Was looking for table lamp shades and went to many stores and searched in the internet, liked Pottery Barns collection of simple clean designs and S M L diameters. So went to the store, when I saw them in real merchandise, like them even better. Sometimes I liked in pictures in the website, but disappointed when saw it in real. The store I went did not have tapered design so ordered for delivery from other store.

This is how you do it! A stellar furniture shopping experience at Old Orchard Mall Pottery Barn. Starting with phone guidance from Ricky and ending with the expert styling advice of Andrea, our hunt for a new bedroom set couldnt have had more help. I highly recommend this specific Pottery Barn location. Two levels of display space and friendly, knowledgeable employees. Sanitation stations are strategically located throughout the store along with traffic flow directional signage. 5 star experience.

I love Pottery Barn but this store is awful!! Worst Customer Service! I was looking to purchase a $1300 couch and the lady couldnt bother to even show me fabrics or different options and when I talked to her what I wanted she would flat out ignored me. On top of it, I tried returning an Item that had a receipt and tags however since it wasnt within 30 days I was gonna get store credit which I was fine with and they told me no for some reason and I later found out they went against there store Policy and I called the other Pottery Barn in Chicago and they said theyd be more than happy too return it for me. When I called back the PB old orchard to ask why the manager got nasty on the phone with me.

We had a very positive experience working with Ricky at this location. We were buying a new couch, and he went above and beyond with helping us find the right configuration (we built a sectional), color and material.We communicated with us seamlessly viEmail and provided specs and references for any questions we had. He also helped us make sure we were getting the best deal on our purchase (reminders of current and upcoming sales).

Bad customer service! We bought a floor model lamp. They did not wrap it at all. We went to the pick up area, but no one helped us put it in the car. Love the lamp I bought, but this PB sucks!!

Like many unhappy customers we all wish we could give a zero star review. But unfortunately google doesnt have that feature.Overall we have had a terrible experience with Pottery Barn. They have now failed to deliver our item correctly twice after missing the promised delivery dates multiple times.We ordered a Bed, 3 Sofas, a Mattress and a Boxspring Set from them over a few month period. We received two of the Sofas at one time with no issues. The third sofa had an issue so a piece of it had to be remade and it did take some extra time(~ 3 months) for it to deliver.The mattress that was ordered October 19th with an estimated delivery date of October 28th through November 11th is where we have had major problems. When the furniture delivered to us we received one King size box spring and one California King box spring(we needed two California King size units). We also received the California king size mattress at the same time. At the time we spoke with the store and were told by them to reject both of the box springs and that they would place an order for the replacements. The ETA was to be early December. After many phone calls into the store that were answered by employees with promises of return calls that did not happen (my wife called 3 to 4 times a week for a few weeks), we went to the store to try and get confirmation of a delivery date and confirm that when they did eventually deliver the proper size box springs they would deliver 2 box springs(as that is how they come). We were assured that this would happen by both Meredith and Paula. After two additional months of waiting the box spring (singular) delivered today. Yes one single box spring which fits only half of the bed. Now again after calls into Pottery Barn we are told that the box spring will be another 3 to 4 weeks. At this point I have asked that they come and pickup the nearly $20,000 worth of furniture we have purchased. It astounds me that they are unable to speed up our delivery. We have already been billed and paid for items that we do either not own and/or we have not been able to use for 4 months. It is my hope that they will come pickup all of the furniture and we can take our business to another store who is able to delivery on time and return a phone call.The true issue lies with their ability to communicate. It should not be the customers responsibility to call into the store 4 times a week because associates and managers are not able to return phone calls.

We had nice experience and good customer service at this shop! Nice store. Great selection and good quality furniture. Their prices are also not high. I would recommend doing business with them.

I hate writing bad reviews, but for this particular store I have to. I came to the store looking for blankets since I saw online they have 20% sale on the ones that I really liked. Long story short, There is a tall, white, Long blond hair lady that works there, who is super rude, snobby and unprofessional. PB, your employees need to be better trained in CS area in prefer for me to spend my money. Please learn from Room and Board !

Terrible customer service. Every time I go in there the employees are totally un-interested in helping me and many of them are downright rude. Im not the type to want a sales person following me around chatting, but this is the other extreme. They act like theyre doing me a favor by scowling at me.

The item was left at my door and is too heavy to move to the room where it belongs. No assistance option is offered with the purchase so I am either have to going to hire someone to move this, or wait until family members can help. That is not the level of service that I expect or deserve.In addition to this problem, the packing is an environmental nightmare.You have lost a customer.
