Im glad this place isnt one of those sketchy businesses that tries to scam me because it saved me a fair amount of time.The prices were quite fair and they seem to want customer loyalty over simple money. I told the guy over phone that my range was $140-160 for the rim but he said itll only cost $90 + tax. That speaks a lot about this place.Friendly people too. If I need any more used parts, Ill definitely come back here.

Great guys!! I own a used car business and come all the way from Braintree because they have never given me the wrong or a bad part. We use lots of used part places on the South Shore but it seems 7 out of 10 times they have no clue what we need and if they make a mistake, they want to give you a in house credit!! I have dealt with this place 3 times and all 3 items purchased were no good, not working. The first item was a power window tracker with motor and when installed it didnt work. The second item was a condenser fan when installed it didnt work. The 3rd item was an alternator, when installed it also didnt work. All 3 times when attempeted to be retuned i was being treated with nasty attitudes and told i can swap it but no money back. I shouldnt have to keep paying my mechanic to put the part in then pay to take it back off to put another part back on. All they have to do is test it. They shouldnt assume that the part works just because it looks ok. today 7/28/2020 i asked for the part to be exchanged and the guy from the used auto part says to me. “Ill do you the favor on switching the part because its electric and they dont exchange any electric parts. I PURCHASED THE PART 7/27/2020 not even 24h has passed so i should get money or a different part without headaches. Never will i deal with them again... I DONT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL.

What a joy! Needed a car towed from a dealerships service center, and they made it happen within the day. Cut a check at their office, and I was on my way. Made my life easy. Super satisfied.

I went to J&A looking for an A/C compressor for my Toyota. Not only did they have a few in stock, but were able to give me a great price and recommendations on installation. Good news also was that I was able to pick up some great used tires at more then half of what I would of paid for new ones. Highly recommend these guys.

I asked for a part I needed he then looked up the part then said he didn’t have it. Then I asked if he could give me some other recommendations he said good luck and hung up on me. Wouldn’t recommend this place customer services is horrible!!!

This guys r robbers. Selling the part as used which is not working. I bought ac compressor for $90 and spent $300 in labor to replaced and then come to know that compressor is not working. I went back to j and a give them my car compressor and ask for refund and they told me that they need their compressor for refund. I told them that both compressor r not working so what’s a difference. I don’t wanna spent $300 again to take out their compressor to get $90 as refund. In short they don’t want to give my money back. And I found one more guy over there with same problem. Then I feel that these guys r robbers. Selling not working junk part as used. Don’t go there to buy used part. At least not for the ac compressor

I had a wonderful experience today with J&A. I didnt know if my battery was dead or my car needed something more. I had it towed there this morning and by noon-time, they had installed a brand new battery and addressed the something more by replacing my alternator. My car now runs like new!Thanks J&A!

This place is the best gave me 4 beautiful used tires installed on my car at the cheapest price around. Ask for JT he is honestly the best. Will be going back to J and A for sure!!

The last decent place in the area to sell scrap metal, and a very decent place at that. Reasonable on parts, too.

I have to tell you this guy is the worst at best. Went there to purchase seats agreed, to pay his unreasonable price of 300$ even after he displayed his lack of customer service and poor business accumen. On top of that I offered him an additional 20 to install them for me. He kept on about how he was so busy but for the duration of my stay he was doing absolutely nothing, mind you I talked to his mechanic in the back who was more than willing to do what he called a simple installation for me but his boss the guy i had been dealing with refused to make the deal. Honestly this guy would go a lot further if he treated his customers like humans.

Informative, knowledgeable, willing to share, listen and take the time to find a solution. Also very good-natured.

Awesome customers service and prices

Sold me a broken headlight switchfor 45 I put it on in his parking lot as I already had taken off the old one at home. I plugged it in and it wasnt workingb He refused to give me a refund... I had not left his parking lot and had the switch for 2 minutes. Basically robbed me and sent me on my way. DO NOT DO BUSINESS tHEREI called 128 autoparts waltham.. got a working switch for 30$ and theytold me I could return it if it didnt work. Thankfully it did.
