We had the pleasure of working with Caleb to find a used mini van that would help haul our growing family of 3 kids under 5. Caleb showed us the options we had to choose from and quickly narrowed it down to 2 vans. After comparing pros and cons and taking a test drive, we settled on one that best fit our needs. The whole experience was hassle free and low pressure. Caleb is a down to earth and easily relatable kind of salesman. He was confident that we’d figure out which van was right for us. We enjoyed our vehicle trade in experience with Caleb and his team who were as friendly and hospitable as they come in today’s dealerships. With all the technology advancements that can make some car buying experiences seem disconnected, it’s nice to have exposure to a traditional hand shake, and yet with a staff that is on top of all the latest trends and technology. It short, we appreciate the care and ease that Caleb gave to us and if he’s that way with all of his customers, he will have a strong network of referrals streaming his way in his career ahead!

Oil change price increased once I came in for my appointment, even after giving them my VIN over the phone to get the price. Waited two hours for an oil change on a Tuesday at 8:45. Was told to collect my keys from someone moving my vehicle out of the garage, not sure how they would know the vehicle is even mine. Left dealership and as I was exiting the vehicle I noticed a fresh scratch to top it off. Not a good experience.

This dealership is one of the worst shopping experienced I have ever had. For starters, the salesman baited us with a 3 year comprehensive warranty and 3 free oil changes/tire rotations. Turns out the warranty only had a year left and the oil changes were an additional service to be purchased. When we picked the car up, the person detailing the car did a terrible job and the interior was still dirty. Then the day after the purchase, the finance manager informed us that the car had a differant engine and they could not uphold the 7 year warranty. They sold us a fraudulent car and offered us nothing for the headache. Terrible professionalism. Only interested in the sale.

On June 9, 2021 I brought my 2012 Jeep Liberty for an oil change, tire rotation and 16-point “health” inspection. Mileage noted at intake was 111,363The inspection was important to me due to the age of my vehicle, and the prospective traveling I had coming, I wanted to ensure safety for myself and two young children. My experience while my car was at the dealership was average- quick messaging with the service representative and answered my questions thoroughly however we did have some miscommunication on total costs but we worked through it. Upon arrival to pick up my vehicle, there was a new vertical crack in the middle of the windshield. Despite the crack not being noted on the intake condition OR the 16-point inspection report, the dealership did not compensate me for the crack. The service manager also provided limited empathy for my situation. August 10, 2021, I took a road trip in the vehicle and upon arriving to my destination found the passenger front tire low. While filling up the tire, I noticed significant dry rot – it was even peeling (see photo). This was the condition on BOTH front tires. HOW was this not noted, two months ago during a tire rotation AND 16-point inspection. I immediately took my car to a local tire shop who noted the tread depth on my tire to be 4/32 and that the tires were 7 years old- total car mileage was now 112,374. I’m flabbergasted that this was not noted on either of the paid inspections I purchased through this dealership. Rot like this does not occur in two months and 1,000 miles. I’m livid at the thought that I paid to have an inspection done to ensure my safety- and now I don’t trust any of the report.

I brought my daughter car in for an oil change. The oil change was completed and was advised needed oil pan replaced ($1300 price tag) but it wasn’t stopping the functionality of the car. The car was parked for 2 days not driven. As return from holiday trip noticed it was huge amount of oil in the driveway. I called and was advised to bring the car in. The following day I brought the car in at 7am to be looked at. I didnt get a return call until I called at 4:30pm and at this point I was told the leak was due to needing the oil pan replaced which I didn’t believe because had not brought the car in for oil change-the car wouldn’t have leaked. The dishonest part was when I brought the car back in it was never checked out, they just went by initial visit- The manager didn’t even see the car on the video being checked out when he re-winded the camera footage. Also, the tech advisor was not listening to what I was saying. He kept trying to change the narrative and switch it the oil pan along smirking while he was talking. I had the car towed to Midas who in turn discovered an oil pan was not needed. The issue was the drain plug was not tightened which caused an oil leakage. I explained to the manager had the car was checked out when I brought it back it would have been discovered the drain plug was not tighten – this mechanics 101. I request the future oil changes to be refunded because at this point, I don’t trust the mechanics if something this small as an oil change get screwed up and was going to have me spend $1,300 on a job that wasn’t needed. The manager did refund the future oil changes. But I’m disappointed of the customer services and not being honest.

I was very pleased with Abe Hinsey, Sales Rep. He treated me like we were long friends.Beware. This dealership mandates an aftermarket protection package which covers Theft Monitoring, Stain Protection and Paint Protection.Ask your sales rep to confirm the costs are correct. The dealership valued the aftermarket additions at $2,600 upon my purchase. The cost of the aftermarket line item was $1,000 less when Abe and I ran the numbers 5 days prior.

Horrible customer service! (In the Service department) They made me drive my car to the Rochester Hills Jeep because that location fixed my car the first time. Southfield Chrysler Jeep wouldnt even look at my car when my car was stalling out and having throttle problems. They saw my paperwork in the system and said you have to go back there and have them fix it. My car was not in a condition to drive 20 miles. Rochester Hills is not close when you are driving a car thats having engine issues. My car literally stalled out several times along the way to the Rochester Hills Chrysler Jeep location. I had to turn off my car and restart it at red lights. Quality customer service is difficult to find these days.

Experience was mostly good. Joshua (my salesman) was great, he rates 5 stars. However, I did not appreciate being held up as another salesman, I assume my salesman’s boss, attempted to verify the mileage on the vehicle I returned. He made me feel like I had done something wrong, even though I knew I hadn’t. I came probably within 15 minutes of walking out and going back to where I’ve bought my last three new vehicles. This will definitely be in the back of my mind when it’s time to turn my truck back in, it could influence my decision on where I’m going to spend my money. All in all, Josh and the young lady I saw at end of the process to sign all the paperwork were very good and professional.

My rode to a 2021 Jeep Compass was VERY ROUGH yet Moose made sure every step was taken care of. I caution anyone looking to purchase and/or lease a vehicle from this dealership because the responsiveness and professionalism stops at the end of the transaction.I leased a 2021 truck from this dealership. I have called my sales representative and his sales manager to inquire about additional accessories for the truck and to check the status of my new plates. No response; consistently tossed to person to person without anyone providing answers. I wont be returning the vehicle here nor will I opt for any of the maintenance to be performed here.

Made an APPOINTMENT to have my car serviced under warranty. Appointment was about 10 days out. I drop my car off at 9 am on a Tuesday. By the end of the day they told me they didnt get to it and would get to it Wednesday morning. I was perplexed, as I had an appointment I made over a week prior. By the end of Wednesday they hadnt gotten to it. To make a long story short, they hadnt got to my car by FRIDAY, and told me it would be Monday when they could get to it, despite the fact that I dropped my car off for a 9am Tuesday APPOINTMENT. Having my car sit there for a whole week? The service manager told me they are backed up and that is just how it goes, and how dealerships work. I told him I understand back ups, but why would you have me drop my car off and be without it (they did not give me a loaner), when it was just going to sit there for almost a week before they even look at it? Why not just reschedule me? He told me that is how dealerships work. I picked up my truck Friday evening and ended the debacle. I called Golling asked their policy, and asked if I made an appointment if they would get to it that day, and they were puzzled I even asked the question--they said that is the whole point of an appointment. I asked Golling if for some reason they were backed up would they reschedule, so I wouldnt have to go so long without my car, and they said of course, but they schedule their appointments to manage their load, so that wouldnt happen. While the guys there were not rude, they were also utterly unapologetic. Their attitude seemed to be, since they apparently have enough work, take it or leave it. Horrible customer service and care. Ive also had my car there in the past where their technicians were unable to fix issues other dealerships had no problem with. Overall, Southfield CDJR is just a total circus, I recommend taking your car elsewhere to avoid the debacle.

Aaron P was very helpful and attentive. Made the buying process easy. I drove 2 hours 1 way to get my vehicle to find out that I had plastic rim covers on it when I got back home. I was told my rims were and upgrade package at the dealership. Waiting for a phone call back from the dealership to clarify?? Hopefully this can be sorted out?

Talk about judging a book by its cover. I came in looking for a track hawk or a Durango hellcat in my work clothes and was treated terribly. Little do they know i dealt with golling and already have a price locked in but didn’t want to wait 4 weeks for one to arrive but i was treated like i wasn’t going to buy by the way i was dressed. He didn’t even tell me he had one i had to point it at on the show room. Little did he know i had 9000 in my pocket ready to buy (plus a 800 credit score and make very well over six figures) and he said ya this one is here and it’s the msrp plus 10,000 over market. Then i said oh can we take off the 10,000 and I’ll get it and he says no have a good day. Treated me terrible i will never come here again to purchase anything and will let everyone know about my experience. I bet if i left my house dressed up and came there he would of been drooling. He was a young middle eastern guy with a beard. Guy didn’t even try to make a sale. To golling i go to finish the deal!!

Monday March 1st. I took my car in for service. Gayle one of the service Managers assisted me. The staff is friendly and helpful they provided me an uber too and from my home while my vehicle was inspected. Gayle offered great suggestions regarding future service for my vehicle. When I came in to consider what to do with my vehicle whose lease was expiring soon, I met with Angelo Denson, who took the time to go over my options with me, and showed me another possible vehicle based on the things I said I was looking for. When I decided to lease a new vehicle, I told Angelo which one I wanted, and I would be by the next day to complete the transaction . Angelo sent me the credit application so I could fill it out on-line, and made sure the vehicle was ready when I stopped by the next day. I met with Taylor Cox in the Finance Department, who went over all the documents with me. By the time I signed everything, I was able to drive off with my new Jeep Grand Cherokee as a satisfied customer.
