We spoke to a number of kitchen remodeling companies before selecting Palmetto Granite. Palmetto Granite was able to do the entire job which included tear out, sink installation, new quartzite countertop, new tile backsplash and even some carpentry on the existing kitchen cabinets. They completed the entire job in two days. Chuck was very thorough in his initial measurements and even advised us on some styling options to which we agreed. Everything went in smoothly and fit perfectly. Chucks pricing for the entire job was very reasonable which allowed us to upgrade from granite to quartzite. We recommend Palmetto Granite highly and will use them again.

We have a GREAT experience with Palmetto Granite & Design of Spartanburg. Stopped by several times and looked and looked. It was very hard to decide. My horrible experience with this company happened 6 yrs ago. I posted a review at the time but no longer see it. So I though I would update it! They dont come much worse than this company! They do not hire experienced installers so if you use them you need to be on your toes checking behind them, watching them and measuring for proper fit! There are many other reputable and competitively priced granite fabricators to choose from in our area! I could go on and on but bottom line you should definitely steer clear of this company!

They are truly the most unprofessional company that I have ever done business with. They lie and dont care. THEY NEVER SEAL their granite or anything and do not let you know. They use a lower level product and just overall are crooks. If I could give them a -☆ I would!! Beware.

Terrible company to deal with! I have tried since middle of September 2019 to get a vanity top for house. It is now 03/03/20..... Called office many times and promised call back... Never called back. 5 months later I have given up and waiting for them to return my sink. Stay away from this company!

I priced four different granite places and was recommended by a friend to call Chuck. Yes like some reviewers have said, it’s hard to get him sometimes because he stays busy, but he will get back with you. I gave him my rough measurements which I measured and he gave me an estimate on the price per each level of granite. He told my wife to go pick out what we wanted, send a pic and then he would get an actual price. He gave me a GREAT deal on my countertops!! They then came out to measure and came to install all within a week. They were super nice people to deal with and I highly recommend giving Chuck and his team a chance at doing your granite!!

I just built a new home. Palmetto Granite told the builder they would deliver on Friday, they showed up on Wed unannounced. The hardwood floors were just put down and had not been covered up. It had been raining. They backed their truck up to the front door, and got stuck. They got out of the truck and carried the granite in my house on the uncovered floors tracking MUD all through my house. They had granite for both baths, a laundry room and kitchen. They brought a 50/50 sink which was wrong. They wanted to cut holes in the granite to make it work, and force me to buy a fixture that would cover their mistake. My builder had to argue with them on the mud, bringing the wrong sinks and just a hassle with them in general. The electricians were there that day and witnessed all the activity. The granite that I picked from their lot was not the granite that I got. I took pictures of what I ordered, and it is very different. I have never been so dissatisfied with a company!!! All they wanted was their money and didnt want to make anything good. There was so much mud on my hardwoods, I had to get on my hands and knees and take a micro fiber towel to get it up, otherwise it would just grind all the grit across it.I would NOT let these people do anything in my house!!!BAD BUSINESS********

My unfortunate incident with Palmetto Granite and Design started and ended with trying to get an estimate at our new custom home. Despite the rude and unprofessional way the owner, Mr Start answered and initiated our conversation I decided to give him a chance to provide us with an estimate on a significant amount of work. I assumed he was having a bad day and gave him a second chance. I called him on 23 Aug and made an appt for 25 August in the afternoon. We confirmed contact information, date, time and location. Needless to say after waiting more than 20 min for him at appointed time and location he didnt show up. I called to check on his location. Apparently he forgot the appointment and was not apologetic in the least nor did he offer an alternate day/time to reschedule- in fact he hung up on me in the middle of the discussion. Business must be doing well so Mr. Start felt he didnt need to be either polite or apologetic and could pass up a large prospective job. There are many other quality places to shop for Granite so pass this place by... STAY AWAY unless you are prepared to deal with a rude, unprofessional company and sales staff.

We researched many granite companies in the upstate area and Palmetto Granite & Design was the best choice! Chuck Stark handled us personally and gave us a SUPER DEAL on our countertops. We loved his personality and expertise. They were able to schedule and DELIVER to us within a week of our purchase. We were also impressed with the on the spot revisions that his team made. We changed our mind about our countertop length and they were able to cut the countertop and make it look FABULOUS on the spot. Our hardwood flooring was new and they had very little cleanup because they were on top of what they were doing. They were on time and they worked really fast! We strongly recommend Palmetto Granite & Design for all ofyour granite needs!

When I called to make an appointment, the gentleman that answered the phone told me we dont just come out and measure, but if you have the measurements (from anothers companys time and estimate of course), then I could just give you a quote. If they dont want the business, then I will gladly go elsewhere! Dont waste your time with them!

They do not know how to install granite in corners properly. My granite now has dropped over an inch from its original location due to improper leveling and installation.
