Sydnni has done four of my piercings, and Miguel has done all of my other piercings. Both are extremely nice and professional! They both were able to calm my nerves and make me feel at ease every time I come in! Their updated jewelry is not only cute but also affordable, I’ve gotten several 14k Gold pieces and i’m in love with all of them!

I have been to ATC many times for tattoos in the past. This was the first time for piercings. Miguel was great to say the least. Anything else I want pierced he is my guy. Professional and such a calming energy about him. Best piercer all around! Highly recommended

I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and the information they gave me since it was my first piercing ever. I brought my kids along so they could watch the process. I could do without foul language in front of my kids but I assumed its normal in tattoo shops. I watched as the receptionist cleaned. Her attire couldve been more professional but again, it was a tattoo shop so that may be normal.

I have 13 piercings overall and have gotten most of them (ear, body and nose) done here and have always had great experiences. I was only about 16 my first time coming here with a parent and was super nervous, but everyone involved in the process was super nice and educated me on everything going in. Ive come here for both piercings and help with aftercare several times over the past 5 years and have always experienced a super professional and clean environment. One of my last visits was for a couple of body piercings which Sydnni made me feel super comfortable for, despite how nervous I was for them. Unfortunately, Ive moved a few hours away and still havent found a shop I love as much as this one.

After calling to inquire as to whether or not my daughter (a minor) would have to have her nose re-pierced after having her jewelry out for a certain length of time, the young lady that answered the phone responded yes. My next question was It has been since February since she has had it pierced, there, would I still need to bring in her birth certificate? (standard practice for a parent bringing in a minor). The young lady responded with We need the original copy and a parents ID. Well, that would have been feasible, had hurricane Harvey not ate the birth certificate and I had to get a certified copy. I explained this to her and was told those were the rules. WTH?! Please explain to me why I was able to bring my daughter in, in February (no issue) but the hurricane was in 2017 and why a certified copy of her birth certificate is not acceptable, NOW??

Got a piercing by Sydnni and she did an awesome job. Was my first non ear piercing and she made it not so scary. Had a great experience and will be back!

Ian was a fantastic artist with a magnificent portfolio who showed me what a good tattoo looks like. He even paid food for my food while I was hungry on the chair! He was great, he has a very steady hand and he is great to joke around with. The equipment was completely clean, the pigment he used is all vegan friendly, he is doing an amazing job.

I have to change my review to relate to my most recent experience with this place. I thought I had found an artist that I really liked.. but then not only was it overpriced for the quality of work I got ruining a piece that should have been stunning turned out to be ok... and then between 2 pieces it took 4 visits and over $1,400!!! I was stuck waiting around for 2-3 hours almost every visit just waiting for the artist to show up for our appointment.The first appointment I had scheduled almost a month out with a deposit and with what we wanted. The artist didnt even start designing the tattoos until the day we got there for them which we waited almost 5 hours to even get started on ink. Then the artist not only left the tattoo partly finished but I had to argue with him to even get it as far as I did because his eyes were better trained than mine on how it will heal. He wanted to leave it with even less ink than it ended up with.The artist mentioned that his wrist was acting up due to medical issues and he said that would cause him to go slower. But I dont feel like I should have to pay the excessive amount that I did for what I got due to his problems. I will have to find another artist and pay even more to have the tattoo finished.The other tattoo was supposed to be a colorful alice in wonderland tattoo, but due to the artists discretion he added extra outlining in the hair making the tattoo have to basically be black and white which is the opposite of what we wanted. We had to beg to get him to even add the color in the design (minus the words) just to even have it have some color in the hatters hat. This tattoo came out much better, but its not what we wanted.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED MIGUEL! I am severely allergic to anything but titanium. Miguel kept his titanium and sterling jewelry separate. He even gave me a few pointers of people trying to scam me about jewelry! I called about an hour before & he was very kind and let me make an appointment. (I got my nose pierced)100% clean! 100% mask! 100% recommend!I absolutely loved the place, people, and atmosphere.Everyone was very kind!! Got my eyebrow pierced here almost a year ago, it never healed and i recently found out it was because the piercer, tank, went through/against a vein. i was also told i had a metal allergy and that’s why it wasn’t healing but after tests, that’s not why it wasn’t healing. got my nose pierced years ago and that was fine, but this caused a lot of unnecessary pain.

I’ve had 1 tattoo and 3 piercings done here and had a lovely experience . It’s pricey but worth it, professional and clean all around ! :) will be back

I came into the shop 3 weeks ago and set up an appointment with Ryan. Since then we have been communication just about as a distant friends would, between the one word responses and the I’m still drawing the picture up after 2 weeks is ridiculous! Not to mention I left a $80 deposit to set an appointment for Wednesday 2 weeks ago, not wait for him to find the time to figure things out. I’m out of town for work won’t be back for a while now. I would like to have my deposit mailed to my address because of you guys not holding up your end of the bargain.

Called and call went to automated message stating line not in service. I took an Uber since the website says walk-in welcome. I arrived and asked for service a white woman stated they don’t do walkins that I should of called . No sorry or anything, just walked away.

Went in, explained how i had the piercing i was getting before, showed her pictures of what it looked like, and where it was in my nose. I wanted a specific size jewelry for the look i was trying to achieve. She made it happen. Very quick and thorough. Got a piece done by mike, great service. During the time i got the tattoo, he had to go and help other customers due to the fact of shop being understaffed but, in the moment of working with me. he held a great deal of diligence and focus. Great artist and worked with me to a great piece that i wanted.

A friend and I walked in, not knowing exactly what we wanted. Our piercer was incredibly kind and patient, consulting us on what would/wouldn’t look good. The piercings were fast and mostly painless and they look and feel great! Great atmosphere and great shop!

I was amazed at how unprofessional the “employees” were. My wife and I walk in on time for our appointment, and the shop is empty. Minutes later, 3 individuals stroll in. We tell them we have an appointment, hand in our IDs to be scanned, and start filling out paperwork. Midway between one employee explaining the jewelry choices to us, another employee sitting at a station a few feet away yells to the lady helping us, “walk next door and get us a food menu.” She immediately stops helping us and walks to the bar next door. We then sit there for 10 minutes while they talk about brisket/food choices. They acted like we weren’t even there. We told them we were going to take our business elsewhere and they didn’t say a word, just stared at us as we left.

Dro is the best! He is so much fun to be around and keeps your mind off of the tattoo pain by keeping a fun conversation going. He has done both of my tattoos, as other tattoos on my friends and his tattoos always come out PERFECT! I recommend this place 100% I refuse to go anywhere but here to get a tattoo/piercing. ❤️

The initial piercing of my ear was fine, and everything was sterile, but the earrings they have to choose from are not friendly for new piercings; they are too short, leaving no room to push back and forth to easily clean. The backings of the piercing wasnt flat, it was like a normal earring stud and it just made it super uncomfortable every time I touched it even though my ear wasnt hurting as much. I got my piercing in July and just changed the piercing to something longer so I could clean it better.I forget who pierced me, but he kind of skimmed over the process care, so it was a good thing I was well prepared for what I needed to do.Over all the whole thing makes me seriously mad that I went though so much pain all because the piercing wasnt long enough. I feel like they should have more options for helix piercings.This longer piercing made the pain go away instantly and I know my cleaning process will be easier from now on.

I went to see Miguel for my nose piercing and even though I have had multiple piercings but I was still nervous about my face piercing. He was more than great!! Very gentle and fast and he was done before I even realized it! He told me all done and I thought I was waiting on the nose ring to be put in. I’ll definitely recommend this place to other people! And will definitely go back for my other piercing and tattoo needs!

Got my tongue & septum pierced here, not sure of the piercers name but he was so nice & amazing. both piercings are healed now and i had no issues with them at all!

Walked in, told (I think his name was McGill) that I wanted a nostril piercing, and we got right to it. I was really nervous but he did a great job easing my nerves and answering all my questions. I felt really safe in the back piercing room and with his help. It barely even hurt. I would definitely come back for another piercing.

I will start by saying that many tattoo parlors are intimidating and feel almost hostile: when you first walk into them. That is a combination of the environment they create and the Rockstar attitude they exhibit when you walk in. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE! This place is awesome!I took my 18 year old twins in for their first tattoos, my wife had a rose tat that was refreshed after 30 years and added butterflies, I had a full outer forearm piece (elbow to wrist) done. My wife also had her tragus pierced and the young lady that did it was nice, fast and efficient. We had three different tattoo artists, Tank, Pedro and Ian do the work and all three are fantastic. For the quality, cleanliness and professionalism, you cant go wrong coming here for all your body modification work.I cant say one was better than the other. They all do have different styles and strengths. The important thing is to have a clear idea what you are putting on your body FOREVER, and how you want it to look. Then, ask to see each of the artists work. None of them hesitated to show us their artwork and tattoo pieces (most on-line/Instagram) and I am sure they wouldnt be butt hurt if you went with one over the other for specific reasons. They are there to help you design and suggest what will look and work best for the piece you want to do. LISTEN TO THEM! Also, understand that getting a tattoo is not something you should be timid about. Trying to go too small or safe for a first tat will only lead to disappointment. They will go as small as you ask, but if your artist says it should be at least so big for it to look good and have the definition/detail you want, follow their advice. Small tattoos have small detail and are best reserved for the basic cross, heart of peace sign that from a distance often just look like another freckle of mole. Be bold and really be proud to show the canvas you take everywhere with you (your skin). Last but not least, skin is not paper, it will not look exactly like your computer print out when done (but really close!).ALSO, make sure you understand how much they charge per hour, and ABOUT how long your piece will take. My son had a beautiful full moon done with intricate shading and detail. It was done much sooner than expected and cost less than the original quote (my son has good skin for taking up ink apparently). My piece was much larger but not as intricate (significant amount of black lettering and a matching symbol) but the end product was super clean with sharp, clear lines. It also took about an hour longer than estimated and cost more than originally quoted (I guess my old guy weathered leather takes more time to work on. LOL). That is the nature of the service, they can only give you and idea and there are factors that go into changing time and money outcomes. Understanding this will make your experience A LOT better! BE FLEXIBLE!!!Last but not least. Remember these guys all rent their space from the owner and part of the fee goes to the house. It is courteous to tip a little extra at the end for the artist directly. All of the ink, needles, equipment, etc. has to come out of the artists cut. You are paying for the artwork and skill of the tattoo artist. I add at least $20 extra to cover the supplies that go into putting the ink in my skin, which Tank just upfront called a tip (hes hilarious and knows something about everything). I call it a courtesy.Everyone there was great to deal with, up front and honest, so if you have a bad experience, I would suggest you look in the mirror before pointing fingers. Ours was not only the family getting inked together, but a lot of fun as well.Thank you AMERICAN TATTOO for a great experience that our family will remember forever, both on the skin and in the mind!

I got my very first tattoo done here! It was a great experience and my tattoo artist Tank did a very great job at giving me the tattoo that I wanted. My design was hard because he had to make a sketch out of a picture of a mold but he was very nice in doing that for me and was very helpful through the experience. I was so nervous at first but the atmosphere of the shop helped calm my nerves as the artist and staff were great also. I definitely will go back when I get a second tattoo!

I have suffered from migraines for years! Just this weekend past I was in urgent care and ended up transported to the hospital to treat my migraine! It was unimaginable painful. After a CT scan, MRI, blood work and a 3 day stay, I was sent home with “we found nothing” 😥 the migraine still existed. I did some research hearing about the Tragus piercing relieving migraines and as a last resort I tried it today. OMG!!! Immediate relief! Unbelievable! If you are experiencing migraines, you MUST see Miguel! He is very experienced and knows exactly where the pressure point is to relieve your migraine!!!!! This was by far the BEST thing I’ve ever done to fix my migraines. Do it!!!!!!!

I took my daughter here to get her ears pierced and they did a great job. The piercer made sure to explain everything to me ahead of time gave me the cleaning solution And made sure my daughter was not nervous. The place was clean and not plastered with scary images that might have made my daughter anxious. The piercer was very patient and talked her through it and everything went really great!

Miguel was GREAT. Brought my 5 yo daughter in to get her ears pierced and he was so patient. She got one done and then wouldn’t do the other so we had to come back a second day. I was so appreciative of the people and cleanliness...but especially the patience. Would recommend to anyone.

Went here for a nose piercing about 3 or 4 months ago and the piercer ignored the fact that I had told him that the positioning of the dot he marked on my nose looks a little high (because I eventually wanted to put a hoop in it without it looking awkward and I had told him this beforehand). Fast forward to now I’m having to get it re-pierced because it was in the wrong spot and I can’t wear a hoop. Not only did it happen to me but it happened to my sister and a coworker of mine. That’s a waste of $60 (almost $70) in my opinion.

We had such a great experience tonight! I brought my daughter in to get her ears pierced. They were prompt in greeting us, answered all my questions/concerns and took care of us quickly. The gentleman who pierced my daughter (I forget his name but he’s the guy with the gauges!) was extremely patient and soft spoken with my girl. He took the time to really make sure her earrings were going to be even and perfect! He talked to her about caring for them properly and sent us with a nice kit for aftercare. It was worth every penny and I’ll be back for future services. Thanks so much for the professional service!

I went in as a walk-in on a Thursday. I told them I wanted a rose on my shoulder that looked realistic. Cam drew one up for me and worked with me on the size. He shaded it beautifully. American Tattoo Company is a nicely run tattoo & piercing company off 45, the interior is clean & much more privacy with this new remodel. Receptionist is friendly, Everytime came here for a piercing, it was fast & simple. I never got an infection & how they did it was in a little room for privacy & they didnt mess up. I recommend American to anyone looking to have a friendly, fast, clean & outstanding experience getting a piercing or tattoo.

Ive had 5 tattoos done at this shop, all by Hector. Obviously Ive had great experiences since I keep going back. The shop is always clean, everyone who works here is kind and professional. As for the tattoos in particular; Ive never had an issue with healing or scarring. Hector is great. Only once did I take in a specific photo I wanted replicated on my skin. For the rest I told him what I had in mind, and basically gave him full reign of his own artistic ability. My tattoos are beautiful and I highly recommend this shop.

I took my daughter her to get her ears pierced and the experience was great. Couldn’t have expected more. The shop was very clean, everything was very sterile and the gentleman doing the piercing was very patient with us. He took his time to explain the process, what it was going to feel like and how to clean and care for her pierced ears afterward. So I got a matching tattoo with my Sis and the owner of the shop was super friendly! The owner Lawer did my ear piercing and it went very smoothly!! Very nice man!!I got my tattoo done Mike (an ass hole that knows it!) and he did really good work! Im coming back in March to get a touch up on the Arrow and then another one with color so lets see how that goes!

I got a vertical Lebret piercing there yesterday and the experience was absolutely perfect. The piercer Sydney is absolutely amazing. She is friendly and explains everything. Her technique is the best Ive seen and the piercing itself was painless and quick. Everything is also very very clean. I HIGHLY recommend her.

Ive been coming to this location for years now getting ink done all over my body. Cam has been my artist and has done amazing traditional work on my arm. In fact, we are almost done with my sleeve. Cam is always professional, clean, and accommodating. Ive brought in my own family to also get work done by him and everyone is just as impressed as I am. Another mother/daughter experience that was perfect!

I have had two piercings done here (cartilage and nose) and have been so happy with the service here both times. The woman at the front desk is always very helpful with cleaning and care techniques. And the guy that did the piercing was just AWESOME! He knows exactly what he is doing. Very fast, minimal pain. He makes sure you get your piercing in just the right place then goes over care again with you (which shows me he really cares). I love this place. Highly recommend for piercings.
