I live in Buckhead and I always make the “drive” to this location because it’s just such a better experience. Well honestly I love all Ulta’s and cannot with a clear conscience say a bad word towards any ULTA but this particular location is 10/10. Nicest staff ever and the manager Sara is on point. Sara, like I mean she knows her products. Also the store is always so nicely organized, like the lash area (cause I buy lots of lashes) is always spotless 10/10 go here to Cumberland you won’t regret it

Very helpful staff walking around making sure to answer any questions. Really big selection of different brands. I went for a First Aid Beauty treatment and was very pleased with their knowledge of the product & they were well priced. The sales associates werent pushy at all.

Horrible line despite the fact that they had 30 people in line there are people who actually sit around working there or not checking out. I actually put my items down and left. I will use her competitor instead.

The place is a dump. All the shelves are ransacked and in disarray. Many are sparsely filled. One of the employees told me they havent been receiving much inventory since the pandemic. However, that doesnt account for the absolute chaos among the inventory that is in stock. Items on the floor ... boxes open ... things laying on shelves instead of hanging on hooks. You cant possibly tell whats really there and what is out.And while I was there today, only a small handful of customers. Plenty of time to be straightening and organizing but none of that is planned. This has been the case every time I have been in this store. Not the case at other Ultas. Seems the management would take some pride in their store.

What you expect from Ulta great location wasn’t a lot of staff to help but they was trying to help us all out. Found all my makeup needs and great lipstick selections

This location is fine. I never usually ask where things are because a majority of the employees never know or say it is out of stock without even looking. They do have a good stock of items I use MOST of the time, and a FEW of the employees seem nice, but the rest just stand around and gossip like we dont hear them lol

If I could give this ulta a lower score I would. The customer service was horrible, the women working was on her personal cellphone talking to someone on speaker. I asked for her assistance and she was not knowledgeable about the products. I needed assistance to ensure the color matched my skin since the displays are covered for COVID and she was NOT helpful. While she was helping me the person on her cellphone was still on speaker. Also, she smelt of marijuana. WILL NOT SHOW HERE AGAIN

Great customer service! The ladies at the register were very friendly. Also my daughter and I purchased some great products for our skin thanks to Ms. Jamaica. This location is by Cumberland Mall. I usually go to Arbor Place Mall, dont get me wrong that location is great as well. The location by Cumberland is bigger with more selections.

No one ever spoke to me, asked if I needed help, and when I went to the register I waited 10 minutes and no one came to take my money. So I placed the merchandise on the counter and left.

ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. No one greeted. I walked past three employees and not a word. I’ve worked in retail and I get customers can be annoying and questions can be annoying but if your attitude is hard to hide- find another job! So annoyed when I left. Gross!!

The associate was very helpful. The item I was looking for turned out to be online only and he not only gave me options for delivery, he looked up other non-Ulta stores that also sold it and told me where to go for the best price.

Came in for the first time in a few years for my birthday yesterday. We didnt get in until right at closing time but all the interactions we had were helpful and done with a good attitude. The manager helped me pick a foundation shade and she NAILED IT (we cant try them right now bc of Covid). Then, Alyssa checked us out and she was awesome. Made my whole birthday. Her energy and attitude were great, even when my gift card wasnt working. Love this location! Wish it was closer to me!

Today I visited the salon to have my hair cut by Ruthie. She did an amazing job and knew just what to do with my thick, coarse, curly and unruly hair! When she was done I felt amazing and am 100% going to come back to visit her.

Ruthie is absolutely my favorite hair stylist! I only let her cut my hair. She nails it every time! I used to hate hair cuts so much I didnt get a hair cut for 11 years, now I go see Ruthie about every 2-3 months for a hair cut and I love it with no regrets!

Horrible customer service. Due to Covid-19, Ive been ordering online & picking up curbside when I shop. Received a text from Ulta yesterday stating I had until today before the store closed to pick up my items. Woke up this morning to a text saying my order was cancelled. Called the store & spoke to the Manager on duty. Long story short Im being forced to come in the store & pick up the item inside if I want it. Really??? I chose curb side pick up for a reason. Poor..poor...customer service for something that is their fault.

Ulta Beauty is a very nice place. I come here a lot as a local and the service is very nice. Though, the only issue is that it’s very pricey but that’s all cosmetic stores. I usually buy my Kylie lip kits and stuff from here. The stuff here also just had really good quality.

I’m trying to find Candace C she was a stylist at this Ulta location and has cut my hair many times but now is no longer with the company 😭 if anyone knows what salon she’s now working out of please let me know!

RUTHIE IS THE BEST! I trust her to do nearly anything to my hair. If you need a stylist who will give her all and treat your hair like it is her art/craft then CHOOSE RUTHIE! Ulta doesn’t realize what a gem they have with her in their salon. I hope she does my hair until I have none!

I give this Ulta Beauty store 4stars. This shopping experience wasnt for me, but my wife. I was just the official bag holder once again. But I was approached by a couple of employees that asked me if I needed any help with anything. They were friendly and wanted to make sure if I needed help dont hesitate to ask someone. I appreciated that. If this Ulta Beauty location keep up this kind of customer care, I dont see why they couldnt make it to a 5star rating... 👍

I like this location, easy access from any direction. Staff has always been helpful and sweet. Good group of people working here. They usually are not out of stock of popular items which happens constantly at some of the other locations around.

The only nice things I can say is that they have a good selection of products and the location is easy to get to. Once inside, I searched for a product after asking an associate, and she gave me attitude, rolling her eyes and flipping her hair. I am just a customer looking for a product. She was probably a nice person but did not have any sense of customer service. The product I selected was behind a placard that said the item was on sale. I made note of the price, then when I checked out, the price was 50% more. I asked the associate at the register, and he got the manager. Both of them went to look and the entire process took over 5 minutes. When the manager returned, she let me know the sale price was for a completely different product which was on a different Shelf. I expressed my disdain for there sale notifications, and she acting like I was the one at fault. Once she left, the associate at the register let me know that he completely understood and did not understand why they did that. I would say if you need any kind of products such as this, please dont waste your time by going to the store unless you are really in a bind and have to get it. The people seem to treat you like you are complete garbage. I was not satisfied in any way. The associate at the register was the only nice person who work there that I ran into.

Came in the store 3-10-20 no one was available to assist me then the lady with the Afro had no idea where the two face setting spray was located. She had the nerve to give me primer entire product I did not ask for. Then she says well we are out of it. I asked the guy at cash rep to do a product search still no luck. Will never return I will just take my business to Sephora. Hire associates that are knowledgeable immediately.

Hand sanitizer placed throughout the store for safe shopping as well as curbside pickup so you dont even have to go into the store if you dont want to.

Before the Smyrna Ga store closed for Covid-19. I was disappointed to find Ultas lipsticks and liners never stocked fully. And you could tell not much attention was paid to putting the liners and lipsticks in their correct places. For this particular Ulta store to be so nice the Ulta display doesn’t seem to get much attention by the personnel. I will continue frequenting this location only out of convenience. My home is one mile away.

I found a wig hair on my food

I couldn’t honestly not be any more disappointed and upset with the services I received. I scheduled an appointment for makeup service and to get my hair curled. The makeup artist was unable to do my makeup due to the precious appointment being 30 minutes late, I felt this should not have affected my appointment since I was on time. The girl who did my eyebrows was amazing and so sweet and willing to help out as she saw that my appointment was being held up. The girl that took over my makeup rushed it completely and I was so unhappy with how it came out. When it came to my hair I was trying to be optimistic that this would turn out better but it was even worse!!!! My curls were so tight and the braid that she put in didn’t even look like a braid. I couldn’t believe it was almost $100 for these services when they were so awful. I had an event that i was going to be late for if I didn’t leave ASAP so I paid and left. I will NEVER go back here again for any service, and would never recommend anyone else here either. Save your money! I could do my own hair/makeup better. The benefit brow employee was by far the best one I interacted with and grateful for her help out of this entire disaster. I wish I had pictures to show how awful it came because it was the most terrible hair/makeup I’ve ever had.

Avoid going to this location they are very unprofessional waited in line for 25 minutes while they took their precious time to scan customers... I had a birthday gift and a 10$ off coupon they only scanned the birthday gift and I told her to scan the coupon again bc I didn’t see it go through she insisted that it did. I looked at the recipe and noticed that it DID NOT GO THOROUGH Bc she DID NOT SCAN IT, Ulta employees PLEASE DO BETTER!!!

Personal greetings as you walk through the door makes you feel so welcome and comfortable as you shop. Merchandising is like a treasure trove. I have always found nothing but good things to use for smelling good and looking good in this store. Going to make it a weekly thing.

This place has many cosmetics that the department store has. I like the ultra fine tip eyebrow liner and their brand is more affordable. The staff is usually helpful if, they arent engaged in peer conversation and your standing by looking like a fool.

I spent over an hour there and the MUA, octavia, helped me pick not only the best foundation for me but a tone of other stuff. I enjoyed the experience. This was not my 1st time. The service has always be standard but today Octavia really made me feel beautiful again, thanks!

The customer service at this location has severely dropped. I came in looking for a companion primer and the girl was useless. She was not knowledgeable of which make brands are best for different skin types. I was left figuring things out on my own.the girl at the register was just as unbelievable and unenthusiastic. The staff knows nothing about the products. I asked for a certain hair curler and they paged the manager and still couldn’t find it. This happens almost every time I come here! Please educate your staff on the products on the shelves! I would love to talk about what exactly I’m looking for or even be recommended something better.

2nd time coming within a week time frame and those chicks are angry and need customer service training. 1 day could have been a bad day but no, both times. Cierra specifically. 2nd interaction was totally rude as the 1st. I called and had items held. Wanted to check and compare colors before purchasing and she was horrible. There is another woman with an african descent that tries 2 hide her rudeness but it just bleeds thru. I dont have to be friends with the associates but whats in your job description? I work as a claims adjuster ensuring children that need equipment to survive get what they need. I do it gracefully as well as gratefully. A very demanding job. My point is, if you cant sell beauty products that arent a requirement but should be a happy place for whoevers need or wants, then you need another job.

I only go because its close. They very rarely have their shelves stocked completely even on a regular shopping day. Like today, I was in there discouraged and had to drive to my go to, the Buckhead store (to me that store is smaller). There I was able to get everything and more.

The store has a wide variety of Beauty products/merchandise and they are on top of the requirements for the distancing and conducting temperatures for all customers. Personnel was very nice and helpful.

Nobody on the floor so I get the register and ask the young lady on the floor about a product. She flat out says they don’t have it and I say I’m pretty sure you do. She finally asks someone else and they say yes we have it. She makes me get out of line to get the product and get back in line to start my transaction all the way over which makes no sense. Her face scrunched up before I could even finish asking about the product, it was quite clear that the only thing she came in to do was check people out. Anything else she couldn’t be bothered with. I could’ve left without purchasing it but it was for a Christmas gift.

Went in to make drastic changes to my hair color. My consultation with Brenton was quick and to the point. When I went in to have it done, Brenton was fantastic. He does an awesome job with funky colors while being funny and professional. Overall just a great experience.

Dont even try their online service. I ordered some vitamins on April 7 and Im still waiting. Every time I call them, they say they are sorry and they put the order again and again. still waiting!!

I had a great hair salon experience with Keke. I went from blonde back to my natural color and had a cut as well. She did a great job and was great to talk to. The only thing I recommend is to confirm your appointment if you book online. The salon takes phone and online appointments and doesnt have a receptionist, so the stylists have to deal with scheduling on top of working with their clients. Sometimes, the online appointments dont go through, so just check and make sure.

Unsatisfied with the customer service from this location. During my busy day at work, I called them to ask if they had a specific style and width of straightener in order to avoid driving all the way there and then leaving empty handed. They told me they didn’t carry that size anymore....at all...because of remodeling? So I go online and see that they do in fact have the straightener in their location, go in to find it and 4 others sitting on the shelf. They woman who checked me out informed me that they will lie and not actually check inventory to avoid having to do anything. Needless to say I will not stray away from the Ulta on HWY 92 or Barrett Pkwy ever again!!!

Huge shout out to Ruthie at the Salon! When I moved to Georgia I had tried several salons and locations to upkeep my blonde hair. It was tragic.. Then I met Ruthie! Not only do we have a blast while shes doing my hair, but my results are AMAZING! Her talents are like a hidden gem at this location. Years of experience, great personality, and a skill level that never ceases to amaze me. I trust her completely with my hair, and would invite you to do the same!

I love ULTA. They seem to ALWAYS be out of something but it’s still a great cosmetic store with a large variety of great brands and products.

Ulta is a good store but their rewards program sucks. I get good customer service sometimes and other times its awful. Honestly the shopping experience at Sephora is ten times better but I prefer some of the items at Ulta. Price wise it seems like Ulta is also more expensive than other stores too but their products are good quality so Ive paid for them, overpriced and all.

This place is always clean, well organized and the staff is always super helpful and professional!

Wife drags me here. Boredom and lack of seating for we poor, sad, bored husbands are why its 4 stars.My wife loves Ulta though. So youve earned 4 from her.Just a seating area, like a play area for kids, but for old man instead. The more comfortable we are, the less were pressing our wives to leave.Offer free massages for husbands, she can buy anything she wants.

I have shopped this Ulta since it was first opened in the 90s as Ulta3! Always loved this store and have been a loyal Ulta customer since the 90s. This location is fantastic. Cant say much about the now Ulta I refuse to now shop at down the street from me in Montgomery, AL (thanks to a rude manager). Ulta Customer service online is, as well, not very helpful with complaints. Long long time Ulta customer and the one in Smyrna GA is fantastic

Some of the people here are helpful and want to listen to what you would like for makeup, the others just want to make a sale as fast as possible.

No one really helps you til you are ready to check out. Thankfully I knew what I was looking for and when I couldnt I just ordered it online myself. Pretty meh.

I called and asked if a product was in stock just to drive 30 minutes and be told they don’t have it. When I called, the lady on the phone said there was 4 in stock. I came in 30 minutes after our phone call to 0 of my items. The associate even said they didn’t carry the product! I work in customer service and can’t believe it—I would never be so nonchalant as these employees were to me. So disappointing and I won’t be back.

My experience at this Ulta was Amazing. The store was clean and organized. All of their displays were Beautiful and had the 21 Days of Beauty calendar visible as soon as you walked in. Ciera the manager greeted me with a warm, sincere smile as I was walking down the aisle and asked if she could assist me. Cieras customer service and down to earth attitude was refreshing and very uplifting.

I want to give a huge shoutout to Ruthie for giving me the best color and style Ive ever had! The color and highlights are gorgeous and the cut is simply perfect. Ive never been able to fix my hair without using volumizer and various products, but with this cut all I need is leave-in conditioner and a quick blow dry and its done! I HIGHLY recommend Ultas salon and especially Ruthie. Shes just fantastic.

I walked around this store looking to drop some birthday money. Noticed they didnt carry my normal foundation but was open to suggestions if someone had asked. I started wondering if I was invisible. Other people were asked if they needed help. There were many employees available. I found a good substitute at ulta and bought on amazon.

The service here was a joke. After trying to find someone my friend and I went up front to the checkout desk to ask the women there a question and she was clueless and couldn’t find anyone to help us. No one in the whole store could answer a question about there products. They also left up sales stickers for products that weren’t on sale anymore. The whole time there was a group of workers upfront in a circle chit chatting. This store was so unprofessional. Will not come back.

Visited Ulta yesterday in the Cumberland area. Had not been in there for quite a while. Always love the bright lights and the ok youve got my attention displays in this store. Especially enjoyed the neon lights display of the NYX make-up products!

Worst experience ever. Customer service was absolutely HORRID, store is super messy, dirty, empty shelves and misplaced items everywhere.

Customer service is basically non existent at this location. Unless I go in full faced I can barely get an employee to acknowledge me. Male employee on prestige side glares at me, has never once asked to help, and has a “God’s gift to makeup” air about him. Facialists are NEVER around to book appointments with, and products I want are usually sold out or misplaced on other shelves throughout. I’ll take my money to MAC and Sephora from now on.
