This specific CVS Minute Clinic is simply superior to any urgent care and felt like visiting my primary care physician. The moment you walk in, the tone is set by an extremely kind hearted care concierge and her name is Brianna . I made an appointment online after being turned away from 2 urgent care centers that were recognizable names but not run well. I made a mistake and did not scroll all the way to the bottom to click confirm. I showed up for my appointment which obviously didnt exist and Brianna did not simply tell me to go back online and make another appointment, she did not simply tell me the names of the other 2 close CVS locations with minute clinics, She immediately started problem solving and when she realized she couldnt squeeze me In quickly she picked up the phone and was ready to start calling these locations for me and getting me an appointment! WOW. The physician who treated me was a pleasure and entertained my questions with enthusiasm. Writing this review, ignoring the one sent by email. I am reaching out to corporate headquarters with quick a phone call.
Different pharmacy technicians at this business provide differing answers (or no answers) which leads to problems for the consumer/patient. I have had problems twice over the last 6 months regarding poor quality generic medication, conflicting information as to how to remedy my problem. While I had hoped to make this pharmacy my dependable neighborhood pharmacy it won’t work out. I’ll be looking elsewhere. On top of those problems I’ve been told essentially there’s something wrong with me when I’ve been frustrated about the conflicting information or unclear information. It may be that the pharmacy technicians think only as technicians based on management rules from above without compassion for their consumer clients.
Organized and clean. Friendly staff.
Need improvement on pharmacy management. Experienced increase delay in filling and alerting customers of the availability of the medications ordered by their doctors causing patients to continue suffering from their illness.Keep refilling medications not requested by the customers and their doctors. Unless enrolled in the automatic refill, CVS pharmacy should stop filling the medications for their customers. This is important rule to follow on highly addicting medications. CVS pharmacy needs to help in stopping the unnecessary supply of addicting drugs to people.
CVS is a staple in every town for a gazillion years, my moms lingo. I never thought to write a review until now. After trying to use their site for vaccine appointments, and now most recently for covid testing, Im so impressed with the ease of using their website.
If I could give zero star, I would!!! The manager at the pharmacy was really really rude. I arrived 5 minutes earlier than my appointment time for vaccine. And the manager did not prepare the vaccine and did not check the dose and simply asked me to wait. And he even threatened me if I needed the vaccine or not. I waited for 15 minutes and he finally stabbed me unnecessarily hard on my arm. It was a really bad experience. I should have stick to the place I got my first vaccine. The place was just so far away. Well, I did not expect that I needed to pay price for the closeness. AVOID THE PLACE!!!!
The rudest people you’ll ever met. i came to get my medicine with the drive-through pharmacy. they closed early that night i guess? Website does say nine maybe you should change that. This was a Tuesday regardless, But I got there at 7:45 and 3 cars in and the person in front of me took so long that when I got up to the window they turned the lights off and closed the window on me Because it was 802!! i saw the woman look directly at me and walkaway. I could never imagine doing that to someone. absolutely disgusted.
I just recently switched back to this CVS, after stupidly trying the Bridgewater location in an attept to save a little time, only to realize ( after 3 frustrating trips and several calls ) somerset is so worth the trip! They are always friendly and never rude.😀🌟
Automated system not functioning correctly. Made several attempts over a period of two days and the info I received was in process. On the second day I spoke to a pharmacy associate. I was told my prescriptions was in process. Went to CVS as I needed meds prior to leaving for vacation. No prescription....needed a new one...after multiple phone calls I called the automated system and it stated my prescription was ready. I asked why the message system was not working. I was told other customers complaining also. Service has really deteriorated. Disappointed.
The pharmacy service is great! They almost always have the prescribed medication on hand that I need. Theyre good at contacting your physicians office when you run out of refills, and they provide an automatic generation of refills if you sign-up. Notification of your prescription being ready is sent via text message. The rest of the store offers the usual over-the-counter remedies, assorted household items and beauty products, some fun and inexpensive toys for the children, a limited array of groceries and snacks. They have a great selection of chocolates and candies! The clerks are all friendly and efficient. Excellent business! Parking on the site.
Went to get a nail file and when asked they said they don’t have a section. Who’s ever heard of that from a drugstore??
I just called the Pharmacy and the person that answered the phone seemed like she did not want to be there at all. Pharmacy staff definitely needs some training
Slow awful and probably the worst pharmacy that anyone could go to. Ive been in line for 30 minutes and its barely moved. Save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else
Horrible pharmacy. They were open and I came in on time but they still refused to see me despite telling me on the phone just few minutes earlier to come in. The pharmacy staff just comes across as grossly unprofessional and lazy. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
Love this store. Even after moving to Piscataway I still come back. Staff is very nice and helpful. Greg and Kim are like old friends. George was an awesome manager but unfortunately he passed away. RIP. The pharmacy is great, when I was unemployed they found ways to lower the price on my scripts. And the service is always very nice and professional. They have a customer for life.
Let me start off with this if i could give this CVS a 10 star rating i would definitely!!! Christina is awesome!!, Tamara is the best!!! Well Bruce and Matt are top Notch professional pharmacist with great customer skills and very friendly, they try to help each and every customer to the fullest! Keep up the great work guys👍
They are by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Almost EVERY time I go here, there is an issue with my prescriptions and my discount cards. I haven’t had consistency with good service here in a long time. I really wish the Rite said across the street didn’t close; I honestly don’t even know how this CVS is even still open.
The Pharmacy here is great. Pharmacy Technician Tamara went out of her way to help me get answers on why my prescription was getting held up by my insurance company and followed back up with me. The Pharmacists are very helpful and always are ready to answer questions or step in when someone is waiting.I think this CVS is doing a great job.
I have just moved in the area. I can say without reservation that I greatly missed my former CVS Pharmacy where I used to live. This place must improve. I would suggest that the Regional Office look into the poor customer service we get, particularly in the pharmacy. Not friendly to say the least. The impression we get is that the staff are not happy with their job.
Latest episode. Left me sitting at drive through and wouldn’t answer call button. Worst run pharmacy in the country.
I always have a great experience. Everyone’s always nice and friendly. I’ve always had my prescriptions ready, my everyday items are always in stock and other things like my photos are always on time. Manager is very nice and the staff is always working.
The manager at this Pharmacy has no customer respectHere is my experience today with the Store on June-10-2018I had a 10$ CVS coupon which i received from the same store for buying toys on June-09-2018On June-10-2018, I went to the store to buy something else and used my coupon to redeem on check-outThe total sale was around 8$ and i provided the coupon to redeem. The manager at checkout told me that i would not get any change back.So thinking, i gave him an additional product at checkout. Then, manager starts saying the coupon has already been redeemed .. which was quite surprising as i received the coupon from same store just a day back.Explaining him the scenario, he accepts to use the coupon. Then after waiting for few seconds, i told him if there was still balance on the coupon i could buy a chocolate. The manager at checkout says .., everything done now .. I told you already ??He did not even tell me total sale amount after i provided him an additional products. The experience of very sour and i am never visiting this pharmacy again. The people at this store should learn to help customers and provide them with proper service.Although i lost just a dollar on the coupon .. the whole experience left a sour taste! Please improve in future
Lazy Pharmacy people too slow to fill up the prescription and wasted my time now on I go to Wal-Mart or Walgreen
I was there today getting my prescription and two store employees, looked to be managers, werent wearing masks, or social distancing from me. I will never go back there.
After spending my money in that store I needed to use the restroom and the Pharmacist told the Assistant to tell me “no” when I asked.
I like that its very quiet in this one :P
Tamara, the pharmacy rep who helped me was extremely helpful, kind and went the extra mile to help me. It was very much appreciated.
Dont choose this store for UPS ACCESS point. Theyve been messing my package for a month. If I can only give zero star.
I will be forever grateful for this CVS store, Pharmacy, staff and and amazing pharmacist who has went up and Beyond her way to make sure that my medications dont interact and answers all my questions with great understanding and education. Her compassion, knowledge, educating me and communication are helping save my life. The pharmacist named Miss. S is the most compssionate and experienced professional Ive ever met in the medical field in my experience and Im going to be 34. I truly believe I will reach 34 because I go to this Pharmacy and have dealt with this AMAZING pharmacist!!! All of the staff is and has always been kind and helpful! Once again my gratitude goes beyond words ♡♡♡-Love heals all things
Store was set to open at 7 am I waited until 7:30 am. When The store finally opened the manager says, “oh I didn’t even see you.” So much for a greeting...terrible professionalism... no customer service.
Worst communication text option EVER. They texted twice saying my RX was ready — it wasn’t. Drove there 2 days and still not ready. All the phone rep could say was ‘I understand’. The heck with understanding, get it right. I don’t have time & gas to waste on misinformation. . Your prices are ridiculous and stop texting my phone with inaccurate information just to try and be relevant.
I can pretty much just copy and paste the other reviews. No call backs. No one knows any answers to any questions. If you are able to get them off their phones long enough to sneer at you, consider it an achievement.
Worst pharmacy ever. Normally when u go to pharmacy they have capable staff to help. My son needed typhoid medicine before his travel and they said it’s not covered. I called my insurance and they said they must have made typing error. When I called back they said it’s ready but I missed my appointment with my pediatrician. Anyhow not to go there again.
This pharmacy could not receive scripts electronically from my MDs office in two weeks of their attempts. I ended up having to go back to the MD office and get the script the old fashioned way -- on a piece of paper! This pharmacy needs a boost in competence.
Horrible customer service, make you feel as though you have stolen something when you paid and had proof. Will not be going to this CVS any longer.
No professional courtesy . The pharmacy department need some basic training.
Worse place ever. Never going back there again. Ordered a mug and it was delivered there, but they said they do not have it. I received an email saying it was delivered Saturday at 236pm to an individual. Someone obviously lost or misplaced it. Now I am having a hard time getting a refund. I couldn’t even order the same mug no charge because they did not have that mug at the kiosk. I have gone two times and tomorrow is about to be the third time. I have to literally print out my emails of proof that it was delivered and that I had paid online. I had my phone to show them but the one manager said it needed to be printed out. How ridiculous!!!! I am beyond furious. I never do reviews, but this experience has made me go this far. I have even called customer care and put a complaint in. Awful taste in my mouth
They dont deserve a star. Waiting for 1.5 hours for a prescription because my doctor used an acronym . My doctor office called twice and the pharmacist got an attitude because he was on hold. But I was here for 1.5 hrs for a known prescription for Thyroid health...unacceptable
Rude and unprofessional pharmacist. While in the drive through, she (the pharmacist) told us to drive around and go to the back of the line until she gets the medicine. Whats the point of the drive through then. When we drove around, the prescription was already filled, so not sure why we had to go around. While advising me about the side effects of my medicine, she used a really loud voice. What happened to patient privacy. During another visit, she was screaming at employees behind the counter. It was just a weird experience. I think well take our business elsewhere.
Horrible unprofessional employees! Manager Graig turned me and my husband down when we tried to apply for cvs reward card he stated we are one household so we can’t apply!!! What? Had to call the law enforcement to staighten it out ! Definitely filling law suit for discrimination! If I could give less stars o would !
Unprofessional new manager. Im using this cvs location for 2 years. I never ever face any issue while checkout but now from last month new manager is not accepting egift card from my phone. Im using egift cards in cvs for a while but no one ever raise any objection. He said Im not gonna accept any payment from phone. Even Im using Samsung pay for more than a year n dont carry plastic cards anymore. Old school guy. Also cvs app is issuing extra bucks in the mobile app. Old school guy. I dont know how he become manager.
My review is for the store. Ive never used this Pharmacy
The pharmacies are not properly train, dropped of prescription and told the pharmacist I was going to wait, walking around the store get back to pick up my meds n the gate was down, and the same person that took my prescription say we close at 9, duh seriously couldnt tell me that when i said i was going to wait, another time i when to pick up meds n they said my vet never called it in, n i ask for someone to call my vet n turns out yes the meds were there, but he misread the name on the envelope, i when to pick up my photos n was told they didnt have any photo for me meanwhile i kelp getting text messeges to pick up my photo a month later i decided to try ask again n sure enough they had my photos.unprofessional staff, not a good energy from the older female at the front register, no one there seems to like there job. But i shop there because i live 2 minutes away.
The pharmacy usually has 247 people working the counter and yet they take a solid 15 minutes to serve each customer. The front registers have four stations (you know, for when its busy), but theres always just one upen with a line going back half way through the store.
This CVS on Elizabeth Ave in Somerset, NJ is horrible. The manager, Greg, has NO customer service at all. The store was open at 8:30am but the pharmacy was opening at 9am. Because I am leaving the country for 3 months and had to catch a plane I couldnt wait a half hour. Greg was rude and very short and wouldnt even let me speak with the pharmacist. Not only that but the floor in the store looked like it wasnt vacuumed or cleaned for months. The cashier, Kim, was not very helpful either.
There is a manager named Greg that is very lazy and unprofessional. It is very difficult to place the large cases of water on the counter when checking out, which is why I took a shopping cart. When i get to the counter, I asked if he would just scan the case from the shopping cart, he refused and just stood there like I was wasting his time.. Most other cashiers reach down to scan or will assist in picking the case up. Not Greg....what kind of customer service is that, glad I didnt sent my 70 yo mother in there, she would have been without water that day. His unprofessionalism speaks volumes about why this CVS gets 1 star. Someone should really check him. Maybe find a job where hes not dealing with the public. Ive already called the complaint hotline on him.
Worse pharmacy staffs!! Pls educate them how to behave with customers..I would never visit this pharmacy again!!Technicians are rude, unprofessional and racist.
They don’t really process order quickly on this Center . It is not the usual experience as in other cvs pharmacy center. However once I raised the issue that i was not processed similar to others then one of the staff helped me and got my meds completed ASAP.
Best staff. Tks Vanessa your great!
Rude, unprofessional, not knowledgeable, never coming back as there is a rite aid that is very much the opposite. Awful experience, cvs should hire better workers
Pharmacy is so slow. You would think with Rutgers pharmacy school just down the road they would have enough people on staff. Ill be editing this every 5 minutes. Currently at 15 minutes. They have already looked up my prescription and applied a rebate. Let me pay and get out of here.
Horrible service they never have there times right when picking up they make you wait for something for 40 mins when she said it would be 10 none of the pharmacist are helpful. They really should hire more ppl
Awesome cvs!! Manager is funny & friendly
It took over a week to get my prescription filled. We would be told it would be ready on a certain day and then my husband or I would go in to pick it up it wasnt there and we were told a different story each time. The main issue is HORRIBLE customer service.
Worse worse pharmacy staffs!! Pls educate them how to behave with customers..I would never visit this pharmacy again!!
The worst customer service experience. Will never use them again.
Pharmacy seriously understaffed. Last year filling prescriptions has been frustrating.
Pharmacy is the worst of all the pharmacy I have ever been to. The staff is so rude and unprofessional over the phone or at the store. No call back or follow up if prescriptions are ready or they are waiting for further information from the customer. Very inefficient staff.
The pharmacy seems to be getting slower every time you go. They have two lanes in the drive thru but not enough staff to maintain it
Good costumers service
List my prescription, gave me an attitude..evdry time I go here I regret it.
A typical CVS branch, nothing special.
Very friendly staff .....
It is okay
No problems
