I absolutely love this place. I had both of my prom dresses altered here when they were in their previous location and they were super nice, very fast, and the dresses looked amazing. When I needed a bridesmaid dress shortened and altered, I immediately made an appointment here. The women are so great, and the lady that helped me had great suggestions for making the dress more comfortable. Definitely the place to go for any dress type alterations you need!

My daughters flower girl dress was $195 to alter. It was hemmed, the bodice taken in at the waist, and the shoulders shortened slightly. The alterations were more expensive than the dress and all of the accessories and shoes put together. I give 3 stars because the work that was done was done well. The price though is a no-go for me. Now that price on a 1k dress may be a different story but for the average person it feels a bit hefty.

Amazing doesnt quite cover it! Got my wedding dress altered here. Timely, easy to work with, lovely little space to try on and have friends/family sit and wait. Great cost too! She made sure my dress was perfect at each stage of the process. Definitely recommend.

I needed a floor length formal gown altered for my daughter within 6 days. I called and they were able to get us in the following day for a fitting. Kandi took her time at the fitting to ensure that we were happy with how the dress flowed when she walked. Within less than a week the dress was altered and pressed. We tried it on again at pick up and it was perfect! We were thrilled with the tailoring and the timing.

My dress was a very difficult dress to alter and they were so friendly. It was rather expensive, which is figured (even tho I had 20% off from upstairs at Bridal Collections). When I got to the day to pick up my dress, the dress did not seem as tight as it had been when I tried it all on during alterations (I had also gained a little weight, so this confused me). Throughout the day, the extra boning they added, popped out and was poking me under my dress. It had not been fully sewn in and it made the top of my dress buckle out weirdly (almost exposing my breasts). These were not issues when I tried the dress on, but as I wore it throughout the day. Overall I was happy, but there were minor things I think they should have not left undone when I paid almost 800 in alterations. I tried it on, but these problems were not apparent until my wedding day. They are good at what they do but I felt like my dress could have used a little bit more time on that area to make sure I didnt have issues all day. I would recommend them to anyone who has a beautiful dress with lots of applique but definitely try your dress on many many times and be very thorough when you are inspecting it before taking it home.

My experience with Amazing Alterations was far from amazing. The employees lack communication skills and ALL 4 of the dresses we had done were still too long after they were hemmed. I won’t do business with them again.

I brought in a bridesmaid dress that I had ordered online and turned out to be very large on top. I was able to come in, drop off my dress and pick it up 2 weeks later, fitting perfectly and all ready to go! The alteration cost me around $65 which I found to be acceptable given the turn around and easiness of the interaction itself. Will recommend to everyone I know!

I took my wedding gown to Amazing Alterations after a less than desirable experience with another alteration shop in Seattle. I cannot say enough about Amazing Alterations, they saved my wedding dress by helping me with my vision to have straps added to a strapless dress. I always knew my wedding gown would have straps but I ended up selecting a strapless dress that I would add straps to. I wanted tulle straps that looked like they belonged. The girl that helped me (I wish I remembered her name) took the time to listen to my vision and created perfection all on her own. Amazing Alterations created the most beautiful straps imaginable, even more beautiful than I could have pictured. I told them what I wanted and they delivered. The best money I spent on our wedding.

They did an okay job with my dress. It was super expensive to get it altered even after the discount from buying it upstairs. The actual fitting was super hot and uncomfortable. In their defense, I couldnt do a final try on but after 2 fittings it still didnt fit right. It kept falling and exposing too much of my chest. Then the best part was the dress eventually stabbed me in the back to where it was so painful I couldnt wear it for my whole reception. I would look elsewhere.

They are hands down the best in spokane. They have done two dresses for me and i couldnt have been more satisfied. Very nice and excellent work. I will be being in another gown next week :)

I was referred here by a friend who has worked with them for years. Unfortunately my experience was not stellar. Recently the prices have increased dramatically ($440) when I was expecting ($200-250). But I paid it all upfront and was very clear about the way I wanted the dress altered. I asked for it to be hemmed from bottom up and not at the waist, due to not wanting extra fullness. I stood for an hr while they pinned and at my second fitting was told they decided not to do this because it would take too much time (like theyd never worked with a horsehair hemline before?) and hemmed at the waist...assuring me this was best. The cups hadnt been added by the second fitting and still so much work needed to be done.I was told the dress would be ready for pickup anytime after 2pm. I showed up at 2:45 and waited while things were still being fixed. I luckily wasnt in a hurry because once I tried the dress on there was an extra 6 of tulle hanging out of the bottom! After another hr of standing and waiting for it to be cut off, I noticed the lining dragging out the back but thought it would be fine. Once I was home and had time to think I realized the permanent bustle still needed to be raised another 8-10 for it to not show out the back! They didnt steam or press my dress and said it would be an extra $100 dollars! Lucky my friend worked in minor alterations for 10yrs and is able to steam my dress, fix loose beads she found, tack down the layers so they arent so poofy, and bring up the bustle. For the amount of money I was charged the service felt chaotic and it was hard to trust this place knew what they were doing. Obviously they do though, theyre connected to Bridal Collections. I just think they are under staffed and over booked. They did, however, take out 2 of boning and added interfacing so the shape and structure are more comfortable and secure. And they werent rude. So thats the 2 stars. Unfortunately, I wont be recommending them to any future brides I talk to though. Considering they did things I asked them not to do and didnt call to confirm it beforehand. For half the price of my dress I expected much more.

I had such an amazing experience here. The owner is incredibly sweet, not only did she do a fantastic job on my dress for a great price, but it was done quickly. I couldnt be happier, Ill definitely be going back next time I need something altered!!

I was referred by my friend to go toAmazing Alterations. We had the same exact bridesmaids dress. We both just wanted it hemmed. My friend was told it would be $35, I was told it would be $55. After I had brought it to the owners attention she said Well she just got lucky that it was rang in for the wrong price and would not give me the same price for the same exact alteration. After I made a stink about it (which I hate being that person but I didnt think that was fair) she said well just give her 20% off which I appreciated, but I feel as a business owner I would have just honored it in the first place.P.S. Shelby, who was working the front desk deserves 5 stars though she was so friendly and tried what she could!!!!

Only place I go in Spokane for alterations. Originally went for a bridesmaids dress, them for my own wedding dress. Very friendly & helpful staff who really take pride in their work.

These people are amazing. They took my moms wedding dress and helped alter it to fit me. It looks so beautiful. They listen and really work to make it as envisioned.

I cold called AA not knowing they do only bridal & formal. I needed a hem done on a rush for an impromptu trip. Emily, the sweetheart who answered the phone said to come on in and theyd check it out. They took it, did a beautiful job, and had it back to me in three days. They were fantastic! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for alterations. Shout out to Emily!! Thank you! :)

OMG!!!! Ive never had to use a seamstress before until I got this gown for a masqurade ball. Its ruffles were trying to eat me. They took one look and said hand it over. When they handed it back I wanted to cry happy tears. It went from being a dress that I didnt want to even consider wearing to the gown I cant wait to wear again and again. These ladies were my fairy godmothers for my magical ball!

They did amazing work on my dress. The ladies didnt make me feel uncomfortable, made sure I was happy with what I wanted and worked as fast as possible during my fitting!

When I first came in to inquire about an appointment and pricing and explained what I needed done to my dress, I was told it would be almost 1/2 of what I ended up being charged. My dress turned out excellent, but I felt a little deceived.

I took my wedding gown to Kandi, the owner to have the skirt hemmed, the shoulders taken up and a bustle put in. I am short and large busted, so it did require a small amount of altering to the bodice. Kandi removed the boning from the bodice of the gown, which altered the fit poorly and resulted in my needing to buy different lingere last minute. She was unpleasant to rude during both of my fittings, unfortunately by the time my dress was returned to me I didnt have another option to have it repaired by another tailor/ seamstress. My dress looked OK, but the experience overall was negative. There are several other options in Spokane, I strongly recommend you choose one of them.
