says their hours are 10 - 5. I got there at 10:20 AM and the doors are locked. There is a doorbell, so I rang, and rang and rang. No one comes to the door. There are cars in the lot (4 today), so someone has to be in the store, but nope, nada. I left to run other errands and returned a bit after 11:30. Doors still locked, so I rang again. This time someone lets me in and when I asked whats going on, I get some mumble jumble about staff levels, Covid, yada, yada, yada. Horrible way to do business. I decided to take my business elsewhere if this is the type of service they provide. Very disappointed.

I have been decorating my home with Ethan Allen furnishings for over 25 years and with my favorite designer, Sue Sellers. I love their unique pieces but my favorite is their custom artwork. We have done several custom pieces as I like to pick the size of the artwork and frame. I cant tell you how many times Ive told Sue every room is done but I find something else I want. Their delivery times are longer than stock furniture stores but their products are worth the wait.

Friendly service associate, easy ordering and quick delivery, but my item went on sale before it was delivered to my home. When I called to inquire about a price adjustment, since the item wasnt even in my home yet, I was told by my sales person that corporate does not do that. Poor customer service policy, in my opinion! Most companies Ive dealt with have always honored price adjustments if items drops in price within a short period of purchase and/or delivery. Will purchase furniture in the future from a store that has more reasonable policies. Do love my pieces though.Since this post got a nice email from owner. My opinion has changed! Ive learned from now on to always ck policy on price adjustments. 😊😊😊

I cant remember the name of the interior decorator i met, but she was wonderful. This store didnt have what I was looking for, but I will visit them again when and if I need something in future. Style of furniture slightly more traditional than I prefer, but they still had some things that I liked.

Love my new sofa and love seat. The help I received from the professional interior designer was key to the correct fabric for my furniture and for my home!

After being a loyal customer for over 13 years, I will never do business with Ethan Allen again and I would encourage you not to either. I mistakenly bought a furniture protection plan through Ethan Allen who contracts to Guardsman (wish I had googled Guardsman first! The reviews are horrible) and it’s been a nightmare ever since. I have $4000 of useless furniture and the store Manager, Karen, is completely incompetent. To say she has no clue what she is doing or what customer service is is an understatement. I wish I had listened to all of my friends who asked why I shopped there in the first place. It’s a total ripoff. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the many other furniture stores in the area who prioritize customer service and repeat clients over commissions to outside contractors.

Terrible! We were supposed to get our order in 3 months and now we are told we are not getting it until June. Thats half a year to receive our order!
