Service was good overall. Prices were high compared to other local Volvo dealers. However, they do accept competitors’ coupons. For example, tire rotation + alignment is $189 at Bridgewater, but the same service at another dealer is $129. Be sure to shop around!
Traveling in NJ from southern Delaware and had an issue with one of my tires. They took me in immediately, also did a recall item while I was there and corrected a minor squeak unrelated - all in an hour. Pleasant and high level of customer service! Five stars - amazing service.
I bought a used 2018 XC90 blindly on a Tuesday without seeing it first since the market had been impossible to get a car. Picked up the car Wednesday and did an inspection. Found a few things that needs to be addressed and scheduled an appointment to have the car tuned up. Volvo Bridgewater went over and beyond my expectations fixing all the small issues and even sprucing up the car more without having to request it. It took a few weeks but this car is basically spanking brand new! Its been a pleasure doing business with Volvo of Bridgewater.
It was refreshing to experience sales pressure whatsoever from my sales rep (J.P.) and the dealerships manager (Steven) who were both extremely helpful, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. I ended up canceling my appointments with 2 other dealerships and purchasing my Volvo from them. Great service - I highly recommend them.

Every time I have purchased a car from Bridgewater Volvo it has been actually pleasurable. It is not a dramatic high pitch sales act but a conversation. Service is the same way. They tell you what is needed and you discuss the different options. Would not go anywhere else.
Really good experience. Took my car in for service after scheduling my appointment on the Volvo app. The drop off was simple. Loaner vehicle was already waiting for me. My car was done exactly at the time they said it would be. The staff was really friendly.

I have been servicing my 2012 C70 at Volvo of Bridgewater since its initial lease then purchase upon lease completion. Obviously my satisfaction with the dealership is evidenced by my decision to purchase upon lease completion. They have always worked with my schedule and, usually, my budget. I have recommended them and Volvo to friends without hesitation.

I took my car for its yearly check-up. I felt I was being treated as a special client. They carefully listened to me, explained what was to be done, and followed up with an email and text. They called me when the car was ready. They provided their service the way you would hope for and rarely get. I was enormously pleased!

XC60 in for recall for fuel pump need for larger fuse, 15 to 20 size change. Received e-mail with what was done, n/c. So-called receipt called out a nut change on the front wiper?Was the proper recall done? Carl was given the recall notice mailed to my home. Was the proper service done? I really cannot be certain.

Always an issue with this dealerships service department! Made an appointment for a fuse recall and was told it would be a matter of minutes. Arrive on time for my appointment and was told there’s a second recall and now it will be at least an hour! Why wasn’t I called prior to my appointment to advise of this 2nd recall and the change in amount of time it will take? Since they have screwed up my day I asked for new windshield wiper blades to be put on and was told to add another 30 minutes!! No thanks I’ll go to a Volvo dealership that values my time and appreciates my business.

Bridgewater Volvo has excellent service. I have been a customer for over 25 years. Their service department (particularly Carl) is top notch. It is not in the day to day transactions that you see how a service depart is run; when you have a problem it the true test. Bridgewater Volvo consistently gets high marks!

Went in for a Volvo recall on the car. End-to-end process went through smoothly. It took less than a couple of hours so I waited at the reception area. It looks like Dominic may have retired and noone here comes close to being as honest and as caring. I recently worked with a young sales rep who couldnt figure out the Costco discount system. The fellow sales staff scoffed at the program when he asked for help. They basically plugged in the member pricing but held dealer incentives. I showed them another vehicle from Smythe with a Costco price that was much more substantial for the same vehicle type. The sales rep told literally told me OK whatever. So yea do yourself a favor and take your 50 to 70k to prestige or smythe. When they lose their sales for the year its OK Whatever.

Overall process and price was nice. Service seems like good but once purchased the car, very difficult to get answer about anything.My car had missing parts when I got a new car, but its been a 4 weeks and havent got installed yet and dont know when can I get it.

Dan is great and patient. Third visit was the charm and the timing was just right. I told him the car was a surprise for my wife and he went out of his way to get me a big red bow for the car. It made her day.Steve made the exit process as painless as possible too, he holds the world record for words per minute, he talks fast.
Horrible experience. Competitive offer from Edison Volvo they claimed to be matching on the phone but not doing so in person. My emails and phone calls went unanswered, only got a response when I emailed corporate. Kind of impressive to lose a customer for life before they make their first payment. Shame on me for not catching the last minute trickery on the day of the sale. I would check in to see if they are going to mail me my license plates but theyll prob tell me they werent part of the deal.
Note, this service was done by Volvo of PRINCETON, not Volvo of BRIDGEWATER. I do not know why the software assigned me as having had it done by Volov of Bridgewater. This is frustrating. Moreover I attempted to contact Volvo about this and received no response. This is deeply frustrating for me, demonstrating a lack of feedback in their system somewhere.The 10,000 mi service was courteous at Volvo of PRINCETN and exactly as scheduled starting at 10:30am and was done at 12:00pm as promised. The car was washed, which is plus. We decided to take the time to look around the cars on the lot during the wait.

We saw a car we liked and called to inquire about it. From the moment I spoke with Dominick (the sales rep) he was kind and made a plan to follow up immediately. I got a reminder call about our appointment and we went in person to test drive the car. The showroom had social distancing measures in place and felt safe especially now during Covid. Dominick was very good. No unnecessary fuss and ridiculous pricing trying to confuse the customer. Just easy, straightforward and we got a good deal on our purchase. Overall very good experience.

I have to say, as someone who has been really mistreated by car dealerships in the past, getting my car at Bridewater Volvo was by far the best experience I’ve ever had leasing a car. I spoke with John Maxton prior to coming in after finding the vehicles I wanted online and he was very straightforward and got my payment to where I was comfortable- no games, no nothing, before I even came in. I then came in to test drive it, loved it, and spent all of 30 minutes at the dealership. Picked up the car today and spoke with Steven and it was all a very pleasant experience. I have to say, I will probably be a customer for life because it was no stress, completely straightforward and an all around happy experience- which is what the process of buying a car should be! I’m so happy with my new XC40 !

Nuno and George are great and Ive been going for regular service appointments for a couple of years. They should have four stars for their customer service but I had to deduct a star as their quotes for repairs are unreasonably higher than my own mechanics for the same work.

The sales man Dominic was outstanding 👍. The sales manager experience also great! But we go to dealerships for Cars and thats a different story. Volvo S90 momentum CPO purchase, Not sure what the CPO covers. The car had bad brake when I test drove it and was out of alignment. Was told it was fixed but it was a job half done. First month in, had to go back because brakes were shaking again, car was out alignment, auto start stop wasnt working, mirrors were out of sync when reversing. Was told the battery had low charge on it.... SO AGAIN what was covered in the CPO checks or what pre-delivery checks . Mixed feelings on the new purchase, not the most confident inspiring. update 04/092021. Coming back to th as mentioned above ... Car is coming back to the dealership, for the same exact issues AS MENTIONED ABOVE car is shaking violently when I hit brakes, mirrors work sometimes when the car is put in reverse gear . Literally see the steering wheel shake when you drive above a certain speed .

I had a software problem and the had me come in right away so the problem could be rectified. The car needed a major software update. My question to Volvo management is why did I need a major update when I picked up the new car less than 4 weeks ago?

I just bought a used car from them (Honda Civic) and had the best car shopping experience of my life. I went in by myself-- as a young woman, a lot of other sales people would have probably seen me as an easy target to try and get me to buy a more expensive car or stuff I dont need, but John Maxton was awesome, didnt use any high pressure sales techniques, and took time to answer all my questions. The finance person (Steve I believe, not 100% sure) was great and personable. Definitely give them a chance if youre in the market for a car. This was the most painless car buying experience I have ever had. Loved working with them!
This is not a dealer that has Volvo standards. Today I went to have the first service on my XC60. I was told by the service manager the car would be cleaned inside and out “Covid” cleaning-“ not worry we have high standardsl”.As a cancer patient this was and important request I made to them. I had to ask twice just to have it vacuumed and it was still left dirty and shows they just don’t care about their customers.
