Great prices for quality furniture. We paid an arm and a leg for some pieces at Whitleys in zebulon and then found the same pieces at Heavners for MUCH less. We ended up canceling some of our orders from other furniture shops because of this. The delivery is also pretty fast.They might not have everything you want, but they have a lot of good options for great prices.

If you have any issues with your furniture you are basically screwed because the owner could care less.He’s a despicable person would not even talk to me after I made a second trip 20 miles back to the store due to my delivery of a chair being damaged.This was the worst experience I ever had at a place of business.

Came into the store looking for a bedroom set for my daughter. I was just window shopping so i did not much evaluate prices. Customer service was great. Met Mrs. Givens a sale associate that assisted me on this visit. She was kind and helpful and her hospitality was greatly appreciated. The place is large however the way the merchandise is displayed is very confusing and it looks messy. There is no consistency, as they have beds in pretty much every showroom. I think they have a little way to go to make it more appealing and customer friendly. The amount of pieces on display makes it really difficult for people to navigate the area and that is an important aspect of shopping. I was satisfied with the visit. Will probably not get anything from this place for if I going to pay premium price for furniture, my expectations are a little more rigorous and this place is not quite there yet.

Went to purchase a bed .was told to put a certain amount down was called back and was told to put half down still dont know why? Went to another store credit check was good.

We just moved into the area. While we were at the store last week, my sales person was a nice guy named Oscar. He was very helpful and did not hover over us and harass us as we browsed the store.I must say, this furniture store is rather large and warehouse is even bigger. They have a huge selection. I have no complaints other than having to go between 3 different places at the same location to get everything we purchased loaded into our enclosed trailer.We ended up purchasing a power leather sofa, loveseat, two recliners, two entire bedroom sets, mattresses and box springs, and even a dining set (which we got delivered 3 days ago, they do not offer same day delivery, it will take at least 4-5 days usually). They are holding up great and everyone loves what we bought.The two guys that loaded my items we very nice and helpful. I later asked Oscar what their names were, Derik (not sure of spelling) and Danny. Not sure how they work so hard in the heat. They took the time to rearrange items we already had on the trailer too, while it was 94 degrees just so we could get everything. All around I give this store 5 stars. The multiple pickup locations I can overlook. I will be going back in a few months to get outdoor pieces once our patio and pool is finished.

You walk in and smell plastic, thats because most of the furniture is made from plastic. If theres any wood, its particle board. Go to Ikea, it will probably cost less and the quality of plastic, wood and particle board will be better.

After disappointment and disrespect at Rooms To Go, I purchased sleigh bed and mattress set here for less than $800. In and out with purchases in 15 minutes. Go early bevause their awesome prices will have them swamped mid-afternoon thru the evening.

They have a good selection of affordable furniture. Because it is close outs and special buys, the inventory changes ofyen. They also have a selection of scratch and dent items to choose from. They do not have high end furniture. This isnt a good fit if you are looking for heirloom pieces or exotics. But, if you are looking for lower cost furniture that is still nice, this is a good choice. They also finance and typically they have a sale for 0%.

Large selection to browse through. I like that the sales people let you roam around without hassling you. Some items seem slightly over priced, but for the most part you can get a good price on your furniture finds.

Me n my better half recently purchased a home and purchased over 4,000 or more In furniture from here within a 3 week time frame. The dining room set that I purchased has a defect in the wood. So when u eat on the table it leaves little dots on the wood. I was in the store 1 week after delivery looking at a living room set n seen my sales guy Mark whom I always work with and I mentioned to him what was going on with my table and he let me know that I should eat on a place mat! I asked for the manager and Dan Heavner came out and spoke with me and told me to email him the pics of the table. I did and now it’s 2 weeks later no one has called or follow-up with me. Oh I forgot to mentioned that there are no refunds and no one ever offered us any insurance on anything we purchased from there. I love my table and did not want to return it I wanted to know if I was supposed to use a special cleaner on it. When u pay 2000 for something u shouldn’t have to use a place mat or anything else. If there was some special directions for eating on the table that should have been said during the sales pitch or at time of purchase. Due to the manner in which they choose to handle me I will not be purchasing anything else! I hope u enjoyed the commission Mark!

My wife and I recently purchased a leather sectional couch from their Smithfield location and were impressed with the entire process from end-to-end. Our sales person was friendly and knowledgeable, but what really impressed us beyond the quality of the furniture, was the delivery people - Matt and Emmanuel - to put it simply, they were wonderful! From the moment they arrived (on time, as well), they were very professional and friendly and seemed to genuinely care about leaving us with a great impression of Heavners. They took their time to understand where we wanted the couch set up, and even though we were their last delivery of the day, they treated us like we were their only customer - carefully moving each piece during delivery and setup - treating it as if it was their own. Matt took special care to inspect each piece before bringing it into the house and was the first to spot a broken leg on the back of the couch. I wasnt upset - I know stuff happens, and he took the time to make a temporary solution so we could use the couch immediately and assured me that he would make sure the right folks knew about the problem and would order a replacement.Today, Matt showed up at my house. He said he noticed the replacement leg in an envelope at Heavners addressed to me, but that it wasnt going to be mailed to me, so he wanted to bring it over and install it himself. Who provides that level of care/service? Apparently Matt does! While installing, he noted that the replacement isnt the correct part (its too tall) and that he was informed that the couch is no longer going to be in their inventory (thus, no correct leg will be available), so hes going to work on cutting the leg to size to make it fit and will come back in the next day or two to install it. While Id rather have the OEM leg of course (and if you can somehow get that, thatd be great), I still have to say I am just blown away by his level of service and caring for the customer. Hes going the extra mile to make sure we are happy, even though he cant get the right part. That means a lot. In talking to Matt, I understand hes been with Heavners for a long time and I can understand why - he does his job to a level of service Ive rarely encountered before.Based upon our experience starting from walking into the showroom, the quality of the furniture, and all the way up until the point of delivery (and especially the delivery people!), Heavners will always be our first stop for anything we need.

Purchased dinette set in September 2020 the first day table had small Nick which removes top layer off table over the course of a month there are other areas that are doing the same. Cant really use it to eat at any type of silverware dishes etc causes nicks. Disappointed in quality of set. Customer service was excellent, store has large inventory and some unique peices so I gave 3 star. No return policy so we are stuck will not be shopping there anymore.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would! I was told I could add furniture to a preexisting account. Unbeknown to me, signing for the purchase was me signing a BLANK contract. Weeks later they decided I could not add to my original account (because the special stopped), so another was made with over 14% interest without my knowledge. As I learned, everyone who purchases furniture signs a blank contract. After reading through the reviews, I see contracts are an issue with them. I will definitely be reaching out to the attorney general. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I should have posted a few weeks ago... but...we purchased a leather sofa and love seat last May 2020. After getting it delivered immediately we noticed it just did not sit right. Felt like it was sagging and just not right. We went in and spoke to Mr. Heavener who said he would not have more of that sofa until January. To be honest, I had no idea if they would remember. I was sure we were stuck with a sagging expensive leather sofa. On Jan 8th(ish) I got a call from Dot, who asked us to come in and sit on a new sofa (same model) that came in. She wanted to be sure it felt different and right. It was soooo different. Much more supportive and no sagging. 2 weeks later it was delivered to our home. And they swapped out the old one.Heaveners really took care of us... even though we notified them after a couple months. They are great people and have great selection of good quality furniture! Thank you Mr. Heavener!

Bought a heavy desk from them & told them I didn’t want the floor model because I thought the legs were wobbly. They said I would be getting a new one. They deliver it to my home assembled telling me they assembled it prior to delivery. A week or so later it collapsed. I called and spoke to the owner whom came to my house to take pictures & told us there was nothing he would do . I told him I would take him to small claims court & he said go ahead as he was leaving. They lie & don’t hold true to their warranty

Listen .... I love this store... I buy all of my furniture from this store (my mom and my sister also). They have excellent samples, brands, designs and brand names. Just ask for Ms. Janice, she is a doll and an excellent saleswoman. She does what she needs to do to get you your furniture at the right price, date and time.

Great selection, but unwilling retain my business when Mattress Firm of Smithfield made appreciated strides to keep mine. Found a comparable mattress and was offered free delivery, without the excuse that Princeton was too far from Smithfield and a free frame. The take it or leave it approach doesnt work for me or my hard earned money; Ill go where its appreciated next time.

Good furniture deals.

We bought a Homestretch reclining sofa and loveseat 1 year ago and now the cushions have went flat. Its like sitting on thin padded wood. Its hard and hurts our hips. We paid over $3000.00 for these and now we cant sit on them. Heavner refused to replace them. They said it was normal wear, bull. I will never buy anything from them again. All they sell is junk furniture. I would go somewhere else to get furniture and avoid them at all costs.

They were helpful and not pushy. John let us wander and just checked on us periodically, which was the perfect combo so he wasnt hovering, but we werent ignored. Also, such an awesome selection with terrific prices!!

I have been there twice and both times have walked out with more than what I intended to buy and without going over my budget. The sales people are awesome! They do not pressure you into buying anything and are very helpful. They are willing to answer any questions. The delivery people are very friendly and do an efficient job while making sure nothing is dinged or dented. They have also been patient while I decide if a piece would look better three inches to the left or not. I have found pieces there that I absolutely love and couldnt find anything like them anywhere else. Ive also bought pieces that were at least 1/3 cheaper than the exact same pieces I saw in Raleigh and Zebulon stores. It is a really good store.

This was a great spot to score some quality furniture. Picked up a coffee table and a display case. Furniture is all high quality and it was at a very fair price. Gave it four out of five because the loading guys arent much help.

Will not negotiate a lower price but we bought a small glass front cabinet. Warehouse store in Smithfield Hwy 70 is clean and has nice, clean carpeting on the floor. Impressive for such a large store.

Sandra gave us one of her business cards asked if we needed anything in f not she would leave us alone and let us browse. I loved that she did not pressure us or walk with us and try to make suggestions. They did not have what we were looking for at this one in Smithfield so I am going to visit the one in Raleigh.

If you wanted a good deal on furniture, week after labour day sale was still a good time to get a great deal.

Heavner Furniture (Smithfield) claims to have over 100,000 items - ALL IN STOCK! Simply not the case.We located multiple bedroom sets - 3 werent in stock. When we finally selected a bedroom set, we were assured twice that it was in stock. So, we paid for everything up front (+ Delivery Fee). The next day, we received a call stating the product wasnt in inventory. I received multiple excuses by the Salesman & the Manager. The Manager was clueless! He gave me 2 stories why the furniture wasnt available.I asked when the product would be available I was told WE DONT KNOW. So, I called Raleigh and they informed me they could have it available in 6 weeks. SERIOUSLY?They have good prices; however, the savings wasnt worth the headache - not to mention explaining to a child why they wouldnt be receiving the bedroom set that they CLAIMED was in stock.Fortunately, we located another furniture store in Raleigh (Atlantic Bedding & Furniture) that offered us a far superior deal.Definitely WONT be returning to Heavner Furniture nor would I recommend them to any one else.

Every time we visit this place theres something new to see. Sometimes we pop by just to give ourselves something to do. Im afraid I cant say their prices seem a whole lot lower here than at several other furniture places, but hey, furniture is expensive, right?

I have been buying furniture from the Glenwood and Smithfield location for over 10 years. Have spent over $5000 with this company. Came to get a new couch today which was priced at $539 a couple weeks prior. Today was $599. They wouldn’t honor the lower price due that being a “sale”. Just lost a repeat customer over $60. Refuse to do anymore business with a place that is willing to lose a repeat customer over something as petty as this. My business will go elsewhere from here on out! Sales lady Janice was great, but the manager was rude and didn’t seem to care about retaining my business!

Out of all the business I have done with this store I regret to have to post this. Lisa was very helpful staff and the furniture was of great quality. However, due to a resent incident on my part where I miss one payment but have been over paying since I had my account in 2014. I was threatened to be put in Jail and the Sherriff sent to my house. I was told that I would be listed as a felon and it would be on my record forever. However, my account wasnt past due since I have been overpaying it. I have automatic checking and the check was sent on time but by mistake. However, thank you Lisa for being such a help in trying to resolving my issue. But after being threatened to be put in jail and the sheriff called I must take my business elsewhere. I hope all the people that I recommended do not run into this issue. If you do I apologize so stay up on your payments.

I just wanted to say thank you to Mr. Heavner. I had a problem with a piece of furniture that I purchased 3 years ago. It literally started to fall apart from normal wear and tear. I contacted Mr. Heavner and he made sure that the complete mechanism of the piece was sent directly to my home and within 30 minutes of me receiving the parts my chair is like new. Absolutely disgusted. Owner is a jerk. Cheap quality furniture! But dont worry u can just throw it away if it messes up because they sure wont replace or offer help. Even though we paid EXTRA for if anything happens. They talk u into it but doesnt thoroughly explain it until uve already signed the dotted line. Will never be shopping here again. Had our furniture 1 month and it was already tearing in SEVERAL places . GOOD LUCK to all u future purchases.

Came in looking for a specific type of furniture with family, when approached she mistaken us for someone who called her. When we told her no, she basically just left us. After we walked a bit more around the store, another employee spotted us looking around but didn’t try to approach us offering any kind of help. Once we decided to search somewhere else, the same employee who didn’t even try to approach made a comment about how “they’re already leaving.” Not even knowing we could hear him. Sad.

I had a great experience here and saved a lot of money. Taylor was awesome and stayed after closing to make sure we were taken care of and got what we wanted .

Found a couch that we really liked

Came looking to buy a couch today and only 1 person out of the 5 people working the floor acknowledged my husband and I. I even smiled at one of the sales ladies and she just stared at us walking by. One gentleman said hi and kept walking not even stopping to see if we needed help or to offer us his card in case we needed it at a later time. Found the perfect couch and was ready to purchase but the lack of customer service left such a sour taste in our mouths we left. Have bought several pieces from the Raleigh store and have enjoyed our transactions every time. Will not be coming back here, they acted like they could care less and it was extremely disappointing. Note, the store was dead. There were maybe 3 other customers walking around so them being busy was not the issue.

Horrible customer service! DO NOT pay the extra money for a warranty as they will NOT honor it! They continue to tell me to order replacement parts & to have my family fix it. They are too lazy to fix problems with their products that are covered under the warranty that I paid EXTRA money for.

The salesman said recliner was at the Raleigh store - so I drove to Raleigh -about 25 miles - they didnt have it - it was at the Smithfield location the whole time. Drove 30 miles home. Salesman called me and said we have it in the warehouse - I was driving back to Smithfield when salesman called again and said they accidentally sold it. Talked to manager Dan - he said too bad I am not going to offer a discount on another one if thats what you are after.

We went to buy the good furniture didnt even think I should chk around first, Terri was sweet however not well trained the main thing was the owner DAN is the most rude horrible disgusting person to deal with, be careful when you purchas anything from this place not honest and will charge you extra just to ripp people off eventhough they will sell you shity product.Please prove watch shol somewhere else before you go in there not worth your time, money or hassle.

I have been extremely dissappointed with Heavner in Smithfield N.C! Firstly, when they make an error there is no attempt to compensate that mistake at all! I had placed an order for a Hooker bed in Grey tufted upholstered velvet like fabric.The order was placed in October, so I was told it may take 8 weeks. I was fine with this so when I received a call that my bed was ready to be delivered, I was elated in Late November. So when delivery day arrived needless to say the wrong bed was delivered! It is now approaching February and still no bed, no compensation at all has been offer! I do not recommend this establishment to patronize!Theresa and Troy kirschner
