I dont like leaving bad reviews but in case anyone else is having the same problem.For weeks now I been trying to reach the piercer, but no response.I called the shop like 2 or 3 times, they are always very sweet over the phone.When I call, the piercer is never there & they always refer me to make an appointment online (which is to email the piercer to schedule the appointment).Ive emailed her 3 times & I never got a response, which is weird because they told me the email was checked daily.I finally decided to go somewhere else.I went to Cypress Piercing, the girl that did my piercing was very friendly & I did not have to make an appointment.

I made my appointment with Russel & he nailed my vision on the tattoo I asked for! We would talk a lot about the tattoo to see if everything was up to par before starting, not only that his team are super cool. All of them are super experienced & busy. They welcomed me like if I was apart of the family. I highly recommend this shop for your future tattoos, they’re definitely worth it! Just make sure to book your appointments with them accordingly because they do get busy 👍🏽

If I could give this place 10/10 I would! The atmosphere is great and everyone there is wonderful. I got my first tattoo here a year ago so I decided to go here again. Needless to say I’m very pleased with my decision. Jake Lee did such a wonderful job, I can’t express how in love I am with this tattoo and how much it means to me. He did 1000x times better than I was expecting and I can not thank him enough. I definitely recommend this place to my friends and everyone else if they ever want to get a tattoo!

So I’ve been pierced here 3 times and tattooed twice. Let’s be real, this place is amazing. The atmosphere is amazing, the artists/piercers are kind and friendly.I trust Bo the most because he’s done all my tattoo work and piercings. He’s very friendly and likeable and his work is by far the best. I’m so glad I went to him and I plan on finishing my sleeve with him when money is right. His technique and artwork are fantastic and he is honest with you. His piercings are almost painless and always quick. No more than 10 minutes.This is my go to shop and I will always be returning for more. In the photo is the healed work from him.

Great place! Bo did an amazing job! He was patient and made sure he put together a piece that was exactly what I wanted. He listened and added ideas and the product is much better than I imagined. Definitely recommend Bo to anyone.

Me and my friends were in town for a wedding decided to be spontaneous and get some piercings. Walked in we were greeted immediately the owner Ash came right down talked to us and got the ball rolling. While one person was getting pierced someone else started to talk to one of the artist and next thing you know they got us in for 4 people to get some work done. The staff was very friendly and welcomed all of us in. If in town I recommend anyone thinking about anything to stop by here and see the staff at Royal Avenue Tattoo.

Some people make call me silly, but it was my first tattooing experience and I put a lot of time and thought into whether or not I wanted to get a tattoo to begin with before even settling on an idea. These wonderful folks were able to get my daughter in at the last minute for a mom & daughter tattoo session. I’m a nurse and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the shop and their attention to detail. Hunter was really great with my daughter- she was very anxious. Ed Lee did my tattoo and I am beyond happy with it.

Its been a few years since Ive been here, but when my husband and I decided to get matching wedding date tattoos, I knew where to come! Everyone working was super nice and professional, and made us feel right at home.Not to mention this place is SPARKLING clean! My best friend also came with, and we both decided to get piercings (ear). She got her snug pierced, and I got my rook pierced. Both of us have been healing so well and quickly without pain due to the aftercare instructions as well as the skill of the gentleman who pierced us. I HIGHLY recommend this shop for both tattoos and piercings. They will take their time to make sure you are going to be happy with their work, and they clearly love what they do! So lucky to have this place in Spring!!

It was nice I only went by to see if they did piercings for kids which they do but are very pricey and you have to set an appointment.

This was my first time getting a tattoo so I was really nervous. Bo was extremely nice and patient I loved that he explained the process and talked me through it as we went through it. Definitely made it easier and more calming. I gave him some ideas for the piece I wanted and he incorporated all of them into a beautiful piece. They really do put their customers first. The best tattoo/piercing shop I have ever been to! Both Ash and Bo are wonderful. I had my septum pierced by Bo, who was extremely kind and informative. I had a bad experience with a piercer in the past and he took the time to explain everything to me in detail. I got a tattoo and a dermal piercing by Bo. Not only did he do an excellent job on putting together my tattoo together but the lines are perfect and superclean!! My dermal has healed excellently and didnt really hurt much when it was done. I highly recommend this tattoo shop!! Will do business again!!

I got my tragus pierced here today and Bo was just wonderful. He was extremely kind and patient and explained everything clearly. After going to another nearby tatoo shop off of FM 2920 where tatoo artist was nasty, rude and had an attitude at front. We decided to come here instead. We are on our way home extremely happy with the tatoo and the service we got. Thank you Mr. Hunter, You are a professional. I chose this place based on the reviews and after today, it was definitely The Best choice! I went in for 2 piercings and the first thing I noticed was how clean the shop is. Ash was the first person to greet me and she was so nice and informative with the starting process. Once I went to the back, she was very thorough in every step. She did AMAZING on my piercings!! She took her time with making sure it was all even and placed of my liking before the final step and her patience and skill really shows. I HIGHLY recommend Ash for piercings and I am already planning on going back.

A few weeks ago I was able to get tattooed by Ronnie. I was in Texas on business from Atlanta and decided maybe itd be fun to get tattooed. So glad I did! Ronnie is wonderful and completely transformed my idea into something much more than I had hoped for. Be a trusting client and let him do his thing! Im so in love with my tattoo and it was a great experience overall!Also for the shop in general - its very clean and everyone was very welcoming even though I had never stepped foot in there before. If you want to get tattooed - go for it!

Went there today with a couple of friends to get my first piece done. When we got there we were greeted by a man named Pruitt. He did ended up being the artist that did my tattoo (pictured). Reasonable pricing and I was happy with the tattoo. However Pruett seemed irritated and was not very hospitable during our visit. Overall decent.

My sisters and I got our navels pierced by Ash the day after Christmas and she was AMAZING. She made us feel totally comfortable and calmed all the nerves. Ash explained the rules of recovery with the dos and donts and answered all questions we had. She was very precise and did really great work- we were all very happy with the turn out. Came here to get a tattoo finished by an artist named Sam Hudson. Hes moved since then, but had to say I really loved the shop and the people here. Ash talked piercings to me for a bit and everyone was just really cool. Just recommended this place to a friend because of the great experience I had there years ago. I went in for an industrial piercing and Ashley (the peircer) gave an explanation on why it would be difficult for it to heal because of the anatomy of my ear, so instead she gave me an outter conch piercing and I love it!! She talked me through the process and explained how to clean it very thoroughly. I was relaxed and felt very comfortable the entire time. This place is awesome and I definitely will be coming back for more piercings.

Ash was very knowledgeable about body piercings (my belly button to be precise), and even though I had it done somewhere else, she gave me at least 50% more information on the procedure and was more than willing to share it with me. The belly rings they sell are stunningly beautiful and very high quality. I will recommend this place, and specifically Ash, to any of my friends seeking out any piercings.

I went in for a cartilage piercing and ash is AMAZING. She was so informative and made sure I knew exactly what was going on and let me know why Ive had trouble healing previous piercings. This was by far the best piercing experience and Im going back the next time I get pierced

I really hate when ppl waste my time. I made the appointment Saturday to get my daughter’s ears pierced on the following Monday and the lady didn’t even bother to show up. I believe it was the owner/mgr(?) that tried to sort it out but he could have cared less. There was no sorry, just reschedule was his solution. Their customer service sucks. I would never recommend this place based on their professionalism alone...save yourself the trip, go someplace else.

J. Pruett was amazing! He made me feel safe and comfortable about getting my first tattoo. I love the atmosphere there. Highly satisfied customer. Polite easy going all around badass. Loved it.

Canceled appointments at the last min, or never showed fir appointment, never returns emails

Went in for an appointment for a tattoo but my artist left the shop for undisclosed reasons and I got put with another artist they recommended. He had a broken leg come to find out from a bar fight. He charged me $300 for an hour and 20 minutes or so of work that was extremely rushed and sloppy. He literally shaded outside the lines and the work doesnt look good at all. Went in later to have it fixed by a different artist (Eric) who did it just as rushed and made the mess even worse. Keep in mind the entire time the artists upstairs were telling me its great custom work that the previous artist had done and Russ was laughing going it has to be perfect mocking me. Owner never contacted me back. Ive been to multiple other tattoo shops and they said it cant be covered up- its solid black. See for yourself and ask yourself if you would like to support a business like this.Update- Has been replying to other comments on this page but not this one.

Extremely rude artists, and poor tattoo execution. Did not try to connect with customers. Rushed through my tattoo and jabbed the needle in my leg and girlfriends wrist. They left splotches of color missing from both our tattoos and they are not healing properly. The piercer was very rude and very unprofessional. Made fun of us for having basic tattoos. I would not go back to this shop for any reason, and I suggest nobody else does if you want a good tattoo experience.

We walked in to get a tattoo and before we could even say exactly what we wanted this man told us no he wouldn’t do it any smaller than the picture we showed and he said it would look ugly and he refused to do it any smaller. We only wanted it like half an inch smaller. He was very rude and I wouldn’t reccomend going here.

My experience here was awesome. I got my tatoo done by ADAM. I orginally had scheduled an appointment with Russ two weeks ahead of time but he was unavailable, which at first had me upset because he could have notified me. Although, Adam was wonderful and my tatoo is bad ass. He was very professional, friendly and just cool overall. The prices here are a bit steep but its totally worth your money if something has to be on you forever. Im so happy with my experience and I will return to Adam who did an awesome cover up (which is isnt easy)! My tat lines are perfect, and shading is great. Im a happy camper! I went in to check out the shop and wanted to get a peircing that day and a quote on a tattoo. They took down my info because the peircings girl wasnt there and she never even bothered to call me.The shop was nice enough and I would have liked to have given my business here but have been going elsewhere for peircings but may try again for my tattoos.
