Such great selection and services. Ive been a customer for 35+ years and The Chop is my first choice market..
Great store. Lately Ive been picking up sushi and rolls from the special counter where you can watch it made fresh. Inexpensive, Im in and out and bring my son the carpenter lunch so we can visit on his break. Great Gluten Free and non-dairy options, and many local VT products!!!
This Price Chopper is quite clean and they keep the shelves and produce very neat. Easy to find things.
After work at 5 only self check out lines open. Even before the pandemic this has a problem. Your a grocery store have cashiers people come here to buy food not stand in line.
Great small little grocery store. Its nice for everyday shopping. You may miss out on some very specific items that larger stores have, but if your not crazy specific about what you need to get this store is great. Awesome deli staff. Butcher counter is great. And the seafood is good quality with a friendly staff. One star taken off only because sometimes often only later at night self checkout is the only option.
I am in NY and wanted to send a gift basket to a Dr. in VT. I used FTD and was given Central Market Florist, which is in this grocery store, although there was no mention of that online. I purchased a Premium Chocolate & Candy Gift Basket for $92 in the am and by 4:30 on the basket was not delivered. I called the phone number on my receipt, the first time I saw the name Price Chopper, and was told they were not the store handling my order, but they would look into it. They called me back to let me know this store was filling my order and they were short staffed and had no one to deliver. Absolutely no contacted me from this store to tell me this. They had my phone number, my email, and all day to tell me. The woman helping me said they were upgrading my premium basket and delivering it tomorrow. Today I received a picture of my $100+ upgraded, Premium Chocolate & Candy Gift Basket and UNACCEPTABLE is the only thing I can think of to say. I am MORTIFIED that the people I was gifting think this is what I chose. It contained about 8 to 10 candy bars.
Had to go grab some food real quick
Store front so grand union look and so out dated. i not make specal trip to go to price chopper south Burlington i dont mind hte one in essex center but do like essex center hannaford. but then we have hannaford i willisotn with shaws. most time i rather go to mack market buy vermont first or mazza. the price choppers dont carry my moutain dew 1 liters. good price for soda 2 liter butcant drink a two liter and drive i need my one liter the 20oz to much money for when i can get the same 2 liter for same price. there meat package not so great. all we get is bone in chicken that almost chokeld on. rather go to costco to get my bonless boobes. and tighs. i rather shop at hannafords.
Smaller Price Chopper, but great service.
One of the saddest and lonely its grocery stores in which Ive ever shopped especially when compared to the Price Chopper on Shelburne Road which is 10000 * grander. This store is understaffed and under stocked. I would only go there in a super emergency
I always get stared down and followed as if Im being accused if stealing something. It makes me very uncomfortable and my kids even think its wierd when cashiers stare us down while we are self check outing. Not my fav store, and its because of the last 3 interactions with cashiers..
Small... but its so easy to get in and out!
I love Price Chopper so much. I love their prices and sales and everything/all the products I can buy in the store. I can pretty much get almost every last thing I could want and need at Price Chopper.
Went to the hot bar for hot food and received cold foodit’s 11am it shouldn’t be cold! rest of the store seems alright
I stopped in to check the prices. Their sales are quite good. Their regular prices tend to be much higher than Hannaford. $4.99 for 1lb of strawberries at Price Chopper and $3.99 for the same thing at Hannaford, for instance.
They have Silverfloss, Bavarian style sauerkraut. What else needs to be said?
In and out in no time pickup what I needed and on my way.
Not a very big store. Got a cake from display was so so so gross. Had mold in the middle of it and I dont think the guy should have given me the one he did. Wont buy cakes here again.
Well its in a good location with walgreens right nextdoor and an Indian market in same plaza. Has a decent selection of most things. Staff is friendly although it often seems short staffed. The store itself is just dark and a bit rundown feeling. They dont have a lot of fancy baked/hot goods or varying selections. Theres a market 32 about 5 min away that is amazing and priced the same. Feels like the prices should reflect the lack of pizazz and dingy ho hum feel.
Its another good place to shop.
Good produce decent prices
The store may have what youre looking for but with self checkout its a nightmare to purchase anything so unless they have a register open dont shop here
Frequent Flyer the past few days in VT.
Been shopping here for 20+ years! Overall a nice friendly neighborhood store where the staff are helpful and courteous! My only two complaints is the replacement of name brand products with PICS brand. Yes they are cheaper but the quality is less than desirable! My only other issue is that I buy two bags of bagels from the bakery every week, and the plastic bags tear at the slightest touch. The bags are sealed with some sort of tape that is armor plated (I think) I can’t cut it without destroying the bag! If they could make the bags out of the stuff the tape is made of and the tape out of the bag material that would be better! Like I said earlier I go there for the friendly staff!
I went there some time ago before this whole vivid virus. They used to have 6 bagels for $2 after 6 pm. Which is/was great deal. Every time I happened to be in the area I would buy the bagels. One day I decided to buy extra to bring family members etc, and employee ( I assume manager said deal is no longer active. I simply left and sent my wife in, and she bought 6 bagels for $2. Not sure why they did it to me, but their staff always seem rude and nice people that used to work there seem to have left. So to sum it up, its not the bagel issue its the attitude of their employees, that prevents me from going to this price chopper.
Good deals and quick checkouts
Not crowded at all
Excellent customer service, but people were not adhering to social distancing and directional travel in aisles
Has a great variety of food.
Very clean store, nice staff, and always have what you need. One of my favorite places to shop at.
Seems corporate is more concerned with stocking the shelves at market 32! This place was like mother Hubbards cupboard.
Maximum Excellence
I had an absolutely amazing experience at the price chopper on Hinesburg road this past week. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. The young lady Erica who was working the guest services desk went above and beyond to help me find a couple items that I couldn’t locate. I recently moved to this area and didn’t know the first thing about any of these stores. The awesome experience that I had is why I will continue to use this location to do all my grocery shopping going forward. If you haven’t been shopping at this location yet I recommend it!
Store was clean, so that was good. But no carts. Associates claimed they were being disinfected. Ok, but all the carts were scattered in the parking lot. I guess solar and wind work for carts but not people.
This is a smaller format store, great for quick trips to pick up one or two common items. I probably wouldnt want to do my big grocery shopping here, though, just because it lacks selection. The location is super convenient right on Williston road, making an easy stop on the way home from work.
Vey nice
Store is just fine, what one would expect. Only one cashier and the self checkout was open at noon.
I went to price chopper today on Williston Road in South Burlington at 1:30pm (a Saturday), and there were two employees that were not wearing masks. One was stocking shelves and I had to skirt by him. Truly outrageous, and I will never be going back in there.
Clean, friendly employees, reasonable prices, motorized wheelchair carts for those of us who are disabled, helpful staff and they have Maple Walnut Ice Cream! I cant get that in Southern California. I miss it.
Price chopper is the best.
Best PChops there is. Love the front end manager Christa! Shes sooo sweet
Great prices
A great option for basics on a budget.
There are three different grocery storesThat My friends and I have shopped at. We all agree that Price Chopper has the best deals and prices.
Its an okay grocery store. Selections can be limited on some items and the best prices are with the supermarket card. Employees are friendly and helpful. My biggest peeve is that the tortillas are in the Mexican aisle and not on the bread aisle.
Personnel are very responsive and manager is a good guy.
I had a good experience not many customers and very nice employees that where very helpful.
They could use more cashiers. I dont like the self checkout. Otherwise a pretty good selection for a medium sized grocery store and its conveniently located.
I love this store. The people are always very friendly and helpful and the store is inviting and comfortable. Price Choppers over-sized, mega store on Shelburne Road is simply unmanageable and ridiculously confusing. That store is much too large for convenience. It takes way too long to cover the whole store. This location on Hinesburg Road is so much more pleasant for shopping. IF it ever closes, I will switch to Shaws!
Very clean and organized grocery store. The staff are always very happy, and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure you have everything and always ask if assistance is needed. In comparison to other stores, they have a comparable selection, but better prices. Getting money of gas at Sunoko is just an added perk.
They do not wipe down the registers between customers
I am definitely reconsidering going to purchase anything at this store anymore. The stocking of items is extremely unreliable, and the deli seems to be understaffed to be able to make something as simple as chicken salad at any point in a 72 hour time span. I used to go to this store because it has products that I cannot get at hannafords. I went into this store 6 times now in the last 3 days and not once were any of the items I was looking for in stock. Extremely disappointing.
Great bakery and selection of items! Prices on the shelf. SHOULD be the same (not more expensive, especially with card) at the register which wasnt the case with one item.
Good it has a bathroom
To bad our Price Chopper in Plattsburgh isnt as nice as this one was. Shelves stocked, better selection of foods and just nice. Will shop there again!
Mask policy not being enforced. Never shopping there again.
Were visiting the area and picked up some great Seafood here!
It is like Market Basket in Massachusetts with the exception of the necessary savings card. No card- no sale prices. Took me 3 minutes to get one. Worth it. Lines are short and move quickly.
The gentlemen behind the seafood counter took the lobster out to show my son. Was very friendly. The store was clean and well stocked
Its a bit smaller then most p-chops. And often doesnt have exactly what I was looking for. But tends to have all the basics and is about what you might expect. Hasnt had the market 32 makeover yet either
The store is always clean and everything is laid out in a way that makes sense. The flowers are fresh and the produce is beautifully displayed.
Its good enough. Decent selection. Nice size. But not all PCs carry the same items which is very frustrating. The cashier today chose to stand there while I bagged and the card reading was screaming at me to take my card out...they do not believe in baggers.
The store wasnt that busy but the personnel was on par. Usually they ask if you found everything you were looking for, they did but I was fine. Will definitely return.
I went to pick up groceries for the weekend, the first section is fruits and vegetables. The was an employee stocking the fruits, I started to look at the section he was near and he asked me if i was looking for anything and if I needed help to let him know. That is the kind of attentiveness and kindness that everyone should look for an employee. I like how Price Chopper has labeled the Gluteb Free on their price labels, it makes my job as a parent of a child with celiac to shop. The cashier was in training and also showed the same kindness that employees should demonstrate. It makes a shopping experience so much better. Its a smaller Price Chopper than other ones but the experience is not diminished in any way.
My past two visits: lots of parking, not crowded, but only one checkout lane open and there was a long line. It took forever to get out. They used to do a better job with this, but I have to wonder if theyre having staffing issues.
Typical supermarket.
Plenty of supplies, and quick and easy
It has a variety of different snacks and a deli in the back
The store is handy for us and we get good deals there.
The only lines open at 4:30pm were self checkout. Not a single cashier
Clan store and workers are nice, I hate how they charge for cash back and If you dont have a card it is pretty expensive. They do have Mountain Dew 24 packs which is cool.
Our go to store let us down once again. Ive had a long day and Im tired, so we closed early said the kind guy at the Deli around 8.15pm. My wife even pointed out the sign says 9pm.Boy that kind of work ethic, shutting down almost an hour early will get you far in life. I wish I got paid for nothing in return.. this is the second time this happened at this location, meaning well have to come back tomorrow. Please train your staff to do what theyre paid for.. see ya tomorrow Price Chopper!
I shop here all the time and always have great service 😊
Probably the most reasonable of the chain grocery stores. 4 stars because their selection could be better.
Good store to shop at if you buy the sale items only. Their seafood department is better than others in the area.
Terrible management. Just left our basket of groceries in the store and walked out. One register open with a line wrapped around the store, self checkout closed, shift leaders wandering around doing ???. Garbage store if you are trying to buy anything. Writing this review from Hannaford right nowWhoever is in charge of the donuts is a goddess though, best donuts in the area.
I love this Price chopper! Super friendly people! Ive been going to this store everyday for the last 9 years!
Just got an advantage card today. They have most of the name brands and cheaper store brands than most competitors. Great place!
Nice, I wish their was more of a selection and variety of products though
Nice store .... i go in almost daily to the hinsbugh rd location and rebecca is always very helpful and kind also very good with my kids....we look foward to going in everyday!
The go-to supermarket for high quality and good priced in the Burlington area.
Rebecca was absolutely wonderful, she made me feel as a customer very welcome in the store
Good prices
Poor customer service -forced use of self check out. Need more actual people working customer service and registers.
Didnt go in
Always a good experience
Check out was slow needed more cashiers
Zachary did a great job on his 1st day. You rocked it Zachary!
The store seemed to have everything you need a had a lot of healthy choices For example the ready to eat section seemed to be well stocked and fresh. However Im not sure when they start cleaning up When I got there after 8:00 p.m. they had already started to clean up
Its a lot smaller than the Price Chopper on Shelburne Road, and they dont have somethings that the bigger store has but its always clean theres not a lot things in your way, and the employees are very nice and very friendly. For being a smaller store then the one in Burlington this is a great place to do your shopping.
Usually my go-to place for groceries. Has most of the stuff you need and cheap prices.
The deals here are spectacular! I buy 90% of my groceries from here and will continue too.The staff is very nice and the produce is always fresh. That is about all you can ask for in a grocery store
Meh its price chopper.lmao
Limited selection and prices seem high. Okay for picking up certain things quickly.
Plenty of selection, the most helpful employees, I never see long lines at the checkout, and they recently put in a few self checkout lanes! Plus they sell wine and champagne, so when I go running in 15 minutes before Im supposed to be at a get together where I promised to bring booze and chocolate I can get everything done in one place.
Love the deals and meat packages really good
Big enough for all the things I need, small enough to be personal
