Well yes, maybe the name should be daylight donuts and Sushi, and Korean. But whatever you want to call it, you need to drop by for donuts in the morning, and Sushi and Beef bowel later for dinner. The fried dumplings were amazing as well, so good you guys! Thank you, we cant wait to come back 😀

What a unique little place!I tried the mango bubble tea and a blueberry cake donut and they were both good!Except for the fact that not all of the boba were completely cooked… there were quite a few hard chunks and that made me sad. I arrived not too long after opening but still you would expect the food to be ready when they are open, right?The tea itself was good though

Delicious donuts!! The glaze is classic. Maple is amazing! Oreo chocolate cake, with chocolate frosting covered in Oreo is great. 👌 cinnamon sugar so sweet! so many donut choices- something for everyone! They serve Muletown Roasters Coffee! The atmosphere inside is nice and open. Good seating options and a play area for kids.

Dont let the name fool you. Although there were still people pulling up for donuts at 3pm (they must be good, bit sold out when we visited that afternoon) the Korean dishes and sushi we had was outstanding.Super friendly staff (Im guessing all family), we cant wait to go back and maybe even check out some of those donuts that at least 4people came in for in a late afternoon Sunday run.

I have always come here for donuts and now that they are serving sushi… I wanted to try that out too. Their sushi is amazing! Must try! And always wonderful employees.

Donuts have always been good but we recently tried their sushi for dinner and I am so glad we did. So excited to have a delicious sushi option on this side of town. Plus they are incredibly friendly!

This was our first time here, and I can not express how much we loved it. I know getting sushi at a donut place is a little obscure, but some of the best sushi I have had in a long time. The wife loved her BBQ beef bowl and the donuts here are also amazing.

I had been a regular for over three years getting a dozen mixed every Friday . Fantastic donuts, friendly folks, always a good selection. Suddenly a few months ago things changed. Asked about the nice gentleman that was always there. Was told he sold the store Selection kept getting smaller, always out of items. One day there were only 10 donuts left at ten thirty, they are open till four. Went by today about three. As I walked in could see the case was empty. Guy cleaning up, owner I presume, yelled out no donuts and laughed. Before you can sell a product you have to have a product. Never laugh at a customer. Guess I will take my business elsewhere!

Yes it says chain in the Google Maps summary of the place. But it doesn’t feel like that. It’s run by a lovely Korean family and they have created a lovely place to visit. The coffee is delicious (I get it almost every morning), the donuts are tasty, and I adore the way they have blended Korean and southern styles with the decor.

Donuts are delicious! Fluffy on the inside with a crisp bite on the outside. You can taste the difference between this and chain places. My only critique is the donuts are on the small size.

Great food and smiling friendly service. Too bad the hours are limited or would go more often. Korean food is authentic and delicious. Doughnuts and coffee ☕ are very good too. Small group runs it so its got a good vibe. Much friendlier than Dunkin too.

My first time here. Watched a few transactions. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Guy asked for chocolate cream filled. They did not have on shelf so what did the staff do. Not say youre out of luck, but went to the back and ask another staff member to make 1 for him thats pretty awesome. Good going Daylight donuts.

Delicious Korean bowls and the donuts never disappoint! If you are having a business meeting this is a great spot to meet versus trying to snag a table at the crowded coffee shop. It’s very clean and the staff here was excellent. They have WiFi and a super cute area for kids to play.

Donuts were super fresh, and you could tell they were made within a couple of hours. Good selection. Staff is warm, inviting, and friendly. The decor is modern but relaxed and the atmosphere is calm and quiet (great for mornings!).

Love this place! These are the best donuts we have ever had. The coffee is excellent too. Always friendly staff and their point system gets you free items fast. Have had there lunch plates which are very good too. Reasonable prices.

A very nice donut shop with cute decor. A play area for the kids. The donuts are way better than any other around. This place is also spotless. The owners take great care of it and give service with a smile. It’s a real gem.

LOVE this place! They have a cute little area for the children to play and entertain while you enjoy some of their yummy coffee and donuts. Dont forget to try their bagels, which are handmade by the owner everyday. The lunch they offer is also wonderful. No complaints and they deserve all five stars.

I LOVE this place. My girls love it too! The coffee is DELICIOUS!!! And the donuts are divine. This has become a staple in our home. The shop itself is just the cutest thing youve ever seen too.

The yeast donuts are fantastic, you dont feel disgusting after eating one. The custard filled are my favorite.

Love this place! The owners are so friendly and accommodating, and the bagels... The bagels! Im a New Yorker living in the South, and Ive been bumming that theres nowhere to get a good bagel around here. Scratch that, because this is the place! They make them fresh in-house every morning, and I cant recommend them enough. I havent tried the Korean lunch yet, but my wife loves their kimchi. Oh, and its kid-friendly - they have a little play area with toys and things. All-around great shop!

Excellent donuts, it makes me laugh so hard to think people even go to the dunkin donuts just across the street 🤦‍♂️ TRY THE FRIED RICE AT THIS PLACE IT IS MY GO-TO FOR LUNCH AND IS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The people there are also very friendly and genuinely kind. I am always happy everytime I leave and have a smile on my face!

Donuts were a big hit with the kids, not so much for us parents. We couldnt use the coupon that brought us there--it was only for glazed donuts. Cinnamon twists were delicious. REALLY wanted to try a pig in a blanket once we realized they were there, but they all had cheese inside the sausage. No sale for me, but my daughter tried one and couldnt finish it--the cheese ruined it for her. Lots of potential here, though.

This is the BEST donut place in town. Went with a friend and the atmosphere is inviting, NOT DIRTY, great staff and prices. It is family-owned and his wife decorated the restaurant herself. LOVE their gelato...made there as well as donuts. So happy to see this on our side of town and hope they continue knocking it out of the ballpark! !!

This place is absolutely amazing. If you want quality donuts or now a Korean Cup Bop for lunch! Make sure you come here. My wife and I tried all three today and were very impressed.

Donuts are wonderful! Atmosphere is great! Service is top of the line! Always a smile! But their coffee option... lacking. For just brewed coffee, its good but I want a latte with that amazing donut! If they get an espresso machine and a barista I will never...I mean NEVER have to go to Dunkin Donuts again.

Went there for new KOREAN MENU lunch. SO hoping it would be good. SAD. It is a weak excuse for Korean food. SO DRY. $7.99 got a microwave bowl like Cafe Steamers in the frozen food section of market. I cup dry rice, about 3 oz dry shaved beef with sesame sees, 3 small piece of broccoli, 3 hot green peppers, 3 slices of radish, lettuce that would fill the palm of my hand.. All so very very DRY. Barely any flavor. Additional sauce on side was extra extra hot, mild (also very very hot) and some kind of pinkish mayo? Certainly not worth $7.99 Disappointing.

Finally a place where you can get FRESH donuts!!!!! The atmosphere is very clean, modern and relaxing. We had apple fritters, and Bavarian cream. The taste was wonderful! What a difference between store bought and these. I seriously dont know what these other comments are saying about the apple fritters. I think people will find anything to complain about, hahaha they were fine. Go try it out!

My husband did a father daughter date with our toddler and they only had wonderful things to stay about this shop. Its a great addition to the Spring Hill area. Coffee is excellent, great donut selection, pretty design and clean. We will be coming back for more!

You HAVE to try the Authentic Korean dishes here, especially the BBQ Beef (Bulgogi) Bowl. Daylight is owned by a local Korean family as well, and the staff are always incredibly nice. The donuts and coffee are always great as well. Could not reccomended more

My son and I watched here almost every Friday morning. The donut selection is wide with lots of flavors and toppings. The muletown coffee is good. The only suggestion I have is for them to come up with a way to keep the donuts warm. The donuts are fresh made each morning, but are cool by the time I order them.

After tasting Daylight donuts, I literally had to spit out my local Dunkin Donuts donut. It felt like chalk. You cant even compare the two. Its like comparing authentic Mexican food to Taco Bell. Having lived in Europe for a while, I have a pretty high standard of how gelato should taste. I LOVED it! I had salted caramel with nuts, and it was divine.Best way to eat the donuts in my opinion, esp. the glazed, is to warm it up in the microwave they provide. It just melts in your mouth! Friendly staff, great with the kids, and all in all a very pleasant experience!!

Great place. you wont be disappointed with anything here. new dunkin donuts being opened down the street....other than the traffic, i still think Daylight will be fine. its a mom and pop type feel and taste.

I have a special place in my heart for this place. The donuts are amazing and so is the mule town coffee. Wonderful staff and very friendly. Hope they are around for a long time.

Staff is great. Best part is the Mule Town coffee. Donuts were okay, nothing amazing. We got apple fritters, not really what I am use to, with apple chunks in them. These were flat and crispy all the way through. Donuts seemed a little dry.

This is a slightly different experience than your typical Dunkin or KrispyKreme and youll notice it the moment you walk in the door. The layout is open and relaxing, with more of a comfortable lounge back feel than a restaurant approach, and the lighting is bright and warming. Not to be corny but walking in is like walking into daylight.The family that runs this location is very friendly and accommodating. When they first opened, they would talk to me every time I went in, asking how I liked the location, if I liked the variety they had, what I think they could improve, and just general conversation. Most of the time, when I visit another donut shop I feel like I need to order and move out quick, but the staff here are very personable.They have a solid variety of donuts made fresh daily on location, so they are not trucked in, and they are willing to make you something if they dont have it on the shelf. For example, Im a big fan of lemon filled donuts, and one of the last times I went in they only had raspberry and creme filled. Instead of leaving it at that, they offered to go out back and fill a fresh one with lemon for me. You cant get that at DD or KK. Their cinnamon/coffee rolls are huge, and most times they are perfect, though I have had them a bit too cinnamon-y before. They have the more dense cake donuts, and they have the lighter yeast donuts so everyone has options, and where my kids will most times just eat the frosting off other ones we buy, they actually eat the entire donut when we buy from Daylight.Additionally, they carry Mule Town coffee, which has a nice, smooth dark roast which I prefer over the other coffee options nearby.I havent tried the drive-through as I prefer the experience of going in and chatting with the staff when I order.The only negative with them right now is their location, and thats not an operational issue with the store or the people there. While Spring Hill is working out their infrastructure issues, especially along this stretch of Port Royal Rd, this location is at the mercy of how the city decides to handle the intersection at this location, which has changed 3 or 4 times since this store opened.If you havent been here before, definitely swing in and give them a shot. I think it will be worth your experience.

Try the cream filled chocolate donut. Crispy on the outside delicious on the inside. Perfect amount of sweetness. Nitro cold brew is spot on without needing any doctoring. Delicious gelato as well. We will be boycotting any other donut shop that opens up down the road.

Asked the staff what his favorite doughnuts were. He said the glazed and sour cream. I can see why. The glazed doughnut is sensationally light and delicious, while the sourcream was a perfect blend of sweet and sour.

Staff seemed okay, doughnuts were... Okay, location is horrible. However the complex itself is a good place to go skate, thats pretty much all its good for. I would just wait until the Dunkin Doughnuts opens up down the street. At least the service and good will be better.
