I have an excellent service with this location, all employees are very helpful for anything to ask to for and any materials trying to find!There storge Units are clean, I do appreciate the help Jackson and always has answers for any questions.Best public locations I have rented.

Just got a unit here, the area is really clean and well maintained. Alyxis is super patient and explained everything well. Highly recommend if you need some outside storage space.

Public Storage at 50 Middlesex Ave., Somerville, MA, has been a very good experience for us. The managers, Alexis and Jackson, have been very helpful from start to finish. Theyve been most accommodating to any needs we might have, such as upgrading to a larger unit if necessary. They have patiently answered my questions, and gone above and beyond on our move-in day: personally letting my movers know that I was going to be late getting there due to a taxi mix-up. The facility is very clean and easy to access. I give it five stars and highly recommend it.

I went in to this Somerville location today and I was helped by Alyxis. Everything went so well. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I barely had any questions because she explained everything so thoroughly. I hope this company knows what a huge asset Alyxis is to their business!

My partner and I have been long-time customers of Public Storage and our experience with them has only gotten better over time. Harold is gem and he and the team work hard to make sure things go smoothly. We had what we thought was a complicated situation be taken care of within minutes and ended up saving money. Though there is no dumpster, its not that big of a deal, and the building is kept clean and well taken care of. Thank you again!

Just closed out my storage unit at this location. Setting up the unit was all contactless and super easy. I worked with Carlos and Harry to close my unit after I moved out and both were friendly and helpful and made the experience seamless. Would recommend!

Doors sometimes are left wide open or are janky/broken. The storefront often has no attendant in sight. Once, I found a stamped-out cigarette butt right in front of my unit (my unit is far from any entrances or elevators).

Carlos was very easy to work with. Was kind enough to show me the units I had in mind and walked me through the sign up process easily. Very happy with my experience.

Great experience with Harold. He was super helpful and understanding of any questions / requests that I had. Building is also well-kept as a result of Harold’s dedication and commitment to the building.

Well-kept building, well located, conviniente hours, website description matches reality. These are what one normally expects from any storage facility. This one has it all! However, the customer service in here deserves more stars than google allows. After going through 3 different places where what the website says does not match the reality and receiving some bellow par customer service, this location was a breath of fresh air. Harold was extremely helpful and was detailed on explaining everything and answering any questions I had. Moving is often (or always?) stressful but this time around things went slightly better thanks to them.

I have been storing here for months and my experience here has been great. I ran into carlos cleaning my storage door the other day and i am very greatful! Thank you public storage!

I was in a rush and needed to get a storage unit fast as the movers were waiting. I stopped by the property and Harry, the local manager, was were helpful, and professional. I can say that Harry takes pride on the work that he does and it shows in his interactions with customers. I rented a space right then and did not look at any other facility for comparison.

Three days into my experience at this location and it has been superb. Alexis was super friendly and kind (and quick!) Linda was prompt in calling me and understanding when I had to reschedule the move-in time. It felt like they actually wanted my business, which I havent experienced at storage facilities before. The facility itself is near brand new. Its extremely clean and in good working condition. This location seems to have similar rates as other facilities in the region. I recommend getting a first floor unit as it is easiest to move it, even if its a bit pricier. Check if your renters/home owners insurance covers off-site storage to save 11-15 dollars on a mandatory insurance. Thanks Alexis and Linda!

Over all its a good building. The staff on the other hand are not great to deal with. My wife and I have a unit there. We put it under her name but it belongs to both of us a happily married couple. When I call to talk to someone they wont speak to me since it is under my wifes name. But the phone number, email and credit card are under mines.Like Forrest Gumps mom says Stupid is as Stupid does and thats how I see the staff there. They need to fix this issue.

Best storage near Boston. Super clean facility, long hours and secure building. The staff has been extremely helpful and down to earth both times. They actually inspect the unit with you and make sure everything is perfect before you’re all set up. Jon was especially helpful setting us up.

Even with the pandemic this place fulfilled all my storage needs. The gentleman who helped me I think his name was Hyu was knowledgeable as well as quick and hygienic. Would recommend this place to anyone seeking storage needs!

Edit: I had originally written the review when I was looking for a unit, and today was my last day and I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. The customer service is always out of this world friendly, I will rent in the future again! I am moving from Boston to AZ that is the only reason I am leaving. Other than that, I informed them on the 1st that I am almost done and they said they will do their best to pause the fee since I get charged at the beginning of each month. I finished on the 3rd and still had to pay the full price for the month of March which didn’t make me too happy since I was told We could work something out otherwise, but other than that I can’t complain about anything else.I had a great experience. John, Cathy and a third guy I forget his name really helped me out a lot and answered all my questions. They showed meThe unit, helped me figure out what insurance I need and were extremely friendly. Amazing customer service! Thank you! Very excited and welcomed to store my stuff here.

Stopped in this location looking for information on storage. Cathy and Jon were extremely helpful and helped me understand the process and gave me great tips on how to keep my stuff safe while being stored. Pleasantly surprised and pleased with the service received by them as well as their knowledge on storage.

Great pricing!They have an insurance for stored items, and carts on the side for easy transportation of goods. The set up was fast, easy, and it is secure by gate codes and locks. Highly recommend, even the location. After all the moving swing by assembly square for refreshments and refueling!

The site manager, Cathy, was friendly, cheerful, and incredibly thorough showing me the site, the unit, and explaining the lease in detail. It was an easy decision to rent the unit after meeting her. The facility is clean, bright, and full of security checkpoints that made me feel safe leaving my items there.

Nice climate controlled storage space with access code security and an on-site office that sells moving supplies. I was really happy with the onboarding process. Electronic documents, e-receipts, and monthly recurring auto debit makes this place streamlined and stress free.

Yesterday was my second time renting a storage unit at the Public Storage in Assembly Square. The facilities are clean and well kept, and the leasing process is very straightforward! Cathy assisted me with both of my rentals, and both times she gave me a thorough tour of the facility, walked me through the lease agreement, and answered any questions I had throughout the process. They have great deals if you reserve your unit online and if you are a first time renter. Highly recommend this Public Storage location!

The two women working were very helpful and informative, especially Alexis. She explained all the details of the space and broke down the pricing for me. The space is clean and clearly well maintained. They also provide boxes, tape, mattress bags, etc to make moving very easy.

After moving in at a decent rate they raised the rates without notice twice in less than a year. Ask how long the rates good for. Then after moving out on the 5th, they billed me for the entire month saying any move out after the first is billed for the entire month. BE VIGILANT.

Great great great! This company has really helped me out with my situation and worked with me greatly! I rented my space for only $1 for the first month, the next month when I realized it was a little out of my budget, Angela was more than happy to help me out even when she was at a different store. Wonderful customer service, if I were to recommend any storage in the future, I would definitely recommend friends and family to come here. Not only are Angela and Ashley great, but the storage space is very clean and large. Thanks again Public Storage for all the help.

Had a great experience finding a unit here to rent! Cathy was very patient and friendly and the process was extremely easy - would definitely recommend.

Clean, convenient, friendly, and organized. The units are priced well for being so close to the city. A couple observations though, 1.) as some have mentioned, the facility is not 24 hour accessible. 2.) The use of facility provided push-carts/dollies becomes quiet competitive during the weekends. All-in-All, I would recommend Public Storage.

Aljumar was a great help to me. I needed to move out of my old storage facility and he found me the perfect space for the right price at public storage. I also had to get their very affordable insurance very handy makes me feel secured here. Thank you so much public storage I needed this.

This place is nice. Professional, clean, climate controlled and right next to my house :) Al was helpful in getting me set up with everything.Oddly enough, the pricing was compatible to a similar sized non-climate controlled storage unit I was renting before doing the switch (probably because those were drive-in units, my new one is on the fourth floor, but the freight elevators should make moving around easy). So I am pretty happy so far.... Lets see how it goes!

The facility is spotless and super secure. The representative that help me, Rhonda, was exceedingly helpful and friendly. I really felt well taken care of.The only thing I would change is to have the minimum required insurance fee ($11) included in the online quote. The quote included the one-time administrative fee but not the REQUIRED insurance.

Very clean facility with lots of amenities. Angela surely is an asset to your company! Very smart, informative, and over all very knowledgeable of the whole process. I left not wondering or questioning anything. I recommend this facility to all looking for storage!

Customer service was awesome! Joe was patient with our questions and showed us a few storage units. All customer service reps are personal and cheerful. I would totally recommend Public Storage to anyone. Pricing is a lot better than most places.

Everything was on point, on budget, and on time. I could not have asked for a better customer service experience. Joe and Ashley were knowledgable and accommodating. The facility is clean and easily accessible with big halls, doors, wide elevators, and a loading dock that easily fit our TALL moving truck. Thank you!

Easy process to check in. Friendly staff. Clean facility. In a good, safe location. Reasonable prices, although the mandatory $20 for the lock that they dont tell you about online is kind of annoying.

My husband and I have been renting at Public Storage Somerville for many years. We also have a space in Medford as well and have had great service at both facilities . Today John came by and helped me take my bins to my car. If you need storage this is a great place for it.
