Valerie made my car buying experience a breeze. Her friendly and positive attitude was appreciated and welcoming. The entire process was enjoyable and easy. I felt like a valued customer and I could tell that both Valerie and Tyler wanted to not only sell me the vehicle I wanted but with the best possible deal as well. I felt like they were truly working for me. I already had a loan approved from my bank and Tyler was able to get me approved at a lower interest rate than the great rate I already had. Every person that I encountered during my experience was friendly. When I went into the financing office Dustin took care of me professionally and quickly. He was thorough and ensured I understood everything. Bottom line Deacon Jones has an all star team and I would recommend anyone to go and check them out and give them a shot.

I am a customer of Deacon Jones Chevrolet. I’ve bought 2 brand new Z71 Suburbans from them, 2 Duramax diesel crew cab LT 4x4 3/4 tons and my dad came from Florida to buy two new Colorado 4x4. The Service Department has let me down several times. The most recent was when I needed a written estimate to replace the battery cable in my fully restored 1995 Impala SS. I needed it for a pending small court claim trial I had against Auto FX and customs on highway 42 Clayton Garner. That guy is a pathological liar that cut my battery cable with a box cutter. I called Deacon Jones once and was promised they could email me the estimate. It never came. The same day I left a message for that service advisor. I never heard back. The following week I called the service manager about 10 minutes after business hours opened. I left a message and it’s been over a week and he hasn’t returned my call. I finally got one young lady in service that was willing and able to help me. She told me they didn’t have the capability to send any type of formal estimate. She was able to send a generic email. That was better than nothing. Those really aren’t kind words. 4 out of 5 stars is 80% and that’s C average. I’d strive for better personally.

Just got a text offering to receive automated texts from Deacon Jones. I declined. Nick from Deacon Jones proceeds to call me right after this trying to sell me a car. Again, I say no thanks and hang up. He proceeds to calling back and leaving a voicemail again trying to sell a car. With these tactics, you can be assured I will never buy a vehicle here.

Dealer took a deposit for an Escalade that was for sale online, and salesman was very unprofessional. He told me 30 min before they closed on a Saturday, when I had a flight booked Tuesday to pickup the vehicle, that it was no longer for sale. Don’t waste your time or money.

Called today to talk with someone concerning 2020 Chevrolet only had for 8 months. Vehicle will not run, sounds as if something is locked up. Was told I would have to pay for having it towed to the dealer. NO, still under warranty. Was transferred to 2 more different lines. NO HELP. Finally hung up and called another Chevy dealer. Could not believe the difference in service. So very disappointed in your service.

Sales is great but service leaves something to be desired. The salesman George is outstanding. Ive taken my car there several times and each time they didnt find anything. Until I had to show them what was wrong. Owning the car for 5 months we have had it for about half that. Im working with Cadillac now to get it resolved. Hopefully service will fix it soon.

Typically pretty good service. Plan to wait for a while if u are waiting at the dealership. I have been getting my vehicles serviced here for years and will continue to do so. I trust them a lot more than pep boys or jiffy lube. I don’t have much experience with sales, but as for service I would definitely recommend them.

This place knows nothing about customer service. A lady a the podium wasn’t even greeting people. And all I needed to know where to drop my keys off. I saw a guy sitting down and I asked hi I just need to know where to drop my keys off. And he didn’t even let me finish my sentence he rudely cut me off and said there will be someone right with you. Never will I bring another car here.

Most impressed. Competitive pricing, courteous, low pressured salesman, extremely knowledgeable. all staff were helpful . Even after the deal was done, the staff went out of there way to explain the vehicle, service dept., etc. I never had an intention on purchasing today, but ended up buying it & driving out in less than 2-1/2 hours complete.

I had a check engine light come on/off yesterday and I scheduled a service for my Tahoe today. I spoke with a supervisor over the phone and he told me I could bring my truck in and they would pull up check engine light codes stored on the computer and let me know what’s wrong and make a plan of action. I was very happy that they were willing to help. I brought the truck in and was helped by The consultant Aaron. And he was very rude and very unprofessional. He very rudely said that who I talked to on the phone was wrong. He ended up checking the codes very quickly and told me what it was, before I could even write it down he deleted the codes and gave me a quick explanation of what it was. I was shocked the he deleted the codes that I don’t even remember which it was and since it’s deleted I can’t take my truck anywhere else. He quickly said he had another customer he needed to help and walked back inside to an empty office. This is terrible service and was shocked at my experience. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

$147 just to diagnose a check engine light? Why dont you beat me up and steal my lunch money while youre at it? Also, the repair would have cost nearly $400 for a hood latch sensor... Why is that even necessary? So, I spent $147 and my check engine light is still on. I will never buy another Chevy.

Aaron Hodges gave me one of the best experiences at a dealership I’ve ever had he doesn’t talk to you like a customer he talks to you like you’re his best friend I took my C7 Corvette Z06 in for a transmission flush that I recently bought and he told me that the fluid had been changed within the last 5000 miles it would’ve been so easy for him to take advantage of me and I still would’ve been happy with the service because I would never have known but he went the extra mile to make sure that I was treated honestly and fairly. I’ve seen a couple of negative reviews on this website but before you take your business elsewhere please make sure you get in touch with Aaron and I promise you will be satisfied. Wish I could give 0 stars. I hardly ever write reviews. We would never buy another vehicle from this dealership even if it were the last dealership on earth. It started out shady and I should have known they were going to do some jacked up stuff. We saw the truck online and it had a price, didnt think to take a screenshot so when we got there and told them which vehicle we were interested in someone had taken the price off the web. HOW DECEITFUL?! Strike one. We continued with it and took it for a test drive and everything was good with the truck it was a few things that we noticed. The manual was missing, the two front carpeted mats were missing, the tail hitch cover was broken, and the console was popped out of place. Salesman told us those things would be taken care of and we felt comfortable about moving forward with the deal until we got back and sat down to talk numbers. He brought a paper with the MSRP that had a discount. We told him that we were not paying that and did a counter offer and he said that he would be right back. He brought back another paper (didnt bring back the first paper) and the discounts was increased but so was the MSRP. HOW DECEITFUL?! I pointed out that it was not the same number but rather it had increased and he assured us that it hadnt. I asked for the previous paper and he said it was discarded and we basically demanded to see the other paper and he told us to hang on and went and got the other paper. We showed him exactly what was done and he tried to act like it came out the same. I guess he thought we were dumb and couldnt read. That was strike two...after going back and forth we came up with a comfortable price for us and moved over to the finance department. He then told us that we would have to pay for a second key ($300-400) and the one key that it did come with was a spare key. Umm we were purchasing a Cadillac, why would it not come with two keys?! Went back and forth for a while about that and were getting ready to just forget the whole deal and the manager Bruce came in and told us that he would get us the key. No biggie, we finalized the deal and bc it was raining they told us to come back on Sat and they would clean it and take care of the other stuff. We dropped the truck off on Sat early and they said it would be about two hours so we got a loaner. We went back and they had not even started on it yet. We had an engagement to get to at 3 so we were really pressed for time. When they finally got the truck ready around 3:30 the ONLY thing they had done was wash the truck and pop the console back into place. No lie! We did get the new key as well and the salesman told us the manual was in the console. I opened the console and part of the manual was there...about 1,000 pages printed with a rubber band wrapped around it. See image. STRIKE 3, my husband went off. He went back and forth with the salesman and told him that we didnt have to buy the vehicle (who says that to a customer?!) and my husband told him that if we were white they would have treated us better. I completely agree. So when my husband told him that he walked off and said he was done and he sent Bruce out. Bruce came out and he and my husband were going back and forth and I got out and tried to calm things. I talked to Bruce and told him that this was our first serious car purchase and that we just wanted everything to be how it should be. He agreed with me and told me he would take care of everything and that the things (hitch cover, a REAL manual, and mats) would be mailed. Got the package in the mail several weeks later and no mats. Called for about a month, left messages, and Bruce wouldnt take my calls or return them. I went there and he was so nice and told me he was ordering the mats that day. HE LIED! Almost another month and no mats. This dealership doesnt care about true customer service and after the deal was done most definitely did not care because they only care about making money. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! WE WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN OR RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO THEM PERIOD.

It seems only a handful of their employees know the meaning of customer service....beginning with a simple Greeting. During my unexpected 3hr wait, only a couple of employees actually spoke(..hello, how are you?, have you been helped,)...guess theyve gotten too comfortable and forget to speak., even had a conversation with a sales associate who actually said that a couple of sales associates needed to brush up on speaking to people. I even had one sales associate walk by, as i stood outside, and never said a word, maybe it was because he was too focused on his breakfast from Sonic?? Well, at least the service advisor who helped me needs a raise, because she was professional and solved most of the issues i was there for.....maybe a couple of salespeople need to spend time with her to learn what customer service means!!

Bought a 2018 Colorado from another dealer and started noticing a slight shudder in transmission. I had heard great things about Deacon Jones service department. So I called them up and set an appointment. They DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!! Aaron Hodges (GM service engineer) met with me and even though I didn’t buy the truck from them, (which by the way I LOVE THE TRUCK, would recommend to anyone looking a midsized truck 2018 Colorado redline 4x4) they treated me just like I had been a customer of their dealer for years! Mr Hodges immediately jumped into action and took care of the issue. He didn’t try to say it was an issue that was out of their hands, or that they couldn’t help without me paying. He said we think we know what the issue is and it will be covered!! Thank you for your help and service!! I get my oil changed and my tires rotated every 4 months or so. The service advisors are always greeting me with smiles, and I appreciate that so much. They get me in and out as quickly as possible, and if they cannot do it quickly they tell me what the wait time will be and offer an appointment in case I do not have the time to wait or in case I do not want to wait that day.

I explained to him what I was looking for but I honestly didn’t think at the time there was any chance I could get what I wanted in my price range. Within 10 minutes he had pulled my dream car around to the front. I was in disbelief! Gorgeous car with EVERYTHING I wanted and MORE! Cody Thompson is awesome. He knew the car inside and out. Showed me all the features and I could not be happier. This is the best experience buying a car that I have ever had. No other dealership has ever come close to this one. So I went in to Deacon Jones Chevrolet today because they actually contacted me about wanting to purchase my truck. Right away of course Im thinking Oh boy, here comes the super low ball offer, this is going to be a short conversation. I know a little bit about vehicles and try to come up with fair prices when I sell them. So you can imagine my surprise when the GM, Jonathan Johnson, said he would pay my full asking price. Being the skeptic that I am I figured this was a another car salesman ploy to get me in the door then change the offer. Wrong again. I drove out to Deacon Jones today with my truck and met with Jonathan. We took about 5 minutes to look over the truck, another 10 minutes to complete some paperwork, and before i knew it I was walking out the door with a check in my hand. What? When have you ever walked out of a dealer with a check in your hand? It was a first for me. So to say my experience today was a pleasant one would be an understatement. The dealership was clean, the staff were pleasant and professional, and the process was, dare I say, easy? Yup I said it and never thought I would. Integrity for me is a trait that is of utmost importance. A bit of faith in car dealers was restored today because of the integrity I saw at this one. Good job and keep up the good work.

I tried and tried to get an out the door price on a vehicle (I live over 350 miles away and was willing to go get it) and after over 5 days guess what?! I STILL never got a price. I guess selling vehicles is not top priority at this car dealership. I was able to get quick answers from other dealerships. I moved on but thought I better do a favor for the next person trying to get a simple answer. What an awful experience.

Everyone here is really friendly each time I come here. The only issue I have is with the service department. I have brought my vehicle here for 2 oils changes and the technicians failed to find that my car had a coolant leak and an oil leak. I had to take my car to another local repair shop to have the issue fixed. The other Chevrolet dealerships I have been to seemed to take more care of the serviced vehicles compared to this dealership.

I have waited 2 years before posting this review. I saw an ad on TV from Deacon Jones about how they were committed to excellence. But I have to tell you my experience is far from excellent.I have a 2008 Equinox that has paint pealing. I did a Google search and found dozens of people with the same problem with their 2008 Equinox. So, I decided to take my car back to the dealership where I purchased it. This was back in 2014.Now, I know that the paint warranty is only one year, but I wanted to see if there was anything they could do to help. The response I got will blow you away.I asked to speak with the service manager. He came out and looked at the paint and here is what he said. He said that it looked like my car had been repainted. I assured him that it had not been repainted. He then went to say that maybe my wife had taken my car, had an accident, and had it fixed without me knowing.Thats the one that sent me over the edge. We damn near came to blows over that statement. He then offered to repaint the car at their cost. So, I went to their paint shop. They put together a quote and said that the service manager would follow up with me. Well, he never did.To say that Im disappointed in their service is an understatement. Especially since I purchased my vehicle from them. They have now turned me off to GM vehicles and Ive been a life long GM owner.

They keep telling me that they sent my information to the dealer and when they become available they will call me. They must be really busy because no matter how many times I request it I never get a call. Great way to drive away customers and get them to flock to another dealership.I have requested it so many times that they blocked my number and still nobody has called me.All I can say is WOW!!!!!Neil I called you and left a message for you to call me back and guess what. The service department was outstanding. Really customer centered, not all about the money like some places. Helped a weary traveler with some minor diagnostics without charging an arm and a leg. They understand the spirit of helping people in need.

Visited the service department to have my truck fixed. Service was fast and service department staff were very friendly. The waiting area was clean, provided coffee and had a separate/enclosed waiting area for kids! This was a bonus as I had a small and impatient toddler with me. He was able to play and make all the noise he wanted without disturbing the other guests. My quote for repairs changed 3x during my visit, which I did not appreciate, however the staff kept me updated throughout my wait on the status of my truck.

This company doesnt really care about their customers or employees at all. The employee turnover rate is very high. So high that it affects a customers experience and the service they receive. They used to have a good name before the family patriarch passed away in 2010, but now are only a shell of their former selves. Shop around and youll find a better deal elsewhere. Youll be glad you did.

Took my almost new vehicle in to have the windshield wiper fluid pump replaced. That was done and seems to be fine. The reason for the lower rating was because the Service Department refused to remove the dealership badging from the back of the vehicle. Jaime, who helped me was very nice and I dont think it was her decision, but not happy about the outcome.

I read the service reviews for Deacon Jones, Sir Walter and Capital Chevrolet... obviously there are good and bad; I was nervous at first about bringing my leased vehicle that I bought elsewhere in to a place where I did not buy...JESSIE was courteous and set me at ease when she explained what the service would cover and promised that I would be on the road at the right time so as not to be late for work.Their service area is unique in the fact that you drive INTO an enclosed drive-through, the service advisor offices are clean and everyone made sure that I was talked to while I waited for Jessie to finish up with her other customer. The lounge is spacious and can accomodate the normal sitting area, theres a section for people who need to work their laptops, theres bar tables, and theres a multi-charging station.I was very impressed and told Jessie about what Id seen online, and that they offered exemplary service. Definitely will go back.

The people that work at Deacon Jones are friendly, very nice people. But the used car I bought in the fall of 2016 had problems within 6 months of purchase. I have spent over $1500 on just repair work. I did purchase the expensive warranty insurance and, of course, this did not fall under the warranty. You would think a 2012 Chevrolet would not have problems like this. It has hit me hard financially and I will not tell anyone to go see Deacon Jones about a car. I know its buyer beware and I will not make this mistake again.

Purchased a 2017 GMC Terrain. They seemed very interested in pleasing us while we negotiated the deal. However, after the deal is done, they arent as enthusiastic to keep up with their end of the bargain.

Experienced trouble on 95.. heading from Florida to NY. Called in advance and they took us in almost immediately. Diagnosed problem and were completely honest with us. After working on vehicle for 3hrs, gave us the options. Did not charge us for their efforts. All the staff were friendly and very helpful.

Went there to purchase a new Silverado. Guys were easily $8000-10000 more than everywhere else. A few dealers were hitting me with $560-580 payments. There’s were $736. I would advise doing your research and considering other dealers.

The place is nice and upscale, Have all the cars to chose from. Went there on 11/28/17 for an interview. The people there lack the follow up and are very good at shuck and jiving.If I was treated like this for an interview guess how it would be if you was to buy a car from them.
