Do not take your vehicle to these people. They charged me $100 to adjust one knuckle on the front of my car. I had asked them to check some indicator lights that were on so they removed my Trac control module and the 2 relay/fuse box covers. I call them once I realize the Trac control module is missing and the woman says its sitting in the window at the shop. I go pick it up and the next day I realize the relay/ fuse box covers under the hood are missing. Again I call them and send a message on their Facebook page. Im yet to hear back from them. Guess I should have known better than to do business with people who have an open end carport as their shop. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH THIS PLACE.

This shop is within spitting distance of my house, and I called to ask what they would charge me to do the ball joints on the drivers side of my truck. He quoted me a fraction of the price that the amoral, gold digging criminals at Certified Automotive in Taylors charged me to do the passengers side, and was friendly and fast about doing it. On previous occasions, he diagnosed a problem I was having with another car, and he even fixed a loose cable that was causing problems with my gas pedal and didn’t charge me. I believe in paying someone who works hard and provides a good service, so I was impressed by his kindness. Thanks Shawn!

Sean/Shawn (However you spell his name) was EXCELLENT! He got my car done in amazing timing and was kind the entire time! Even fixed my wiring on my battery for free! Most people would just do the job they are assigned and thats it! Everything was reasonable and I will def be going back! Do not spend a dime here took my brother charger to get a alignment got in the car the entire steering wheel was sitting to the right side and went right back and the owner said take it to good year i don’t want to redo it and handed the 40$ back and walked off don’t spend another black dollar here

I took my truck to Affordable Auto Repair and told Shawn that I had a shake while driving. I told him that I had been to 3 other garages and the sold me brakes, wheel bearing and tie rods. needless to say I still had shaking. Shawn stopped what he was doing and took my truck for a test drive. He comes back and says that the shake is either a problem in transmission or drive shaft. He puts my truck on lift and shows me that the driveshaft was missing a bolt and that the other 3 were loose. he said he needed to replace both u-joints and balance the shaft. 45 mins later and a $120.00 my truck was fixed properly!!!!! Highly recommend Shawn at Affordable Auto Repair!!! Fast, friendly, and very polite. Will never take my cars anywhere else!!!!!

Told me my 02 sensors were rusted on and I needed to have a muffler shop use torches to loosen bolts ..took vehicle to Garretts muffler shop today and the guy showed me where he replace the one in the front and the other three had NO rust whatsoever...his diagnosis was also wrong. He stated it was my coil packs causing the problems and it would cost aroung 1000 bucks or so. I will give the benefit of the doubt ..he said its best to wait until check engine ligjt come on so computer can read the code ..once that happen ..his 40 dollar diagnosis fee was wrong .Turned out to be the 02 sensors. I had a alignment done price was ok however when i called to state an issue about my car swerving off the road 30 seconds after i left the shop he began to yell through the phone “your tires are balled”, over all he was rude. When discussing other services to be done i was intrupted and told he was going for lunch. Cheap price horrible customer service.

I went there to have my breaks done. Well I had all the hardware and breaks already purchased. He ended up just putting the old springs back in the drum brakes and never touched the new spring pack I had. Well that is a big no no because of course two of the old springs popped while I was driving. I could have been killed because of such negligence.
