This was a pleasant find after riding bikes from the state line to Camp Richardson and back. We saw a sign for a deli from the street and what we found was a delight. Great atmosphere, good sandwich selection and a nice outside garden to enjoy eating. We ordered two specials: The yam press wrap and the Caprese. Both were done well and refreshing to have on a hot day. Would highly recommend and will be back next time in south lake.

Great sandwich.Probably a good idea to call in your order because the wait was long.The employee with the curly hair was great. She was friendly and explained nicely how the setup works with the coronavirus safety rules and she was working the whole time we were there.

Crazy little shop! So cool. The wine and cheese selection is incredible! Such a friendly staff. I loved sitting in the patio and enjoying the sun and conversation with my cousins on our visit to lake Tahoe.. a must to stop and shop..

This is a hidden gem in Tahoe. The staff is incredibly helpful. It has a great selection, and the prices are very reasonable.

This place has been in Tahoe since like the early 80s at least. Its great food and huge selection of wines is rare enough, but they also have great micro brews and cool gift items. Grab a sandwich and a drink and head out to the outdoor tables... Perfect.

Love their Sandwiches, best meat in town. I strongly recommend getting the sandwich of the day. Some menu Items can be pricey but you get what you pay for in quality.Some of the nicest employees too, some places in Tahoe aren’t welcoming to tourists but, I find Cork & More very friendly to all visitors.

What a gem! Great sandwiches and sides, and you can buy a bottle of wine to drink there while you eat. All the the staff members were so nice and they guy that made my sandwich knew I was trying to order vegan and immediately jumped on getting some yummy mustard added to my veggie sando. All over great shop!

First time here and we really liked their sandwiches. A standard sandwich goes for around $9. Their special sandwiches can go for around $12. My son had their tuna sandwich for around $6. They have a nice selection of wines and they have some non-alcoholic drinks and special beers for those wanting that microbrewery selection. They are somewhat hidden but worth looking for.

Great sellection of local wines and wine collectables. Great menues for a meal and they cater. I had a glass of fine wine after tasting a couple. Nice outdoor patio to sit. A must see place. A bit pricy, but everything is up now. A great place to find a nice gift for a special friend.

The staff is very friendly and the food is very tasty. They have Amdrican and Greek food. There is outfoor sitting or take-out availabel.

Wine selection was great. Deli sandwiches were small considering the price tag. I would come back if I needed to find a gift for someone.

Decent toppings and cheese but theyre a little over priced. I think the rolls came from raleys in a six-pack plastic bag. Good selection of beer wine and cheese. The people were super friendly and their little space out back is nice and cozy. I go again but I would try different bread from the French roll.

One of my favorite stops in South shore. Excellent service, good recommendations on wine, a nice, shady patio in the side to lunch or take part in a wine by the glass or wine tasting--they offer both.Excellent local stop.

Our family are long time customers of Cork and More. The staff is always full service, helping us pick out just the right wine for the adults and the best baked treats for our kids, who always beg to go in whenever we are nearby. Everything is absolutely delicious. The cheese selection has EVERYTHING. The catering is beyond amazing. But what really goes above and beyond the call of duty is their service during the COVID restrictions. This staff has done not only everything they can to ensure safe pick up of food, they have created special meals to remind us how lucky we are to have them in our community. This business has always been an integral place for helping our community fundraise, but I cannot tell you enough how hard they work to help us ALWAYS, during good times and hard. Thank you so much.

This is the best place in South Lake Tahoe for wine. The staff are very knowledgeable and helped us pick out the perfect wine! We didn’t try the food but I hope to come back to try the food. Their meat & cheese selection looked amazing as well!

Great shop to buy wine, coffee, coffee beans, gifts and wonderful deli selections. My wife and I purchased hot pastrami sandwiches today, and they were awesome. Dont expect sandwiches to be ready instantly, but do expect quality food and friendly service.

I practically live here now. The staff is incredible and off you a cheese sample when you walk in the door. Lovely display of wines, crackers, cheeses, gifts and they make gift baskets and offer shipping! Everyone is so friendly, the owner came up and introduced herself to me on my first visit. Did I mention they have a killer deli in the back?! Filled with sweet treats and craft salads. Like I said, I basically live here. I’m obsessed with absolutely everyone and everything here. It’s very charming and cozy, you won’t be disappointed. Either you’re in this place for yourself or someone else, the staff is sure to deliver an excellent experience.

Hands down the best sandwich I had in my life and customer service was outstanding.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Delicious sandwiches with plenty of meat and cheese. We walked in half an hour before close and never felt rushed. I thought they had a great selection of wine and the staff were engaging and educated on the wine. My only complaint was it seemed a bit pricey. $26 for two sandwiches and one bag of chips. However, no wait on a Saturday evening and the staff were enough to make up for it.

We had the Cork & More cater our wedding and it was by far the best experience I have ever had working with someone. They were incredibly nice and extremely helpful. They checked in with me ahead of time just often enough to make sure everything was set. The food was absolutely delicious and their service is top notch (they left the venue cleaner than when they arrived). I really really really recommend them to anyone who wants an event in Tahoe catered. It was an absolute pleasure.

The Cork and More is a gourmet food and wine shop. They have a great selection of wines from California and all over the world. The deli in back has soups, sandwiches, and the usual deli items like differet types of salads. There are some specialty kitchen tools and a wonderful selection of gifts.

This review is for the deli, not the whole store. Ordered an oven roasted turkey breast sandwich on a wheat roll with no cheese.Ended up paying $11 and change for a 6 sandwich with dry turkey, a piece of lettuce, two slices of tomato and mayo.Will not be returning. There are plenty of places in Tahoe that serve a larger/better sandwich in the $7-10 range. The $9 Real Tahoe Turkey at the nearby Sprouts Cafe is a perfect example.

This place is tremendous, they not only have food artists at play inside, they also are very nice people. They recently did the desserts for our wedding (pies) and everyone raved about it. The brownies and sandwiches are out of this world, and when we asked about a restaurant to eat at, they called and got us a reservation. Top notch!

The patio area is very cute. Even though we got here at almost closing time, we were treated super well. They have a great wine selection, good cheeses and some cute stuff to sell.

Ordered sandwiches at the deli with my husband & son and sat at a table outside in the back to eat. The food was tasty yet seemed a bit overpriced, even for organic & local ingredients (I usually seek these out anyway), and portions werent very big. Staff was very friendly and helpful to us. The store has a great selection of gifts and loose teas and specialty artisan foods.

We just had a wine tasting party with hors doeuvres at their venue and it was wonderful. Every detail was carefully taken care of. Our whole group was so impressed by the friendliness and knowledge of the staff. They have an excellent wine selection and great menu items to select for entertaining. Thanks to the wonderful, friendly staff at Cork and More. Kim and Jim are great to work with.

Youre gonna have to wait in a decently sized line to grab a sando, but thats just a testament to how good they are. A little bit higher priced than your average sandwich in town, but really fresh and delicious and, Id say, worth the time and money. Also, huge cheese selection and of course, a boatload of wine. Grab a sando, try a new cheese youve never had, grab a bottle of Pinot, and you and your significant other will be set.

Wanted to love this place...all my favorites in one spot. Planned a day out and this was first stop. Coming from Livermore wine country its not like we looked like we were uneducated about wine and cheese. The staff was the most unfriendly I have ever encountered. Nobody greeted my family, nobody asked us if we needed any assistance with cheeses, meats, deli...nobody asked if we needed any help looking for anything. I wanted to purchase some wine and cheese which all were very well priced and lovely but again nobody seemed interested in assisting. I would expect places like this to offer samples of cheeses and wine tasting when an individual is actively digging thru the cold case and reading wine labels.
