The battery compartment broke on my old Taylor guitar. I contacted Taylor Guitars and they told me that they no longer sell the part that broke and that I would need the updated part with an updated set of electronics. It would cost $300 (not counting shipping), and it would take about 6 weeks. Yikes. When I reached out to Kirk (found him on Google), he responded immediately and fixed the part (using 2 different types of glue and soldering) within 24 hours for $20. The guitar is as good as new! I highly recommend!

I bought a new Epiphone Hummingbird Pro and when it arrived the action was a little higher than I liked. I contacted Kirk and explained my issue. I dropped the guitar off for him to work on and he had it ready the next day. The action is now perfect and playing is effortless. Kirk took a good guitar and made it into a great guitar. I replaced stock neck and bridge humbuckers on an Ibanez AG85 hollowbody with two DiMarzios at Carter Vintage. They did a terrific job, but it took about month to go through their work queue. After playing it for awhile, I felt the new pickups did not complement this particular instrument. I wanted to return to the original pickups. However, I didnt want to travel all the way into downtown (nor did I want to wait for another month). Then I discovered Kirk. He was 15 minutes away from where I live. Kirk changed the pickups back. He did a quality job. He did it in two days. And he did it for less. I would recommend Kirk anytime.

I had Kirk do a few mods on my Les Paul Junior and he exceeded all expectations. Fantastic price, friendly, quick turnaround, and excellent soldering work. Kirk did a great job setting up all three of my guitars - a Tele, and PRS style, and my Seagull acoustic. They came back more playable than before and with PERFECT intonation up the neck. Not only are his rates reasonable, but he works quickly - I had them all back in 24 hours. You cant beat Kirkosaurus Guitar Repair for value and service. Skip the big box music stores and the guys who charge $$$ and make you wait a long time. Youll be glad you trusted Kirk for your guitar service. My only regret...is that I dont have more guitars for him to tweak.
